I have known Sean for about 8 years. He has always taken good care of me and my Mercedes. You still get the top quality service you would get at the dealer for a very reasonable price. I made an appointment for 10am today and was done by 11am. Outstanding service!! I highly recommend them. Five stars all the way.

The Auto Shop had a very comfortable lobby with WiFi, nice furniture, and fun automobile facts that appeared on a TV monitor. The service here was outstanding. I made an appointment but got there a little early. They were able to take my car after just a short wait. There were a couple of customers in front of me, and I heard Dave give each of them very thorough and helpful information about their automobiles. After my oil change and inspection, Dave gave me the same excellent service he gave the 2 customer before me. He sat down and explained what was inspected, what looked good, and what services I might want to consider getting. No pressure at all. Just a lot of useful information explained in layman terms so that I could make my own informed decision. I would highly recommend The Auto Shop to anyone. Ive never experienced such exemplary service anywhere else. And their appointment system is so efficient. Usually when you make an appointment somewhere, you show up and still have to wait. When I arrived for my appointment, they were ready to go and already gathered a lot of the information they needed ahead of time.

Excellent service. Came in for a reasonably priced oil change. Also received a free 32 pt inspection whereby my brake pads, tires, spark plugs, filters, etc, were inspected and measured (where applicable). I appreciated my car being thoroughly inspected and measurements being provided for the brake pads and tread depth for each wheel. In addition, the new oil change sticker had a 5,000 mile interval to come back in instead of the 3,000 mile interval that most places mistakenly put. Trustworthy staff who are excellent at their job. This was my first time and I will be back.

I was provided with an update on other services my car would benefit from These services were very reasonable. I truly appreciate the excellent service. Not only did I bring my car in last week to be fixed, Im bringing my other car in this week as well. I am so happy to have found an honest, decent mechanic. They are professional in every way - from the waiting room with coffee and phone chargers, to the way they showed me what needed to be fixed on my car. Ive been taking my car here for years. Friendly fair services. Theyll take you to your car and show you whats wrong before they start working on it. They offer shuttle service to a limited areas. I used to be able to work on my own cars but I dont have the space anymore. Its nice being able to find out that THE Auto Shop truly treats your car as their own.

The guys (and girls!) at THE Auto Shop are amazing!! They treat you like family and they definitely dont try to nickle and dime you when you come in. Their prices are a little higher when it comes to an oil change (were talking $5-10, so not that big of a deal), but the service they provide truly makes a difference.Also, their 32-point inspection (at least I think thats what its called) is no joke. They have found a couple of things (minor here or there) and they take the time to explain everything to you before you leave. They never push you to buy new parts or to fix something right away. Instead, they inform you of their findings and make recommendations.Im not sure I could go anywhere else!! Theyre fantastic!P.S. - if you find an active Groupon/Amazon/Living Social, etc. deal, just call them. Theyll give you the deal vs. you having to buy it through a 3rd party!

I was referred here by my sister who has been coming here for her services. I was very impressed by the level of service they provide from start to finish and their very competitive prices.I took my in my Lexus to The Auto Shop and Sean super sweet and welcoming. After evaluating my car he went over what the diagnosis and what they recommend for service. I didnt feel like I was being pressured at any point in time and really appreciated how he brought out the filters from my car so that I can see the evidence of his findings. Again the pricing is very reasonable and inexpensive in comparison the dealership. The service was very quick and painless.While you wait in the lobby there is also a charging station for your phone, coffee, and a shuttle if you would like to go elsewhere while you wait on your car.Thank you Sean for everything! Awesome shop. Had a water pump installed on my Camry, less than a year ago…it failed last week. These guys treated me like GOLD, no questions, fixed with a NEW water pump the same day, at no cost! I may have had a one-off bad experience, but I performed an alignment on my car at this shop, picked up the car and still felt like something was off - car was pulling right, steering wheel was not tracking straight. I went to a different shop who performed an alignment and the numbers were way off manufacturer specs. They corrected and the car drives much better now.

Brought my Lexus in for a quick oil change. They had me in and out in under an hour. Great service and definitely better prices then the dealership. They recommended some other minor observations they noticed on the car and fixed those up promptly. It was a bit hot in the waiting room and I think the A/C could have been cranked up a bit more but it was manageable. Great customer service with a smile. Would visit them again in the future.

Prompt service. Went there for getting my car tire puncture fixed. Was done in 15 minutes, but pricey though. $25 for fixing the puncture.

Once my warranty was up at the dealership, I looked into finding an auto shop that I can trust to take my cars in. I found that place in THE Auto Shop. They are very professional and seem very honest which to me is the most important traits for a mechanic. Visited The auto shop last week during my lunch break to get my battery replaced.I was pleasantly surprised at the clean front office, free WiFi, mobile charging station, professional staff, and superior service. I was a little late for my appointment but they began working on my car immediately. The battery was in and out before I could even use any of there amenities. Justin noticed that my battery light was on and went the extra mile to evaluate the cause before letting me leave. He offered his professional advice but was not pushing any additional services. This was my first visit to The auto shop and I was very impressed with the level of service I received and will be returning. I highly recommend that everyone take their vehicles here for service. The guys at THE Auto Shop worked on my Audi Q7 a few months ago, doing brake work for me at a significant cost savings from the dealership. Sean is the man! Had an issue with a check engine light on my IS300 that had been going on for several months and Sean was able to provide an honest assessment and recommendation. Cant say enough about these guys, they are truthful, reliable, and trustworthy.

If finding a reliable mechanic is like striking gold, THE Auto Shop is a gold mine. I have gone in twice for maintenance: the first time it was for two fairly simple things, so they only charged me the cost of the parts with no labor. The second time I brought it in for serious maintenance, they said unfortunately there were some special order parts that had to be sold in bundles (I have a 12 yr old car), and would add an extra $500 to the cost of maintenance. 26 hours later, they had worked up the entire car (new brakes, new tires, rusted suspension bolts/knuckles, cabin and engine filters, etc) and saved me that $500 by finding another parts dealer. The quality and the price were unbeatable for the service received, I wouldnt go anywhere else.

This is definitely the one of the best auto shops I have experienced. They are very friendly, honest and the price is fair. They will give you full inspection and let you know which need to be taken care of and which is minor and never exaggerate the problem your car has.

First time with these guys was probably about a week ago. The guys running the place were really cool and helpful. The small lobby area was comfortable with wifi and comfy chairs. It is also helpful that they are also located in the same plaza as a 24 hour fitness and other eateries. Ill be coming back to them for my next service.

I was referred to The Auto Shop from a friend and my experience was one that I have never had at an Auto Shop. They were extremely friendly, explained everything they were going to do to find the issue with my car. They are 100% trustworthy, and have great integrity, which is hard to come by these days with mechanics.

When I took in my Chevy Express van for service, after they spent 2 hours diagnostic on it they determined it was something that was covered under a Chevy recall. They then spent an additional 2 hours re-assembly time, only charged me 1 hour labor and had me take it to a local Chevy dealer to have the repairs done for no charge. (It was an $700.00 ticket item) This was my 2nd great experience with Sean and The Auto Shop. I will continue to not only go there, but refer to my friends. Thank you Auto Shop !

Our Honda window motor stopped working on a cold morning during our drive into work. We originally contacted the dealership and they wanted charge 20% more than the auto shop and take 2 days instead of the auto shop’s estimated 4 hours for the repair. When we arrived at the mechanic, our overall impression was courtesy, friendly, reliable and welcoming. I think the key factor here is the “welcoming” atmosphere because they made us feel comfortable. That is hard to find that trait in mechanics these days. Now we are back again to fix the Lexus, water pump replacement and a discount on back window motor repair. Two thumbs and high recommendations for this place.

Very professional shop, it will feel like you are at a dealer but lower prices. They presented all the options and didnt try to gouge or up-sell me. I felt like there recommendations were reasonable with cost in mind. I will be back to The Auto Shop with my 2003 Honda CRv for its next service.

Rude front desk guy! So the guy out front tells me to go inside to make an appointment. I literally drag my kids (one is an infant) outta the car inside. The front desk guy tells me theres no more appointments today. I said, the guy out there told me there was. He said there arent any until Monday! I said all I need is an oil change, could you squeeze me in? He said absolutely not. Then as Im loading my kids in the car, I hear him go to a mechanic, whisper some crap about me, and proceed to ask the mechanic to help out a customer who didnt make an appointment after me! Im so irritated at the lack of consistency here! When a mom pulls all her kids outta the car because your coworker told her there were appointments available, you should figure it out! That guy needs to be fired!

I have a 2002 Lexus Rx and I was really skeptical about who I should take it to when I was having trouble with it. I wasn’t sure what was wrong with it but the check engine light had came on. This was my worst nightmare because I thought it was going to be real expensive. Luckily the guys at The Auto Shop in Irvine were there to help me out. They got me in quick and had the best customer service. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. They had my car back and running quickly. And I was really amazed that it didn’t cost no were near as much as I expected.

The Auto Shop is the best place to take your car for any full service job! Ive researched many auto shops for my M3 Bmw but this is the best in terms of pricing, service and professionalism! Sean and the managers do a great job in explaining what needs to be done and never fail in getting the job done right! They were all very friendly, professional and trustworthy. I didnt feel pressured into doing anything. I came in to do my oil change, spark plugs, wheel alignment, tire rotation, fix a leak in my oil pan, change my brakes and rotors, change my cooling fan, and even resurface my rims. I feel like my baby got a whole new facelift both inside and out! I cant thank you guys enough! Im even more proud to drive my car around now! They said it was a must for me to get a synthetic blend and made me pay for the higher cost which was okay since I agree to. However I told them i found them through Yelp and I wish they told me about the free upgrade to synthetic blend deal on Yelp if I totally missed it. Most other businesses have let me know about such things to me before.However, I noticed my windshiled pump stopped working after. I called them back if they could take a look. They said it probably has nothing to do with them and will charge me $105 just to take a look- no repair. It is true that this might have nothing to do with them. But it did stop working right after the oil change. I think they couldve at least consider the possibility of it being related since the last it functioned correctly was right before the oil change. They were very over confident and 100% sure that it was nothing to do with them. Instead they didnt even want to consider the fact that they might have made a mistake. And it is ridiculous amount to charge for a check out. I called other places and they charge about half of the price.This is a competitive business with so many shops around it. I think lack of small consideration like this makes this place far worse than others. And it is also very overpriced.

Sean and his team are stellar about getting you in and out on schedule, and are flexible with drop-offs. They have performed oil changes, brakes, and other scheduled maintenance for me, all at competitive pricing compared to dealerships. In addition, The Auto Shop has performed diagnostics when my check engine light comes on, or when I have other un-scheduled maintenance problems. They have also do PPI / Pre-purchase inspections for me when looking at pre-owned cars.Bottom line is that they wont scam you with unnecessary maintenance. I recommend all my non-car savvy friends/family to come here, knowing that Sean and his team will take care of them.

I brought oil change coupon from Group-on for $22.5 of Auto Shop.Went for oil change with group-on coupon,additional to oil change I mentioned to check the noise which was coming from rear left wheel.He come up with quote of $105 just to inspect the noise!! I told not to inspect,then he mentioned to wave off inspection charge.After inspection he gave quote of $210 for fix the noise with estimated waiting time of 2Hrs.Apart from these he mentioned couple of other unnecessary recommendation.Later I took the vehicle to Just Tyres shop to check the noise of rear left wheel.He inspected and removed a small rusted piece which was rubbing in between wheel and break shoes in few minutes. Didnt even charged a penny to fix it !!!Auto shop fellow was either in-experienced or tried to cheat so politely !!!

If you work full time, getting your car worked on is a huge pain in the butt.Not here, though.This place makes it incredibly simple and stress free. Not only did they diagnose my engine problem, repair the complicated issue and change my oil in less than half a day, but they applied the diagnostic fee toward the cost of repairs, keeping my repairs bill a lot lower than I ever expected.I had my check engine light cause diagnosed, oil pressure sensors repaired, air filter cleaned and full-synthetic, seven-quart oil change with a premium oil filter. My grand total for services? $198! Ive been charged $93 just for a synthetic oil change before. Thats amazing.BUT HERES THE BEST PART!They will drive you (for free!) anywhere within 10 miles of their location so you can get to work like nothing happened. And theyll even come pick you up from where they dropped you off when your car is done.And youre not being driven in some sweaty, noisy, cramped bus or van they shuttle people in like youre at the airport. A beautiful young lady drove me to and from work in a brand new, enormously roomy, incredibly clean, great-smelling Lexus with air conditioned seats and let me choose whatever radio station I wanted.Oh yeah, and just to ice the cake, in they have free WIFI in the waiting room with phone chargers available for most types of phones. So I even worked on catching up on emails and surfing the web in the lobby while I drank the free Keurig coffee waiting for them to give me a quote.I honestly want something to go wrong with my car again just so I can go back.

THE Auto Shop has given me one of my best mechanic repair shop experiences! I recently moved to California from Michigan with no connections and needed to put on shiny new California license plates. Lucky for me, 8 years of Michigan snow and salted roads had rusted the screws holding my license plate...permanently.I brought my car here and they explained the situation and estimated it may take about 1 hour to get the CA plates on. Meanwhile, one of their drivers recommended and took me to see Irvine Spectrum shopping center. It turns out the repair only took 30 minutes, so when I got back, they were completely HONEST and ONLY CHARGED ME FOR THE WORK THEY DID. I have had so many previous experiences where places up-charged me or offered unnecessary services.This experience was really refreshing and I have already become a repeat customer with THE auto shop many times now!

The smoothest and most exceptional experience I have ever had with any auto shop so far!! Hands down! I contacted the Auto Shop for a pre-purchase inspection of a 2012 Honda Civic CNG (Natural Gas), and from the time I made my first phone call to the time I collected the car post inspection, The Auto Shop team went WAY out of their way to make sure I was making a safe purchase. They accommodated me last minute on a Saturday; Jason made sure to confirm that his Honda master technician stayed available for my cars inspection.After the inspection was complete, Ryan at the front desk pulled up the cars Carfax as an extra check to make sure the car was clean (he did this without me asking him to). FOR FREE. There was a confusing datapoint about the cars mileage on Carfax. He worked on it for at least 20 minutes to get to the bottom of it, including calling Honda (again, without me even asking) to check if they could confirm our information about the mileage. The guys actually kept the shop open late just to check all of this for me...they werent working on any other cars or any other customers.This entire team of experts had my back when purchasing a used car, which is such a huge feeling of relief and security when I finalized my decision to buy it. I cant thank them enough!
