Called to make an appointment that very well would have cost around 1K. Heard nothing back from them, even after calling and speaking with a very rude and sassy receptionist who told me she did not have an estimate and would be sending someone an email to contact me. Waited about a week, nothing. Cancelled appointment and went with someone else.
See my review of Toyota Autonation Irvine for more details. Essentially, they tried to push a bunch of services on me and framed them as a “need” rather than an option. I lifted the hood when I got home and actually none of the services were needed. Case and point: the throttle body service they wanted to charge $200 for when the throttle body looks almost brand new.
So far, and honest snd great service. Had a windshield crack. They returned the windshield twice to Toyota because of a manufacturing defect. A defect, you and I won’t even recognize. A high ethical professionals where you feel safe leaving your car with them.
Joe was my service professional. He helped me with my alignment and warranty work. Great guy who knows what he is doing!
Not great customer service here. Had an appointment and went to drop off the car and then they had us wait almost half an hour to leave. Then when my partner returned she felt that they were unhappy that they had to service her car for a routine oil change since it was not a Toyota and were being a little chastising towards here when I wasnt there (only came because she had an Autonation package). Overall with this location and AutoNation in general I havent had great experiences. The prices are higher here, I would recommend just getting a Groupon and going to Jiffy Lube for an oil change as their is no deal to be had here.
Great service, didnt take too long, only looked at what I needed done and didnt overcharge. Took only a little over an hour for a full maintenance check, air filter replacement and emissions test. Ive never had a bad experience with Toyota service; just have regular maintenance on your vehicle and youll have a better experience than if you wait until things are broken beyond repair.
I am so grateful for the service that I received today at AutoNation Irvine for the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought 4 months ago. The service director, Dan, greeted me when I arrived, took the time to listen to my concerns, and addressed them immediately. He called Yazem, the used car manager, to support with checking out the issues. They determined that my broken windshield washer tube was a quick fix and took care of it right away. I didnt even have to wait to get it fixed. The service was stellar and with a smile (or at least smiling eyes) since everyone was properly masked and observing Covid safety protocols. I am so impressed! This made my day since I am going out of town tomorrow. Thanks, guys! I highly recommend AutoNation Toyota Irvine.
Try to always get my car serviced here. Great place. Room to work if you wait. Otherwise, there is wifi and things nearby.
Avoid the Collision Center. They do not answer phone, took almost a month to fix a door and then delivered it with paint overspray. They dont do bodywork there, your car is driven back and forth to Costa Mesa!? #poorwork #poorcustomerservice youd think the fact that Id just bought the car there a couple months ago would help....it didnt
Will not come back here. Very poor customer service. Took us almost 30 minutes of wait before we could get taken care of or attended by a service advisor (I had an appointment for a regular maintenance service), and after dropping off our car around 1 pm, we didnt even get a call that our car was ready for pick up, I had to call the service center at 6:30 pm to find out what was going on. When it was time to pick up my car, i have spoken with a Chris Cortez and he made me feel like i was wasting his time, he was rushing when it came to payment, was rude and even told me you know theres a Honda by harbor off the 405. I have always gone to Toyota AutoNation in Buena Park since thats where i purchased my car and had a prepaid account back then, it was my first time checking this place out in Irvine, I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE. Will take my money elsewhere.
Dont feel like I can trust them, if I ask questions and this goes for the representative who worked with me, he almost became annoyed. Felt that he wanted to convince me of performing the suggested repairs; rather than reassure me that they were factually required, this was my experience today. I have been meaning to correct my past review since the manager was extremely professional I will up this dealership with a stars review.
First service on my prius prime...car was ready when promised.
Booked an oil change appointment online. I waited more than 15 minutes in the service line and no one even acknowledged me. I can’t imagine how long it would actually take to get an oil change here. I ended up leaving and will go to another Toyota dealership.

Made an appointment for 7:15 am for a front brake job, break fluid flush, and tire repair which took 6 hours to complete. (Quoted for 2-3 hrs)Watched swaths of customers come and go. Had to ask several times for a time update.Whats the point of making an appointment for terrible service and timeframe of work.
Vehicle brought in for routine maintenance, a very expensive and rare pair of sunglasses was stolen from the vehicle. Service rep said the technician did not steal them. The item was in the vehicle prior to being dropped off and was not there upon pick up. I am not looking to be compensated for this item, I want the item back. I have filed a police report with Irvine Police. Im sad to say, aside from this experience Ive been satisfied with my experience however, I cannot overlook this petty act. I felt confident leaving items in my vehicle as Ive never experienced such a brazen act of theft.

Still waiting for my car to be done. I have already waited for 3 hours for a tire rotation and oil change with an appointment. Manny was irritated and annoyed that I asked when it will be done (he didn’t know). Now I am unhappy and uncomfortable here and still waiting.
Waited for more than 3 hours to get my battery for warranty, only had 2.5 years on it but they only gave me a 50/50 on the warranty?!? paid $75 for the replacement!! much better to get your battery at costco,

Ive always had great service here. Very nice new lounge that offers Starbucks coffee, snacks and sometimes donuts. Id say the only draw back is that the wait times could be long. But the other hand they offer free shuttle service.
I bring my car here for service. The service advisors have always been up front and honest with me. I appreciate that.

Im not one to leave reviews but I am a math person. After 80k miles I got my Toyota Prius serviced at this location for a grand total of $942. Before tax, the cost breaks down to $761 for labor and $165 for parts. Ive been told that Im paying for the job, not by the hour, which is fair, but I was also told that the job was done by only one mechanic and it only took him 2 hrs. So Ive just paid $380/hr for labor, which is a little over double the hourly rate they say they charge ($162). Id highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This is the second time the car has been brought in a week span for low tire pressure in the right tire. Both times the repairs were said to take minimal time as it has been very slow, this did not end up being the case. The first time my girlfriend brought in her car and was told the missing 20 psi was because of the cold 65 degree temperature. Needless to say this expert opinion took an hour, I hope he didn’t hurt his brain. Now I am bringing in the car and am told that the tire patch repair that was done was poorly placed and it needs a new tire. Why was this repair done in the first place then? Do I really need a tire because the tire goes flat every three days? Did my rim damage the side wall. Well never know but you can count on Toyota making you wait and giving you the worst prices for services.
If you plan to get an oil change do not go to this place. We book an appt for a reason. 2 hours for oil exchange I think its too long when you have an appointment.
Took my car there for a recall. When I got my car back, the next morning my backup camera was not working. Told Toyota they broke my camera, they would not fix it stating, they never broke one before. I guess Toyota considers their first break a free be for them.

My husband and I went into Toyota Irvine at 6:30 pm after a long day of being treated poorly by other dealerships. We told Sam about our rough day and he went above and beyond to get us out the door with our new Prius V. He answered all of our questions and was very honest with us. We would highly recommend working with Sam and going to Toyota Irvine.

I’ve had mixed experiences here. Customer service isn’t great in the sales or service departments. I’ve bought Camry’s here (leases) in 2012 and 2015 though so I guess the price and lease deals were good enough to keep me coming back!

I was disappointed in service. I was there for a scheduled simple addition of oil. Rep immediately wrote up oil change-much more expensive without checking my record. I had asked that my wipers be adjusted, which was done, but not well. They gave me a list of maintenance that needed to be done, one not normally required for many more miles driven! I would not trust them, especially as a woman driving my first Hybrid.
Dont let the salesman promise anything to you unless you get it in writing because as soon as you start talking to the sales manager and its time to sign the paperwork theyre going to have amnesia.

Took in my 07 Camry for an oil consumption recall. I have reasons to believe the axle was damaged during the service. The technician told me I had a bad motor mount and will have a slight vibration. I replaced the motor mount. Vibration persisted and eventually got worse. I had my mechanic check it out and saw impact marks on the axle along with missing screws, halfway stuck bolts and missing fasteners on the dash which was also replaced. Took it back to the dealer for inspection. They addressed the bolts And missing screws. And said that now the vibration was do to a split inside one of da tires. Which made no sense to me. If I wanted to know which tire was the bad one they were going to charge me a NICE fee. Again I took it back to my mechanic. He inspected the tires, brakes and suspension components and all is good. Only other related component was the axle. I had the axle replaced. And miraculously it is now a smooth ride. Like a TOYOTA is supposed to. Now Im trying to resolve this matter with the service mangers and they seem to be TOO BUSY or not caring. I left messages, voice mails and emails. And still no response. It must be that Im not spending or generating them any $$$. FYI. All of my family has purchased a TOYOTA. 3 Camries, 3 Corollas, a Pick Up, a Tacoma, a 4 runner and the newest addition another Camry for my recently graduated niece. By far, this has been the WORST SERVICE experience Ive had with a TOYOTA. Dont let a legacy of quality and excellent customer service be deteriorated by negligence mediocrity. Pleas DONT IGNORE me.

I bought my RAV4 2 weeks ago. The front staff were fantastic! Everyone involved. I bring my car back for scheduled service today (Permacoat) and they all lacked customer service skill all around. Disappointing.
