Had a nail in my tire while driving on the 405. It was Sunday evening and most of other places are closed. My husband helped me made an appointment at American Tire Depot for 8am on Monday. He also asked me to get there 15 minutes earlier. When I arrived at 7:45am, the shop was still closed. There was 1 person in front of me. It opened at 8am sharp. The person behind the counter was well mannered. He apologized to me for arriving at 8am and asked me what he could help me with. I told him I needed a patch on my tire. He had me filled in a form and he went to help the person behind me. Once I completed my form, I returned to him and he told me it will take about 45-60 minutes to do my job. They do this for free. I dont mind waiting. Other places would charge $20-30 to patch the tire. I went to Ralph to walk around and pretty fast it was already 50 minutes. I went back to the shop and I was told my car is almost ready. And within a few minutes, he passed me the key to my car.The office inside is very organized and clean. Friendly workers. I see there are some promotion going on, Buy 3 free 4th tire . May be this is a good deal. I am not sure when the promotion will end. This was in 7/23/2021.

Their service is absolutely top notch. I had a nail get in the tire late in the night and discovered that when I parked my car at home. By next morning the tire was completely flat. I took the car to them and they fixed it in 1 hour, and the best part is they didnt even charge me any money which was such a pleasant surprise. They were such a great help!

Ricardo! Thats the person you want to go to! I have never had such wonderful customer service like that! Very rare and he was very kind and honest. Went in to check what was wrong with my car and he was very thoughtful and gave me such great advice. Felt like I was taken care of and provided with exceptional service! Made appointment for specific tires online for the price. Went in for appointment, and store only had higher priced tires since the ones i chose are no longer produced. Website must be way out of date to be still advertising for them. Ended up paying more than what I expected, but tires had to be changed. They did accommodate for some things which was nice. Other than that, no other complaints. Timely, and does a good job.

Came in to get my tires replaced. Was told a couple hours. 3 hours later and my car was still parked in the parking lot where I left it, wasnt even on the line. No ETA on how much longer I would have to wait. I was honestly surprised how nonchalantly they accepted me leaving. Pro-tip: An employees immediate reaction to a negative experience tells you a lot about where you are. Either walkouts are commonplace, or they simply do not care, which are both not great signs.I try my best to be understanding. Ive got a buddy who is a mechanic, and I did not schedule an appointment prior, so I sympathize. But 3 hours for no result is just irrevocably upsetting, especially since I was already dumping half a grand on this experience.

Great service. Went in for a nail in the tire. Luckily it wasn’t long enough to puncture the tire. They checked it and made sure it wasn’t leaking. No charge. Will definitely come back.

Had a great experience at this place! Had to find an exact replacement of a tire that ended up with four wood screws in it and wasn’t repairable. Juan was very helpful, found the needed tire in a timely manner and kept a good communication with me!

Called them about a promotion, they said they had the tires and that I can come and have them installed. When I got there they said they were out of those tires and tried to sell more expensive ones, and without a promotion. Wont tell you anything over the phone, will make you come and waste your time

If I could give 6 stars, I would. They deserve it. My car was sluggish to turn over and I had a low tire indicator on so I figured I could get both checked at one stop.I didnt have an appointment and the two gentleman at the desks were both so happy to help me. They brought it in, they filled my tired with air, and low and behold, my alternator had craped out. A little concerned about finding parts in pandemic world, they called so many part stores to get me the part I needed and as low of a price as possible. They talked me through what I was looking at and while it wasnt a cheap fix, it certainly could have been way worse.They were able to fix my car in a day and even stayed open late so I could check out. I can not recommend this shop enough. This is now our shop of choice for anything car related that they can take care of for both me and my roommate.

This American tire depot provided the best-most consistent customer service from the beginning. I called 3 separate times because I was shopping around a few other service centers. Each time on the phone, the manager seemed to care to get my business and help (unlike a lot of other shops). When I arrived to drop off my car, Ricardo was very professional and honest from the start. If you want amazing and honest work, this is the location.

Everyone I spoke to at this shop was super nice and helpful. They explained what was going on with my Jeep really well so I left feeling like I understood my vehicle better. Oh also they gave me a ride home so I could wfh and not have to call off of work. The Jeep is running great now. :)

Knowledgeable about tire options that were specific to my leased vehicle. I had initially made an appointment for a different set of tires for the deal that was running, thinking they would be sufficient when I returned the lease. I decided to change to a different tire, that wasnt in stock (arrived within a few hours), and I he made a great deal to maintain my business. Will come here for all my tire needs.

Ricardo and Juan are crooks. This morning I went to this place to get 2 new Kumho tires install and they say that they have the Kumho tires for me, and it will be ready in 2hrs I got the pricing. 3hrs later I call to see if my cars ready and they say its ready. I got there saw my car out side so I check the tires it was not KumhoIt was some cheap tire from some low quality company I have never heard of. So I go into the office and ask whats going on and they just try to give me a run around, So I started to reason with Juan by saying why did you not call me and say that you dont have the tires and I could havechosen other well known brand over the phone to install instead of wasting more time waiting for different tires to be installed again. Ricardo calls me over to his desk and I go to where he wants me.We are talking while customer are coming in. Ricardo realizing there are quite of few customer inside now and they are hearingthe issues that I am having. Ricardo not wanting to look incompetent he starts to shout out Sir stay six feet away from me and tries to make it look like I am trying to cause some kind of trouble here (very unprofessional). The service office is small. Ricardo and Juan did not have any problems coming up right next to me this morning to give pricing and advice . Very unprofessional Very Rude.

This place patched my tire up on the same day at no charge. I had gone to another tire place that said I would get charged for a full tire inspection even though I told them I was sure there was just a nail that needed to be patched. Highly recommend.

Call ahead by more than three hours so they can go get the tires you ordered from their depot in time for your appointment, otherwise it will get pushed back. Make sure to specify which tires are to be replaced. Ask for their free 78% nitrogen (fresh air) instead of 100% nitrogen to avoid a surprise $8 per tire later. Get ready for the call halfway through the 90 minute operation offering a raft of unnecessary repairs including replacing any other new tires you might have installed that you didn’t ask to be replaced. They will remove any tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) stems you may have and replace them and charge you $8 each. When you get home be sure to deflate the tires from the 42 psi they overinflated them to. There is a brand new Harley Davidson parked out front you can admire while you queue. They use nice flat hydraulic lifts.

Had emergency and they turned me away at 4:55 when they close at 6. Not cool

Richardo is the manager of this shop, he is just an awesome person. I had first time met him at Santa Ana store few years back and one day when I stopped by to this store, he instantly recognized me. He gave me a good deals both the times and was able to take of all my car needs right on the time. All the technicians are also very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend this place. They took cate of my Toyota Venza very well.

Awesome Team at American Tire Depot. Replaced a runflat on my BMW and did a great job. Very friendly and upbeat team and they made the wait very comfortable as well. The team at American Tire Depot did a great job with my vehicle. Advised me of some issues that I was unaware of and got them repaired the same day at a very competitive rate. When an issue came up with the alignment they took full responsibility and got the vehicle’s alignment fixed ASAP. Great work and I’ll be going back for other repairs when needed.

Went in to get old but unused summer tires put on my wifes car. Got recommended struts and new tires that we didnt need right now that wouldve been over a grand. Got the alignment as well and were called that the vehicle was done and ready but a mechanic just took off down the road with the car without saying anything to test drive it and the alignment took another 15 mins. Maybe work on communicating better with your customers and mechanic team and dont let your mechanics take their dinner break at 2:30 in the afternoon when a job isnt done.

I dont leave review often. However, Im very happy with the service I received at American Tire Depot.I recently hit a pot hole and blew out a tire. After the tire replacement (which I did at another place), my vehicle started to pull to the right.After I completed the alignment, the vehicle still pulls to the right.I brought the vehicle in, and the owner of the shop did not charge me extra.They found out the pulling is due to the new tire, and has nothing to do with the alignment. They rotated the new tire to the back and the problem went away. They did not charge me extra. They have earned a customer for life.

Just had some work done here. They were super friendly, communicated what needed to get done well, and did the work quick even though I didnt have an appointment. Very satisfied with my service and I will happily come back!

Unhelpful. The guy at the desk was unwilling to talk/help at all, mostly busy with their Intercom. This experience was entirely opposite to another one that I had with one of their other location. I am pretty accomodating but this place. Wont recommend, sorry.

I have been here twice and twice I have left for the incompetence of their personnel. Every time they have over quoted and/or push to upsell. Went up the street on Edinger and got serviced NO PROBLEM. - Be ready to walk away and be ready to not accept their lies on issues. Find an alternative service center

Ricardo and the team were very helpful and polite. I asked if I could get my tires done by noon if I came in at 8am and they made it happen. My suv needed brakes and shocks after loving in WI they had been eroded from salt on the road. Ricardo helped me find a great deal on all the parts I needed since I was on a budget. Will definitely go back and recommend!

Not sure why they have negative reviews as my experience was very positive and honest. Ricardo confirmed my suspicions that the wear on my tires was abnormal and was an alignment issue. He did not push getting an alignment that day, but was very helpful with getting new tires on my Mercedes. I was able to take my daughter to the park and come back to new tires on the car. Ricardo was also very honest for what he was charging and explained everything thoroughly. It seems that any negative reviews might be from individuals that do not read fine print or even just simple sentences.

Today I dropped my Honda for Oil Change, Tier Rotation, Alignment, and some other services that they offer for free, I found, they did fast and their recommendation for oil change was excellent, Normally I use to my car services in Honda dealership, but I think it is time to move to this service center. I believe they not going to give you any recommendation for your car to charge you more, thanks to all of them

Going to American Tire Depot here at Irvine, was such a great experience; I did not always have the best experience with other tire shops, but I felt so welcomed here and all the issues with my car were fixed; overall wonderful service!

This is to let people know that this place is a scam, Ricardo is always sitting there and will most likely scam you into buying tire protection even if the tire tread is low. Then they will tell you it won’t work, what a scam and they overcharge for tires and installation! DO NOTGO HERE!

They are awesome I am from out of town and they made room for me and fixed my two flat tires with no problem. They even helped me with the price of my tires and really considered my situation.

They had the size I needed in stock. Fast, friendly,and fair. I thought that my brake pads needed to be done. The pads were still in good shape and they didn’t sell me on what I didn’t need.

Awesome customer service & good prices. No pressure up selling, they suggest what work you may need but are cool if you decline. If your near this location, you should do yourself a favor and check them out.

They ended scratching the rims using the alignment machine (indeed all four rims have the same imprint from the device), so at the end, instead of saving money (Buy 4, pay for 3), I am going to be down more than 400$ to fix the rims... Definitely will not recommend using this store

Online order is not accurate at all for certain cars. This is way beyond a few dollars here and there, which I usually dont make it a bit deal. Made the appt online n ordered the tires.. My Tesla X is Continental CrossContact LX Sport 265/45 20in for the fronts.....$500 out the door online. When I brought the car in they said its $700, not $500, because it has foam for quieter ride. Same brand n model tires, but one with foam and one without. I told them I just want the tires without the foam and the ones I ordered online .......they said they are not in stock and that they dont know when it will arrive. It could be weeks or months and they will also charge shipping. Terrible.

I came here last minute, they got my car in right away, made sure I got a ride home, fix ALL the issues with my car and picked my up when it was done. I dont get treated this good when I go to the dealership. I would recommend them to everyone!

Had an appoinment at 12pm to change all 4 tires. Took close to 6 hours to change all 4. I noticed immediately they tried to put my bumper back on my car which was fine when i brought the car in. Also open the hood of my car to fix the bumper(only explanation i can think of for opening my hood) and closed the latch on the cable. Wasnt able to make the claim since i was late for a birthday party but worse service from a tire company. Now i had to pay a body shop to align my bumper correctly and auto shop to assist with opening my hood.

Stay away from this place.R. Bravo Lopez who is manager here gave me a summer tire while my online order says All season tire. When I asked him is this All season tire he said Yes three times . However number was not matching with my online order so after an online search I found he was lying. So I called him He again said its All season tire. When I told Pirelli does not even make a tire which is all season and W speed rating. He accepted and changed my tire. He took one week used tire from me and put stickers and he will sell it to others. Overall he is a cheat. stay away from this American tire depot. or at least this location.
