I had a wonderful time on the Marina celebrating a special occasion with some family and friends. Renting a boat and being out in the water🤔 lets just put it like this... If you havent done it before, its time to go do it now!!! Geist Marina I will be back soon.👍🏾

Four of us went for lunch, sat outside and the view is nice..as well as the food. When the weather is nice again we will return!

The people are nice. The atmosphere is quiet. The waters are calm. And the scenery is beautiful. Not sure what more to ask for. Great day to be on the boat on the Geist!

The staff is very good and helpful. They helped us Doordash food to the marina even. We got all day on a pontoon boat for $400 and it was a great day!

This restaurant is very clean and well-staffed. Im actually working here *until July 4 2021* and I have met everyone in the kitchen who, might I add, are all so kind and they follow through with their tasks so efficiently and quickly! I have not received service from this restaurant but being in the kitchen has shown me the friendly and familial atmosphere, so I can only infer that it is the same outside of the kitchen. I hope youll visit Wolfies in Geist, and you can tell them that Olivia sent you!**This review is for Wolfies Grill in Geist Marina and I seem to have put it in the wrong spot..**

Had a great time, SWEET 16 BOAT 2021 for my daughter boat rental was easy, staff truly professional I would recommend this business.

We had a good time. A pontoon rental was just what the family needed.

Excellent View....I visited with a friend.... Im almost over my fear of being on a Boat....we walked around The Mariner a long stretch before we go to his boat....he have no idea I am afraid to sail on water....I didnt want to ruin an exciting day

If you know what youre doing you can get right in and write out of this location. The guys that work there are super nice and always willing to help especially for a a bunch of the new voters that have zero clue on how to launch or load their boats. However the price to Launch is extremely unreasonable at $40 a pop on the weekends. If you cant afford it go to another Lake I understand why theyre trying to control who goes in there but I think they should offer annual passes

Absolutely love this office. They are friendly, extremely easy to work with, and great about reminding me of my appointments. I tried dry needing for the first time and the relief I felt was amazing. Highly recommend!

Not my type of food but it was nice. I order the chicken tenders they were the best Ive ever had no lie. But it did take over 25 minutes to get that and a burger. When a lady came in 20 minutes after we ordered and got her appetizer before we got our food and their food came a few minutes after we got our food. The server was friendly the water was nice scenery but I was scared for the kids running on the dock afraid they might fall in the water.

This is not an angry review but a disappointed one. I expected more respect and hospitality from the company.We had made a booking for a day that eventually turned out to have thunderstorms. We made sure to double check on their refund and cancellation policies before booking. It clearly said Scheduling changes must be made 3 days in advance of use date. I called them 4 days in advance to cancel and the person who answered my call was extremely rude and was refusing at first to refund because of the weather. He said wed have to cancel the day of, even though that cancellation due to weather HAVE to be made on day of use was not listed among the conditions upon booking. Eventually, the man refunded and said in the future read the fine print then hung up on me. I called again and told him it only mentioned calling 3 days in advance for scheduling changes and I explained how its not ok to hang up on customers. He said youve been refunded, what else are you looking for? to which I replied I was going to reschedule eventually, but youll just lose customers and he said thats your personal opinion.Its such a shame, I was looking forward to enjoying a day on a boat with my family.

Brandy was our server and she was very personable, courteous, and made sure that our food was exactly what we wanted! The food was excellent! The best part was the cheesecake that Brandy personally prepared and served herself. Thank you Brandy!

Loved it great place to visit

The experience itself is great, but the condition of the boats could be a bit cleaner. And the life vests were very dirty, which made u not want to wear them unless necessary. But my kids loved, so I did as well.

The woman that does rentals is incredibly rude.

It was a total blast. Me and my girls(QUEENS) enjoyed ourselves. Even when we got stuck people in another boat guided us out. Will definitely visit again

Easily the worst experience we have had renting a boat ever. The woman checking us in was rude/didnt care to help us at all. We also ran into another family boating the same day who said they experienced the same negative check in experience. We rented a pontoon boat. 5-6 times on the boat it flooded. And I mean completely flooded with 3 inches of water or more. We called and the person on the phone said we were nose diving and to even out the weight of the boat. So we did that and nothing changed. We were too busy worrying about our safety on the boat to have an enjoyable time with friends. Got back to the gas house to fill up and paid for gas - the attendants there were super friendly (which is the only reason Ive giving two stars - that and the online booking process was simple and easy). The door broke on the trip from a wave that took out the door which we also mentioned and the lady informed me they wouldnt charge us for the door (thank the lord since we had no control over that). Paid for gas and I kindly expressed my concerns to the attendants at the docking area and they said thanks and they would tell someone. I just hope nobody else has this experience at Geist as its a beautiful place to boat and in a nice area. I did not expect compensation for the boating day. But I did expect a someone to talk to my family like humans and be kind about it rather than push us off for the next people. Hope they fix the issue with the boat before small children get on, or an elderly person and they arent as agile as we were to hold on before falling off the boat and injuring ourselves. My best advice is boat somewhere else in the area.

They made the day problem free. The boat was ready for me when I got there and the staff was excellent. I forgot the name of the guy that was there to open up but he was busting his but getting things cleaned and dry for our day. He was there the two times we had to dock. We had a great experience and will do this again next year when we come out.

Love being at Geist! It’s a beautiful Marina, with beautiful boats on the water and beautiful boats surrounding it! I have enjoyed every second on this Marina and even made some of the best memories here, too. It’s in a great location, food nearby, and lots of fun to be had! The water is great around June-August, and especially on hot days! Love to inner tube!

Didnt rent a boat; just meeting friends there. Just watching the marina staff though they were very efficient, friendly and looked like they knew what they were doing.

Overcharged for things I asked for prices on in the middle of the summer of 2020 yes in the middle of Covid19 My job took me this direction stopped in thinking I could buy some stuff I did buy some things but I was also overcharged $120 for things I did not buy but asked for questions on prices of things door was locked when I got there unlocked when I exited again unlocked when I came back to ask why I was overcharged I got most of my money back but as I got back to my motel room I found out there was still an overcharge for things I did not remove from the store and they were sold out of any rentals for the next month and a half at that point

This is the only place to get gas on the lake and the price is fair even though they have a monopoly on lake gas. They also winterize boats and jet skis and they did a good job with our watercraft. Their store also has essentials for boating so if you need to quickly something up this would be a good place.

The bridge is such a nice place to walk and enjoy the outdoors! Lots of birds and boats to look at and the restaurants here are fabulous!

Facility is always clean and we always have a pleasant experience with the attendants. The gas prices are normally pretty steep here. If it wasnt so convenient to just go to the Marina I would be buying my gas at the station and hauling it down to my boat in gas cans.

We rented a pontoon boat for 2hrs/ 8 people plus captain of the boat. The price was $100.00 per hr for 8 people. Had a great time.

The quality of the boat rental was alright. Clearly used heavily but no issues with the motor or equipment on board. Plenty of lifejackets and the pontoons cover was in great shape. The only downside was the signage for the rental meant we had to make two trips to the actual rental location and the speed of the pontoon would not be adequate to tube or ski.

If youre looking for a place to rent a boat and explore a large area of water, this is the place. It is easy to miss though if you are not familiar with the area and if you are heading east on Fall Creek Road. Even after looking at it on the map we passed it, at which point you are then on the bridge.Of all the marinas we have been to, this one had the most staff. There is a small store to purchase snacks and drinks, and beyond the parking lot is a bar for beer to go.

Really busy and not very clean. Homes and property off the water were beautiful.

If anyone comes across a damaged speed boat there was an incident on the lake Friday night actually Sunday morning 2:30 a.m. A speed boat hit a fishing boat and the driver of the fishing boat was injured the boat was totaled. He was left 4 dead as far as they know he is at the bottom of Giest lake. They did not stop. If anyone tries to get a boat fixed or you see a damaged speed boat please contact D&R or the marina or Fishers the police department. The fisherman is Randy Mathis a security guard for the Giest marina. Your vigilance in reporting Speeders especially at night is greatly appreciated please contact DNR and they will respond as quickly as possible. He is lucky to be alive. I love the lake but boating speeding at night is a huge safety issue for fishermen

Great scenery, great resources, but shallow water. Be careful if you have a larger boat.

Its easy to grab a boat for a day of relaxation and fun on the water. They would get 5 stars if they rented on the 4th of July for the fireworks.

Rented a pontoon from this company, and we were blown away with the service and what we got to use for the whole day! The pontoon was in great condition and ran great! We will rent from this company again!

Friendly and helpful staff. Since theyre the only option for service, gas & slips on the lake; be prepared to pay. Great place to be during Thunder on the Dam.
