Different story every time i called to check on the boat. Went from having the new parts and in process of installing to having trouble with parts availability to just needs retested and back to no parts availability again. When i called him out on the changing of stories he immediately denied it all. I pulled my boat from him to bring to a different shop and got the start of a lecture on nobody else will touch it being so old. Well i got 3 other shops willing to work on it and all said they get tons of rework from this shop. This was before making the decision to pull the boat from him.One thing he did do well was did not charge me for work done (if there was any) when i pulled the boat from him.Long story short read the other reviews. Theres an excuse for all the poor reviews saying they arent correct but from my experience they all were.

I have used Quality Craft Mobile Marine for a few years. It seems as long as I was only getting my motor winterized the service was good. However, when I needed more in depth service I was truly dissatisfied, as I witnessed poor/no service, which resulted in him having my boat for extended periods of time past the promised date only for him to tell me he has not looked at my boat yet . Due to his lower cost of service I attempted to continue to use him but to my dismay, the same lack of QUALITY service continued.... I had to find another repair shop

I have used Earls Quality Craft Mobile Marine several times and he always comes through. My son is a competitive bass fisherman and when we need service we need it done fast and need it done right. We need the boat on the water and not in the shop and Earl makes sure we never miss a competition....he has done everything from lower unit work, to upper unit work, to live wells to even making sure we can get the boat to the tournaments by making sure the trailer is in top shape. We count on Earl to do the job right and he always has...and at fair rates. We recommend Earl to all our friends in the tournament community and would recommend him to anyone that needs boat work done.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOAT HERE FOR SERVICE OR STORAGE!!!! I would give zero stars if it would let you. For starters after supposedly storing our boat with the cover on, indoors, it was returned to us filthy, tears in the seat, spider webs and about 3 inches of standing water under all our seat and side storages. Then after spending over $2000 on repairs the boat wouldnt even start. Earl actually came out to the marina to take a look and started rigging the carburetor, wiggling wires and started it up after pulling out a broken belt. I asked why he didnt fix the belt and he said it was only squeaking, not broken. (my husband said to fix EVERYTHING on this boat so we would have no troubles this season) My father in law was with me at the marina meeting and he requested to take it on a test drive to see how it runs. Our reply was I dont ever go out on the water, I dont swim (after he bragged to my husband when we first met about his big boat on Monroe) after I called him out on that and he lied straight to my face telling me he never said that I know why he didnt want to take it for a test. 30 seconds out on the water, were smoking again, same problem. Oh and this is after he said he would have to special order a fan belt and it could take weeks to come in. My husband found one at autozone for $12 and replaced it himself in 3 min. Long story short Earl did absolutely nothing to our boat. He also charged us $600.00 to install a stereo (that never worked) and a battery separate from the other charges. Pay the money to go to a qualified mechanic, read the reviews. All the other marine mechanics in the area have all heard of quality craft and laughed as they told us that we got took by Earl the Squirrel who also told us that our boat is old and will never just Start right up. Well and behold in and out at a qualified mechanic and our old boat starts right up and runs great.

Our boat had a slow leak and the engine would bog down at times. We called mobile marine to fix the boat in May of 2015 with the understanding we would have the boat back to us for July 4th. Every week from July 4th weekend and on we were told the boat would be finished the next week until after Labor Day we were finally told he could not figure out the problem and needed to take it into a boat shop to get help fixing it. Here we are in the spring of 2016 and we are told the boat is still not completely fixed but he would make it right by not charging us fees to winterize the boat which was suppose to be fixed almost a year ago. But he would be charging us full price for the work and all storage fees for the winter. Again for a boat that was suppose to be back in our possession almost a year ago. We missed our entire boating season last year. This place is an absolute nightmare. Avoid at all costs.
