My experience at this neighborhood Walmart was wonderful Thanks to Morgan a stocker that helped assist me in finding the items i needed for a friend that was sick. Thank you Morgan, you deserve a raise girl. You went out of your way for my friends needs and we appreciate you!

Good place for shopping paid your self quick,to get out, Mosley good prices.

This Walmart is good for food shopping in person. There is usually not a huge crowd of people there. The store is clean and the people who work there are super nice and friendly. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they often seem to be out of a lot of items. I would not recommend using their service to order online and pickup or have it delivered. It has gone downhill drastically. They don’t make the best choices for substitutes anymore and when they do have to make a substitution, they email you and let you know if you are unhappy with the substitution, you can start a return once you have received your order. Plus they started showing up later and later (if at all in some cases) for delivery.

I like this place but it has limited inventory. Its frustrating to me when half of the items on my list are not there and I need to go somewhere else to get the rest. Nevertheless, its the only game in town around me, so Im grateful its there. Always clean, fresh veggies, nice employees, inexpensive gasoline.

They are cheap on gas!! Plus they had a lot of stuff that didnt come through on my online order!! Asia Green is a rock star!!!

This is my to go store after work and I love it! You can make a quick trip and you can find anything you want. There is always self checkouts available! I also love that it has several clearance spots where you can find all kind of stuff at a super cheap price (see pictures)!! The best thing is that you can fill your gas tank at the lowest price around, seriously they beat everybody, gas is always cheaper here, so it makes it the prefect combination for a quick, convenient trip!!!

I enjoy this place. I dont mind the self Check out as a 34yr old. On the other hand, It is very sad to see older people having to bag their own stuff and do all that work along with all the new technology. Not fair to them at all :(

Long lines because people are slow at self checkout. Also customer service closed at 6 when it says 8? I was standing in line for about 20min before what seemed like a manager came up to me to say in a rude manner that the line was closed and kicked me out of line even though there were still people in front of me taking their sweet time. I always come to this location (only because it’s close to home) and the workers always seem to just hate being here and helping customers.

This store is decent but it is completely self checkout which sucks. I dont get paid to ring up and bag my own groceries. Pretty soon the big Walmart Super Center on Precinct will be like that as well. I hardly shop there anymore because of that.

Ok. I did actually have a 5 star review on this. Not anymore. This was a nice place to go. Regular registers and self checkout. Now this Walmart is ALL self checkout! Normally I wouldnt have a problem with that. Were still in the middle of a pandemic, like me I bought alcohol, the employees have to get right in your face to see your ID. The employees are being put in danger and so are the customers. Changing the registers to this layout is highly irresponsible during this time. Yes, I get that I could buy alcohol somewhere else. But this has always been my quick stop for wine for 3 years. Never going back and will just stick to my Kroger from now on.

I went to go use a gift card for gas and the system went down. Not cool

Recently went on 19th of April 2021. Was in line to purchase Fathers day groceries, hamburgers hot dogs etc.... Plus a 6 pack of beer. Our 16 yr old daughter was with us. My wife and I married 21 yrs. Could not purchase beer because of a new rule they have!! What? You cannot purchase any alcohol products while a minor is with you! I am a former Marine and 52 yrs. old. Like what? Is anyone else having this problem? Wont shop here again. Will go to another grocer. Stupid policy.

Dislike having to check out my own groceries. 2 items in one day were questionable (brown expired salad and an opened container of smoothie drink). I feel as if less employees for Walmart to save money will result in a lower quality of shopping experience for customers, even if this is the way they can provide lower prices. Not sure its worth it.

I never have any problems when I shop here. People are so friendly and willing to help..

Possible Safety HazardWhat is this and why was it left leaking and accessible to children?This leaking spray bottle was sitting on the floor unattended next to the interior exit door. When we called it to the attention of two different employees and asked what it was we were told it was insecticide.There was no attempt made to secure the sprayer or to wipe up the spillage even though we made a suggestion that this might be a good course of action. The sprayer and floor remained in this condition for at least 15 minutes while we were there and remained in that state as we left.

This place is so much better than the other location in Hurst. Undoubtedly because its a neighborhood market. They have all the regular foods and even some hard to find foods here. Super clean. Staff is actually friendly. Its a get in and get out kinda place. No TVs or electronics to distract you. Very clean and food is always fresh. Only coming to this location for food going forward

Good small store with a pharmacy. The packaged produce selection is pretty good! Love all the salads and veg. Very limited selection for non-cow milk products but theres usually some version of soy milk in stock. Small store so small number of choices. Wouldnt regularly do all my shopping here but pretty close to the freeway (820) down pipeline if you need a few things. Great pharmacy staff.

This was one of my favorite Walmart Neighborhood Markets to go to. I like how it is arranged, and its always organized. BUT today I went and someone had a bright idea to reprogram the checkout process (there is only self checkout). Even though there is a large place to put groceries after bagging, the computer kept telling me unexpected item in bagging area I had to remove EVERY item as it was scanned. I was using one bag per item. Finally I just started trying to bag in my basket so I wasnt wasting bags, but it was getting confusing to keep up with what I hadnt rung up yet. I sure hope they change it back to how it was, otherrwise I will only be shopping here if I jist 1 or 2 things.

Went to get my daughter her vaccine. I was told on the phone that she could get the shot and they had the vaccine on site. When I got there they told me she was too young and they didnt have the shot she needed. But they did refer me to Walgreens where we were able to walk in and get the shot.

Only disappointing thing about this Walmart marketplace is they funnel you in the entrance and out the exit. Entrance doors wont open if try to exit the doors from the inside. You gotta use the ol manually pull them open.

The 2 lady evening managers are rude as hell. I have only been to this store twice and on both occasions they were rude and very unprofessional. I can promise I won’t return to this location.I will take my hard earned money elsewhere

I used to love this store. Now that they changed all of the lanes to self check out. I won’t shop here anymore. I usually stop and get groceries on my way home from work. But who wants to work all day, then have to bag $200 worth of groceries? It’s cool for the small items or a few things, but when we have to buy groceries for the house it’s exhausting. This was a bad decision made by Walmart. I’ve heard so many people complain as I am checking out about having to do it themselves.

Overall if you go in this store the service is great five stars but if you call to see if they have anything the service is horrible three stars which is my reason for this review I called several times and I was asked to call back and each time I was asked to call back when I asked if they sold that specific product they would just hang up in my face multiple times I feel this is unprofessional this is their job what the freak are they doing

This is a really nice neighborhood market. Better organized and stocked than some of the others that Ive been to.

They changed the set up of the store to self checkout, and the store is so small that it creates 1 long line to checkout. An I do mean long. I usually avoid this location unless Its a must I go here. They usually have the things that are needed though

Awesome Walmart grocers! The order on line and pick up process is nice and smooth! Especially for people who dont have the time (i.e. working long hours, childcare issues, health care etc.) to go into the store and do their shopping. The employees are great, and friendly. One of my favorite shopping experiences.

I love the LITTLE WALMART! For a grocery only store its great. Gives us an option at least. Where i live the closest thing is Kroger and for my family needs WALMART fits better in our budget. The place is most always clean and for the most part the employees are generally very friendly and helpful.

Well, Walmart Neighborhood Market in my local area has now decided that everybody should go through one line and then check out their own groceries. Are the groceries cheaper, no! Do they have clear guidelines that this was going on, no! But we have to live through it because of the pandemic. (Wow, pandemic spell check was quick to pop up).

As of this writing, Walmart has completely remodeled this locations checkout stands, and Im pretty sure this is happening across their Neighborhood Markets nation-wide. And what is it they have done that warrants a two-star review? They have fully committed to making their shoppers cashiers by removing the lone manned check out station. Not only have they done this, but they have also removed the belt-assisted self-checkout stations that were useful for those who had baskets full of goods. To me this represents a sea change in the character of not only the store, but the relationship between customers and the mega-retailer. We have now ALL been cast as minions fore the sake of naked profiteering. Im sure they will try and frame it as part of their commitment to keeping prices low, and adding more convenience but I can assure you it is just another domino falling in the further dehumanization of Walmarts patrons just to squeeze a few more dollars out of every location. The store now has a much more dystopian feel as we minions check out under the purview of more cameras and fewer employees in the store. Whats next, employees replaced by robots? Probably.

Not so crowded as other stores. Good prices and good products. Also the gas station always has the best prices on gas.

Always busy, not enough registers open usually, because of the area demographics the food selections l, especially the produce, is focused on a particular ethnic background and there is minimal selection. Overall its decent. When there are only two grocery stores in your immediate area you deal with it, or drive further.

Walmart management of this location should retrain their employees to make sure that they are courteous, responsible and responsive to customers. Unacceptable customer services. I rarely leave 1 star on Google Maps.

Its fine for little things. its like an 8th the size of a normal Walmart. So thats the be expected. However, I swear this baby Walmart never has any of the normal things it claims to have in stock. Anything I have ever needed has always been either sold out or not stocked. its a little frustrating when its supposed to be a convenient place to go so I dont have to go to big Walmart. But I always have to wind up going anyhow.

If you order something online do yourself a favor and choose another location for pick-up.This morning I had to contact Wal-Mart customer service to request more information about my delayed order.The last email I got from them was on September 2nd saying that my order was delayed due to weather.On the chat I was told that my order was delivered on August 31st and if I needed more information to call the store directly since the store didnt update the information .Dont even try to call they dont answer.I went to the store and I spoke to the Customer Service Associate and provided my order number.She told me after looking in the system that my order was still in transit..Anyway I was able to show her the screenshot from the chat saying that my order was delivered on August 31st to the store.She told me to wait and that she would go to the back of the store to check.After waiting for a while she came back and said that someone in receiving was checking.Associate Nancy came to the front with my order and said that she was not notified about my order as she is the one in charge of the orders, of course she apologized and said she was sorry for the inconvenient.I was not able to sign off to prove that I receive my order as even her could not update the status on the system.So Wal-Mart you need to be more organized on your online orders for your customers.4 days after you received an item and no updates for your customers via text or email is not good business.

This neighborhood Walmart is located in easy accessible location in a nice neighborhood. It stocks most of the items I utilize and is always an easy in and out. Parking is convenient as well. Store is always clean and well stocked.

My local neighborhood walmart and still the best of these smaller walmarts that Ive visited. The selection is obviously limited compared to a supermarket but you can still find just about anything you need here. The smaller size also comes with a lot of benefits. Some, like (usually) being less crowded might be obvious, but the smaller stores are also cleaner and tend to have much happier staff who are consequentially more friendly and helpful.

From the pharmacy to checkout to the money center to the gas station, this Walmart is definitely the best one Ive been to! I come here for everything about twice a week. I love that its clean and someone is always available to help and with a great attitude! I especially love that none of the employees are hovering over you at self checkout like at the supercenter, that place acts like youre a criminal no matter what. The neighborhood Walmart is smaller and obviously doesnt have everything the big one offers but Id rather spend my money here where I know Ill get excellent customer service and Im treated fairly!

The staff in this branch are highly trained and courteous. Their pharmacy staff are so friendly. I shop in this branch every week

Why prices here so much lower than actual Walmart, I have no idea. The quality and selection is far greater as well. Friendly staff...think I need to come here more often...

Since they put in all self-serve checkouts the lines are horrendous. I have been going since they opened but due to how long the lines are to check out now it will be faster to drive somewhere else!

Love coming here to pick up groceries, Cena always takes really great care of the order and sometimes if youre late he doesnt mind keeping them a little bit longer for you. Really love the convenience of the grocery pickup, it is the future!

Not good for me

Emergency exit blocked by 3 carts ( doors going into produce). When cashier Anthony was told that the emergency exit could not be blocked by carts, he angrily replied that is not an emergency exit obviously aware of the fact the carts were blocking it. When I tried to explain to him that the store could get fined for blocking the fire exit his reply was that it wasnt blocked, that people could just push on the doors and move the baskets. This was at 9pm, the store closes at midnight? Why risk a fine and losing business by blocking an emergency exit. It Wal-Mart doesnt want customers using that door after 9, disengage it but please dont put peoples lives at risk by blocking it with carts. While in the parking lot contemplating calling the fire department to explain code to Anthony, we saw Anthony moving carts from emergency exit.

Today was the 1st time a worker standing at the self check out line look for anyone to help me but her. Finally another customer helped. Never ran Across this before . Everyone else isalways been so nice and friendly.

Every time I have been to this location, the wait is terrible, add to it they have taken the actual checkout lines out, and it’s even worse. I buy a lot of groceries for a tax exempt corporation and I have to have a person to enter the tax info... can’t do that on a self checkout.If you’re going to become self checkout only, you may want to drop the prices a bit since the customer essentially works there now...

I went in Thanksgiving Eve and it was very organized and calm compared to other stores at that time. An A+ for this location.

Their computers were down I couldnt buy groceries I have to check out myself and I dont get paid for it it sucks

Have decided to shop at Target. They clean the carts very well before letting the customer use them and the store looks and feels so much cleaner. Walmart has nobody cleaning carts and no wipes available to clean them. This has been going on at Walmart for a while.

This supermarket is always presentable and clean. The aisles are spacious and the layout makes sense. This store also has a gas station, mini mart, and pharmacy. It is located at a convenient intersection not too far from Interstate 820 and Highway 183.

The store has a smaller variety than the main shopping center. The customer service is good. Appreciate those that dont intentionally hide in order to not help. Ill get his name next time.

Convenient location. And much easier to get in and out of now that things have calmed down
