Our family shopped for school clothes for a family of 8! The associates on this day in the morning, were very helpful! Directing us where to find what we needed and offering shopping carts. They were patient and helpful at checkout and even took our photo to share with the family we sponsored. Great help in retail isnt easy to find and they were awesome!

A very attractive store, with lots of space, but not a lot of employees to ask for help unless youre buying jewelry. I did finally track one down and he was very helpful. I found what I was looking for after he suggested I look upstairs.

I love how they have cleaned up and redone this store. I went a bit overboard in the kids section but they even had a clubhouse where my daughter could watch a movie for short term entertainment if I needed to sit for a minute. Great!

Covid needs to go away so we can have access to the fitting rooms. Other than that, this store is beautiful and very neat and organized. I didnt interact with any associates except in the bedding department and she was very pleasant. I didnt buy anything but did enjoy browsing.

Beautiful store. Lots of helpful employees. One lady in a gray striped dress that walked around lent a lot of class to the store.Still good quality clothes at a decent price. But!!!! I do not like plus sizes not having their own section! And I didnt feel like there was enough selection. Maybe because I got tired of trying to figure out were the plus sizes whete.

Bright. Welcoming. Stylish. These are all words I would use to describe the redesign of this Penneys location. What was once a drab, tired, dirty store us now seriously on-trend, with a fabulous coffee shop/cafe, a completely new layout, a concierge desk, helpful, friendly staff, and the best mens department Ive seen at any store, ever. There are even little seating nooks to rest your tired feet and charge your phone!Even the merchandise on display appears to have been upgraded to quality pieces for reasonable prices, instead of the more bargain bin looks of yester-year. This Penneys is now my go-to spot for shopping, coffee, and I even plan to try their revamped salon! Do yourself a favor and pop in for some serious shopping time.My one small complaint is the restrooms. There are only 3 stalls in the only restroom in the store! This is going to cause serious issues during the holiday rush. Put in another restroom, please!

I visit this place on Tuesday morning and everything is very changed .. good selection of jewelry in specials for the gift season .. friendly service ..

This Pennys was clean. Staff helpful. Many great choices in clothes. Love how it is not cluttered with a bunch of junk like Macys or Dillards.

My wife love to shop here for herself and the rest of the family because we find everything we need for dressing, accessories, jewellery, makeup and home goods. $10 off $25 coupon always help us to be within our budget. Besides coupons the store has big sales events throughout the year. Plus they have Rewards program which always bring $$ to our account. The entire staff is very polite and courteous. Store is always clean and well organized. Toilets are always clean and stocked.

After the Collin Creek JCP location closed, I heard that they had this new concept store in Hurst and I decided Id go out there and see it for myself last week. This store is really nice and open, I like the lounges too. I really liked the selection too, especially the home goods which are great quality for the price. Id definitely return here to do some shopping. Id recommend checking this place out too, definitely a really unique store.

Very confusing store. Although there were some really good sales, this store was not like your normal JC Penny. Everything was scattered everywhere. Clothes were on two separate levels, jewelry was on two different sides of the store.

This place reminds me of a JC Penney. The remodel is pretty cool I guess. I think they think that they are going to start appealing to teens and 20s. Thats not going to happen, but it looked pretty nice

This site has their new concierge concept stores. It was very well organized and the layout was nice. The employees I was in contact with were friendly and helpful.Cons: Their fitting room scanner wasnt working and I was wanting to buy multiple different colors of an item once I knew they fit. They were super busy so I decided to go look myself. When I went out to find the items the colors/ sizes listed online as in stock in my store, they were not on the shelves.

2 story JCP with a sephora pop up located inside the building. This department store has been renovated to look cleaner, nicer, brighter, and overall has a modern look to it. Theres some decent diversity in products here, of course everything being sold is on the latest trend. The workers here are friendly but dont bother you every 5 minutes by asking if you need help. I personally like this store but always just pass through it to get into the interior mall.

Wide open spaces. Easy access to areas. Not many employees. Alot less cluttered. I like it.

Went to get my son a jacket, pant and tie shirt in a box. The prices were marked down and I saved a lot of money shopping there. Tina the cashier was friendly and we loved going there.

This Pennys is remodeled and looks great. Itz very open and bright. The people were friendly and attentive and there were plenty available. The dressing room was nice and had a scanner that would allow you to get a different size or color. His deals too. I got 4 shirts and a belt for than $90. Im coming back.

Penny has changed, I have not been there in two years, this place is cleaner and more wide open, looks good to me.

Love visiting this store since their remodel a little over a year ago. Always enter into the mall through Pennys so we can check out their unbeatable clearance sections. Always offering great deals on fine jewelry. Always clean and organized even during peak times and seasons. No complaints!

I only went there for scarf I usually do not shop at JCPenneys because theyre so expensive but I do love their clothes

I love JCPenneys I can always find what I need there and had a great price. I needed a black dress for a funeral and I walked right in found it was there than less than 30 minutes.

Definitely a nice set up it reminds me of old school JCP but Im not a JCP girl as they dont carry my style of clothing or size typically, but I reccomend shopping here for typical juniors clothes and a modest weekend outfit

2 sales people standing and talking with each other seemed quite bothered to assist me with my return item that took all of 30 seconds to process. Hire people that want to work, its no wonder the store is empty of customers.

We were exchanging and returning items. Xariel was assisting us. He has bad customer service and didn’t know how to be polite. I get he may be having a bad day, but showing it in front of a customer makes the whole situation uncomfortable. He got frustrated that the tags weren’t attached to the returned clothes. Now the tags were in the bag, but I guess him having to look in the bag was to much. Then his cellphone scanner that checks prices or in stock items wasn’t working, so he threw the scanner and walked away to find another one. He didn’t say “I’ll be right back” nothing, just walked away. Came back and did the exchange, he was aggressive about everything. He asked if we wanted to use the same bag or get another. He didn’t fold the clothes to but back in bag, he stuffed them in there and they all couldn’t fit. He still gave it to us, clearly the clothes needed to be put in a bigger bag. If he can’t handle a device malfunctioning and hold himself together, then he shouldn’t be working with customer’s, it just makes the company look bad hitting people like that...

This place is so wonderful! The employees are amazing! We went to get our pictures done. We walked into the store and was heading to the area for the pictures when a lady was offering us a nerf kit for the kids. We were already on the escalator so she said to stop by after. While we were waiting for our turn to do our pictures the lady from downstairs had bagged up two kits and sent them up to us. It was so thoughtful! The team that did our pictures were awesome. I will definitely be back.

Good shopping experience. Open uncrowded friendly environment. Seems like more and more Big Box retail locations have zero sales staff available. To buy something is a challenge and people wonder why consumers turn to buying online. This site has available professional friendly sales staff ready to help. Thank you JCP for staff availability.

JC Penny are stepping up their game. Their newly renovated store in Hurt at Northeast mall is pretty sweet! New atmosphere, great experience. Really interested to see how this concept takes on.

I went looking for a lightweight black jacket to assist with these cool mornings. I found something by Champion, but nothing else. Disappointed in the available selections and styles.

This Jcpenney has been recently remodeled and is amazing!! They have a coffee bar upstairs and it is close to the kids section which has an area for the kids to sit at tables and color. The best part is the papers they color are put under a scanner and brought to life on a projection screen for the kids to see. They also have an area for demonstrations on electronic kitchenware, and any type of household items you may not know how to use. Everyone is super friendly and goes out of their way to help you.

The photo center here is fantastic. In and out with great shots in less than 20 minutes total.

I was a little hesitant at first with all the changes, but my wife and I finally got a chance to go and all I can say is Wow!It looks like a new brand! I enjoyed the atmosphere along with the new outline of the store. It was fun just to walk around and look at all the new styles coming in.The staff was also very helpful and kind.On top of that, I found some good deals on flannel and a new Free Country jacket! I saved 150 dollars on 250 dollars worth of clothes. If you havent been, you should go see for yourself!

Always have a nice experience when shopping at JCPenney, the new remodeling makes the experience way more comfortable. JCPenney is one of the only places with good staff and good prices; an employee named amaurie was kind enough to help me and made sure I found all my items I needed. Good store highly recommend.

I am so happy they have a big and tall section. My son is over 65 and slim. Hard to find him Jeans or any type of pants for that matter. Not only did they have his size they were on sale. Thanks Pennys!!!

Closes at 7pm on Fridays? Wow, that’s disappointing. I really like the new design and layout. Feels cool, clean and easy to shop. They finally got away from that stuffy 80’s look and feeling, you know that feeling of mom dragging you along shopping as a kid and bored out of your mind looking at clothes.

Love coming to the Hearst store so bright, and well staged. Hope the rest of the JCPenney stores follow suit.

It’s a newly updated store and is very nice. Clean. Modern. And as a guy, the selection was beyond what anyone else provides without being overwhelming. Checkout was clearly labeled and easy to find

Fitting rooms are closed except on weekends. I support Covid safety measures but opening the fitting rooms exclusively during peak flow times and closing them during predictably slow times is theatrical safety nonsense. Its the exact opposite of a safety measure. You can sneak in to the rooms whenever you want though. They arent paying attention.

First time here since the reconstruction. I was lost. Everything was so different. It was amazing. I love the change it looks more upscale, places to rest your feet from all the shopping. The girl at the womens fitting room offered me a bottle of water while I waited for my daughter. The only disappointment was at the jewelry area. I was looking at earrings and was ready to purchase them. I stood there waiting while the security person and 3 others were just standing next to me just talking. It was after a few minutes of standing there that the clerk asked if I needed any help. I would have left had it not been I found earrings my daughter asked for Christmas. All in all it is very beautiful. Id still go back to take my time to look at all the changes and see all the new things they have.

Amazing new JC Penney. Probably the nicest one in the country. Definitely a must visit. Has a cafe and other new amenities.

The place was really clean & bright. The cashier was wonderful. They are lacking on options. There were very few options for towels in the bath section. Thats what I went for so I was disappointed.
