Terrible customer service. Baristas are condescending. They also have no sugar free syrups and only carry stevia because they’ve hopped on the bandwagon of originality that every other coffee shop has joined in making their “own syrups.” Here’s my bit of unsolicited advice since you all are so keen on it: It’s probably possible to make your own sugar free syrup, rather than being condescending when people ask if you have sugar free. Think of it as a stretch goal.As a note: When I’ve been here before, the coffee is just ok. Not good enough to compensate for the bad customer service.

I have always been pleased with the friendly and quick service here. We keep coming back for those house-made syrups too! With their pandemic safety precautions, they set up the register just inside the door where you can order, and will bring your drinks outside to you when ready. They have a few seats with umbrellas in their little courtyard.

Went there today and loved it! I got the espresso tonic which has espresso, tonic water and chai syrup and it was delicious. It doesnt come over ice but its cold from the tonic water. My spouse got the cold brew with milk and said it was good. The inside is a little small so if theyre busy you wont find a place to sit but they have a cute patio outside. Loved this place! Super small and homey! They didnt have the ingredients on hand to make the drink I requested, which was a bummer. However, the baristas were so kind to replace it with a cortado. Then on top of that they offered me a custom experimental drink. They came back with an espresso ice cream drink (which was INCREDIBLE) because they said their experiment failed 😂. The fact I was offered and experimental drink was really cool in it of itself. The icecream came from a place down the street called Amys I believe. I could be wrong. My wife 😍 got an incredible drink of which I cant remember its name, nonetheless it was delicious! This place is definitely a win. Takes a little bit for the drinks to come out but its worth the time considering the amount of true coffee taste you get. This place is tucked right behind Uchis and is right next to Theos. Definitely check it out of youre in Montrose and need a pick me up or just some serenity.

Southside has the best flat white for a reasonable price. The cafe is no frills and serves both alcohol and great coffee, and it just feels like a quintessential coffee shop. Theres no fancy, gaudy decor or elaborate devices. Its focuses on simply being a great place for coffee or a drink. Its no wonder that, despite the small size, the Southsides seats are always occupied by its patrons, either studying or socializing. This may be the only downside that I can think of, but space in midtown is always limited.

Our party of four came in for a relaxing weekend coffee experience and we all got exactly what we wanted. Among us were a coffee snob, a big-chain coffee fan, and two picky appreciators of coffee; all of us were blown away. Small coffee shop that serves up some great coffee in its many forms (drip, pour-over, cold brew) with fantastic beansThey have limited indoor and outdoor seating which makes for a cozy place for coffee and conversation after a meal either at Uchis or any of other the restaurants nearby. If youre not feeling coffee, they have a small selection of beer, wine, and cider. They have a nice selection of cookies and brownies (some GF and V choices). The staff are nice and welcoming. Its a great place to end or start your day.The only negative is that is can get crowded sometimes due to the limited seating and during summer they change their hours of operation due to the summer vacation lull.

This place is an absolute win!!! I was looking for a quiet place close to Mid-town to get some work done and stumbled upon this gem. The inside is pretty cozy and inviting. The place is not too rowdy, but had a steady flow of customers coming in for their caffeine fix and theres a beautiful patio off to the side to enjoy if its nice out. They also had a variety of coffee. I was there for a while so started with the sumatra espresso in a cortado and had a Yemeni espresso in an Americano to go (which was super cool for me as Id never tried espresso from Yemen).
