Really loved this place! it had lots of really great tea flavors and tasted really nice as well. it was also really cute inside and the workers were very nice.

I like going to Magic Cup Cafe, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The staff was patient, friendly and even recommended some good boba, thank you Bao :) Theres so many flavors to choose from and I love that youre able to request the level of sugar in your drink. This is the first place I have tried kimchi fries and I was amaze they were really good. The place was clean and the decor has a classy modern look (fell in love with their restroom mirrors!)

Our first time in Houston Saigon area. Very nice cafe and friendly staff. Glad they had dine in/ seating in the morning after hopping around a few others. Very clean modern atmosphere. Lots of options on the menu for drinks and snacks. I had the hot black viet coffee no sugar..good coffee. My wife tried the cafe sua da (ice viet coffee w condensed milk) which was on par for flavor. This will be on our list for future revisits when in the area.

Ive been coming here for almost three years now, at least a few times a week. But lately there has been a major decline in not only the service, but also in the quality. Ive looked passed it a few times now, but today I pull in to find out that you guys have raised your prices (again) almost a full dollar from just a few weeks ago. Im sorry, but $5+ for a glass of normal black tea is just ridiculous and frankly seems a little greedy. The shop is small, in Alief and run by mostly teenagers. I cant imagine that your overhead is so much that you feel the need to gouge your customers in this way. Best of luck to you, but Ill be going elsewhere from now on.

Love their frappes! Although $5 for a drink is a bit pricey for me they give you a really good size

My husband and I drive an hour out of the way — several times a week — just to come here. 😍 I will happily sit in houston traffic for this. Please open up more locations!! Amazing service, friendly staff. Just all around WONDERFUL with a great points/rewards system. When you come visit, get the magic puffs, and a pineapple mango smoothie. Or the fruit tea madness drink. Just get everything and come support this amazing place. Thank you guys for being so awesome.

Service is TERRIBLE, they just make you wait purposely. And they run out of strawberries?! No strawberry smoothies?? Smh. They had 2 trays of STRAWBERRIES SITTING there in the fridge! Lol they are completely ridiculous. The vibe sucks now, the employees make it worst. They dont greet nor welcome you there. Dont even bother with this place. Some place else on Bellaire, youll find something way worth your money and theyll definitely treat you better than Magic Cup!

Came here for the first time around 10PM. We were the only customers ordering, our drinks were made iced instead of hot. Thats not the problem, however the barista that made it didnt seem to care and didnt remake it. Someone else took only one of our drinks, poured into a cup and took it into the back to heat it up. They returned to realize the other one was also supposed to be hot and then started to do the same thing. By this time I had been standing for 15 min watching the dysfunction before I decided to leave without the drinks at all.I do not intend on going there again.

Its okay. U just need to wait for ur drink to get ready. At least its real when it take about 10min to make a drink.

Tried this place for the first time, baristas were patient and offered suggestions. They were out of a few things but it was clear they were doing their best. As a kpop fan I love the music choice! Look forward to coming back here!

I walked in the store it’s nice and modern place to relax and enjoy yourself. The drinks were good and the have a variety of options. The only things is they can have a faster service they took 15 minutes for 2 drinks other than that the place is great

Been coming here for years, love this place. Ordered a nuoc Sam today at 10pm. Asked for no crystal Boba and replace with regular boba.Got both for some reason. Need to work on the consistency and customer service. Feels like a McDonald on steroids. Except McDonald is consistent. Lets get it right people!

The teas and food arent really worth the price that is charged. Theyre over priced for mediocre teas and food. Teas taste soapy at times. Ive ordered a strawberry peach tea and it tasted soapy and gross. The peach bits were still a little frozen. The service isnt horrible I see the employees trying their hardest to get multiple orders done but the manager is never to be found except a few times. Their smoothies are really about the only good thing there other than that this place isnt worth it.

I ordered a nuoc sam drink last time and asked to sub out crystal Boba with regular boba, the drink came back with no regular Boba but crystal instead. Today I went back and showed them video proof. The cashier said they never charge extra to substitute. How is that possible because Ive been charged extra to sub every single time. Guess what, on the receipt is a 59 cent extra charge, if youre going to blatantly lie to my face and then charge me the least you could do is fix your last mistake and not charge me this time. Learn how to train your staff better.

I’ve been there a couple times and have enjoyed my visit and the drinks. If there is a wait, just be patient their drinks are great and worth it.I personally love the Chai Caramel latte. I’ve also had the Coconut White Mocha and the Pineapple Strawberry Green Tea with Mango Jelly and they did not disappoint. I also highly recommend the Kimchi fries as well they were delicious. The only drink I didn’t like was their Coffee Milk Tea, but I have plenty of other drinks left to try plus the ones I already enjoy. I hope they keep doing what they’re doing.Side note: Being Hispanic I’m extremely judgmental of chamoy drinks from American establishments, and Magic Cup has done a really great job with their Cha-Signatures. I don’t have pictures of those drinks but be sure to try those when you want something sweet and tangy.

I was not as impressed with this place as I wanted to be. The kimchi fries were very tasty. If you dont like onion too much as for light onion since it came with a lot. The coffee was way too sweet for me.

I came to this location Sept 22 around 7:30ish I tried ordering an the 3 staff members completely ignored me this continued until I decided to just sit down when I finally got to order I waited 30 min my food would not come I walk to the front counter and my food was just sitting there knowbody bothered telling me my order was ready food was completely cold

Im giving it a 2 because they service is whatever. Ive come to this location since its opened this recent visit was a complete disappointment. I do like that they have reward points & will send messeges giving discounts. My only problem is we pay almost 6$ a drink & the effort isnt there. I bought a banana smoothie & it was super artificial no actual banana in the drink, for how pricey the drink is, the least could do is use real fruit.

I don’t normally crave tapioca and today was just one of those days. Did a tapioca run for the family and wow I totally forgot how expensive these drinks are! 6 drinks for $28! Anyway, I called ahead of time to placed my order so hopefully by the time I got there, grab and go. Well it was a few minutes delayed but no biggie. The workers were were polite and kept assuring it was in the works. I ordered 2 milk teas, 2 avocado smoothies and 2 Oreo shakes. Avocado smoothie looks unpleasant to me but my mom and brother likes it. Both my nieces enjoyed the Oreo shakes. Now to me, the milk tea was underwhelming. I specifically asked for it to not be too sweet. But my milk tea was already pre made in a dispenser.. so they totally disregarded the fact that I asked for less sugar! I mean if you’re just gonna premix everything.. what’s the point of hsving a sign to choose your sugar level? Just sayin’ so my milk tea came out super sweet. Which I don’t like. Honestly, I only took a few sips. Literally not my cup of tea.

Great place for delicious drinks and snacks. Their drinks are very creative and many come with real chunks of fruit. In addition, you can also request the typical sinkers like tapioca. I highly recommend trying their voodoo chicken snack.

I like to come here often to chill and do some work. They always have plenty of space & outlets and even plugs for your phones that you can borrow!

Magic Cup is actual magic, or something. The Viet Frappe is probably the best thing I have ever tasted, and if I wasnt afraid of diabetes, I would have one every day! Service is excellent, love that its a drive thru for those days when real pants arent on the menu. If you arent sure what to get, just ask for a recommendation!

All my ice drinks were watered down they have the right condiments but something seems off about the flavor in the drinks the banh mi was great in the other hand the tea was good just the smoothie that was a bit watered down

Great strong coffee, quick service

I got a $2 discount because it was before noon :) kimchi fries were super hard, but had great flavor. Vietnamese coffee was as expected. Garlic Asian wings were yummy. Mango black tea was insanely sweet. I expected flavored tea, but it was like boba tea - I ended up doing 3 parts water one part tea and it was good. Worked there for 6 hours and wifi was great all day. Never super busy or loud, but music was nice chill lounge vibe. Would return.

Drinks are good just very sweet3 years later (as I am still a frequent customer)— I am editing My review because I am not the happiest about this customer service. I order drinks with no ice and pull up to the window as the girl hands me a cup which looks nearly half full.The manager fixed the issue however I don’t think its right to charge customers extra for “no I ce” and a filled to the top drink.

Their boba or tapioca doesnt have any flavor, you cant taste the brown sugar at all. Other than that their drinks are really good and especially the food they have their. I love the environment they have in the dining room as well.

Not impressed. I switched from my usual place at Long Coffee to try out Magic Cup. Waited over 15 minutes to my tea and the “smoothie” was not smoothie- like in texture and it was expensive . I’ll switch back to my normal bubble tea place.

There’s no magic in that cup or anything even closes to it. It’s horrendous. If I want to drink water, I would have done that at home.

I had a green milk tea it was good but it kind of had a after taste like little strong but it was a good drink other than that . Then my husband had a mango drink with mango fruit it was sweet and spicy ; this drink is recommended.

Delicious drinks especially on hot days! The bubble tea was flavorful with perfectly cooked boba. The cha guava was sweet and spicy in a nice brain freezing slushy. I used to love this place but they have careless people working here and these are not the times to be careless. I witnessed the employee making the drinks not wearing a mask. Honestly what was most alarming was seeing this person grab our drink cups by placing their fingers inside the cups which is absolutely disgusting under any circumstance.

I come here often! I love your boba and banh mi sandwiches! Ive been coming here for two years and Im always feeling at home once I walk through the door. Every one of the employees are so lovely. Their Basil Calamari is off the chain! (Compared to Long Coffees Calamari, it is so juicy and flavorful!) Everything about this place is so wonderful, all I want is to watch and witness this place blossom even more! Im very proud of this place and enjoy the experience everytime. Magic Cup is a part of my daily routine and forever will be! The diner is finally open to dine inside, although I have to say that the patio is such a great place to eat as well and let the kiddos run around! (Not mine though, hes too young and runs into the parking lot hahaha). A Rating! Man .. if I could give this place more stars, its definitely deserved. The politeness, the cleanliness, the homeliness, the deliciousness, the professionalism... I recommend everyone to give boba a try!Whats boba? Its a thaiwanese drink with tapioca beads. Mmm hmm! I have always been a big fan of magic cup but recently their quality of drinks are not good and the service is terrible. And to make matters worse they dont even fill up the cups the way they used to so disappointing we will have to find another tea house to go to.
