Love grabbing coffee from this small shop! The staff is always friendly and helpful. I appreciate all of the different syrups and coffee options. The shop is very cute and well lit, perfect for meeting friends over coffee. Ive never had a long wait. The pastries are fresh as well.

Coffee was ground too fine for the French press. Still good music and good vibes. Open, bright and positive atmosphere. Overheard some people talking about ministry and seemed to be a good healthy space to do so. The coffee product itself is pretty good. The pastries didnt look great imho.

I have been here twice and enjoyed the cortado and iced latte. Each time, the service was amazing as well as the atmosphere. Very comfortable and the music isnt too loud. Baristas are kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

Stopped by for coffee and also got a danish. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and courteous staff. The cortado (tried recently and hooked) was aromatic and falvorful. Danish was yummy, too. This is a very pleasant coffee shop and I hope to visit again when Im in the area.

Pura Coffee is a cute little cafe near highway I-10. The service is quick and they are following social distancing by blocking alternate tables. I took a coffee to go so not really sure if they are cleaning the table before a new guest occupies it. And my Flat White was pretty good.

Creamy, smooth, never bitter - a cappuccino like no others. I lived in Houston for 10 years and this is my favorite coffee spot. The location is not glamorous but man, the coffee here is legit. Even an americano has the right kick. I come here to grab a coffee as much as I can.

My personal favorite local coffee shop! The service is always perfect and the coffee is at the same caliber! I typically stick with my normal order and today I thought, “why don’t I add a little bit of mint?” Although they don’t have anything mint focused on the menu, the barista went out of her way to make it happen for me and it’s the best mint mocha I’ve ever had in my life! Thank you for going above and beyond and it’s the little things like this that make my day and keep me coming back!

Finally tried their matcha blueberry latte and it was really good! matcha latte is my thing (and im sure im not the only one) so i was excited to try their drink (feat. blueberry). i like the fact that they use powder rather than syrup for blueberry flavoring. the latte wasnt too sweet so that was a plus. i got it as iced and it was perfectly refreshing for this hot and humid weather to keep me awake!i would definitely come back here since its perfect to catch up with friends, do meetings or just bring a laptop to get some work done. The place is spacious and with covid (social distancing), I really like the open layout. Not to mention, their aesthetic interior!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I do not recommend this place. The coffee is not bad but the customer service is. I asked the cashier if the Kolaches were fresh and she said “Yes, we receive these fresh daily about 6am Kraftsman Baking drops them off” that sure would convince anyone to buy a “fresh” Kolache. I decided to try the kolache & quiche and they were horrible. Kolache was flat, the bread was dry as if it was frozen and defrosted. The “Bacon Brie” quiche was raw crust/dough and the bacon was soft/not cooked. I could not believe THIS comes from a bakery. Fresh, No way. So I called Kraftsman to verify if this they do Kolaches and they do not, The cashier LIED. Confirming that I was lied to just to buy something that tasted horrible is a very bad experience. If you try this coffee place then at least do not try their “breakfast items” do not recommend.

Had to have my Jeep window repaired one Monday morning. Decided to walk to this coffee shop for my morning coffee and to get some work done while I worked.The coffee was pretty good. I had a Flat White and a breakfast taco, which was so so. Later that day I decided to have a turmeric tea latte. They tast was very good, however they needes to either stir up the mix more or not use so much. Half way through the drink it was like thick yellow mud, which got thicker as I continue to drink.The service was fair. Considering that Houstons coffee community is becoming more engaged with their customers, I found Pura to be more like the days when baristas didnt really feel like talking to the customer about their drink. Trying to ask about the roaster and the coffee used for my espresso drink was like a homeless person asking a lawyer from River Oaks for $.25. 😂 Maybe I exaggerate a bit...Over all I got the morning coffee and some work done. But I wont say Ill drive across town for this one..

Really nice place if youre in the Spring Branch area. Parking is a bit limited but otherwise great coffee shop especially if you need to get some work done. They also have a couch if you want a more comfortable place to sit. Overall I enjoyed the service they bring your drink to your table!

Not a super comfortable coffeehouse, but the coffee is worth coming for. Don’t be deceived the good drinks here are not your typical Starbucks super sweet sugar shots. No, they make their chai in house and they not add sweeteners to their espresso drinks. It’s wonderful!

Had my family and I start the day here for my birthday weekend. Tried several kinds of drinks and most notable was the blueberry matcha! I even got a to-go cup of it. Pastries are good as well I would say 4 out of 5 on that. Decent size place and with two separate bathrooms. Parking is available and easy access from the freeway.

Their atmosphere is to die for. i always sit near the window where their logo decal is, and the lighting is perfect as is their tiger chai. the wifi is always reliable, and the baristas are kind and personable. one of my favorite coffee shops hands down.

Tl;dr: they close at five in the afternoon.More words: This is not a place for students to come and study nor for business owners to use as a satellite office. Id opt for a place that closed later. The place looks trendy. The wait staff is pleasant. Parking is a hassle. The seating is adequate.

The atmosphere is okay. It is in a strip mall and you really get that generic feel when you walk in. The cortado has a dark roast flavor, and is a bit more bitter and burnt tasting than I would enjoy.

I was intrigued by their iced blueberry matcha latte so I decided to stop by here on a Friday afternoon. A very chill coffee spot located in the deeper end of a small plaza. The inside was small with a few tables to sit. Less than a handful of people were inside. This place offers a quiet spot that is very ideal to do work or study.The employee at the register was the only person working at the time. She was friendly and my drink was made pretty quick. The iced blueberry matcha latte seems to be their most popular drink. It also comes with two sizes. I opted for the smaller size which was quite filling.The matcha flavor wasnt too strong. You also get a taste of the blueberry. The latte wasnt too sweet or watery. Surprisingly, the matcha and blueberry complimented each other well. Its a refreshing drink to start off your day or even end your day with.

However, my dads blueberry #pancakes are fluffy, fresh and even have the faintest crisp on the outside due to all the buttering of the pan he does. This somehow, some way tastes like his pancakes to me. My beautiful roommate tried it and said it tasted like fruity pebble cereal milk. So either way, youre going to be transported to an era of happiness and comfort. Enjoy 💕 they dont use flavoring for this either. Real blueberries are crushed in with the matcha powder 👍🏻

Coffee was delicious. I ordered a cappuccino and the latte art was nicely done. I went on a Friday afternoon around 2pm and all the tables were full so that alone tells you it’s a hot place in Spring Branch. Not a lot of parking spaces is my only complaint; however, it’s right off of I10 and very easy to get to.

Ive decided to turn as many things into new adventures and experiences as possible. I have been striving valiantly toward this recent passion. So Pura, for me, was definitely one of those things! Oh my gosh its perfectly aesthetic in here and everything was fantastic! I loved my brief visit so much! I was so happy with their minimalist but striking interior design concept. I ordered my very first macaroon from here, a pistachio flavored one, and can appreciate the cost of those things for why I hadnt yet tried one. I also got a flat white in a ceramic cup, and the young man hooked up a nice design. Pretty sure thats par for the course. This is a wonderful decision if youre thinking of stopping in here.

Great little coffee shop with delicious coffee, good selection of pastries, and some of the friendliest staff Ive encountered. The decor was ideal for getting some work done and meeting with a client. The latte I got was delicious and balanced the hazelnut flavor I asked for without overpowering the espresso.

Their iced maple latte was delicious! I loved the interior designing, it was a nice spot to spend my afternoon studying at. Their cheese Danish was absolutely amazing, the bread was flaky and soft and the filling was the perfect amount of sweet! Loved it!

Ok, so I love this coffee shop (baristas are kind, coffee is great, and the location is convenient for me). So why the 2-star review? The place is a coronavirus breeding ground!I walked in to pick up an order (mask on, of course), only to see folks sitting around with their masks off, drinking coffee and reading their books or surfing the internet. The baristas wore masks but didnt have them covering their noses. The air conditioning is running, which makes sense given its Houston, but its also how one sneeze or cough spreads across a room which is why you cant have people lounging around a coffee shop like its business as usual! This is a small place mind you. And the kicker was some macho guy walks in completely without a mask, orders like usual, hangs around after his order, and no one other than me batted an eye.This visit was in the first week of July by the way, well after the mask mandate was in place. I havent been here since.

Consistently great coffee, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service. The ambiance could use an uplift as it feels a bit more like a restaurant than a cozy coffee shop. It will bring you back for the coffee but it may not be your hangout to read a book or work on your laptop.

Its been a while since Ive been here since I dont work nearby anymore. The Vanilla Lattes are as really good and cannot say Ive had a better one in Houston.

Chill atmosphere in East downtown. Solid coffee. The flavor doesnt overpower the bitterness. Small serving sizes. I recommend drinking with a spoon to enjoy for longer periods. Good happy hour with 2.50 Texas beers. Reasonable priced artwork for sale. Never too busy and a lot of comfortable couches to sit on. Good pastries and kolaches

Latte prepared is the best, they know how to cream the milk at the right temperature. People is really nice, a place for someone looking for quality coffee.

Nice enough little coffee spot but you better not need to charge your laptop if youre staying to work. All their outlets are covered! My tea was fine even though I had to request cream. Slightly put off that when I asked about a type of tea Ive never had listed under the black tea heading, I was told it is just a black tea with no particular flavor. Not helpful.

Perfect local coffee shop. The coffee is excellent. We pop in for fresh roasted coffee to make at home every week or so, and the owner gives tips on how to make perfect cups of coffee. He also makes great suggestions on which coffee to try next. Overall great service and a great place to grab coffee and relax for a bit. The blueberry matcha is also a winner.

This is a pretty nice little coffee shop! The coffee is excellent, and the employees are friendly. They also have a lot of interesting European treats to pick from if youre interested, a pretty different selection of chocolates and cookies than youd see elsewhere.I do wish they were open a bit later, though their location isnt the most visible, so I can imagine theyd have trouble justifying that. Theyre just a block away from the Marquee, so considering stopping by here if theyre open!
