We had a wonderful experience shopping for ski boots with Dillan! He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient with us. We were varying levels of skiers but all new to buying boots so we his help was greatly appreciated!

Highly, highly recommend for custom ski boot fitting. I was lucky to catch Bob, a USAF veteran, right before his shift ended, but he was happy to stay and help me out. He took his time finding me the perfect fitting boot. He is a subject matter expert and goes out of his way to get you the right fit instead of trying to sell you the most expensive pair. Much appreciated.

I have been going to Sun and Ski for years. For some reason Ive never left a review. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I do most of the sports they sell, so Ive gotten to know most of the folks there.Id like to do a go see this one guy and hell take care of you recommendation. Though, when I tried, I realized I was literally listing all the employee names, which seemed like the least helpful recommendation.For the sake of brevity, lets go with, Go see Jose, John, Justin, Dillon, or Bob.Bikes, Ski, SB, Run, Hike, Wakeboard, etc. - these guys can help you out.

This store kills! The bike shop has super competent, kind and fast staff. A lot of knowledge of bikes and a wonderful choice of biking accessory and clothes. Definitely my favorite

Love the store because they carry both my favorite brands Cannondale and Haro.

After looking around forever for a bike I finally found what I wanted. The guys there were awesome and helped me out alot. I got an Orbea Loki and have never been happier. I was able to test drive it there in the parking lot (felt wierd because its a commercial center) . Jumped some curbs and rode around for a bit and then said YES! Helped me with the paperwork and everything went smooth. Went back for some tunning after I rode it hard and the guys there know their stuff.

Thank you Sun and Ski for servicing my bikes for the past 15 years, since I was in middle school. Always helpful and willing to spend extra time explaining exactly why certain things need to be done. The current team couldnt be cooler. Keep it up!

Fantastic shop. Found myself in a very tough spot. Could have taken me off the road for weeks potentially months. These guys managed to get me back on the road for 5 dollars and a few trips to the hardware store

Bad experiences about 10yrs ago... But Wow. Changed. 😀 Justin and his crew in the bike maintenance dept are the best Ive had since my local shop closes about 8 yrs ago... Finally found a bike repair group outside the loop that is awesome.

Great shop for bikes, maintenance & gear. They host a friendly ride, Sundays at 8am. Sun & Ski are often seen on training charity rides providing mechanical support at rest stops. They are my choice for my Local Bike Shop.

I ordered a pair of new ski boots from Sun & Ski. They sent me a pair of clearly used rental ski boots in plastic bags. This is unethical. I recommend avoiding their online business, and sticking with a more reputable company. Terrible experience.

JP at the ski shop in the back was awesome! Extremely helpful, started offering me lots of advice, and was very friendly. This man deserves a raise. I will definitely be bringing my skis back for future work. The guys at the checkout counter were also really nice. Great customer service

Bought my first bike and have had multiple repairs done here. Johnny helped me out a lot with choosing my first bike and the rest of the crew did a good job on repairing it. Jeff is one of the mechanics there as well and he also helped me alot with repairing my bike. I would recommend to any beginner or anyone looking to upgrade their bike.

If I have problems with my bike they fix it the people are very expensive

Travis was super helpful in making sure I got the right size snowboard boots. I had last used a different size from a different manufacturer and he got my new boots to fit well in the store. He also made useful recommendations on heat moldable liners. Im ready to hit the slopes. I recommend this Houston location since it has ski/snowboard shop.

What a great experience! I went in looking for a bike on a budget. Spoke with Tyler who I believe is the manager. Unlike other shops, he listen to my needs and pointed me the right direction. During the visit Tyler had to help the front and Justin took over. I have to say between these two and other staff members chiming in with recommendations, you couldn’t ask for a better team to help you! I’m very satisfied with my purchase even though I spent more than what I came in for. I know it was money well spent and I was educated on why. Thanks again guys! I will be back for more.

Johnny from the bike station is the best I’ve ever seen. I am new to road biking and he made sure that I’am well prepared by the time I stepped out of this store. I would definitely bring more people here. If anyone reading this, make sure you ask for Johnny there and you are all set after that.

I was looking for comfortable shoes for running. Chris was there to assist me and help me find the perfect shoes. He asked me several questions about my feet and whether I had any pains. After assessing me, he recommended HOKA One. They are the best shoes I’ve ever had!!! This store has friendly and knowledgeable staff, I will definitely recommend it.

Entering the store, EVERY single employee demonstrated such a high level of customer service. Ken (manager) was so helpful, nice and knowledgeable in the products I was interested in. Anthony (bike sales) was patient and kind when helping us decide on a bike. Jose (cashier) interacted with us so well and his energy was vibrant! I have been to the Sun and ski sports in Katy and Memorial but have NEVER purchased anything because of the lack of enthusiasm and knowledge they show. I will make the 50 minute drive to this location just because the people who work here are totally worth it!! Best store Ive been to and I appreciate how each and everyone cared for our needs!! 5 STARS!

Caught my first flat while on a ride and needed help ASAP. So glad they were open on this holiday (July 4th). John was awesome to work with. Casual conversation was had since I’m a new rider - COVID Rider! Lol. I was able to secure some additional products as well as gain some sound knowledge from John as well. I will be back!!!

You’ll think that it’s hard to find Ski Store in Houston, but Sun and Ski Sports has everything!!! The inventory is big and diversified, the price is the cheapest (cheaper than online stores), and very often they have good discounts. I’m very satisfied.

Major kudos to Mike in the Ski Department I came in today because I purchased some boots online and they didnt fit my calf area. I have large calves and was trying to avoid the embarrassment of renting boots again at the resort (they never fit) so I took the plunge and bought my own this season! Mike was an absolute EXPERT! So sweet, so helpful and he actually took the time to explain things and gave me some AMAZING tips about getting the boots on just right! He put me at ease about my (a little bit embarrassing) situation. Someone please give that man a raise! I will ONLY use this store from this day on for all of my Skiing (and more) needs. Mike, from the bottom of my heart... thank you so much for helping me out today! As a bigger girl (who absolutely loves to ski) its really hard finding people who actually care about your situation. These guys are great, we showed up about 20mins before closing with a used road bike I picked up earlier in the evening to be looked over. A huge thank you to Greg (thank you Greg) for taking the time to help us out. He went through the whole bike told me exactly what I needed and even though they were about to close he serviced the bike right then and didnt make me feel bad about keeping him there a little late. He also took the time to impart a ton of knowledge to my wife and I, and had a really nice convo with us while he worked. He couldve easily told us to leave the bike and pick it up another day but didnt. So, again TY

Huge variety of sports gear to choose from, and a HUGE selection of bikes. They go through great extent to get your road bike custom fitted to fit you properly. The people here are easy to go up to and talk to. They also don’t mind if you ride a bike around their bike section, which I personally think is AWESOME. Great place to go for all your sports needs.

Bought a car luggage rack and Thule cargo box - the staff was extremely helpful, answered all my questions, was able to schedule installation, and most important, their website accurately reflected what was in stock - plus they accept Android Pay.What more could I ask for when browsing products online and then buying in the store.Lastly, they seemed to have a good selection of the gear you would expect to find for the clientele they cater to.

The gear is top notch.... and you pay for it! However, I have returned several times with what are now 7 year old mountain bikes, maybe older, and they provide great service. I had a really bad experience with them when I initially purchased the bikes but they did their best to correct and make me happy. The service since has been stellar and they guys in the bike shop have really taken care of me.....

I went into the store to buy riding gloves walked out with a new bike. Johnny ask to see my bike and I discovered through a bike fit, I’ve been riding the wrong size bike .Johnny, omg is awesome very knowledgeable and patient I traded my old bike for a new faster Masi bike thanks to Johnny my new ride is much more enjoyable to ride really appreciate you Johnny

While Ive bought all my bikes here, that is not what i am giving 5 stars for. So i got hit by a car today while on my bike. Its not just that the guys in the bike shop will work hard to fix my bike, but it was their very genuine concern for me when i told them why the bike was banged up. Not just once, but several times they went out of their way to show their concern and caring. Very impressive and it was greatly appreciated.

I loved the customer service I received from Alex. I walked in about 30 minutes before closing time looking for a Fuji Bike after the location in Memorial City Mall did not have it in stock. He is very informative and told me about the protection plan which I had no clue how it worked because the employees from the other location did not mention it to me. He made sure I was satisfied with my purchase and plan. I am definitely coming back to this Sun and Ski location again. Thank You Alex!

Joey, Stephen and JP are all super helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to the snow gear. They helped me get my step on bindings, took good care of my board maintenance and had great suggestions. I recommend coming here for your snow and biking needs.

Theyve got a new bike manager here. Johnny is a down to earth, kind and generous person with a wealth of knowledge on everything cycling. Ive also had pleasant experiences with the other sales staff there. Their Sunday social ride is a weekly favorite for my training schedule. So happy to have a great shop like this nearby.

F this place. Went here for running shoes, dude tried to sell me extra wide and covered that sizing on the box with a sticker just to get the sale.

My husband and I went to the store to have our ski boots checked. We purchased them a few years ago at the store, but for some reason they didnt fit right anymore. Bob, the boot fitter specialist was absolutely amazing! He was able to make some adjustments with the inserts and its like we have brand new boots. I had foot surgery in the past, and he new exactly where my problem was coming from. I am so grateful he was there to help!

I got a haircut at Alex Burton Salons and needed to break a $20.00 to give a tip to my hair stylist. I went next door to Sun & Ski. The place was empty, two clerks and one customer. So when I told the available clerk what I needed, he said I had to buy something for him to make change. Then I went to the other side of the strip center to The Melting Pot restaurant, without hesitation they gave me the change for the $20.00 bill. I then went to leave the tip to my hair stylist. I dont think Sun & Ski understand that customer service goes beyond making a buck. It makes me ask what else they may be doing wrong once I shop and may need to solve an issue with them. I got the impression if the answer to a concer is no they will not be willing to meet customers half way for customer satisfaction sake.The Melting Pot employee was very gracious. Ill keep them in mind to dine here whenever I come back to the area.Thats what customer or future customer service is about Sun & Ski...

I looked EVERYWHERE from Missouri City to Houston for a long sleeve rash guard shirt... in July. Everyone said they were out of season, summer season. July in Texas IS summer season. After driving to many places that claimed to have them, Sun and Ski was the only place that actually did. They had a couple that worked, so I got them. Thanks for having SUMMER gear IN the summer!!

I just had an extremely bad experience at another shop. Waited on a part for two weeks and the part was not ordered (I called and the guy on the phone did not mute the phone, heard the whole thing). I took the bike to Justin, and not only did he have a part handy, but he was able to get it set up, gave the bike a once-over, and entertained my son while I waited. I will always bring my bikes to this shop from now on.

Had a great experience buying Ski Boots at this store. Bob Lumbard was excellent. He took the time to explain the fit of the boot and was very patience with the whole process. He is very knowledgeable about the fit, how your foot should be oriented in the boot and how they work with the dynamics of your skiing style. I didnt expect this kind of red carpet experience. Highly recommended if you are looking to get Ski Boots and be assured of a correct fit. GO SEE BOB!

Came to westheimer location to buy ski stuff for entire family. ELLEN greeted me and helped me. I read my list to her and she totally got it together for me! Made suggestions on product and pricing. Went to buy gloves for a friend with friend in tow. In this busy store, gloves were found quickly with help from Tyler, a well informed young man who could answer any question we asked. He also worked with us to find the gloves that fit her exacting, health driven, needs. Blaise, who checked us out, was just as informative and helpful. Ken, the manager, was great to talk to when we met with him to share our pleasure at being treated so well by his team.My friend uses crutches and cant stand for long periods. Luckily they had a bench in their shoe department and, as she had to wait an extended period for me to show up, she was never asked to move. While this doesnt seem like much, it was.

Ask for Bob for ski boot fitting! Getting new ski boots is painful--Ive had pain under my arches for years no matter the boot. Bob was excellent and helped me with inserts and wedges to help reposition my feet in the boot to alleviate the pain. This store also have a great selection of skis, boots, and bindings.

So my toddler was gifted a bicycle on his 2nd birthday and when i decided to set it up there was missing parts went here and the guy was super super nice and the store manager was very welcoming and in within seconds i was out the door PLUS i was charged no feeBless these Kind Humans!

Rayne did an amazing job! We had previously been to Sun & Ski Sports for ski clothes but had never experienced the level of service as we did with Rayne. He was very friendly, cordial, patient, and knowledgeable. This experience will definitely bring us back!

I purchased a Haro flight line. The bike rides really nice. Unfortunately there is something wrong with the gearing. Out of the store every gear slipped. I brought the bike back and they readjusted it. Which fixed it for about an hour. Now only some gears slip and other gears make a metal on metal sounds.Normally I buy cheap wallmart bikes for half the price, but they break down within a year or two. I thought this was a higher quality bike, but I was mistaken. I’m returning the bike in the morning, as the problems are getting worse and driving back and forth from the store is not worth the hassle.The wallmart bikes are cheap, but at least you know what you’re getting.

I just bought a haro bike about a month ago for about $510.00, they told me this bike has really good reviews and that it was a durable bike, it was the 2nd time I used this bike and it breaks while u was riding on pavent, I took it too this sun and ski and the guy tells me that it was customer abuse of the bike, I havent done anything too the bike other than just ride the bike in pavement ( cruise around), not sure if it was their mistake on the beginning (not adjusting it right) bike breaks squealed and the chain skiped, but save you time and money, dont buy from this place. I I left my bike with yall too fix it, hopefully I wont have any problems after that.

This was my second time at the store, I’ve never experience anything like this . I was walking around the street nobody asked to help . I asked a young lady and she said someone would come, nobody came . Three employees were just talking amongst themselves and nobody help . Poor service

This is a great store great location. I have 1 question if I went in there to take my break of waitressing and I was there for a total of 2 hrs and 20 min and all I did was sit and fall asleep would I be told to leave.

This was the best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Walked into shoe department Mike asked if he could help and it just got better from there. We got the boots which isnt ever easy my husband has very particular taste. Didnt fase Mike he brought out boots till we had the ones he wanted. Next we inquired about gloves he took us to that department got the gloves then where taken to the hat department. We thanked him for everything were so impressed ask who we could talk to to let them know how great he was. We were directed to Ken who was very nice and thanked us for brinhing this to his attention. Best shopping trip ever. Will defineatly be returning.
