Bagel and lox special was very yummy. I also had the foggy bottom cold brew and it’s now my new go-to order.Very comfortable to sit and work at or enjoy some coffee and reading.

Today I grabbed a latte on my way to work and it had a burnt taste (not the first time) I tried to drink it but I couldn’t stand the taste so I threw away the $7 drink. I decided To call and let them know so other people don’t have to have a bad coffee to start their day. Worker laughed and responded sarcastically when I told them about the burnt taste. Definitely won’t be wasting my money there anymore. Over priced and Poor quality coffee, poor service. A lot of other better quality coffee shops around. Mahalo

Seriously my favorite cafe EVER! Local Joe has excellent coffee and scrumptious food. I love indulging in a Royal Hawaiian Mocha and a Carlito’s Way omelette most of all! It’s the perfect pick me up combo. The tasty hot sauce and fun latte designs are extra perks. The artsy vibes and delicious aromas add to the overall ambiance of this local hotspot. And it’s open 7 days a week?! Definitely recommend!!

Local Joe is my favorite coffee shop in Honolulu. The coffee and food is delicious and prepared with such care and the staff is always delightful. Charles, the owner, is always so friendly and if you are lucky enough to become a regular he somehow manages to remember your order even though he has so many regulars!!! Please try this place out!! You wont regret it.

Comfy little cafe tucked away for you to stumble upon. The food here is so fresh and delicious, and they offer great coffee options. The best part, you can have them transfer a photo of your choice to your beverages foam! I got such a kick out of this service! I will definitely be coming here again soon!

What a great breakfast burrito 🌯. It had spinach, ham, tatter tots, eggs, and goat cheese (or was it feta? Not sure now). It would be a great way to start every day with one of these. Then I added the ramekin of guac sitting in chili oil. That was soooo good, I wacked rest of the burrito after that. Somewhere in the middle of the i remembered to snap a pick to show whats inside.Stop by and grab a in house roasted brew and some food. If you walk by and look in the wrong direction you can easily miss this place.

I live down the street, and I’ve been here a few times. Usually we just pickup coffee and bring it home. Today we decided to sit outside and the service was great. Employees are so nice and chill. Amazing food and drinks. Beautiful view of the ocean from outside. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent breakfast burrito with secret hot sauce that is to die for! It was the best breakfast burrito I ever had (and I lived in California for 10+ years!). Good coffee. Food quality and service have rapidly declined. 30 minute wait for a breakfast burrito that was dry,flavorless, and made wrong. Showed the waitress it was made with ham versus turkey bacon, she was insistent it was bacon. I know what ham looks like.

This is the first coffee shop I’ve found near my work in Chinatown and they have a great selection of baked goods and healthy lunch options. I haven’t had the coffee yet but will be back to try the Manoa Chocolate Mocha.My co-workers swear by their quinoa and other salads, as well as their wraps and sandwiches. I caved in to the hip foodie trend of the moment and got an avocado sandwich topped with egg - then further undercut any healthy benefits by adding bacon to it. It tasted as awesome as it sounds - even the next day.

Happy to start my day here everyday before work.

Excellent coffee! The hot latte and the iced Vietnamese coffee were great. Moderately priced breakfast food as well - two thumbs up for the croissant sandwich.

Super friendly staff get you when you walk in. Theres a lot of good food to choose from (I went in the AM) and the coffee is fantastic.

Pretty standard and higher priced coffee compared to the other coffee shops I visited in Oahu, but they have a neat little machine where they print whatever you like on the coffee. From a taste and price perspective I was a bigger fan of Lion Coffee which is nearby.

We found Local Joe on a whim, and Im glad we did. The cafe has a very nice atmosphere with live plants and classy decor. Being a person who doesnt meat and who also really enjoys a nice, fresh (GREEN) plate of food, I was pleased to learn about their Buddah Bowl and Power Wraps. These dishes are so healthful and tasty. It was stated that the rice in the Buddah bowl is wild rice, however from my experience with wild rice and black rice, whats in the bowl appears to be and tastes like black rice. It was all so good! The fresh mamake tea was great as well. The owner is personable and very knowledgeable in the area of coffee, and the other staff was friendly and helpful as well. My husband and I hope to eat there again soon. We and our two young daughters would love to try some dessert!

Wonderful freshly made food for Vegetarians in Chinatown. I have a shop around the corner and have a hard time finding something I can eat. Their Buddha Bowls are just great, so fresh and tasty. And Charles is so accommodating, he made something up for me. We all love this place, the food and the service is outstanding.

They have a really cool coffee ink machine that makes a custom design of your choice, or you can choose from preselected templates they offer.The lox bagel was tasty & so was the almond latte.Really appreciate the guys behind the counter with their help & patience as I figured out the app. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful food and staff

The coffee is roasted on the premise. The organic omelette cheese and bacon had been baked and came topped with avocado. I was able to have the omelette with out bacon. The house hot sauce was definitely to my liking. Will visit Local Joes next Friday and try some of their vegetarian breakfast options.

Love this eatery!! The breakfast reminded me of those cafes you find in San Francisco. Its a small Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for the fur babies. I had the Organic Scramble with Provolone, 🥓, and 🥑 made to perfection! Husband had the breakfast burrito that was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Coffee is delicious and their almond milk latte to die for. Owner Joe and the staff are always friendly - they recognized us after being away for almost a year. Great place. Pumpkin Pie Latte was good with a nice artistic image over the foam.Not a good place for a quick bite of breakfast. We got both the ABC bagel and the breakfast burrito. The ABC bagel was premade and overly salty.The guava pastry was really good - soft and filled with sweet guava.

Is there anything better than sipping that cup of coffee while enjoying a classical music in a calm and serene place? It’s a none for me. Nobody compares to the feeling I get every single time I visit this coffee shop and enjoy their coffee drinks and the sides. The servings are all equally amazing and its people are also awesome because they serve with their happy faces and approachable manners.

Excellent coffee (really excellent coffee!) and they have a COFFEE PRINTER!! It prints images on your foam using coffee ink! You can upload pictures to it, create an image or use a stock image! Makes it harder to spoil the image by actually drinking the coffee! They dont have a lot of food options but their omelette is artistic as well as very tasty and their tuna melt was excellent.

$20 for a coffee and a breakfast burrito. Coffee took 20 minutes to make at 8am. Barista gave me the wrong food, and forgot the milk for coffee. Coffee was a french press, didnt burn, but the special roast tasted flat, stale and underwhelming. Staff seemed to make the orders out of order, prioritizing familiar faces.Coffee was hot, burrito was good.Wouldnt recommend thou.

Had an absolutely superb cup of dark roast coffee at Local Joe today. I have traveled three continents, I drink black coffee daily, and and though I may have had an equally good cup at some point Ive for sure never had better.

Great Coffee! You can buy their house blend in the bean which is a mixture of various beans, including Sumatran and sometimes African. It is a delicious offering, about $12 per half pound bag and, unfortunately, it is addictive.
