I called to make an appointment for 7 am at this location. Turns out it’s on a military base and they would not let me enter for my appointment because I am not military personnel. It would have been nice if the person I called to make an appointment with asked me if I was military personnel or not so I didn’t have to waste my time driving there just to get turned away. I hope you fix this problem so you don’t waste anyone else’s time.

They will try to dupe you into getting repairs you don’t need. Either don’t go there at all or just don’t listen to their advice when they try to scare you into spending a bunch of money on unnecessary repairs.

They do good work. I mainly go to this firestone for safety inspection and oil changes. Of course, the safety inspector is not always available, so its best to call ahead and set up an appointment.Update: Since COVID, the chairs in the waiting area changed to three (3) individual chairs that are six (6) feet apart. There is no more water dispenser and no more keurig k-cup coffee machine.

I have a screw in my tire, and need a quick repair patch. They close at 7:00 pm, so I rush to get there by 6:30. I pull up, explain the situation, and I am then told they have no technicians on the clock. They are open for another 30 mins, but cannot provide service??? Completely unprofessional!!! I recommend going somewhere else. I know I will not be coming back.

Good one stop service point for your car. Alignments, tires, routine oil changes and lots of mechanical possibilities.Plus you can get life time servicing on alignments, and much, much more!

Never taken my personal car because I have my own mechanic, but we take our Government vehicles there all the time for regular maintenance. Friendly and fast service

This place sucks! I made an appointment to get two new tires installed and rotate the back ones to the front. A 20 minute job I could myself at the auto hobby shop across the street.I told the guy at the counter I had a work meeting in 1.5 hours and he said it would be no problem having it done on time. Its been 15 hours and my vehicle is still on the lift. NEVER coming here again and I recommend you stay away from the Firestone at Fort Shafter Flats.

Ive gone there twice requiring some minor assistance... like my bumper needed to be tied up. I didnt know how to add more coolant. Dont know much about cars. I saw 2 different front desk workers. They both helped me free of charge. I truly appreciated it and apologized for being so naive. They are so friendly!

The first time I came to this location I needed new tires. They said they had tires in stock but that was a lie. Turns out they had to go and get them which delayed the original turn around time by three hours. However, I figured that was a one time thing. I decided to give them a shot at changing the oil in my car and even made a Appontment at 2pm. I showed up 10 minutes early and was checked in. I was given a hour turn around time to change oil and rotate tires. Here I am a hour and a half later being told it will be 15 to 20 more minutes. This is the worste Firestone I have ever been to. The fact that the Army allows this to be on a base is negligent. I’m just waiting for them to come tell me they found something else wrong with my brand new vehicle. While waiting in the lobby I also had to hear the phone go off over 20 times while two employees talked right outside the door. Go somewhere else!!!

Good luck getting in to see the mechanics. Never have availability. Even when you do get an appointment they keep your car for 5 hours just to do an oil change. I had my wifes rear shocks replaced and it took them a whole weekend to finish it. I have no idea how this place received 4 stars.

I drove to fortshafter Firestone after I took my wife to work at hickam A. F. Base. I pulled up, went inside and asked for a oil change. They told me that I will be served now with no appointment. Boy I happy about that.

Customer service is poor. Employees at the counter have no people skills. If you have no knowledge of vehicles, prepare to get taken advantage of. I overheard a conversation an employee had with a lady who dropped off her car and was fed over $1000 worth of issues that the dealership didnt find.. i find that hard to believe. Personally i dont trust this place but its convenient and i do my research before I go.Good luck!

I had my Hawaii State Inspection there yesterday. I also requested they install a new set of four Bridgestone tires. All those services came off without a hitch. They wanted to sell a tire alignment badly it seemed. I told the service manager my car had within the last 10 days received an alignment from Honda the OEM. When I picked up the car and received the documentation I saw that they had done the alignment check anyway. I wasnt billed for the alignment check but its clear that the state inspection is a way to bill for more services.They also give out bad information when making recommendations for additional work. Honda recommends timing belt replacements at 100,000 miles, this Firestone told me it was every 60,000 thats a lie. They also recommended spark plugs at every 60,000, but if you use Honda OEM spark plugs its 100,000 miles, again a lie. A self serving lie, but a lie nonetheless.

Here is place just tire check.Never recommend other maintenance.Auto parts is really 2~3 expensive than online or oter shop. And they say military 10% discount. It is really ridiculous ~~
