This is my ratchet review!Every month a go to this same location to purchase a money order using my debit card. Every month for the past few months Ive had zero issues with using my debit card, until today. I ask for a money order and Im asked if Im paying cash or card. I tell her Im using debit and she ask for my card and ID. She tells me to wait a minute and takes out her personal call and makes a call. She speaks Spanish the entire length of the call and then hangs up and tells me her manager said I cant use a business debit card to purchase the money order. I asked why and she couldnt give me a reason, so I requested to speak with the manager. The cashier Maria disappears to the back office for a few minutes then returns and tells me I can use the same business debit to complete my purchase. So I tell her I still would like to speak with the manager. The manager comes out and speaks with me in perfect English and tells me she has never dealt with a business debit card situation and couldnt give me a reason as to why I was asked for ID and was initially told I couldnt use my card.I dont know what kind of establishment you guys are running, but I do not appreciate a cashier using her personal phone to contact God knows who while hold my drivers license and debit card in hand. Secondly I dont appreciate being as for ID for a pin transaction. I would like a follow up on this situation along with some accountability for the actions of your cashier Maria E.

I drove from miami to Fresco y Más in Hollywood get get oxtails. The had a great selection. Store was clean and had everything i wanted.

For the love of god! Stop selling bad meat! I had two occasion where I buy meat, I defrost it and it smells like death! YOU are losing customers. I am not buying meat from fresco anymore that’s for sure.

Customer service is the worst here, in particular, the meat department. Careful asking for assistance or asking a simple question such as the availability of a type of meat. The response you will get in return is with attitude (rudeness) and dismissive. It seems they don’t care about making a sale (profit$$$) when a customer is willing to pay for the product. Obviously, customer service training is required in this store.

Seafood dept needs to get it together. No one wanted to assist me. When a customer approaches you do not runaway you help.

Good overall. Some great prices on sale items. Its clean and orderly. The employers were nice. Ill go back. It doesnt carry a great variety of cheeses or delicacies but then now I know what i wont find there ill go elsewhere. Also, they didnt have plantains which I thought was strange since it is geared towards latin culture.

Employees are no longer required to wear a MASK. And some dont. I was disturbed at seing an employee at the Deli slicing ham, and cheese without a MASK on. So, I stopped going to shop there. At SEDANOS they are still requiring employees to be masked. Im going to Sedanos to do my shopping.

It was a pleasure shopping in this store as it had a ginormous selection of both American and Caribbean products. The produce were fresh and affordably priced. The store was clean and well kept and the staff were courteous and helpful.

Low prices and friendly, quick service make target drive up groceries a no brainer. There are none of the added instacart fees so I save money with every shopping.

I usually go to the cafeteria in the back for coffee or pastries. I always get attended by Julia and she’s absolutely amazing. She’s always super busy but takes her time w you and is gracious and super kind. An amazing person and great service

Its an okay place I dont make a habit to shop here often but a friend wanted to stop to get some items that were on sale, so I obliged. Its clean the cashier was friendly and helpful, even if she was the only one working the cash register but she was very efficient.

Fresco y más has really good quality food and the prices are decent. When it comes to Latinos supermarkets, it is my first choice.

Clean and pleasant place for shopping, it also has a good selection of prepared hot food to go.

Its a great store, but they never have a lane for people with 10-12 items. The customer service area has a sign for 5 items only, but they also take Lotto, money orders, cigarettes, and other misc things they do. No supervisor to look into this. At least to place someone at one of those registers across customer service on those rush minutes, so people dont have to wait the long lines.

It was clean, but not it naff open registers

Customer service is terrible, they had no shopping carts inside and when I asked an employee he said there outside in the parking lot go get one? Really! So I had to get a carry basket which was heavy with all the items I had, plus a gallon of milk! Then at the deli I just wanted 1 item and had to wait while a customer was ordering many things and walking away and coming back and forth! Really? When I asked the deli employee if she could just get me 1 item of cold cut that I needed she said she couldnt.. plus there where 2 other employees behind the counter doing what look like nothing,not right or fair. I spoke to a couple of very young managers and they had no clue.. The only reason I went there was that I was nearby on my way home. I wont be going there again! My advice to this fairly new supermarket is, you want to be around like Winn Dixie was or Publix? Customer service!!

Located in the Hollywood Festival Plaza, Fresco y Mas Supermarket, which means Fresh and More, (formerly was Winn-Dixie) is large and clean with organized aisles which are visibly labeled in both English and Spanish. The vibe in the supermarket is very laid-back. You can find such things such as produce, beer & wine, grocery, frozen items, packaged meats, baby & pet care, health & beauty, etc.; as well as various departments such as butcher/seafood, bakery, and a cafeteria where you can get hot prepared Latin foods. There is a slight similarity to Winn-Dixie, but Fresco y Mas offers more traditional Hispanic prepared foods, produce, products, and familiar brands for Latin American cooking at affordable prices. Things like tres/cuatro leches, flan, Cuban crackers, maltas, malanga, plantain/yuca chips, Cuban/Puerto Rican bread, and many more.

For the most part its okay, they really dont have the best selection of meats & they are not always fresh looking. *ALWAYS LOOK AT EXPIRATION DATES! THIS STORE IS THE WORST FOR EXPIRED ITEMS!

I happen to love this stores prices, However during this pandemic this store has stayed going downhill i walk in the store to get water and they have absolutely no carts. I walk and ask a man where the water is and hes goes on a hunt for a cart while he was stocking the aisle mind you there is like 2 ppl in the front doing absolutely nothing there is no reason a customer should have to hold a pack of water . this was today at 7pm manager leos excuse was everyone takes the carts. There is always a solution to a problem order the lock carts or loose customers

Fresh food attentive employees.

Really beautiful supermarket extremely clean huge Isles and an assortment of Cuban and American food like I havent seen before. They also have freshly prepared food in the back by the deli that is absolutely outstanding!!! Not-to-be-missed its very authentic Cuban food!! I highly recommend it! I eat there at least twice a week. And tell everyone to know about it. I really like this place and you will too :-)

Fresco is a great place where you can find a wide range of Latin products. It is very clean and organized. The prices are very competitive and the customer service was very good. I am inclined for this store rather than Sedanos so far. I hope they are able to maintain the same level of quality.

The Fresco y mas located on Taft St started nicely, but eventually went downhill. The meats are not the best ones, neither the veggies or fruits. The store is run mainly by a whole bunch of rude kids, including the young female managers. I feel like Im the in the backyard of a high school. There is only one young man who is a manager that really does a good job, but rest need to learn some manners and be more customer oriented.

This is my Favorite store all the products I like and their brand at great savings. The meets are always priced well so with all the pluses I prefer to do all my shopping here. The stsff is always friendly and courteous. Produce is always fresh and ill bet local. Either way priced right. Thanks guys.....

Pan white corn flour is a very common staple in my house hold and is used quite often. Found it here for 2/$5. Great deal since 1 is usually $3+ and more depending on where you go. Ill be back to check out more deals.

I was impressed with the appearance of the stor walking in the store is very clean. The items were very reasonably priced. I was surprise. Most items on sale or special pricing with their reward card. The store is conveniently located in the same salon where I get my nails done.

I would have given this store location a 5 star 🌟 however, the prices arent really competitive with similar stores. Another reason I chose to elevate a star 🌟 is because one of the associates place a bad box of mildew velvetta cheese 🧀 back on display to be sold even though it was clearly marked as a return and a X on it, this prompted me to open it and I noticed that it had been partially opened and contained mildew. I also had to return a bag of chicken 🐔 because is to had been opened and were freezer burnt.

Fresco y Mas is part of the Southeast Grocers chain, which includes Winn-Dixie stores. Yes, it is like a Latin Winn-Dixie: the store carries many of the same store brands, but also a greatly expanded selection of Hispanic and Caribbean products. The store layout and cleanliness is superior to that of the Bravo store in the area, and the customer service is what you expect from a Southeast Grocers store, albeit sometimes a bit slow. Parking is plentiful and easily navigable.

I gave my sister a ride there last night and decided to look at the frozen foods. Oddly, nearly none of the price labels of the chicken or fish matched the items that were actually on the corresponding shelves. Everything else seemed fine, though.

Very clean and tidy a lot of bilingual employees which is very helpful for all types of communities. The Deli and Meat Department very clean very organized meat didnt look nasty and sloppy. One of the few frescoes that you will find that the music isnt blaring. The music is loud enough to enjoy but not irritating. Bathrooms alone I would give them an A+ for keeping them nice and clean doesnt make you cringe at the thought of using them. Overall I give this Supermarket on a plus.

We come here mostly when they have meet offers. Mee quality its acceptable for the price range and its certified. One of the butcher its supper nice. The other its super slow. But still good person :)

I just bought wings that are supposed to be good till the 22nd. They stink. Be careful buying meat here. The people have charged me too much money at the registers on more than 2 occasions. Ill stick with buying canned goods here if by chance I absolutely need to go here.

Fresco has a good supply of vegetables and fruits at an affordable good price. Their supply of vegan products aside of Gardein and Morning Star in the freezer is limited, i.e., no vegan cheese products of good quality, or vegan processed burgers of good quality in their vegan aisle area. The selection of good wines is limited also, and they do not carry creamed whipped honeys. They cater to mainly Spanish customers, and a lot of products oriented to Hispanics taste can be found there. Cat sandbags are less expensive there. Also condiments. The staff, mainly Spanish, seem to be friendly.

It is a supermarket with low prices food. Clean and the produce is fresh. Ample parking.

I love shopping at this place especially when they have their sales their sales are what makes it worth it to shop there you got to keep your eye on with the chicken comes on sale and the hamburger comes on sale at boneless skinless chicken breast theres some of their Deli items come up to like $2 a pound for ham and for Swiss cheese and the stores maintained that it stays pretty clean and they have one aisle in the middle thats like Everythings a Dollar in this one aisle so thats pretty cool so you can find the sale items I havent had a complaint about this grocery store since it opened well they first opened they had nobody in there they spoke English nobody but they sense change that so I have been able to find people to help me without getting frustrated so thats a good thing

Yesterday was my first time. Not bad nit it would be nice and common sense to advertize that in order to take advantage of their good prices you need to have a card from them. I have like 12 items that was on sale and I had the budget for it. When I get to the cashier it was almost double. I asked why and the guy at the cashier answered me with an attitude, Sra. Si ko tiene la tarjeta tieme que pagar el precio original. I was in shock thst he didnt even offer me o told me how to get one. Luckily the lady behind me offer him her card to scan so I could get the sale price. He scanned the card but never suggested me how to get one. First and last time.

It ok if your looking for some good prices but rather shop at the other grocery stores
