Love this cute Sephora shop. The staff is friendly and you will definitely going to enjoy your cosmetics (some brands arent available).

Love this Sephora! The staff are so friendly and so helpful. They are really knowledgeable about the products and have always helped me find exactly what I’ve been looking for. Although this is a smaller store, the quality of the staff makes every trip a stellar experience.

One of those shops that make you feel like you are an inconvenience being there. I remember someone picked out a foundation for me and the skin tone was way off 🤣. I always leave the shop feeling like 👎

I went there on Friday 6/25 and Maddie was super helpful and friendly.The reason Im giving this location 4 and not 5 stars is because she is the only staff member Ive interacted with that was genuinely friendly and not just polite in the years Ive been going there

Great friendly service. They thank you for wearing your mask as soon as you walk in, give you hand sanitizer and have other measures to make you feel safe. They have a wide variety of great products and had a few sales. They offered to buy online and ship free too the house if interested for something they were out of... Outstanding.

Worst customer service at the register. Girl wasn’t wearing her name tag or I would put it here. Also tried to charge me for a foundation exchange when I wasn’t returning it only changing the shade I needed. Needless to say won’t be returning they didn’t even color match correctly. Will stick to Newport where my service was better.

Very COVID conscious! Limited amount of customers in the store, sanitizer available on the way in/out, and an associate will assist with trying any products. There is a great no-touch policy.Store is well stocked with all your skin care/make-up needs! Not to mention the staff is friendly and helpful.

Todays experience at the hoboken sephora was great, everyone was super helpful and friendly and they are following protocol

First visit after re-opening. The staff informed me of all the new regulation due to the pandemic in the most respectful way. Eventhough we are not able ot test the samples directly on skin, Kia helped me choose few new favorites. Thanks for the great vibes!

Greeter was friendly but that’s about all that was positive.the store only had one of the 5 products I was looking for (I know its a studio but their inventory was lacking nonetheless). No employee offered to help and I was only 1 of 3 people in the store. Also, I waited at the checkout counter for over 5 minutes and no one came to the register. Finally just put the one item I got back and left. Gonna stick with my Manhattan store from now on:)

I love this Sephora! It’s easy to get to without having to go to a mall and the customer service is great 👍. These girls are very nice and very willing to take their time with you. I love this place ❤️

I love shopping at Sephora, but this location had the rudest person I’ve ever met at a store. Avoid shopping at this location if you don’t want to meet a negative person. Never going to this location ever again.

The staff here are pretty nice. I wanted to return some products which are sold online only. I went to sephora in mall first and they refused to return them for me and asked me to return by mail by myself. When I came to this store. The staff explained the reason why they don’t accept patiently and helped to call and return by mail for me.

Some make-up is better than others. Sephora is the best.

Every sephora is different. Some hound you at the door. Others ignore you entirely. The Hoboken location strikes the right balance. Staff is helpful without being overbearing. Its the most convenient location for me and Ill definitely be returning.

Smaller than your normal store, but bigger than the Sephora youd find within a Macys or big department store. Has your regular selections including all the travel sizes.Employees are very attentive and helpful. I came in during the last few hours before closing and they were busy, but still made time to assist, provide samples, complete my refund, and verified that I hadnt picked up my bday gift for the year. What great service!I do want to note that I heard one of the employees talk about how she hates all the parents with their annoying little kids. Does make me want to refrain from coming back.

Please is great and amazing. I came in to exchange my foundation I picked up G50 cover fx and needed a lighter shade one girl helped me and told me I needed darker 0.o I said I need G she said I’m not G I’m P60 she put it on me and I do now once foundation sets it’s a different shade and well it was much dark and I knew so I went back and she was still there and was trying to sell me an ever deeper foundation to have a bronze look 🤣. I got G40 in cover fx and it fits perfectly so good thing I didn’t listen 😉

This Sephora is a nice location with very helpful employees. Most of the times I have visited this store there has been someone available to help me immediately.

A great addition to Hoboken! Its in a busy street of Hoboken and its large windows allow natural light which help in choosing the correct foundation and concealer shades.I only wished this Sephora had a large range of items - especially their fragrance and skincare.

Bad experiences at this store have outweighed the good at this point. First time I shopped there, woman at the register seemed annoyed, like she couldn’t be bothered to help me. Pushed the bag towards me with no eye contact.No greeting,smile, or thank you.Yikes. Then very recently the store manager took a little too much pleasure in telling me I couldn’t return something I bought online since the policy suddenly changed. Like she caught me trying to trick the system. She informed me she was the manager then pointed to her name tag with a smirk, like she was daring me to complain. Also, everyone follows you around the store bugging you every 3 seconds. Listen, I’ve worked in luxury beauty retail for over 10 years and have never treated anyone like this. I’ll only shop online, stores like this ( Ulta included) are not the place to expect good service.

This sephora is always tidy. However, Im not sure if none of the sephoras carry shiseido in-store if this particular store is missing this brand.

Ladies were welcoming and offered a sample. Ill be back

I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it. The staff is very friendly but actually very pushy. I came in with someone who needed a few minutes to ask questions. I spent the time looking around, but every 15-30 seconds one of the staff would come up to me offering to help. I would politely decline, and most would say a few words reminding me that I could ask them for help and move on, but some kept on trying to get me to buy something. Eventually I had to wait outside on the sidewalk just to be left alone. I am used to being able to wander around a Sephora store without being hounded like I am at some sort of timeshare presentation.

If youre coming to the Hoboken Sephora to purchase the same great products that every other Sephora carries, dont waste your time! This location does not carry Clinique, Lancome, bareMinerals, or the perfume sampler gift packs. What a complete disappointment after months of anticipation waiting for this location to open!
