Terrible Product and Customer Service with No Follow-throughJust over 3 months ago we took our sons framed college football jersey to the UPS store. It was both packed and shipped to him by the UPS Store. It arrived severely damaged. The shipping box was smashed, the frame broken and the glass shattered. Needless to say, we were all both surprised and upset by this occurrence. In the past we have been very happy with the service provided by the UPS stores. This time however, from the beginning of the process until now, has been anything but positive.As soon as we learned of the damage, we immediately notified UPS and the UPS Store and filed all of the paperwork they required. In addition, we sent photos, estimates for repair, and receipts for the packing and shipping, as directed. My wife spoke to a representative at the UPS store several times about this and after not getting her calls returned on several occasions, finally learned that the person who had been handling this was no longer at the store (apparently he had left weeks before she found out he was gone and while she was still told she was leaving messages for him that would be returned). She then was able to get in touch with the owner of the store and explain the situation to him. Again, nothing was done. After some back and forth with the owner, she was told that there was some problem with determining who was responsible for making things right; the individual store or UPS corporate. So while we again waited for this confusion to be resolved (something that we strongly believe we did not belong in the middle of) nothing has been done. Recent contact with the store has resulted in nothing but more excuses.Starting to get increasingly more frustrated, and wanting to avoid escalating this into becoming a legal issue, we reached out to UPS Corporate on social media. And they actually responded...at first. And then, as before we have been met with nothing but silence even after more emails to the person who contacted us.To say that this is terrible customer service, both by the individual UPS store and by UPS corporate would be a gross understatement and we wanted to make sure that others are aware of the lack of care and respect with which UPS treats its customers! Needless to say, we will not be using UPS again and will make sure that all of our friends, family, and contacts are made aware of this so that they can make their own informed decisions about whether or not they want to support a company that appears to care so little about their customers and about doing what they say (and are paid) to do.UPDATE 5/2/2021 This message was also posted on the UPS Facebook page and they took it down. I guess yet another example of how they view and treat their customers

Everyone was so friendly and courteous. I took my elderly father to get his car title notarized and everything was terrific. They were very efficient and thorough. We had the title notarized, had a color copy made, and sent it with a tracking number all in about 7 minutes. Everyone had masks on. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

One of my worst customer service experiences ever.I had a 58” TV that needed to be shipped to TX. I went to UPS looking for professional service regarding this matter. I packed the item in the original certified box (BCM), using extra protecting material (dividers, cushions, etc). I took all the care that was under my knowledge to protect the package. I called the store 2 days before sending the item to ask for guidance and they just said even though they discourage people from sending TVs, they would handle it. Two weeks later the TV arrived completely broken, screen shattered and useless in a poorly treated box which was delivered by one person (This box states that it should be handled by 2 people) . I placed a claim to UPS, which was stated as “complete” and sent to the shipper, who did not contact me. I called the store manager and they dismissed my complaint. They just didnt care about me as a customer who trusted them with a sensitive task. They didnt issue any compensation either for the lost item nor the shipping fee.Dont place your trust on these guys with your valuable items, they lack the skills to handle them. They are not even professionals or customer service oriented people.

Zero concern for their customers packages and mail. The older me staff members are very rude and condescending. I had a $300 drawing display screen delayed 4 times! I called for help, because I had it rerouted to this store. The man who responded could not have cared less. He was completely unwilling to help in any way to get answers to my questions. He told me to call Amazon, which I did, but they told me to call UPS. Now, after being delayed a 4th time, my package cannot be delivered to this store? And no one answered the phone when I called. Awful customer service. Incompetence is an understatement.

Matt has absolutely no customer service skills and is someone who either needs to check his attitude or not work In a customer service environment. He made it very obvious he hates his job and doesn’t want to be there. He was rude, short tempered, and impatient. I’ve never felt uncomfortable being in a store before today, he actually made me feel bad for even coming in. That’s just what I need after waiting outside in line for over 30 mins. I come here every other month or so and everyone has been great except him, so if I happen to get him again when I stop by I’ll be asking for someone else.

Great staff, friendly, personable and they definitely work hard. One minute the place is empty and the next 5 people are in line all at once and they try to help everyone as fast as they can without taking away from the quality of service. I laugh at the impatience some people have, if you ask me i think the busier a store is means its doing something right! Keep up the good works guys!

Let me start by saying i have had nothing but wonderful customer service from this location. However, the wait time is a little ridiculous. Its understandable that the store is taking all the right steps to keep us safe by limiting 1 person in the store at a time but it may be beneficial to have an associate step outside the store to grab drop off items only, so people arnt waiting 30 plus minutes just to drop off a package that is ready to go. Again, i have nothing but good things to say about the team and store but it may be worth trying other methods to help the flow of those that actually need to go into the store for longer periods and those that dont.

They went way above and beyond for me today! I had missed all the other locations pick up times so I frantically called this location because theyre open later. The owner, Bhavesh, took my package information over the phone, had what he could ready for me when I arrived, then gave me exact directions of how to proceed for my best chance to have my expedited package put on a truck so it could arrive the next day in California. Not only that but he also called the hub directly and they were also ready for me when I pulled up after arriving there with no time to spare before the last tuck left for the day. Incredible! His passion for what he does shows in the way he operates his business.

I received a call from the manager/owner of this store because there was a couple of times the store was closed before stated time: he apologized & said that if I could remember the date that he would check this out because the store is never to be closed before the posted time. I have never had a problem with this ups store, and they have always been great. I just wanted to share this because his sincerity, and concern that this happened showed me that it was not his fault. I would recommend this store to anyone! Thank you!

Ive been to the UPS store at Hillsboro to ship an highvalue item to a family in CA. The way Shawn(sorry if i took the wrong name) and Bhavesh have handled the entire packing, shipping was tremendous. They ensured that the item was shipped overnight and hand delivered to the recipient . The best part is I got a call from Bhavesh once the item has been delivered and ensured that it was handed over smoothly. Really appreciate you guys handling this. Thanks again guys !!!

I needed pack and ship service for an infant carseat. The Bethany location quoted me over $300 for JUST the shipping and werent nice about it, either.I decided to visit the Tanasboune location afterwards, where they cheerfully boxed it up for me for $114, including shipping, insurance, a box, and packing service.Everyone here was super nice, super helpful, and super attentive. This will be my go-to for shipping now.

I cant recommend this UPS Store location enough if you need something packed and shipped. Doug, the Freight Services Manager, was so helpful when it came to packaging a $30,000 stoneware jug for us. If you need to ship something thats expensive or sentimental, you cant go wrong trusting these guys. They know what they are doing. Thanks for the great service!

I came in at the edge of closing in order to mail a package. Ashley was in the process of locking the business doors as I was pulling up. When I told her that I had a package that I was hoping to mail today, she was willing to stay longer to help me with my package. Not only did she stay longer, she provided me with the best customer service Ive ever experienced at a UPS/USPS/FedEx; she went to great lengths to make sure that I was getting the best value for needs and was not hurried, even though it was clear that she was staying late to help me out. I will be coming back here for my shipping needs in the future (and well with-in the business hours next time!). Thank you!

Great service! Had a 28 page document I needed to fax and FEDEX quoted $56 while this UPS store offered $25. Not only that but they gave me a free copy of my documents because the original pages were too thick for the fax machine. They then made sure the documents got through while I verified over the phone the other side received it. I will be coming back here again whenever I need something faxed.

I brought a box of gifts to the UPS Store, which were to be mailed to London first class and provided all the information necessary to ship my package. I paid $87.45 to cover the postage plus the UPS fee. Five days later, my package was returned to me five days later because the ups store failed to follow the guidelines for international shipping to the UK. So I had to take my package to the US Post Office and reship it. Consequently, my gifts to my son and his family will not arrive in time for Christmas.

To avoid upcharges of fees use the UPS 7325 NE Imbrie, Hillsboro, OR location as they operate across the board as banks and credit unions. They are a 4.9 stars rating. Also, USPS is cost effective as well.

The slowest store and inconsiderate staff. I stood in line for 25 minutes. There were two guys helping customers and one had a customer who was wrapping her packages at the check out counter. If someone comes in without wrapped packages, they should not stand at the counter and hold up the line. That is absolutely ridiculous!!! Once it was my turn I went to the other guy and he said he was taking another customer who wasnt standing in line. Seriously?!?! No apologies for wait time and just really unfriendly customer service. Will not be returning to this location and have advised others as well.

Terrible customer service from Matt. My friend and I were sending gender reveal gifts and not to say anything because I do not know the sex. My friend showed him a picture of what was inside so that I did not hear what is inside, and he straight up said so girly things. When we specifically said its a surprise and not to say anything. He didnt even apologize or address it. He was also very short tempered and rude, just terrible customer service.UPDATE FROM RESPONSE: With all due respect, you had helped us for 5 minutes before you had left. You are right, it was nothing YOU had done. I had not seen the picture. Just a glimpse, but I did not know what was in the package because I could barely see the image. After you had LEFT, it was Matt who helped us and was the one who blatantly said just girly things, when there was no need to say that. He could have said, candle, treats, etc. not the color of the items when he knew I did not want to know. He gave us no apology and was very cold to us.

I have been using this store for a couple of years, a few days ago I bring a box (pretty large) for a return item. The box is pretty large and I have an hard time carrying it. In the attempt to open the store door while carrying the box, it fells on the floor and a corner open up a bit. I pick it up again (please note no one has even attempted to help me, not even the 2 boys at the desk) and move towards the desk. I mention that I need to drop this box off for the postal office. A tall skin black guy look at the box with an upset face. Then he tells me that they do not handle this type of return. I tell him that they actually do since I have done it before many times and without any issue. Then he tells me that he will not take a box that is open laterally since it would require too much tape to close it. I leave the store carrying out the heavy box and go to the post office in 185th. They close the open corner with a small piece of tape and take the box without any issue.The boy clearly did not want to work and had no respect for a woman clearly needing help with an heavy item. The other guy at the desk was clearly new and did not know what to do, felt sorry for him. I will never use this store again.

This store is absolutely the worst to go through. On February 1st, 2019 I took them a package to deliver to Italy. This was a very important package for my business. I was told it would arrive to Italy in 3-5 business days. It arrived on February 7th. It took until feburary 21st for it to clear customs. Okay! It’s now March 7th. My package still hasn’t been delivered. This store (Doug Walker) specifically has been negligent and very unprofessional in the way of taking care of my delivery. All said and done this will cost my family over $2,000.00 to ship. That’s fine but we’ve had about $0.02 worth of VERY BAD service. I’m never using this company again. I will be doing whatever I can to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Do your Job! Deliver my package!Some things Doug will do - is have employees lie to you and tell you he’s not there when you can clearly hear him talking to them in the background.He will tell you he will follow up ASAP on things and get back to you but trust me you’ll have to keep trying to contact him. If things go south he’ll try to avoid his customers.He will put blame on others instead of apologizing for mess ups and working hard to make things right for you.This mess up has cost us more money than the over $2,000.00 I paid to ship. Don’t make the same mistake I’ve made.

Printed a label, paying $1.5, just pulled out a card and the UPS lady asked to pay by cash, i paid $5 and complained again why no $1 bills or 50 cents. Is it customers fault want to pay by card? I dont bring much cash and got blamed?And she even refused to give me a drop-off receipt.She said you can take photo yoruself on the shipping label, and then track the packageWhat a bad service ever!!

Needed some things printed on very short notice for a presentation when my printer died. Walked in, and they had it printed for me in minutes. Reasonable price, excellent service. I go there all the time. I would recommend them to anyone in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area!

Went into this location this week to print off a prepaid shipping label. The employee behind the counter charged me $2 for that piece of paper I emailed to the store to print off. $2!!!! I called another location(Imbrie) to verify this price they told me at most it should be 10¢. I did question the employee about the high charge for a piece of paper, he assured me it was correct. Disappointed in unethical staff you have employed, will ship my packages at another location from now on.

This location has terrible customer service and you should avoid doing business with them if you can. If youre in dire need of a UPS store, I would recommend going one additional freeway exit (Cornelius Pass exit) where the Hillsboro store (located on Imbrie Drive) location. Its not that much further to drive and has much better customer service than these folks.Here is my experience. I dropped a USPS package off a few days ago and it never arrived at the intended location. Obviously, UPS cant be expected to track a USPS package - however, I simply wanted to ask them if perhaps the package was laying around somewhere in a corner of their store and maybe did not get sent out. This seems like something that could logically happen and I had a suspicion that there was an issue with the USPS label that printed because it wasnt showing up on the tracking system. I sent an e-mail to the store to inquire about the package and after 3 days had not received a response to my inquiry.Since I had no response via e-mail I contacted the store during business hours to inquire about my package and whether or not it may have gotten tucked away somewhere in the store and not sent. The person (Matt) who answered informed me that those packages go out daily (which didnt answer my question). His answer was immediate and without concern. He didnt check around to see if he could find the package and he didnt ask a co-worker if something was set aside; he immediately said No, those are sent out daily and its not here, meaning there was zero possibility there could have been a reason it wasnt sent.I honestly have no idea what happened to the package, but I cant say with confidence that this UPS store did their due diligence to make sure my package didnt somehow get overlooked. Im a long time customer of UPS and UPS stores. I even have an annual P.O. Box at the Hillsboro location and highly recommend them as a company in general, but I cant with good conscience recommend anyone use this location with the experience Ive encountered so far.

I have a mail box here and ship frequently including pre-paid online shipments. Store clerks are all very friendly and helpful. They dont mind either the large amounts of pre-paid shipments i have going back and forth as well. customer for about 2 years

It is very bad service. When I rent the box, they said a lot of good words for their service. But everthyig done, they do everything bad to my package. They lost package and they refuse the package of my po box number. It is very expensenve sevice fee, but it has so poor service. I mean it should be changed the owner and the serice guy. I do not know what the boss think about the service. I never see them smile to customers. what a bad thing here. It waste money and time use this service.

I go to UPS regularly to print and ship. This was my first time at this UPS and it was the worst expecience Ive had. I was charged three times the amount that Im normally charged to print things and I was there for an hour while their computer malfunctioned. Usually, it takes 15 min tops. I will go out of my way to never go here again.

What a rip .. The employee was great but they wanted $75.00 to ship a 6 lb box back to the original shipper In Georgia .. The item was only worth $85.00 and cost $6.00 to ship it to me thru UPS .. These stores are a total rip off and a disgrace .. If you decide to use them, they need to put red hand prints on the counter for you to put you hands so when you bend over and they screw you .. Pathetic ..

I had a painting, framed behind glass, that I needed to ship. The staff here took great care in packaging my painting ensuring that the glass would not break in transit and the painting would arrive safely. It did arrive safely, and it arrived four days earlier than I expected based on the initial estimate! Im very pleased with the team at this The UPS Store location and will go back when I have another piece of art to ship!
