Very bad experience today by staff members, we had appointment and waited there almost 40 minutes and then they took my daughter for eye exam and within 10 minutes, one of staff member came and told us, they are canceling our appointments . Really very disappointed . I would not recommend anyone.
I waited to write the review because i saw a lot of eye doctors in my life since i was 18 months old and now im 31 years old and pretty much blind till one time one of customers his name David saw me set close to the monitor and told go this place and they might help .I thought first i been in many vision clinics in the US and back home and every time i get the same respond thats the best you can see i said lets do it one last time .I went there and i meet Dr. Ward he literally change my life i can see better focus more i become a different person and on top of all that i got the best service with the nice and knowledgeable staff .Thank you guys so much i really appreciate it ❤
Dr. Ward is absolutely incredible! I have been a patient of his for nine years and never cease to be amazed at his talents for dealing with my very tricky eye prescription. I have been fitted with scleral lenses, glasses, and prescription sunglasses over the years and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have found a doctor who is willing to take the time to fine-tune the prescriptions so I am able to see 20/20. His bedside manner is wonderful and I actually look forward to going in for appointments!
I brought my nephew in for his first eye exam and also scheduled an annual exam for myself. We were greeted, checked-in, and assessed efficiently and professionally. Dr. Le was kind, thorough, and patient with my nephews many questions. We had a great experience overall and enjoyed the impressive fish tank while in the waiting room as well!
Been there a couple times and every time I had a truly awesome experience. Dr. Ward is extremely knowledgeable and that whole staff makes you feel at home. I love coming there just because I feel like I can have fun with the staff and I know exactly what is going on with my eyes. Love that place! Also Haylee the tech is super nice and easy to talk to!
Everyone needs to take their business to Highlands Ranch Optical! Im 30 and dont remember my life without glasses so Ive dealt with many different optometrists offices. This is by far the best! Their shop is amazing! It is very clean and looks amazing! My kid loves the huge fish tank! More importantly is their staff. From the front desk to picking out my glasses, everyone is soooooo helpful and friendly. Everyone seems so knowledgeable I know that are helping me make the best choice for me. Ive been seen by both their doctors, Dr Ward and Dr Hendricks, and both wont let you leave without making sure you fully understand everything about your eyes. Their tech is like nothing Ive ever seen at any other office and their selection of frames outclasses anywhere else! I will never take my business anywhere else! Keep up the great work everyone!Tommie :-)
No issues with my exam, Dr. Ward was really good and found the correct prescription for me. However... I cant say as much for the staff. After my exam, the person fitting me with my new frames, talked to me so condescendingly that I thought about canceling my order right then and there... I should have taken my own advice! For it took them almost 2 months to get me my new glasses because they ordered the incorrect lenses for the frames. Then... after accidentally dropping, scratching the lenses on my glasses, I went in for the one-time scratch replacement. After 2 weeks my lenses were in, and again, they were the incorrect lenses for my frame. After another 2-3 weeks, the lenses were ready, and yet again, they didnt fit my frames. After another 2 weeks the lenses were again ready, and this time they fit! But then they broke my frames putting the lens in! Are you kidding me?! They were able find me another frame that fit my lens and as I walked out into the sun, I realized they they didnt order the transition lens, which I originally paid for. I decided to just live with the non-transition lenses because I can only take so much incompetence and terrible customer service. No matter what job you do, you should be prepared to come to work and do your absolute best. And if this is the best the Highlands Ranch Optical has to offer its time for me to find another eye doctor. Fortunately, there are many, many other eye doctors out there who, I am sure, would love my business.
Very professional from the minute that I walked in the door. I was greeted immediately and got signed in. Dr. Ward gave me a thorough check over and I ended up getting a new pair of glasses. The selection of the glasses was also very easy and there was a great selection. The connection to my insurance provider was also seamless, great!
I really wanted to like them... love the smaller shops and supporting the little guy, plus they had gotten good reviews, so I thought this would be a good fit. However, this has been the most unorganized and most time consuming experience I have EVER had with any optical company. The amount of energy and effort I have put in to just get my contacts has been insane. I have had to call and remind them repeatedly to order and ship my contacts because it just hasn’t happened. Just dropped the ball on so much including when I went to pick up trial contacts (multiple times because my prescription was wrong) more than once I was given the wrong ones and would then have to make an extra trip to pick up the right ones. Between all the extra trips I had to make because they made mistakes and all the reminder phone calls I’ve had to make, it’s just not worth my time. To give you an idea of the length of time... my eye exam was on October 2nd, it is now December 19th and I STILL do not have my contacts. I won’t be going back.
Dr. Ward is great and very caring about overall eye health. Office staff has some improving to do. I have never had an issue and they previously had provided first class service. From calling to inform you when glasses/lens were in to making sure all your needs were addressed, it was never a thought. During my last visit I had to call weeks after my appointment to check and see if my trials were in and when I picked them up they didn’t ask about the full order/glasses/or give instructions if I had an issue. I have been a patient @ HR Optical for almost 10 years but now thinking about a change.Update- After reading some other reviews about HR Optical I realized I needed a lens follow up (which was never mentioned when I picked up the contacts). Called and spoke to Tony who was very informative and helpful.
I have been going to Dr. Ward for several years. He always has the best equipment, is timely, and has goes the extra mile to ensure your eyes are healthy. He recently had to do extra exams on my left eye and found an issue that Im now seeing a surgeon to get repaired. I always feel like Im in the best hands when Im there. Thank you.
Dr Ward is a fabulous dr. Our family has been coming to his office for the past 10 years and have always been happy. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly. He is always up on the newest and most cutting edge technology while still advocating for cost effective treatment. I can’t say enough good things about this practice and happily recommend Dr Ward and Highlands Ranch Optical to anyone in the Highlands Ranch area.
I was prepared to give a much better rating but wanted to wait until things were completed. Im glad I did. Dr. Ward came highly recommended from the eye doctor at Target that had just done my glasses. I have a problem with my eyes and he thought Dr. Ward was best to go to for my contacts. First of all - I want to be clear - it was my choice to go to Dr. Ward. After my appointment with him, I spent over $1,200.00 for the fitting and contacts. When I went back in to get them, they didnt fit and I didnt see any better than I did when I started. He checked the fit and was going to make adjustments. When I expressed my disappointment, he offered to give me my money back. I told him I just wanted to see. I felt that paying that much I should be able to have better results. He agreed. So he then went a step farther and was going to refer me to a specialist to make sure I dont have a cataract in one eye. He said he would wait on any adjustments on the contacts until then. I waited to hear from either his office or the specialists office. After a few days when I didnt hear from anyone I called Dr Wards office. They said someone from Dr Wongs office should have called me. So they would call them again and I should hear from this person that day. Well, I didnt. I also never heard from anyone from Dr. Wards office. So after another couple of days I called his office and told them they can keep the contacts - theyre no use to me - and I wont be coming back.As a side note - even the eye doctor from Target that had referred me to Dr Ward had taking the time to call me - and NOT his office person - to see if I had gotten in to see Dr Ward and was getting taken are of. How amazingly different the customer service and follow through is.
I was skeptical at first with some of the bad reviews but my insurance went through them so I decided to try it out and I just wanted to say I got a opposite experience. Doctor and assistant young gal and front office gentleman were kind and friendly and his office had lots of stuff for my little child to keep her occupied. I appreciate that. Thank you kindly for you services.
We used Dr. Ward for our 9 year old daughter’s ortho K contacts. He, along with his entire staff, is fabulous. Very patient, competent and highly recommended.
I have previously used this company and they were okay. I went in today with two prescriptions (one from an optometrist and one from an ophthalmologist) as it looked like the axis was quite a bit different on the prescription and do not understand the axis portion of the prescription. The sphere and cylinder where pretty much the same but the person I talked with stated they were completely different since one had a minus and the other prescription had pluses. They are not different as an ophthalmologist and optometrist right their prescriptions different and it is concerning that people who work at this store do not know that.
I have been taking my kids and myself here for almost 6 years now and I always have a positive experience. I appreciate all of the staff and how hard they work to make each experience enjoyable.
We have been clients at HR Optical for over 7yrs. In the last couple years we have noticed a lot of change in the personal and unfortunately not for the better of the business.I have a billing question and struggling to get a return phone call. Todays phone call prompted me to post a review. I asked for a return call and the person on the phone told me someone would call back sometime but.... its their busy season.
Always a unique selection of frames to choose from! Also, excellent customer service and eye care. Thanks, Dr. Casie Headrick and team!
In my opinion, there is no better place to go for eye care in Denver. They have an amazing selection of glasses, and the staff goes out of their way to help you. The doctor really took his time to educate me about my options and did the most thorough exam I have ever had.
I just got back from my eye appointment at Highlands Ranch Optical. Dr. Cassie Headrick was very professional, fun, informative, really knows what she is doing. I really felt like she listened to my concerns and came up with several solutions to see what would best suit me. It was so comforting to feel like youre in great hands of those who care and want to remedy your concerns. Thank you everyone there! From the girls at the desk to the very nice gal that took new back first, so sorry I forgot her name...to Dr. Headrick and the nice gal that checked me out. I appreciate all of you!
Great friendly prompt service! Everyone was welcoming and aimed to please and satisfy the customer...nice clean office in a quiet location with a fantastic fish tank to view and enjoy as well...
After my husband’s LASIK surgery, he experienced some devastating vision problems, including extreme ghosting and terrible night vision. Dr. Ward has truly been a life saver for my husband and for our family. We live in Salt Lake City, so we drove 8 hours to visit this office and it was definitely worth the effort! Dr. Ward and his staff are FANTASTIC. They truly cared about us and our situation and showed so much compassion. They treated us like family and we spent a fair amount of time laughing with Dr. Ward. On top of the amazing people, they have the latest technology and were able to get my husband fit with a custom scleral lens to help his vision problems. We can’t say enough good things about Highlands Ranch Optical and are forever grateful to Dr. Ward for his kindness, compassion, and expertise. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Horrible customer service. No call backs and very slow service. A huge disappointment. Good luck if you need any after care.
Dr. Ward and the entire Highlands Ranch Optical staff are incredible. My family has been with this office for close to 2 years and have had great experiences every time we visit. Our needs have ranged from eye exam for our 6-year old, contacts, glasses, sunglasses, and LASIK.I attended one of their monthly events last year and bid on the LASIK silent auction item and won! For $801 I had LASIK from Omni Eye Specialist, with all of my post surgery visits with Dr. Ward at Highlands Ranch Optical. Normally this procedure costs thousands, and I was able to have it done for a small fraction of the actual costs just by attending a fun social event. If you are looking for a family friendly, luxurious office, with knowledgeable staff Highlands Ranch Optical is the place to go.
Everytime I come here they have a problem with my insurance. No one ever returns calls. The employees are not friendly and have no idea how to talk to customers. I would never reccomend this place
Awesome staff friendly helpful
My entire family (3 of us have glasses/contacts) goes to HRO and weve had nothing but fantastic service!
