Says they should be open until 5pm on website and 6pm on door and looks like no one came back from lunch. At least leave a note saying gone for day. Got 3 people here waiting to get serviced. Ridiculous.
I found the Highlands Ranch location to be quick and easy. The installer was very courteous and knowledgeable. I talked to several other customers who said that their calibration stops were usually done in 10 to 15 minutes.
Great place!! Jonathan was super nice. The install was quick and easy for a push button car. I was maybe there a little over an hour. Waiting room has a big desk to sit at. This was not a painful install at all quick and to the point.
Took 45 mins to do a 10 min celebration that takes 15 mins at all other shops. Do not come here! You are better off going to a different one it will take you just as long
Dont plan on doing anything else for the day. Or, plan on accomplishing nothing for 1st day and trying again on 2nd day. I arrived at 12:30 in a Monday, conflicting signs for Lunch hours. Its now 2:00, still no one around. Called Smart Start 800number, no help. Still have no clue if the download will be done today but it doesnt look good.
They are helpful and detail oriented. Plus the tech is cute, so I like going to this location.
If you need an interlock, this is the only place i would recommend. Best service, beat device, easy place to work with.
I usually dont come to this one and thank goodness for that. I parked to get my calibration and some guy comes out yelling at me to go park up front. Heres an idea, put up a no parking sign if you dont want people to park there (where you park to get the monthly calibration done). Extremely rude. I just left. Ill go to one where they are nice. No wonder why this one has such a low rating....Adios!
The people that work here are friendly and efficient at their jobs. Sometimes there’s a wait for a calibration but that’s to be expected. A lot of these reviews are bias because obviously there’s an underlying factor here technology and technology isn’t always reliable.
This is a great little spot to get a calabration. Johnathan was super nice and offered me an option I did not know was available. I am very happy that Johnathan was there, he explained a lot to me.
So, its Christmas Eve and I go to get my car loaded. The sign says closed from 1 to 2 for lunch. All good. I come back at 2 30 and the sign says open. I tried the door and its locked. I Go Wrap around back to the did the bay doors and theres a guy in there. He comes to the door and says hes closed. Hes a complete a******. I asked him why the sign says closed from 1 to 2 for lunch and I come back at 2:30 in the sun on the door says open and hes not going to take care of me when I need to leave town. This place sucks.
Smart start installed their interlock 9 days ago into a brand new ford focus I purchased off the lot. Yesterday the vehicle didnt start while I was stranded in a random parking lot because of a faulty installation. I spent 4 hours waiting to talk to a live person and attempting to troubleshoot the interlock over the phone. Im not too happy that Im having to pop the hood and disconnect my battery to work on a brand new car with temp tags still attached. Sure enough my car still doesnt start after 4 hours, so they tell me I will have to tow the vehicle the following day at my expense when they are open. I missed work yesterday and today and now my own job is on the line... I Have paid 150 for towing.... I have spent hours waiting to talk to a live person and the technician is now working on my brand new vehicle that has had interlock for 1 week. Iam not c0nfident whatsoever that the tech is touching my brand new car now. He tried to blame it on my brand new vehicle just now for the reason it wouldnt start. He said my battery was bad because he couldnt start my car. Well, i just jumped in and started it in front of him and all he said was oh thats odd. I hate to be a jerk and I actually feel bad for the technician in a weird way. But this guy is working on my brand new car? What else is he touching and might be compromising? He obviously is not a mechanic and much less doesnt know how to start a push start car. But I feel its smart start responsibility to properly train employees. Whats frustrating isSmart lstart does not have supervisors you can call to directly talk to and state your concerns, and you are essentially left to figure it out on your own with a fat tow bill and missed work. This is a terrible company and I highly suggest not using this company. Hopefully I still have my own job when going back in today
This place is always a mess. Just fyi they arent closed from 12 to 1 for lunch, its 1 to 2, and they arent open on Saturdays anymore. Some of the people who work here are nice but not always
Came to drop off a portable unit and got to the facility at 12 oclock p.m.. Door was locked sign said CLOSED. Lunch sign says 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.. I came back to the facility at 12:45, the sign said OPEN and I was able to get inside. However they turned me away because they said they were going to lunch at 1.I understand that people need to eat, but people also need to do their jobs and facilitate their customers. Im sure returning the unit would take all of 5 minutes, but I was turned away 15 mins before lunch time.As a business of this nature, they dont have customers that are from off the street, so unfortunately youre just a number.. having such a language barrier from employees and lack of compassion for you as consumers, cultural differences that put customers out the way in such a way they have is intolerable. They have stolen 2.5 hours of my life Ill never get back.
Terrible place to come for any reason. The young kid working the desk had no intentions to help us, and told me to push my 3500lb SUV to the front of the door by myself. These people have no desire to help anyone, avoid this location at all costs. Someone should fire that kid, too.
Amazingly bad service, was 15 minutes late and the guys said he couldnt work on the vehicle because I was more than 10 minutes late. Had snowed all day the day before and there had been an accident on the freeway. Also had the first appointment... The garage doors were shut they were not working on any other vehicle. I would suggest one of their competitors based on just the experience alone.
I did not have any issues until it was time to get my breathalyzer removed from my car. I called and made an appointment for 2 pm I was 10 minutes early and they got started right around 2. The guy working said in would only take about 20 mins. As I waited another man came into the office wanting info and pricing. They did not acknowledge him at all. After about 20 mins he finally went into the garage to flag them down. I had been waiting almost an hour. They quickly gave the man a 800 number to call and did not acknowledge me! I waved him down and asked how long it would be, he said almost done While waiting another man came in, he had an appointment at 330 for install, no on acknowledged him either....long story short I had to wait 2 hours and only because he could not pull my account up on the system. I was furious, he ended up running my card and letting me leave which he could have done an hour and a half ago!! Do not go to this location, total waist of time!!!! And they charged me $80 so many other interlock companies who are much cheaper!
Good experience every time, staff is very attentive and diligent.I am always in and out in a flash, even if they are busy with a few cars being calibrated or installed.Great service
Useless! Irritated that they have to do their job and lazy! Can’t understand how to have offset shifts so they aren’t closed for “lunch” in the peak time of day ?!? Made me wait in waiting room for 10mins and then told me I was too late to be “helped “. Don’t let them near your car, incompetent.
Go on my lunch break to get calibrated, sign says 1-2pm for lunch. Well im there at 12:35pm and doors are locked and nobodys there. Very frustrating. Then I had to go after work one saturday, show up at 3:00pm and there is a sign that says now closed on saturday and directions to a store thats open. Head all the up to the location it gives and there is absolutely no shop there at all. Unreal. On another note the older guy is rude as can be, horrible customer service. Nobody wants to be at smart start and this location just makes the whole situation even more infuriating.
Missed my initial apointment and this guy took care of me to get another one. This is HANDS DOWN the most cost effective and best way to go for interlock in colorado! Legitimatly $75 to install upfront and no additional cost. (I drive a bmw) he did a great job!HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDThanks for getting me back on the road!
If i could give 0 stars i would, the guy working here is very rude, if you can avoid coming here please do so, theres other locations and theyre worth the drive. This older guy is just too rude.
Remember: Closed 1pm to 2pm for lunch! I keeo forgetting & going at wrong time!!ALWAYS fast service, nice guys to work with. They take the time to thoroughly explain how product works and are available to answer my questions every time I call! These guys make a sucky situation just a little more tolerable!!!
The Guys who opened the shop on 10/22/2018 @ 9 have no idea what there doing. Been in 3 times in 24 hours. Gracias!
The employees are horrible! They are not helpful at all. Interlock is a pain as as it is-please hire people that are friendly and good at customer service.
The guys that work there have zero personality and act like they would love to be anywhere else. Not like any of us enjoy or having to pay for it monthly!
Very rude and unprofessional. If they hate there job so much then maybe they shouldn’t be here. Jerks
The last couple of visits to this location i have had extremely rude service!
Would give 0 stars if possible
Most disorganized place ever... waited almost an hour for routine service...
Pain in the a**
