I do not have a storage unit at this facility, but I would select this location if I ever need one in the future. I went to this location to buy moving boxes and as mundane as that sounds, Crystals customer service was outstanding. She was so helpful and even offered to load the boxes I purchased in my car. It was apparent that she was passionate about her job by going above and beyond for the customer. If Crystals level of dedication is representative of this storage facility, I would recommend this storage facility.

New-to-us manager Crystal was super helpful when my phone access wasn’t connecting with the keypad. Also, the orange unit doors were being (beautifully) painted.Our unit door wasn’t quite dry. Crystal got the painting supervisor to check if it was okay to use. He not only reassured us, he removed the masking tape and lifted the door for us.

Crystal was kind, informative, knowledgeable, and had a smile at all time. Had a lot of patient with my questions and answer all of them, I previously was with public storage And because of bad customer service I left. I was there at this location, and had the best service from crystal. Thank you. Hope to keep working with her add this location, looking forward to be part.

My recent experience to rent a storage unit from Public Storage was very satisfactory. The Property Manager, Crystal, was professional and did an excellent job to detail the property and rental contract. The rental property is in a good location and it is well maintained. Crystal is an asset to Public Storage.

I have a bunch of extra furniture and things from a recent move and needed a quick storage unit. I store at this facility and got a good rate at this location and the property is perfect for easy access to my goods. Clean units and extremely friendly staff!

Joe has been very helpful and friendly for a temporary storage location that my husband and I needed quickly. He called to check in and see if we needed anything a few days after booking our reservation. He’s always in the office and available to answer questions or purchase moving supplies. We are glad we chose this location and we are appreciative of Joe!

No issues with security of my possessions and access to the unit was easy. Crystal made the entire process from move in to move out a breeze.

Great service from Michael. In terms of the units, you get what you pay for - the price is cheap and the units arent luxury apartments. But for 6 months my stuff has been safe. I stored a number of vinyl records in an unclimate controlled unit and while I wouldnt do that for more than a few months, they weathered a fairly hot summer without any warp.

Was there last week to ask for pricing and got helped from Diana. Really good customer service from her if I decide to get a unit I will for sure get it here.

Most recently, Michael, was helpful in our downsizing efforts--getting boxes of paper shredded and moving to a smaller unit. Lousy facility, poor management, absence of a functioning security gate. I would give this storage area negative stars, if there was such a category. I rented a space for several months. Half the time the security gate never closed, so anyone could have entered the storage area without being challenged. I attempted to notify the manager about this problem, but he/she was never available in person or by telephone. The daytime attendants claimed the gate had been a problem for quite some time, but had never been repaired. Also, whenever it rained, water collected up to the entrance of my storage unit; there was an obvious drainage issue which was never addressed. Lastly, when I checked out of my unit I had just paid for a months rent a couple of days prior to leaving. The storage facility would not pro rate the fee and return my money for the remainder of the month. There are plenty of newer and better managed storage facilities in the area. Use those!!!

Michael was a great customer service representative and helped us immensely figuring out our storage needs. He worked with us to determine the best fit for our stuff and was patient as we sorted through the initial set up for our unit. He made the whole process smooth and efficient and answered all of our questions.

Never rent in this location, worst customer service, very dirty location, holes in drywall between units, can never get someone to speak to no matter how many times you call and fast to add extra fees. Big mistake renting with Public Storage.

Michael was very helpful, prompt and quick at his work; which helped me square away my account and made moving to town easier today. Usually it takes twice as long for folks to show the unit, handle the paperwork and set up payment auto processing. Thanks again!

Brittany, the Manager, was extremely pleasant, helpful and organized. She was friendly, yet professional. Made me feel right at home. She patiently and thoroughly explained all information from choosing a storage unit to the details of the storage contract and policy. Brittany also answered my questions completely. She showed me various moving supplies that would make moving easier. I bought several and Im glad I did. She took me to the gate, demonstrated how it worked. Next we saw 2 different sized storage units. The larger of the 2 fit my needs perfectly so I chose it. When I showed her pictures of the 6 pieces of furniture, Brittany even made several extremely helpful suggestions as to their placement in the storage storage unit. No storage room manager has ever done that in the many times Ive rented storage units. I really appreciated that as I am packing challenged!I left that day feeling happy about renting a unit from Public Storage due to the outstanding job Brittany did in educating me about the storage facility and its units. This was reinforced when I moved my things into the unit on Feb 20.

Wonderful experience, I was able to call ahead and Brittney was there at the time we discussed, with all of the paperwork ready, and went above and beyond to make sure that I got the service I needed. I needed things done quickly and if it wasnt for her, it wouldnt have happened. Great place and very secure.

I went to the facility with my husband at the last minute to get a storage unit and let Brittney know that we were in a rush and she made it very easy and a smooth process for us. Brittney has been a great help to me since I moved into the unit last year! Not only did she help me get situated the first time but she also made sure I had a smaller unit to move into when I moved out most of my stuff. She made sure every detail was taken care of and was very efficient with my paperwork. Truly an awesome property manager, I feel so at ease knowing she is there to handle anything that comes up with my stuff.

Went with a friend who was renting a spot. It was super easy and Michael was extremely helpful with the whole process. He gave us a bunch of useful advice as well. Was a big surprise for both of us honestly.

We had a very good experience here and vacated #339 yesterday. Staff have always been helpful. We cleaned and swept it out and Jackie inspected it and approved the condition of the unit, and issued our move-out receipt. Jackie was a very nice and competent person. I visited public storage in Herndon to help a friend moving into a new home. After five minutes in the unit, a man named mike appeared to make sure everything was okay. It was. he asked if I myself was interested in a storage unit, he showed me a 10x10, unfortunately I had no real need for storage. Guarentee that when I do need to store, Ill be back to see this obviously salesman again!

A Welcoming and Friendly Staff (thanks John!) A clean and well access controlled location. Watch for the sudden appearance of the entrance on a right curve of the Herndon Parkway. You will learn to swing wide right to line up with the entry code panel on future arrivals. I forgot to bring my lock but their offer was of a high quality and worth the $20 and I guess I will keep it handy for other times.

Michael, who works there, was welcoming and very helpful. Also, the storage unit is clean and neat.

I highly recommend this specific Public Storage in Herndon. Brittany (the Manager) is amazing to say the least. She is very pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to provide the best customer service possible.
