The young women that has helped us the last couple of times we were there has been incredible. She is professional, friendly, and all the other aspects of good customer service that seemed to be lost these days. I have had multiple storage lockers with them for years. I have used storage lockers for a couple of decades I have stayed there for years because they have been the best I have ever worked with and the current management has been the best. I would recommend them to anybody.

I have used this storage facility twice. The office staff are amazing. They are so helpful, super friendly, and help make moving easy. I love the ability to borrow the truck for free when moving in. I have used 2 different sizes at different times. Before moving in they cleaned it out which was nice. I live close by and even store my classic car.

Disappointed. (Low price is a trap) I rented a storage 3 month ago for $55.00 and I received an email 2 days ago with a price increase for $125.00 ?? The manager said that is an owner decision but they will give me 10% off or suggested to get a smaller storage. This happen to me the same trap in the pass with this people. (If don’t believe it please try it)

Ive have 2 storage units with Mini U Storage - Herndon since 2013. The rates is way less than other storage places & the customer service is awesome. I had to switch units & the dynamic duo Kia & Jesse at the front office is fantastic - totally awesomesauce. Cant get better customer service then them. Friendly, efficient, & very kind/sweet. A heads-up. Its way cheaper to rent a unit in the winter time vs summer time months. I believe per contract theres a price hike twice a year - forgot but I think it was $20 more a month. If you want the rental unit price before the price hike you have to switch/rent a new unit same size, smaller, or bigger. However, the painful annoying part is moving all your belongings to the new unit. And theres a small switch fee. Overall, Im very satisfied with Mini U Storage.

Manager Jessy made everything possible to meet my needs: 24 hrs access, security and easy access for straight box trucks. (And I am not exaggerating, as I decided to rent another unit from them). Premises are always kept clean and neat. They were AWESOME! Customer service is so great, and they gave me all the details I needed. First month is free, which is amazing and they gave me shelves in my unit for FREE! My indoor unit was the same price as my outdoor unit. They even asked if I wanted a bottle of water or a mint, which I loved because customer service is huge to me. I watched as the manager trained the two newer employees, which is great because she was extremely thorough so they would know what to do next time. Moving van usage is free for new customers as well. I highly recommend this place!

I have to say Jessie saved my business at this location. The past management was awful and had personality conflict issues with most of customers. Jessie has been awesome to work with and extremely friendly and polite. The grounds are always clean and well kept. The bathrooms are extremely clean and always well stocked with paper and hand towels. I would highly recommend this place for long term storage as for myself or short term. Jessies staff has been just as friendly and accommodating to my needs or questions. Great service is greatly appreciated!

I love the staff here. Theyre very friendly and know what they are doing. The rates are fair and the units are good. I didnt need my unit any longer and the staff swept up behind me emptying it to ensure it was clean for the next customer.

I have used Mini U for a few years. Staff has always been great. Recently my door jammed and Jesse was able to get the door fixed same day. She blocked the opening with a van, and after the door was fixed, put a lock on it. Her responsiveness was just outstanding. The locker is weather tight, and easily accessed. There is a ton of room in mine. I checked rates in other locations and they were the best of any local storage facility. Its also next to a large CIA complex with thousands of CIA employees and contractors, so theres a lot of security in the area. They dont patrol Mini U, but they do patrol the roads around it. Its about as safe an area as you are going to find. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place! Strange to say about a storage facility, I know. But the managing team there is so amazing and accommodating! I made use of their free truck rental for move-in, which was a life-saver. There is a bathroom (clean & well maintained) for customer use during business hours, loaner shelves, and even chilled water!! Theyre even great with my hyper-active 6 year old! Everything is very clean, and they are just so friendly, personable, and professional! Plus the location is great! I very highly recommend them!!! 😀

We recently rented a unit at this facility and were very pleased with everything about the experience. The unit itself is solidly constructed, not just drywall like some of the competitors. The unit felt very secure. We also have rented a truck twice. Jessie has been very friendly, warm and accommodating every time we have worked with her. I highly recommend using this company!

What a find! Not only was the price right--so was absolutely everything else, from the first phone call all the way through to locking the door on the immaculate storage garage. Staff could not have been more helpful, more friendly, more explicit about procedures. AND they recommended movers (Mega Men) who arrived on time (2 minutes early, even!), got to work immediately, wasted no time at all, and, amazingly, seemed to enjoy what they were doing! Overall, no exceptions, the experience was a delight.

Jess and Kia provided me with great information. I explained that I was new to this and just in the exploration stage. Jess listened to my needs and showed me several options while working to meet my desired financial point. At the end, I felt it was a win-win and felt she listened and responded to my needs. Excellent first experience. I would give 5 stars; but the process is not yet complete - so I will go with the 4 stars for now.

Ive been storing my very important belongings here for several years and must say I am very pleased with the staff and facility. I recently was faced with a family emergency which I am currently attending to in the western NY area. Short on cash I stopped by the site and asked to delay this months payment beyond the 10 days grace. I was pleased with the customer focus and caring concern expressed by Jessie and Kia and their willingness to help me. They are appreciated.

Tremendous Experience! Rick and Joan were super friendly and helpful. We initially rented a 5x10 unit, and once we loaded the truck, realized it wouldnt fit in a 5x10. They got us into a great 10x10 instead, with not even a blink! Great facility, great units, and great staff! I will recommend this place to all of my friends! :)

Ive been storing my stuff at this facility for a long long time the new managers and assistant managers at this facility have always made you feel welcome. This storage space is always clean and inviting. A well secure. My hats is off to Jesse and Shakia for all their hard work. When we booked a unit at this location, we were told that the units all had climate control. They do not. We were never told that we had to supply our own lock so we had to go out and do that while our movers were waiting and we were paying them. When I went in to pay for the first month, it asked for a Gate code which I do not have. I called the office and supplied them with my name, unit number and move in date, requesting the gate code. They refused to provide this saying that it was given to us on a card when we moved in. Apparently in the chaos of moving, that card was lost or misplaced. The extremely rude people working at this location adamantly refused to help me and said that I had to come in to the location to get the code. That it could not be given over the phone. I suggested texting it, understanding the need for security. They refused and said that I would have to come in to get the code. I would NOT recommend using this company.

Needed to rent a few storage units in middle of selling and buying house. Jesse M. was awesome at the Mini-U storage Chantilly. She was very helpful in setting up my storage units, arranging the truck rental, and explaining the Mini-U policy. Overall experience was very pleasant and efficient. Definite thumbs up to Jesse and Mini-U!

Jessy and her daughter were AMAZING!!! Top customer service, above and beyond. they both explain prices very well and all the sizes of the units that they had available that could work for all my needs. Took time to drive me to each unit in their golf cart so I can physically see them. they gave me cold water without even asking for it. thank God because it was 98 degrees outside that day. Like I said very AMAZING customer service. I will recommend them to everyone that’s need a storage unit. The icy on the cake is that they also have a truck if you need one.

This is a fabulous storage place. Very Clean and the managers they have there are extremely helpful. They monitor security and I have no concerns about what I keep there. I have used various storage companies over the years in the area and they are the best!

Jessie was phenomenal. She was extremely accurate and well-informed about every aspect of the rental, the logistics of using their truck (provided free of charge, along with the free hand truck), the entry and egress process and hours of access, and even how the facility drainage system protects the units in the event of heavy downpours. I made this rental a few days prior to Hurricane Florence, when predictions were that it would hit northern Virginia. Jessie wisely recommended that I choose an inside unit. She was a consummate professional, calling the following day to check on how I was doing in getting my belongings onto the truck and over to my unit at the storage facility. It was rainy and muddy and slippery and difficult to negotiate moving boxes and furniture that day, so she proactively extended my truck rental time without charge. Thanks for everything Jessie. I feel great about discovering Mini U Storage.

I always noticed both of these wonderful ladies outside cleaning, so I decided to come in for boxes. Let me tell you how awesome the Mini U storage is:1. I was greeted as soon as I walked inside and offered discounts on the boxes that I needed to buy.2. I then inquired about the prices on some of the units they had available and not only did they just tell me about them, Jessy took me on their golf cart to take a look!3. We came back to the office and Kia finished ringing me up for my boxes and then Jessy even offered me a free move in!Before I left, I remembered that I needed tape to close my boxes up and they gave it to me for FREE! Said it was for just stopping by!Honestly, it’s hard to get service like this nowadays but Jessy and Kia did all of this while maintaining a smile!Thank you, Mini U Storage!
