So the last car, and the inspector says because I have cigarettes ashes and a soda cup in the cup holder, he would not inspect my vehicle, his personal agenda was obvious, to get out and go home, but the EXXON garage down the road completed my inspection Minus the long 1 hour waiting, all pass and fine with no issues. Yeah sorry for having my cigarettes ash on the floor and on the stick and using my cup holder to hold my drink, you should have ur work area represent your concerns if you wanna play this off next time

Have been Bring me my cars to in shell since I moved in Herndon in 1990. I never worry about being ripped off or being overcharged or something that’s not broken being told that needs to be fixed. Once again today I had an issue with what I thought was my alternator and drove to the station.Young mechanic came out tested the battery checked out the alternator and discovered that the connecting clip had come out of the alternator and that was my issue. Ask him how much he smiled and said I only spent 10 minutes thanks for coming to herndon shell.Where do you find that kind of service anywhere these days?~Sal P.

Scam.. they fail the inspection, so they can make money.. they said some part is broken and they need to get it from the auto parts in 1 hour. But they called me in 10mins and said they got the part. Basically they replaced some used part..and rude guys.. they feel like they are doing some social service

Great service and price. All my cars are being maintained by them for last few years. Never advised wrong as most car repair shops do. Fair and honest dealing by the owner and highly trained mechanics. I highly recommend them for car services and inspections.

This place was great and not expensive. Felt like very honest people and service. The part took a little bit longer than Id like to wait for, but I am definitely a satisfied customer. Will go to again and definitely recommend.

Rude service....All I needed was an inspection an oil change And they had no intentions of providing quality service. Dont go here. They had no cars in the bay when I went either. I should have known because all the other auto places on that street were packed. So they must have had bad service anyway. Guess Ill wait longer for better service elsewhere

Needed my suspension done. Dropped my car off and a couple hours later was called to pick it up. Not only did they fix that but fixed a light and an oil change at no extra charge. Great service and fair pricing. Would recommend.

Quick and fair inspections and car guy friendly. Ive been using them for 10 years for inspections. Many inspection stations in the area use the inspection to upsell service, these guys do not. They dont spend two hours looking for something to fix, just a normal inspection and you are done. They are clean and very respectful of nice vehicles. If you go mid morning, middle of the month (their slow time) you can be in and out in 30 minutes.

Terrible. I went to see how much to add air to my tire & they turnt my services request down. Yes they have a air pump on the side of the building but Im a woman so I always just offer to pay. Its a damn tire shop how do you not offer air. Ive literally never pulled up to a tire shop & was denied for air. Ill either pay or they say its free. Smh Ill never use this place again.As a real man he shouldve been happy to help. As a Business man he shouldve did it because Im a patron of your Business and charged me Smh and yes its that serious about air.

I did the state inspection and my brake light was outAnd they ask me to replace and I replace three light and the guy who open the truck forget to place the trunk cover and after I left I came back and I ask for the missing part he told me that I suppose to be told them to replace the missing part this place is the worst place don’t rust they all of them are rude and they speak their own language when I ask them this is the worst experience I do have with them and they don’t pay me back and they are even the owner disrespectful

The inspector will fail your Jeep, he used to work next shop there the shell gas station, He is not knowledgeable, please dont go there for inspection

The mechanic kindly took off my snap-on wheel covers and put my original hubcaps back on. Ten minutes. Ten dollars. The guy was very polite.

Never know when the gas pumps are shut off. Needed gas to get back home and 2 times they are randomly turned off!

Theyve mounted some tires for me, plugged a hole in another tire ($10-12). Pretty quick service. I can order tires through these guys cheaper than I can order them from TireRack (accounting for shipping.)

I took my old Honda there ..first of all they treated me so nice ..they had to changed my car timing belt and some other stuff which I got higher quote from other places .. not only less price but I have recieved the nice services .. I diffidently recommend this place ..

SERVICE: Poor-- I went to use my Giant Rewards at the Shell Station and had accumulated $ .90/ gallon off the price on Friday evening. When my husband went to start pumping the gas the pump would not start. I went to the attendant and told him the problem. He said he could not leave the register and did not know why it would not work. He wanted to erase the sale and start over, I told him then I would lose the rewards towards the gas. Since he could not see what was wrong with the pump, all he did was cancel the order. I lost the .$90 per gallon towards my gas purchase. I told him I wanted to speak with a supervisor/owner. He said he would take my information and pass it onto the owner the next morning. 4 days later, Tuesday evening, I have not heard from anyone. I have purchased gas at this station, used it for multiple State and Emission inspections and for service repair, purchasing 4 tires in the past. With the poor customer service and no follow-up, I will not use this Shell Station. again. I went to the Sunoco station near my home and purchased over 15 gallons of gas at pumps that work all the time. I lost over $13 in gas savings from the pump malfunction and was annoyed by the lack of help by the service station attendant at the Shell station in Herndon. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this station again.

Con artists, over priced . Scammers when it comes to fixing a car. Stay away from those guys. Very shady and poor customer service, the mechanics inexperience, the cashier is such a con artist . I been around around cars since I was young and Im telling you what they do is very shady.
