I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. Every employee has the worst social skills and customer service of any employee Ive ever met. They dont honor appointments whatsoever. Ive been waiting 6 months for a CVS prescription card that they refuse to send me. The pharmacist literally yelled at me for not adding my newborn to my CVS pharmacy card like 3 days after he was born. Who does that?
They have the worst service, it literally took me an hr to pick up my medicine. The lead pharmacist doesn’t know how to run a insurance Member ID and I had to call my insurance provider to tell her(Lead Pharmacist) on how to key in a Member ID, so this whole process took me an hr which could be done in few mins if there were experienced and well trained pharmacists. Never ever going here again.
Came in to elden store and doctor would not call me for mr exam. She kept calling people that just came in. I have now been here 2 hours and am still waiting to see her
Bedside manner here is terrible in the clinic. I get precautions, but dont automatically assume that I have something that I may not have. I take precautions and have been vaxxed. A sore body and loss of taste doesnt just dictate COVID, sad to say, but true. Ive had these symptoms prior to COVID even being around. It was strep each time.
ZERO STARS to head pharmacist/pharmacy manager - rude, condescending to customers and staff alike. I keeping forgetting to change my pharmacy preference with my doctor so its a much dredded monthly visit.
I got served at the last minute but the pharmacist for the person next to me literally said, If I can figure this out by closing, well get you -but if I cant, youll have to come back tomorrow. It was 1 minute to close. There was still a huge line behind me who got there well before close but one customer literally took 15 minutes (which happens, but dont turn away people who got there decently before close); about 5 minutes before close another pharmacist came out of nowhere?! Why couldnt they have been helping the last thirty minutes to get the customers who were present?! I was getting a new med and didnt have the chance to ask questions -they didnt even ask if I had any & now I have to go back to figure out what to do. Im probably going to go out of my way to go to another location or pharmacy for help. Only giving one extra star because I technically did get my medicine & it was the correct one so at least they didnt mess that up.
CVS @1062 Elden St. - Worst pharmacy!!! How I wish they would shut this one down or change the management. This pharmacy has gone from worse to worst over last couple years. Nobody ever seems to answer phone calls or treat customers with respect. Absolutely hate it! ☹️
The representative that helped me I believe her name is Limya, she is an all star took the time to get me a CVS rewards points card thing when the store was closing, trusted me to use the bathroom at 11:59PM which I know they had already cleaned and were ready to go home, but she saw a customer in need and didnt turn me away. I said I would give her an awesome survey but I lost the receipt so I hope this will help demonstrate her value to the company she deserves a raise!
WORSE PLACE EVER!!!!!! I have tried calling the pharmacy so many time today that no one answered and I been on hold for almost an hour!
Most of the pharmacy in CVS not good helping not friendly not care about people almost some of them patients
This is the slowest CVS in the world and the Pharmacy is just horrible. Zero customer service and nonsense of urgency or care for patients. Do not try calling the pharmacy because there is no pint in calling us your call will never be answered or you will be hung up on. If I could give this location zero stars I would but the lowest star option is 1, sadly.
Pharmacist was rude, were already closing before my appointment time and didnt have vaccines available. Best she could offer was come back tomorrow and couldnt bother to come out from behind the curtain to speak to me.
As others stated, the pharmacy here is terrible. Ive had to wait up to 2 days to get a prescription before. Im here (immediately after surgery) waiting for a prescription and they cant find it in their system.
1 star because thats the minimum. Had an appointment at 11 for vaccination, I was sent home for no reason, they said they can’t do it. The guy was rude and I observed that while waiting in a queue.
On hold for almost 30 minutes with no answer. Now I have to drive over there…
UNDERSTAFFED PHARMACY!!!!5 HR WAIT FOR PERSCRIPTION!!!!Male pharmacist and tech very rude and unable to do anything but put pills in bottles. They ignore customers in person and respond rudely if asked anything. They ignore phone as it rings and rings!!!They need more staff so that they can actually help the people who come in to drop off new prescriptions and answer the calls and actually fill the needed medications. I will no longer go to this location I transferred all my prescriptions to another CVS. This has been an on going issue for past 2 yrs, I stayed hoping it would improve It has not!!!
Only gave one start to be able to rate this location. The pharmacy is by far the worst I have every experienced. Good luck on getting someone to pick up the phone, and when you do be prepared for them to hang up. BONUS: The manager is just as bad and could care less. NEGATIVE -5 stars.
Awful tried to call three times
Dr. Lisa, the Pharmacist at this location, is absolutely wonderful. She is possibly the most helpful and empathetic Pharmacist to have ever managed my medications and prescriptions. She is incredibly professional, respects and understands my physicians prescribed protocol for each medication-- unfortunately this is not always the case with Pharmacists/Pharmacies. I feel that Lisa has gone above and beyond to assist me whenever there was an issue with a prescription due to mishandling by incompetent Pharmacists at another location (AVOID the CVS at South Lakes). Most recently she has been especially helpful mitigating the stress of dealing w/ the unnecessarily hostile god-complex attitudes of my previous pharmacist. If you are searching for a chain/CVS Pharmacy with a Pharmacist with incredible integrity, professionalism and one that respects the autonomy and dignity of patients, you need not search any further.
You can not get a hold of anyone at this store. Was on hold for over 20 min. It’s absolutely ridiculous that nobody can answer a phone.
This is my first time coming to this CVS location. I had a GREAT experience thanks to SIRJANA. Her professionalism, patience, and empathy made me feel so welcomed. She was willing to go extra miles to help me find what I needed when I hopelessly couldnt find it elsewhere. Sirjana, thank you very much! You are the star that will shine and light up the sky!
Worst place! The Manger that takes care of the medicine is very rude and I went 2 times for my medicine and still not ready when I been waiting 5 hours and still have to wait again more time! They need to hired more people!
Worst pharmacy and worst staff they took 2 hour to give me medicine I have prisciption too my throat was paining badly and they make me wait for 2 hour without any reason never visit here again.
Very busy, but friendly staff
I had awesome experience here. Pharmacist was so helpful and polite. She helped us getting the correct medications covered by insurance. I had taken flu shot here and she had the conversation so that I’ll overcome the fear of shot. Also at the billing counter, Sampada guided us with the membership and getting the items for discounted prices. Thank you for your services 😊
Extremely unprofessional pharmacy staff, especially the pharmacist Sayed. I waited for assistance for a prescription that was ready the day before (no other customers in the line.) Another pharmacy technician attempted to ring me out but said she needed the pharmacist. I gave her my insurance card and waited for about 30 min. In that time the technician that tried to ring me out had gone for the day without returning my insurance card. I thought she had gone on a break. The pharmacist Sayed returned and began closing down shop (a full 30 minutes before the pharmacy was supposed to close.) I asked him for my insurance card and said the technician before had taken it. He responded “that’s not my problem.” When I protested he said “don’t argue with me” and told me to go back in line. By that time there were two other customers in the line. An elderly gentleman who didn’t speak much English had been waiting to be rung out for about 20 min and Sayed told him to come back tomorrow. The gentleman looked at me, put his hands up gesturing about Sayed’s rude behavior and left.Sayed continued to ignore the other customers waiting in line and finally a store attendant from the front came and rung us out. The entire ordeal took an hour when it should’ve been a 5 min interaction.I had questions about my prescription but given how hostile of an environment it was, I just left. It seems from other earlier reviews, that this is common behavior for Sayed, especially with women. I lodged a complaint with corporate in hopes that Sayed is held accountable for his unprofessional behavior.
Staff are not organized. We were having issues in filling prescriptions. For a doctor prescribed diabetic testing machine, these guys packaged a machine which is not matching the testing strips. When I asked for an correct strips pharmacist asking me to change the test machine, which is lower cost. These are rude too.Consider another store than this CVS for better health.
Rude staff..!!!
They need more people working in the pharmacy. Waited 30 minutes to check out while one person was working. Just ridiculous to staff the pharmacy that way.
Scheduled and appointment for flu shot for 7:30. Got confirmation of it emailed to me. Waited for 15 mins to check in. Only to have pharmacist adv they dont give flu shots after 6pm
This pharmacy sucks. Their pharmacist Sayed is horribly unprofessional, unclear and they state that they cannot really see what is in and out of stock in any other CVS pharmacy because the computer systems are not accurate. Try a better pharmacy chain if possible, even he recommended going through another pharmacy next time.
Employees are SO rude here
Long wait times, understaffed .if you are waiting for your prescription it will take forever.better to go to some other pharmacy!!
Stay AWAY!!! One of the worst experiences and wasted 45 minutes. This pharmacy is extremely slow but even worse is staffed with an extremely rude and patriarchal pharmacist who tells female customers you dont tell me how to do my job and youre not patient enough so be served! The pharmacist hides behind the counter and insults customers who ask questions. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!
Had very very bad experience with 1062 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170. I reached by 7:15 due to my kids is suffering from ear pain and keep on crying. The worst doctor she refused me to step in . I begged her more than 10 minutes.Last visit I waited more than 50 minutes and says go out .Mr CVS this is how you guys are treating babies . You guys are earning money by swallowing babies blood .Instead of this do begging will donate some what .I roamed entire city for my baby treatment.
Prepared to wait a long time to fill your prescription while they gossip. Also rude to customers. Should have seen the 2 rating before coming here.
As a parent of small children in daycare I am always picking up prescriptions and have had the best customer service at this site.
Generally I enjoy coming here and the staff can sometimes be very helpful! However, Its 8:00 and they still havent opened the doors yet. People, including myself, are waiting outside. Lets get going people!!!
Love this pharmacy! Kendra is so professional, quick, and understanding. Moving ALL my prescriptions from the McNair Clock tower! Customer service is SOOOO important! Thank you Kendra for showing me there are still people who care!!
The nurse practitioner (her name) R. Zarnigar was extremely rude. She gave off the impression that she did not want to be there or even do her job. She did not introduce herself or even inform me of what was happening. When I asked her questions she seemed super irritated that a patient was asking a medical professional questions about a condition. She huffed and puffed when answering questions as if being a patient was an inconvenience to her.And based off the other majority of 1 star reviews this place has gotten I do not recommend anyone go here as they could care less about you or your health.
I called to ask about the photo department. The Lady who picked up the phone after going through the phone call menus was a complete idiot. I asked her if they had a photo department. She said yes. I then explained how I was trying to find some prices on prints. She than began to talk over me trying to get me to shut up to tell me that she was the pharmacy dept. Ok, no problem, I asked her to transfer me. She said in a hurried rude voice call back. I was confused, I asked her again to please transfer me to the photo department then. Then she said shut up, you call back. I began to tell her that there was no photo department on the phone menus when I called, but before I could finish she hung up.I called back and some guy who sounded like he just finished a couple blunts picked up and I asked to speak to a manager. He put me on hold and after a minute another guy who picked up who sounded like he didnt know where he was. I asked if I was speaking to a manager, to which he replied a who? oh, a. eh. you want a manager? and before I could reply with a yes, he put me on hold. I waited a few minutes and hung up.Ive been in this store a few times a couple years ago and its horrible crummy and run down.Dont go here, theres a Walgreens just down the street thats much newer and nicer, and they always seems to have happy helpful employees.
Kendra the pharmacists is amazing! On top of her game! They need to hire more people like her!! Great customer service!!
The worst ever pharmacist named Sayed. It doesnt cost him to be nice but he is too rude to customers. Even if you hear his associates are talking to him regarding your prescription refill issues, he sound to be saying rude things about them. I went there to pick up my medicine refill i ordered on Saturday and today Tuesday she couldnt find it in pick up counter. She was asking him about how can she find and his reply is if we dont find we can not help.Another day I went to order refill, he was busy in his desk and no one was in the drop off counter, I asked can someone help me over here, his reply was if you cant wait we cant help you. He could ask me to wait until someone becomes available. The CVS 1800 no is another bull S**t... Called and pressed 3 to report store experience takes me to Extra Care after half an hour wasted wait time... and then when started talking even before hearing the associate was referring me to pharmacy dept.I do not have any option otherwise I wouldnt have hit the road to this Pharmacy anymore to see the rude face of this pharmacist again.
Pharmacy is chronically understaffed. Always very long wait times. My daughter had pneumonia and they filled the antibiotic at half strength. Staff are clearly stressed by the lack of sufficient staffing and are short with each other in front of customers. We will be transferring all of our prescriptions elsewhere.
Ive called the pharmacy at this location three times today and have been on hold for over 30 minutes each time, always getting disconnected without speaking to anyone. Completely ridiculous.
If I knew how to give 0 stars I would. Unbelievable that a name brand like CVS can be so dysfunctional. Avoid this store if possible.
Ive given this place several chances but by far, its the worse CVS pharmacy Ive ever experienced. Horrible service and extremely long lines and wait times to drop off and pick up prescriptions. Always understaffed. Lead Pharmacist Syed is extremely rude, unfriendly and abrupt; not helpful at all in answering customers questions and concerns--something that is absolutely essential when dealing with sickness and medications. Ive also seen him yell and order his own staff around in a very unprofessional manner. Dont bother calling ahead because a) no one will answer the phone or b) they answer, place you on hold for a half hour and then disconnect the line.
Very friendly staff. Always helpful and suggest better options
The nurse practioner spends more time with patient than a normal doctor. Slow slow slow
1. The attitude of the pharmacists there are generally rude.2. The wait time on picking up the med is slow.
This review is for the Minute Clinic and the wonderful service we received from Roya. I had stopped by the CVS in Reston near our house to receive flu shots for my son and I but the wait time was over an hour. I was able to reserve a spot at the Elden St location and headed over. Roya was incredibly warm and professional through the whole experience. This was the first time we went to a Minute Clinic and it was convenient and quick. Based on other reviews, management should be hiring more employees like Roya!
My daughter went on a trip and forgot her meds; the pharmacist was extremely helpful in advising me how to get her an emergency supply at her destination.
Jonathan Chen is an incredibly unprofessional pharmacist. Very rude and unsympathetic.
This CVS gave my wife prescription drugs that expired 2 years ago. I dont recommend going here!
Always very long wait times. I think they are very short on the staff. They like to make money without spending money to hire more staff we just have to wait long time And because the staff very stressed out they are very rude to the customers We will be transferring all of our prescriptions somewhere else
They need to fire this guy. He refused to fill my prescription, order my meds, and when confronted he lied saying he cannot order meds for me.
The pharmacist has a rude attitude, and she didnt fill out my prescription because she said that they were about to close. That was few minutes before 9PM, when the pharmacy closes, and the store stays open until midnigh. I had to drive far to another CVS. Just went to this one besides all the bad reviews because it was the closest one after an urgency. I will pay more attention to the reviews next time.
Very rude and unprofessional staff. I called in for a refill for my prescription they put me on hold for 45 minutes and hung up the call. Terrible pharmacy.
I really feel bad for the pharm techs here, and although the lead pharmacist may be rude, I cant imagine what they have to go through. All these one star reviews are accurate but I dont really blame the workers, I blame CVS upper management. The area they are in his horribly packed with non-english speakers who dont have insurance. I witness time and time again these people walk up to the pharmacy to try to refill prescriptions with no refills, or try to fill one they dont even have a prescription for. It is always the same thing and then the pharm tech ends up having to make phone calls and figure out these ridiculous situations and I actually applaud them for that because I would have no time for these ill-prepared people. It really is unfair to the people like me who show up with a prescription or to pick up one that is filled and it should be a 5 minute transaction and then we are forced to wait in long lines while these people who dont have their stuff together get catered to.Either hire more staff or at least always have two members and divert the troublesome customers to the other line and make them wait ridiculous times instead of the people who dont deserve that. CVS needs to do something about this store, just look at the reviews. Its not the staff who are to blame, its the customers of Elden street (surrounded by low income house and ESOL people who cant navigate the health care system correctly) and the upper management who hasnt done anything to correct this over the years.
The worst Cvs i have ever seen
The pharmacist is very rude. He screamed at me from far away. So much for privacy.
Had the worst experience filling a prescription at this pharmacy. My doctor sent the prescription at 10 for my daughter. I took my time and came in a bit after 11 to see if it was done. They said it wasnt ready yet so it will take 20 mins. Since I had my daughter with me I decided to come back knowing that it would be ready and she can rest.So I came back around 2pm thinking that it would be ready. The same person said it wasnt ready yet. Told again that it would take a 15-20 minutes. After a couple minutes they call me and the pharmacist, Sam G., told me we dont have a prescription. I told him that my doctor sent it and what it was. After a couple more minutes he says he has it. I have to wait while he gets it ready. After its done and that there isnt insurance for my daughter. I give him my main medical card, not knowing that it should have given my caremark info.He calls the my main medical and says that no there is no insurance. Then hands me the phone and says you speak to them. The person on the phone says you need your caremark number. I know my wife has the number so I call her and she gives that to me and I go back to the same pharmacist Sam G. and he says he cant do anything with that number. He says he cant help me and passed me a paper saying you need this info and he cant look it up.So I call my wife again and sends me the entire card information. The previous pharmacist that was rude and unhelpful has now left for the day and there is a new pharmacist, Ron M., who comes and talks to me. I tell him about the situation and he is very helpful and says he can look it up with just the caremark number. I give him all the information and he gets everything finalized with the prescription. I ask him for the name of the previous pharmacist and he says he doesnt know his name and that he just fills in when somebody is out. Thats a horrible model that the people that work there cant tell you what the pharmacists name is.As I walk out after over an hour and half to get one prescription the manager is there and I complain and he tells me the same thing that he just fills in and from his reaction that this isnt new information about the attitude of that pharmacist. He is able to give me his full name.Overall this was a poor experience with service with the pharmacy and Ill do my best to move all my prescriptions to either a different pharmacy and/or different location. I will be sure to recommend that everyone should stay away.
Slowest, worst service I have ever experienced.
Never go to this place no neatness at all and long waiting times,,inefficient staff waited more than 20 mins for picking medicines.never go this cvs at all
This place is a disaster, my wifes Dr. Called for a prescription, when I got to the pharmacy the answering machine was still not checked, I have asked to speak with pharmacist and she said she was sorry..
If you close at 10 pm just change the time on google map!
I cant believe this type of pharmacy exists in United States. We lived in several states and this is the most terrible pharmacy in the country. The pharmacist and his staff are very unprofessional.
This place is filthy dirty, and pharmacy exceedingly slow
Worst CVS ever! If they told you the prescription is ready its probably not. If they told you to wait 5 minutes youll probably have to wait 45 minutes. Never coming back again!
There are rude and you can we waiting and they dont ask you if they can help you out
The pharmacy sucks, instead of putting you on hold, they hang up.
Rude people in the pharmacy!
I called them to ask for my daughters drug they put me on hold more than 15 minutes then they hung upIt was too bad feeling 😞😞😞
Doesnt care about customer
Worst service ever
I like cas is my pharmacy
It turns out that I buy a Glucometer, its the first time my doctor prescribes it to me, so I dont know everything about it. The person who attended to me and I trust that everything has to match the brand of glucometer, because he gave me a box of Strips that matches the glucometer and a box of Lances that does not match my glucometer. I go to the pharmacy and he tells me the manager who could not return the, as I had chosen the wrong box, I assume he says it because the box is open, but I have to open it to use it. ALL RESPONSIBILITY IS THE PERSON OF THE PHARMACY, I do not have to assume the cost for the mistake of the person who attended me.Mr. Hindu told me to go to my Doctor, I dont know what.
I went for a product a month ago and today that I went to buy it again, the price had risen 90 percent more
Bad attention in the pharmacy, a Hindu treated me very badly
