The Muffler Shop is the only full service automotive repair shop I will take my van to. They are honest, professional and their work is the highest quality at a fair price. I took my van in for a smog check. While doing that they did a quick safety inspection. They let me know the rear brakes were getting thin and would need to be replaced in the near future. They gave me a quote, which was fair. I had them replace the rear breaks several weeks later and was very pleased with their quality of service. Highly recommend.

Called to get a price for turning drums for my brakes. The Not so bright lady on the phone said she couldnt give me a price over the phone and I would have to bring my drums up there for a price.. No biggy I did seeing how this place is right down the street. Arrived and asked if I could get a price to turn my drums and she said I could make an appointment to have them done and they could call me with a price... What??? how does that work?? Called Discount Muffler and got a price for $15.00 each so for $30 The Muffler Shop lost a Client forever ...They might consider putting someone upfront or on the phone that knows what is up or down...

Imagine not having a functioning air conditioner in Las Vegas at the height of SUMMER! Luckily, after some trial and error, The Muffler Shop found the problem and now my air conditioner is running perfectly! Honest mechanics are hard to come by, so Ill be holding onto this one!

2 experiences here. First was good, 2nd was not.The good - simple walk in diesel smog. Woman at desk was friendly, in and out under 20 mins, $40.While I waited for smog test, I overheard them on phone with a customer who had the dealership tell them they needed brake pads and rotors. Employee thoroughly explained the pads were measured and had approximately 60% life left; they cleaned and lubed all parts, only charged around $60. That meant a lot to me, as they seemed like a good repair shop, so I scheduled an service with them.Needed to replace steering box/pump/hoses(I have my own high quality replacement parts). The mechanic that looked up the job in the system told me $689. I mentioned I had my own parts, and he told me that was just the labor. I said its a 2 hour job. He then told me it was 2 hours for pump, 2 hours for box. Those are insane numbers, Ive done this job many times. Theres about 10 bolts total involved. Even if it were a 4 hour job,, since when do shop rates go for $170/hour?? He seemed to take pleasure in giving me this insane price, had a smirk, and chuckled on my way out.As an engineer, Im typically the mechanic for my family and myself, but dont always have the time. Im always looking for a reliable shop in the valley to save time. This is unfortunately not a shop I will be revisiting for any services.*** in response to the Muffler Shops response-I purchased special custom built high performance parts due to Fords initial poor design of the components. Had I not brought my own parts, Id get an inferior warrantied product; not worth it. I ended up installing it myself in the afternoon that day; without a lift or air tools. Not sure how your comment is justifying a quote of $170/ hour in labor.

AWESOME! There are far too few shops in the Las Vegas valley that are equipped to do diesel smog. I was recommended by another shop to go here, and not only was I in and out in 10 minutes, they were $20 cheaper than the other shops in town. Additionally, the woman at the front desk was friendly, attentive, and even offered that I go watch the process on the dyno to pass the time.Great service, great price, in and out... Couldnt ask for anything more. Thanks!

They looked at our car and told us immediately what the problem was and the cost. After setting up an appointment to get it fixed I completely missed it and they were so understanding and helpful fitting me in the very next day. The best service Ive received and the best prices too.

I took my 2002 Subaru here, after being recommended by Sunset Auto. I was already assuming my cat needed replacement, but to my surprise, they found a gasket leak, fixed it the same day and cost close nothing for it.We also took our 86 Bronco here for some muffler work and they again, were very reasonable on price and were very detailed.Definitely on our list to recommend to everyone!

I asked for a Flowmaster muffler with dual exhaust and emphasized I DONT WANT IT REALLY LOUD when I talked to Dave and Jerry. I said that at least 5 times. Nobody listened! I had the work done for $521.91 and as I drove away I couldnt hear my radio because the muffler was to loud. I called the shop and they said I needed to bring it back so they can add 2 resonators(glass packs) for another $234.46 to quiet it down. Did that and not only was the car still to loud but the exhaust pipes rattled against the rear of the car. I had spent $756.37 to get a horrible job. I had enough of this place. I took my car to a professional shop and for half the money I spent already I got exactly what I asked for, A nice mellow sound and I can now hear my radio again. Dont go to The Muffler Shop!

I have been coming to the Muffler Shop for many years. They do not talk down to you when explaining what your car needs and I trust them to not over sell repairs I do not need. Even my ex husband who doesnt trust anyone still goes here and thats saying something considering there are no naked women who work here.

Wont sell pipe if they dont know what its to be used for. How insane is this?

Time will tell on the job but their muffler work seems solid and I was in and out in a day or two on a decent sized job. Fair prices, friendly owner. Will be back for more work in the future.

MUST READ!! I went in to get a quote for a catalytic converter on my 2017 Yukon XL after my dealership quoted me $2400.00. I have exceeded the mileage (I drive A LOT) on factory warranty and didnt want to spend that huge amount. I walked in and asked for a quote, I was planning on making an appointment getting the work done BUT WAS TURNED AWAY. They informed me that per federal law, the manufacturer MUST warranty this component for 80k or 8yrs per law. I LEFT WITH A SMILE and headed to the dealership. Surprise surprise...... the service writer was shocked to see me and I could see him choking on his own tongue when I quoted federal law. Enough said, it was replaced under warranty. I gained so much respect and trust for an HONEST shop. THANK YOU, YOU WILL HAVE MY BUSINESS AND REFERRALS.

I am new to the Henderson area and live near the old downtown area.Its nice to see old town areas being updated with new business and other amenities. I found the Muffler Shop by chance while driving around the area and decided to try it. I brought my 07 Jeep Patriot in for a check engine light as it was running rough. They promptly diagnosed it and also told me I had a battery about to go bad. I had the car back the next day running like new and fixed a very fair price. They have there for over 37 years so that speaks for itself. I have worked as a mechanic in the past but my physical health is limiting my auto repairs. Im glad to have found a very competent shop that is not out to overcharge and rip me off. Thanks guys

I first took my 63 rambler to the muffler Shop in 1983. They did a great job then. I moved out of Henderson many years ago and returned recently. I brought my 97 E150 in they were quick to give me estimates and options. Im very happy with the work they did. It was fast, done well and not a penny more than the estimate. Ill be very happy to take advantage of their great service whenever Im in Henderson.

I had given a review that these guys are pretty good and that they backed up their warranty but apparently I was wrong. Had some AC work done they wiggled their way out of their warranty with a Part B excuse and wanted to charge me full price as if I hadnt been there before and on top of that theyre pricey to begin with. Wont be returning.

I took my wifes SUV to Dave Beason at The Muffler Shop to have the clicking noise on the left rear wheel checked. The shop is super clean and tidy. They did a very thorough job and determined the brake pads needed to be replaced. The vehicle was ready sooner than I anticipated. Great service and fair pricing! I will only go to The Muffler Shop, Their technicians usually have my vehicles fixed the same day. I can`t have them sitting at the dealership for several days waiting to get looked at. This is a great shop to get your car worked on. I took my car in to get serviced and they did a great job. They inspect everything so you know you are good to go once you leave. My air and cabin filter were dirty and they let me know. I had already purchased the filters and they were sitting in the back seat, I just hadnt had time to install them. I told them that and they gladly installed the filters for free. Who does that? The Muffler Shop! I will definitely be going back.

The muffler shop in my opinion is a very safe and trusting company to go to have your car worked on. Ive been going there for about 4 years now my mom turn me on to it she takes your car there and theyre very reasonable they dont God you or try to get you to fix something and does not need to be fixed like lot of other places. Simple, easy, & reliable. While traveling out of town a couple weeks ago, my brake indicator light came on to let me know it was time for brakes. I made a simple call to let The Muffler Shop team know I need an appointment upon my return. They had all the parts ready for me Monday morning and I was back on the road within a few hours.I have no concerns with making a recommendation to use The Muffler Shop.My comments from 2 years ago -- Jerry, Dave, and team have taken care of multiple vehicles for us. They make it very easy to schedule appointments or drop off vehicles during the night. They are operating with modern technology and text you quotes for approval with another text letting you know the vehicle is ready for pick up. They do an excellent job of explaining the work that needs to be done and will not push extra work on you. They send you follow up emails to remind you of future service at the appropriate time. Customer service is their primary focus and they have been around for over 30 years to prove it.

The best and most honest shop around. They quoted me a price to replace my exhaust on my 1981 CJ5 and after completed they actually charged me a significant amount less. The work they did is perfect too. The jeep sounds a lot better and is nice and smooth now. The pipes, welds, cat, and muffler all look just amazing, better then factory by far. Ive taken my Jeep Liberty into The Muffler Shop a few times and have never had a bad experience. They are very kind and do not treat me like Im an idiot female. The work is always done quickly and professionally. I feel completely safe in leaving my Jeep there knowing it will be done quickly and I wont be running back for the same thing. I feel their prices are within a good range. My Grandson has also used their services, in fact he recommended them to me. Its nice to know I can call them and feel safe in what they tell me. I found The Muffler Shop over 5 years ago. I have been very impressed with the friendly service, best prices, but most important the personal service. So many places add more and more things that have to be fixed now and of course for top prices. A year or two ago, I was quoted a price to change my brakes. When the work was completed, the cost was $75 less than the quote because one of the things they expected to be fixed didnt need it. I thought their quote was reasonable but was thrilled to pay the lesser price. That is only one of the examples that causes me to trust them. When I brought a new car this summer, I was thrilled to find out that the Muffler Shop can do my warranty work. How many auto shops do you trust? Try this one if you cant answer that question with a yes I know one.

I went to the muffler shop as a recommendation. And I am not happy with the out come at all. I took my car there with heating problems (my car was over heating.) they had told me that I had a heating hose leak and that it would be 300 to replace that. So I said okay. As they where fixing it they said the water pump was leaking and that it would be 400 more to fix that. So I took it to another shop. That shop had it in the air said nothing was leaking, did all the test you can do to make sure the water pump was not leaking, and they did the tests more than once. So I call the muffler shop and ask them if there was any test that they did to prove that the water pump was leaking, and they said no we just had it in the air and water was leaking. So they were going to charge me 400 dollars more with out being sure that I was actually leaking!! So ridiculous! I do not recommend this shop.

Bought a used car from a bad dealer. Within a month it needed a new water pump, catalytic converter, spark plugs, parking break, fuel injection service, brake fluid service, transfer case service. So I took it to a big dealer and the quotes to fix my car were super high. So I needed to find a place with better prices with guys that are skilled and most importantly, guys you can trust. And this is the place. Not only did they do all the work with quality and very low prices, but, Dave the owner saw the concern I had over a clicking sound I kept hearing. So he stopped his busy day of paper work to go on a test drive with me. Jerry the manager of the shop went over in detail everything they were doing and why and answered all my questions even my stupid ones. And Jeremy the head mechanic gave my car a complete check to make sure everything was ok even though his day is very busy. If you need a good shop, this is the place.
