I believe our AAMCO has the best people working for them and their knowledge and professionalism as well as their genuine care and concern for you as a person makes them the best kinds of people. The diagnostic they did was not accurate my brake light still come on they did not solve that problem, but checking my sensors accuracy was okay old grey-haired man👎

Apparently not concerned about repairs under warranty. My truck has been involved with them over a week without any action. Either they cant or wont fix another shops work. Extremely dissatisfied.

I thought I needed a transmission because the symbol that came up in my car said that my powertrain was failing instead I needed a battery and thats what Larry told me I needed a battery not a transmission a man named Jeff Wells told me to go there he said he trust them I am grateful to all who helped me thats five stars all day long with me blessings aamco.

They advertise a transmission flush but do not have the equipment here so if you have a sealed system as I do on my FJ Cruiser go elsewhere

Another local shop wanted to put in a new transmission, and I was ready to pay for it but the owner of that shop wouldn’t even call me back to get the ball rolling. So I decided to have our work van towed to Aamco, Larry wanted to hook it up to his computer to make sure it really needed a new transmission. After the codes were cleared it was fine, and they didn’t even charge a fee for the work they put in. If you need a honest shop this is the place, I am completely blown away at the honesty of Larry.

Such intelligent transmission specialists. Couldnt figure out wiring, check engine light,wouldnt stay running. They figured it all out in a few hours and I wasnt out much money at all

So they did fix my car and Im very thankful for them to do that extremely but it was a little weird some of the details for example my cars transmission broke nd when my car broke down i immediately pulled over and when the tow truck came to pick it up I noticed all of the fluid leaking out like a heavy river when I brought the vehicle to them I informed them there was no fluid in the transmission due to it all leaking out. yet few days latwr they called me and said that they thinknit might just be a broken axel and so they were able to pop it back in and went for a test drive but realized that the cars transmission had no fluid which makes me think that the actual transmission was broken by them and all I had was an axel issue also they gave me a feeling that fluids are checked but when I came to pick up my vehicle it was covered in dirt and they didnt even bother to put extra windshield wiper fluid in I did end up spending quite a bit of money where I would assume all fluids that go in the vehicle would be in there. Im thankful that they fixed the vehicle thats why Im giving it four stars but all in all I would probably not recommend hemets amcosorry thank you for the fix

Took 2 weeks to Rebuild my transmission. Was promised no longer than 10 days and had to defer multiple jobs because of this.After getting my truck back, immediately had Check Engine Light on for something I had fixed 2k miles before.Transmission runs hotter than before but no issues so far with Their repair. Just got stuck 2500 miles away on a Sunday because of the CEL that popped up after they worked on it.

I had went to them for the first time and the service was great, I have no complaints. They serviced my vehicle and I was omw today I went back to get a follow up diagnostic to compare other companies findings and price quotes . They had no problem explaining to me what could be wrong and preformed inspection of my vehicle.

The staff was very helpful and informative, with educating me in my vehicle transmission and the best product recommend. Was pleased with the service and will be back for another service

I wasnt getting any power to my obd connection and I was trying to get a tune-up I was recommended to AAMCO and they attended to me in no time and got the job done very nice people 👍🏾

My sister had a new transmission installed. When the auto was returned, it mysteriously now needed motor mounts which were not broken BEFORE the transmission had been replaced. The mechanic stated that the car sat for a long time (2 months) and since its old those things sometimes need replacing. 😡NEVER going there again!!!

Great experience here! I saw that it was under new management and my car needed to get the oil replaced. I had it done here and they checked other things for free. I knew I needed to get my brakes redone and so they installed new ones for me. My car is working a lot better now!It used to have a problem accelerating and turning on the air conditioner at the same time and they fixed that for me too.You all should definitely check out this AAMCO. Theyre friendly and have speedy service. The manager even drove me home because I left my car there for a few days.

Horrible. had a test ran on my car and they said they could tell me if it was mechanical or electrical. after some time they returned and told me it was absolutely mechanical. i asked if it could be anything else, they replied with no it has to be replaced or rebuilt. turns out it was a 30$ plug that was wrong with the car. thats electrical. other mechanics told me it was electric. never again will my car ever come through this brand

Stop there ask about fixing a leak was told they did not have time to work on my junk of a truck so had to have it towed to another shop i would never go back there so rude I wonder why there still in business. Dont go here you will be sorry I was told later they love to rip people off .

People are friendly, but when searching for a place to do an AC diagnosis, they advertise free diagnosis, and was charge almost 40 dollars, the waiting room is very uncomfortable, a few chairs and a TV, I believe for the time a customer is there, and prices we pay, we should at least have a waiting room with AC, But staff was very helpful, and friendly

It was great I used their parking lot to make a phone call and turn around, nobody came out and yelled at me.

Told me my transmission needed a complete rebuild, costing $2000-$3000+ to be done by them. I decided to take my car to another mechanic in town and it was just a $30 part that needed repaired. Got my car up and running within 24 hours with a tiny electrical part...after SCAAMCO said it was FOR SURE not electrical and needed a new transmission. Total bull! They are just trying to get your money, DO NOT take your car here.

I always go to the AAMCO in Hemet because they always provide great service and never had any problems after servicing my car. Also Rheanna at the front desk is very nice and always helpful.

Couldnt find problems with car... All it was was gas cap... & Bad battery.

2nd time I’ve tried to use them. Problem not fixed, tried to blame my wife for not fixing the vehicle. Always excuses no resolution. Take your vehicle any place else. Bad service, bad customer service.

The manager and the techs all know their stuff - helpful, honest and knowledgeable across the board!I brought my truck in with weird engine/tranny noises on a busy day - the Saturday before Easter. Within a few hours, they had the problem diagnosed and tested (it turns out it was NOT a tranny issue). Since the problem was just loose body panels, I was out the door with NO CHARGE!I would highly recommend this shop to anyone with car issues.

My camry was broke down in San Jacinto. Thomas towed it in for free!! I was sure it was a transmission because another shop had told me it was and would cost me $2500. The guys at Aamco fixed it for $175. Car is running great. Will always bring my car here first.

Had my transmission rebuilt at the Hemet California location three weeks after having it done I brought it back to them and told them it was having issues going up hills the RPMs would just drop wouldn’t downshift into the lower gear and when it finally did it would slam into gear brought it back to him told him what was going on he drove it around the block didn’t bring it up a hill and told me there was no issue a month later brought it back again it was having issues he didn’t even drive it anywhere told me that it was fine now that I’m over the mileage limit but still under the 18 month Limit my transmission went bad again and he refuses to warrantee it because I’m over the mileage even though I brought it back to him three times while still under warranty AAMCO should be ashamed of themselves

So I took my car to Aamco to get my transmission fixed. Their first quote was 3500 out the door but I told them that was crazy and Id go somewhere else. Then they said they would take of a couple hundred and extend my warranty on it so I said ok because I needed to hurry up and get it fixed. Theyve now had my car for two weeks and are trying to say their charging me 3300 plus tax. That comes out to MORE then the original quote. I guess they believe I cant do math and they just make up the price as they go along. Never coming here again.

Went for a fluid leak,it turned out to be the front seal.Trans had to be taken out and many parts replaced.It took a week and $1200 later but is running fine now.The manager and staff at aamco is outstanding!!!!!!

The owners honest

After reading the previous reviews, I took a 1990s Miata there to get the air conditioning system operable. I just bought the car, it was in dreadful shape and needed a lot of work. They said that the ac system was beyond repair and a conversion kit to modernize it would have to be installed. The cost quoted was just above $1200.00. They also recommended a finance company theyve dealt with in the past. By chance a few days later I happened on another shop specializing in air conditioning systems called Hemet Auto Air Conditioning. They serviced and charged my beyond repair A/C system for $126.00. That was almost a year ago and it still works great. I cant explain why AMMCO was so off on their assessment, but Im not going back there again.

Had my car for 4 days called just to replace the upper and lower control arms did the bottom ones that I told them where bad and said check the upper ones to well after the 4th day called me and informed me that the upper ones where bad so had to order the parts and I finally got to pick up my car just to take it to a alinghnment shop they for got to tell me the steering wheel was at half mas never agian
