The only place that I will go to have my car worked on, is the Midas on Florida Ave in Hemet Ca. Why you ask, well I will tell you in one word; Michael. There are really several words, but I was trying to point out the man that runs the show at that shop. The whole crew is fantastic. Michael always is in great spirits, always with a smile, and has an answer for any problem you may have with your vehicle. Honest, hard working; I think that sums it up. Lets face it, there are lots of places to go to in our valley; but why would you. You can trust this crew and this is the only shop I would consider.

The gentleman that worked there are friendly, and they have gotten everything fixed very quickly, and didnt even try to charge me extra for stuff I didnt need. They are very honest. Michael and Thomas both explained what needed to be done, and they checked my AC and all that needed was freon, somebody else probably would have tried to charge me for a bunch of other stuff because its happened before. But not at Midas. And they do all kinds of things just ask

Went for an exhaust inspection! They were helpful and gave us a free estimate and said to check warranty will cover if not they would be happy to help us! Good staff!!

My previous review was intended for a different business - car wash. Ive been to this Midas location several times for work vehicles, and they take good care of us. I will be bringing my own vehicle here soon!

The man seen very nice but I realized later hes just a salesman and the mechanic was doing a brake job, this place attested something for me didnt have my part that I need it replaced and I find out a couple hours later that they double charge me for the part or I can get it elsewhere for less than half of what they were asking for and then they made a comment the mechanic came in and made a comment well well start there what does that mean theyre already planning to make my bill higher Ill pass you should too nothing like a commercial LOL

I had my truck stolen and needed a front end suspension rebuild with new shocks and A arms. Manager Michael found my parts quickly and their speedy technicians quickly got my truck repaired and i was back on the road to Vegas!

Manager Michael was customer friendly and gave me a decent price for my brake pads and rotors.. But Thomas was a jerk to my wife.. And he had an attitude. If he doesnt like working with customers then he shouldnt be in a customer service oriented business. He tried charging her $20 more for a service that i had already had done to my car here at Midas. If you are a woman be careful when going to car places. They will try to get you worried about certain services.

Beyond 5 stars!! Had been hearing a noise in the front end and thought I was in need of a new shock or strut. Michael got me in immediately on a Saturday morning. Thomas took a quick test drive. He said it was not a shock or strut but was something. After lifting the car they noticed a caliper screw on the brake was missing! Whether forgotten or not reinstalled properly from a previous brake job by a local car shop is not clear. They fix the situation in 10 minutes and I was safely on my way!! They would not even charge me!! They have a customer for life now! I cant thank them enough! These guys are the reason you can trust a national chain!! Again 5 stars is not enough!

Employee broke my door handle due to an additude he had. Although I dont think he meant too. It was poor customer and vehicle service. I asked him if he checked all the fluids ? He replied yes everything is fine Maam. Well he had lied to my face because before I went in for an oil change, I had checked and was low on Transmission fluids. Also I was watching him from the moment he pulled my car in the bay. Thank God the manager was on duty because he checked and found out the mechanic was lying. He added all the fluids it needed. I get in my vehicle and drive away satisfied . I grab the inside door handle to exit my vehicle and it was broken. I guess he yanked the handle an the inner cable was broken. So now I have to rely on someone to open my door to get out my vehicle.

This is the best place in town for all of your car repairs and maintenance! I recently referred someone who was being charged nearly $2,000 to fix their AC at a well known shop in town. I convinced them to go and at least get one more quote to consider. Midas discovered it was a problem that would cost $138 to fix! Im always very impressed by their work and integrity and will always recommend this place.

I’ve lived in the valley for over 17 years and finding a mechanic that you can trust can be hard to do. The guys at Midas are professinal and know what they are doing from doing a simple oil change or a tune up to welding on a muffler and everything else that your vehical might need. I have been going here for years and they have never let me down. One thing I do is call a day or two before and make a appointment for whatever service I’m getting done, it saves so much time. One other thing every time I come in they always look to save me money by checking to see what offers they have going on at the time, well done.

Fast and friendly service

I must say this place left a very bad taste in my mouth. Thomas has no customer service. None of the employees are wearing masks. Thomas quoted me 20.00 more for a service I went in for. Not to mention this place used no seat covers before getting in my vehicle.. Especially with everything going on. I guess this company doesnt practice any Covid 19 practices.

Seemed like a busy shop. I wish I could comment on their work, but I wasnt able to make it that far. Instead, I was met with lame attitude- being told that there would be a three hour wait, regardless that I had made an appointment online. I guess its just accepted that I wait endlessly and toss money into your business, lol, no thanks. Just did the work myself. Oh, and if you want, you can get free CoVid here if youre lucky- nobody wears masks.

Service is very slow or or not at all so if you go there make sure you make an appointment or youll have to come back another day they dont have enough mechanics

The manager in front was extremely rude. All because I denied extra services, he returned my keys. Would not do my alignment or explain why. Then he started yelling at me when I was trying to leave with my children. All he had to do was explain why he was returning my keys an wouldn’t align my truck. Instead he treated me horribly. Customer service should be top priority.

Quick and easy service. Went in for a quick battery replacement, customer services quickly assigned worker and i was done! 40 minutes later im back on the road.

This is my go to place for oil changes for both my cars. The manager is friendly, helpful and never makes me feel pressured to have work done. Im always in and out the shop in a reasonable amount of time. Would recommend!

I have always had a good experience with Midas. Not today though. I arrived at 5:07pm 6/24/19 for an alignment. There was nobody on the rack. I was told that they had to clean the shop up and there wouldnt be enough time. I explained I just had tires put on from across the street and I didnt want to damage them by driving. They are under new management says the sign outside. I guess management needs to speak with their employees about customer appreciation. Never give them my money again!!!

Always extremely helpful no matter what the issue may be

They had to order parts which I understand and ok with... but I had to follow up...they first thought the parts would be in on a Wednesday I called Friday they said parts wont be in until next week....after I hung up I thought it over and decided to go elsewhere and called back they said that they were just about to call me and that the parts were in....so I had the muffler installed they did a good job at a fair price... but it was not a perfect experience.

Manager with blonde hair and beard is Incapable of performing a simple alignment do to lack of knowledge and laziness! he told me he was unable to turn a simple bolt when the alignment was done at the same shop by the same tech 4 weeks prior!

I always go here for an oil change. I have serviced my Mercedes as well as my Jeep. They are reasonably priced (cheapest I could find) relatively quick (no longer than an hour and a half) and a quiet and friendly atmosphere. They will tell you if there are any leaks, top off low fluids, and reccomend other shops if you need work on your vehicle that they dont perform. They usually call you when they are done but sometimes they dont so make sure to follow up. If you wait there, they have a tv, magazines, and vending machines. will always take my vehicles to this Midas.

I got an Appointment and was greeted by the person who took my information and had them Repair one of the tires that had a wooden screw and rotated the tires and took only 25 minutes.I have 3 Cars that I bring to get the Oil Changed and Tires Rotated.

Treated great didnt wait much for an oil change. Got a free inspection and was told I have a leaking rear axle and the manager told me its something I will need to fix in the future and he gave me an estimate with no pressure. Recommend to everyone

Mike at Midas was real helpful and respectful, he helped me find a set of tire in my budget that best fit my needs. He did not try and upsell me the most expensive tires just to make a quota.

I checked appointment time availability online and made an appointment yesterday. Today when I showed up, the manager said they had no slots available today, even though I had selected a time they were available, and they had no cars in the bays. I will not trust them again.

Greatest bunch of guys,very knowledgable. More than just mufflers ... brakes,tires,alignments, usually anything wrong,they can fix,or send you to an expert if so be it(blown engine,etc )

They aloud people not disabled to park in handicap spot when I said something was told to mind my own business so I took a picture gave to police with lady car parked in spot .

I was unsatisfied with this place. I called on a Sunday to ask if I should make an appointment, somebody answered and said if I came in now they could fit me in. I arrived 20 mins later and one of the guys was very rude. He said no, until I told him I called. Then he said only if he could keep the car until 5pm, it was 10am. When I said that was fine, he rolled his eyes and very annoyed took me inside, and got more annoyed when I didnt know what a tune up meant exactly, apparently its just spark plugs? 😅... anyway he made me so uncomfortable I left, and went somewhere they were nicer about my lack of car knowledge.

When I was there a man who had gone there for 7 years told me about the staff and the service. The team was honest and great, especially the manager, but the garage staff was equal a friendly and helpful. This is my new number one spot for all future Automotive Services

We had a massive hole in our drivers side back tire and were 100% unaware till c.h.p announced it on his loud speaker were we were slightly panicking of closest tire place I could think of is Midas it was 2:30pm on Gilbert and Florida on a Tuesday February 12th 2019 and they stated they were closing in 30 min couldnt help us and walked away kinda staring at us for no reason we luckily had better luck with tire shop directly behind witch went out of there way to help us.... God bless them

Big guy in front office working yesterday morning cursed me out and said “fuking call corporate we’re a franchise”. Don’t bother going there they put the wrong size tire on my car before and I gave them another chance and they still failed. Worst tire shop in Hemet.

Took my ‘86 RV in to replace the muffler. They were quick and friendly but when I went to get it smogged less than 24 hours later they could not test it because of the muffler leaks, they were shocked when I told them I had them replaced the day before. Took it back into Midas, initially told that it would be hours before they could get to my vehicle but found a way to repair it right away. Then proceeded to bad mouth the place I took it to get smogged telling me it was only a small leak and that they were surprised they (Smog place) didn’t mention the other leak the Midas employee heard. If Midas had repaired the muffler as they claimed there should not be any leaks, which apparently there are still small ones after the 2nd trip there.

Firestone totally told me flat out they wont fix my car after scheduling an appointment at 2 and being told at 3-4 they cant fix it. Also after they tried to complain my car to low to work on. Mind u im a single mother already took a whole day off and still stuck with no car. Was recommend to talk to Mike at Midas. Called him explained the situation he told me bring it by and he can see what he can do. Dropped it off near closing time by the next morning he was already calling me telling me whats wrong and that he can fix my gasket no problem. Was upfront about the other problems car still has and was very understanding with me. Would recommend them over anyone. Dont go to Firestone they a waste of time. Thank you Mike and Midas employees for helping me out in a time of need.

Midas is a freaking joke and a waste of time and money. Went to have a new radiator hose put on and they emptied my Radiator and didnt fill it back up left it dry and the new brakes were shity and still were grinding and squeaky. And charged me a lot for crappy services. Dont ever go and waste time or your money.

Dont waste your time coming here only to get treated like the way I got treated here. I will absolutely never step a foot in a Midas ever again.Went in at 11am to drop off my vehicle so they could check my breaks. I felt that the breaking in my vehicle was not as strong as before. The owner said it would take about an hour because his guys were taking lunch.Got a phone call at 12:45 by the owner explaining what was wrong along with an estimate. I did not want any work done that day so I told him I could come by the shop. Not 5 minutes passed by when I came to take my vehicle back and the owner tells me to come back again because his guys were at lunch... again.I come in a 3rd time at 4:10pm for him to say come back at 5pm. Finally got a call at 5pm saying to come picm up my vehicle. Funny enough because they close at 5pm and I was their last priority.Even though I had told him I was going to come back another day, the owner not only wasted my time but also lost me as a customer. Dont waste your time coming here only to get treated like the way I got treated here.

These guys are crooks $99 for brake pads $99 for labor are you serious. I must have been leaking $100 bills out my ass. No thanks. Came in for oil change then they pulled the drum and it broke the cylinder in the process. Ok theres ovbius damage that had to be fixed but they quoted me for $800 no thanks went to OReillys got everything i needed for $150. Nice try jack you still got me for $250. Thats why i havent been to a mechanic in years, its these establishments that give all mechanics a bad reputation.

I went in for a simple brake inspection and was told that I needed my rotors replaced they check my oil and a few other things with no charge I’m happy with the new management and will be returning for future service. Thank you, Mr. Laughlin
