Went for smog check but I knew my engine light was on, I know full history of the car and had my brother work on it years before. Since we moved to Hemet I had to find a new mechanic, I came here after reading reviews and brought everything I knew about the car to the owner. Now as a woman who has a brother as a mechanic I knew exactly what the car needed, I just love seeing what other mechanics throw at me. I have a misfire and the owner told me I needed my catalytic converter replaced. He gave me this big explanation as to why and it sounded very convincing. After looking at the shop it did not look trustworthy. Amazon boxes and stuff stacked everywhere. Never went back after he set my appointment.

Took vehicle to 2 other mechanics. For today they saved me $700. Best Experience EVER

They are honest - professional- knowledgeable- & really care about you as a person & helping with your car issues. As an older single woman I can trust them 100%. Trying to keep up with my car maintenance can be a struggle, but they are always there to help.

We took a van to be checked out and paid $100 to have them do a very elaborate and detailed evaluation. They found every large and small item you could imagine that needed to be fixed. They literally saved us thousands! I would recommend anyone go there to get a a car checked out!

Im from Alberta Canada and had a wiring problem with my car. I was quite worried about taking it anywhere to be honest. When I called Scott he seemed to be very honest and up front. He did a preliminary look and found the problem and gave me an estimate. He fixed the problem and kept to his estimate and even replaced my windshield wipers in the estimated cost as well. If I ever need help with any mechanical issue again while Im in Hemet I will definitely be going to see him and his people.

Lady at the desk was nice but the place seemed to need customers, which for a repair shop is always a bad sign, then came the owner who was throwing out huge numbers for minimal repairs but explaining them in length so as to justify the hefty price tag, also he took picture of my license place and claimed it was “ notes”, no wonder there was no customers, def not interested in their auto repair services

Im 59 years old (2019). Ive been taking my cars to Diamond Valley Auto Repair for years. Frankly, I was kind of shocked at the negative reviews I saw here today. My experience with the owner, Scott, and his crew, for that matter are without a doubt the most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with and they have gone out if their way to save money for both myself and others that I have sent their way, even when the shop didnt know Id sent them. Theyve repaired everything from my Diesel Ford Truck to my Toyota Prius. Both of my sons have taken their vehicles in as well. Their work has been outstanding. I recommend them highly.

They have always been helpful in doing what was needed and keeping the cost down, then suggesting that other not so serious items be done at a later date to spread the expense over time. Showing an understanding of the needs of folks on a fixed income. Always accommodating and helpful to arrange rides home and pick up when job done etc. Just plain good folks to do business with.

This place just wants your money! My mom bought a battery here 3years ago with a 5year warranty. Took her car in with a dead battery and they charged her $25 to have the battery tested to find out it is a dead battery. And instead of honoring the 5yr warranty(which my mom paid more for) they told her they’ll give her $25 towards a new $250 battery!?!?🤬🤬🤬 plus they said she needs new wiring harness. Total of $700+ for everything! I called around and a wiring harness is only $20. This place is a scam and I will be reporting them to BBB

This was the worst experience that Ive ever had with a mechanic. I brought it in because it wouldnt start intermittently. I was told that it was a sensor and that the chassis electrical was off. They also said that the spark plugs and wires were bad. They told me to fix the electrical they would need to replace some sockets in my license plate lights. The total was just under $1,000. My son uses the truck for work so I bit the bullet. After the so-called repairs I went down to pick up the truck. It wouldnt start. I left the truck to have them figure out what was wrong. Here I am a week later and I havent heard from them. Im going to have to take the truck to another mechanic now and Im out $1,000 dollars for stuff I probably didnt need in the first place. NEVER take your vehicle to this place!

This was one of the worst shops I have ever been to in my life. I live like 5 mins away from the shop I dropped my mustang off due to overheating issues and spoke with the owner.ok before I even get a foot in my home he calls my phone saying my radiator is gone and I blew a head gasket I live 5 mins away then he says 600 for parts and labor for radiator, 2k -3k for head gasket and in the same breath he says I don’t know how much money ur working with but I have a couple of cars for sell from 2500 and up. Ok so at this point I already knew I was being hustled so I just played along with there malarkey and just hoped they didn’t mess up my car for real when I got there The Whole shop was in on it the son everybody so paid 50 buck for diagnostic for no reason and took my car to Midas around the corner they told me just the radiator fixed it and haven’t had any problems at all and they said there are no head gasket problems.so pure scam artist I called better business bureau to report them so more people do the same they need to be shut down

I took my minivan here to be smogged. They told me they could not pass it because it lacked timing marks. I took it elsewhere where I was told that my van did not need those timing marks and the only minivan of the same type that needed those timing marks was 2 years newer and didnt apply to mine.They would not give back any money and I have not had any problem getting my van smogged at any other station.
