The lady I talked to over the phone was very helpful but the person I dealt with in person Richard (I think his name was) makes you feel you owe them for being there. Took forever to get things half way done. Was going to let me go by emailing me the receipt but told me I had to wait longer if I wanted the code for the gate. How the heck am I gonna get in without the code, well maybe in the email but it doesnt matter because I walked away and had my payment refunded. The place looks good, clean and secure though.

The customer service here is excellent. Not only are the two who work in the front office very pleasant and professional but I had an issue and it was resolved almost immediately by a phone call from the regional manager. Well done.

This place is accessible, the staff is amazing especially Chantel. Looking forward to using them again. They replaced brand new doors on the storage. So your belongings are very secure. Everything is automated via email. You are notified if there’s any changes prior. Very advanced computer system that allows you to have a credit card on file. Payment is only made, when you request. Excellent experience. Security public storage keep up the good work.

However it is the service at Security Public Storage in Hayward that deserves unusual praise. It is first rate. The staff is friendly, efficient, and really worked with us which made our move so much easier. They are responsive on the phone and in person. Even after gaining our business, the courtesy and professionalism remains. I have never had any issues with Security Public Storage. I like the easy access to my things, and the fact that they work with you to avoid fees if you are ever in a rough time and late on payment. The employees are very nice, polite, knowledgeable and courteous Plus they have a restroom thats available for their customers.

Moving from the mid-west to the Bay Area, we have been storing a lot of our furniture here. They were great in driving us around and showing us our choices. Billing is simple, on auto-pay. I will admit we havent accessed our unit from the time that we stored it; Ill update once we see the condition of our things. Pricing is competitive.

Security Public Storage is a good place to store you stuff, the prices are a little bit cheaper than other Storage Places in Hayward. The staff is very help full and are willing to work with you. The only complaint I have is it is not on a main road and is a little inconvenient to get to, compared to other storage facilities. But the staff and prices are worth that inconvenience.

I have been storing items at Security Public Storage in Hayward for about the last 5 months. Have encountered no problems with set-up, storage, or payment online. Chantel and Richard are great and were very helpful.

Im only giving 3 stars due to the fact that I have a drive up storage space and my belongings are covered w debris..leaves, dust, small pieces of paper AND gigantic spiders along with mice droppings. HOWEVER, if I could rate the staff separately, Id give them 5 Stars for their customer service. All in all, I would recommend this facility, just not an outside drive up unit. #H351

Ive been renting space from Security Public Storage since November of 2012 and Ive been nothing but ecstatic about the service Ive received. Not only are their rates very competitive but John the manager and his assistant Paul have gone out of their way to accommodate every need and request weve made regarding our storage space. As you well know, you can rent storage space anywhere, but in the long run, the staff is what will make the experience good or bad. I would highly recommend this location in the East Bay to anyone who has a temporary or permanent storage need.

So I have used this company for many years now and I have seen the change in couples who have worked to run this facility. All of these people have including Richard and Chantelle have been wonderful to work with and extremely helpful. I am currently renting a 10X10 unit and in the past mother had rented a 20X30 unit which she was in for almost 10 years.This company treats its unit holders like family but it is a business so you do have to pay your rental fees on time.Thank you for the awesome service Richard and Chantelle

Glad John is no longer the mangager and they dont find another person that doesnt know how to run things or is RUDE and OBNOXIOUS. 5 STARS!!! Excellent service received from Rich, the manager! He went above & beyond the call of duty the other night when I tried to gain access through the gate & forgot my entry code. I hadnt been by for couple months & my memory went blank when trying to input the code. Rich had happened to drive up with his family & I know if it were me I would rather not bother with clients on my time off but he did! He saw my dilema & he was kind enough to go inside the office AFTER hours & retrieve the code for me (after he verified me with my ID) & without a hint of annoyance & saved me a wasted 20 mile trip! I had to write to compliment Rich for outstanding customer service! A very satisfied customer here!

I had planned on doing myself so I had brought my grinder with me when I told them they said do worry about it we’ll handle it right away .
