Went in looking for a $70-80,000 3 bed 2 bath single wide for no more than $600 a month payment including everything (because I have good credit). Was basically “scoffed” at when he heard that was our price range. Wonderful salesman Casey said “for $600/month you couldn’t get a 25,000 home.”Filled out an application anyways to be sure because that’s not what we heard from the past 5 places we went to before. Wasn’t even shown any trailers here btw because of our price range I’m guessing. Just got approved at laurel home center for a BEAUTIFUL $71,000 3b2bath 2021 trailer for $573/month including literally EVERYTHING as far as septic, power, set up, taxes, insurance, etc. Advice to all people looking to become new home owners explore ALL of your options to be sure because you never know who knows what they are talking about or who will turn you down immediately possibly because you look young and might not know how things work. I’m sure they have beautiful homes and wish we could’ve seen some to have more options and he was fairly nice and respectful after application but this isn’t how you do things if you know what you’re doing.
