Their staff is very courteous. The manager (Tim Hinchley) is very knowledgeable. He patiently explained in simple terms what the issues were and what he did to fix each one. I got my car back next day at a very reasonable price. Car runs great! Thanks Merlin!

We had an issue with another shop. We were directed to this shop. They fixed all the problems and then some. Great crew! Super professional and knowledgeable. Definitely highly recommend.

They are so pricey for no reason. I was trying to get my coilovers installed and they gave me a quote for $600 just for labor. I got them installed for $300 from other place. They are nice people but they charge a lot more than other places!

Took my car to get one of the tires plugged a few months ago. They replaced the entire tire for a good price. Recently took it for servicing because my air conditioning was blowing out hot air since last year. A mechanic suggested a condenser, and I let him replace it. Afterwards, it was still blowing hot so that same mechanic suggested an a/c compressor. I was unsure about the mechanic at this point, so I took it to Merlin for an inspection thinking it was the compressor. TIM called back with good news. The guy that put my condenser in didn’t put it in correctly. It was a simple screw that needed replaced/tightening. At anytime, they could’ve been like most shops and overcharged me because I was a female or just for extra cash. They’ve definitely earned my trust. They’ll be the only ones touching my car going forward! Thanks Tim & to the great mechanic that fixed my door handle!

First time at this location, needed oil and an alignment. Met the manager, Tim, who got me in quickly and answered all my questions. Shawn and the rest of the staff were great, did a good job on my vehicle. If youre worried about COVID, they clean a lot there and wear masks. Will return for sure.

I trust only Merlins with mine and my families safety... I had a problem that no one could find or correct but this Merlin found it and repaired it same day. Ask for Sean, tell him Maria sent you. He is honest, fairly priced and does a great job. My family only goes to Merlin because of Sean!

Extremely high oil change prices. This is just price gouging. Avoid the nonsense. Just do it yourself for like a quarter of the price. Lots of good you tube videos out there on how to do it yourself. Its honestly just not worth what theyre asking price wise.

Really liked the service here. They were honest with me about what I needed to fix and what else was wrong, but I could wait on fixing. They also told me about a manufacturer recall on my car that I had no idea about and could get replaced for free by the dealer. Good people and good service. I will be a repeat customer.

Came in for wheel alignment after getting my tire rods changed in other place. Before I got here my car was going straight but the steering wheel was turned left. While waiting the guy talks about some parts needing change but he could do the alignment without replacing them and I said ok. After hes done, I drove home and not only steering wheel wasnt straight (this time turned to the right) but now the car drives to the left. I go back and guy named Tim gets in a car with me and hes telling me that the steering to the left isnt so bad and that the steering wheel is better than it was. I said yeah, but the car doesnt drive straight now and wheel is still off. His attitude changed from nice and friendly to angry (like I did something wrong). We come back and he said hed try switching tires but after few minutes he calls me to show me the car, points at some parts and tells me that without replacing those parts he wont waste his time on me (he didnt even try to switch the tires like he said he would). I tried talking to him calmy but he kept getting more angry at me and eventually kicked me out of the store. So... Long story short, before I got my car there it was going straight, now AFTER alignment its steering to the left... Great job Tim! Learn how to talk to customers with respect.

I have coming here for years. My family goes here as well and they are always so nice. It is always great to go to people you can trust. Tim and Scott are always so informative. Scott even drove me home so I didnt have to wait for the repairs on my old car. Now that I have a new car I will continue to come here.

I used to go to Merlins for my service needs such as oil changes and new ball joints. And have always been treated fair by Tim. Last two times I went to Merlin was because I was experiencing Ac issues and explained that it was a faulty wire as it is a common problem with my vehicle year make and model. They refused to listen and gave me a quote for $500 and the General manager Arin/Aron gave me attitude. I went back about 2 months later because my truck was experiencing drag. The general manager told Tim if he charged me twice it would be $0 the general manager said He always comes to this place and spends zero I will not return to Merlin and will promote other mechanics instead. cheap labor rates but they will charge almost double for the part .

Ive gone to this place three times and they always try to rip me off. Two days ago, I went in for a transmission fluid flush. Going into it, my fluid was dark brown, completely burnt and in need of replenishment. An hour later they give me my car back saying they flushed 14 quarts (I have a 9 quart system). I checked the fluid before I even left the parking lot, the color was exactly the same just lighter. Not the bright color it should be. I called Tim Hinchley to the parking lot to look at it and he just lied through his teeth about additives and whatever else the mechanics supposedly did to it. I went to a dealership to get a second opinion and sure enough they said that it was not done well at all. Especially considering how much they say they flushed through. I am DONE with this place! Three strikes, theyre out! They should fire Tim and hire more honest people. Hes ruining the face of the company with his dishonesty.

Always a great experience. I work at a dealership and can get service done at cost by fully-certified ASE techs who I know personally. However, being that its my wifes car in need of maintenance or repairs, its not the most convenient to switch cars. So I brinh hers here. Been bringing cars to Arun for 27 years now. I trust them to do the work right and theyll discuss with me options and severity honestly.Keep it up - good to have you in the neighborhood!

Horrible service, went to get a wheel barring fixed on my car and got installed wrong. I went back and they told me that it was fine and that I instead needed to get a new brake rotor, brake disc and tie end, when I had already fix that myself before even taking to them. So I went to get 3 other professional opinions and was told that it was the wheel barring that they had fixed so I went back again and they refused to do anything with the car, refused to even check it, refused to return me the money I paid or to even re apply the part the correct way. Got attitude from from the man at the desk about it. Horrible service DO NOT go here. They will fix your car wrong and tell you its something else to have you spend more money. Extreamly unreliable.

Just like several other repair shops around this area they seem to have forgotten what their job actually is.People dont bring their cars in for a mechanic to swap parts, they bring it in to have a problem actually get fixed. And just as I assumed would happen, they failed to fix the problem the first time and want to charge even more money to hopefully, possibly, maybe get it right the second time around? Completely unprofessional.I will be sure that any vehicles I may need repairs on in the future will not be going to this place.

We had been going there for 2 years and suddenly a break job cost $1,300. Went to another place and they said we weren’t even 50% through our breaks yet. Very disappointed!

3 times they tried and did rip me off. Told me my battery was bad but I had it tested at the auto parts store and was perfect. They told me the washer motor was bad, had it replaced and later found out after I had the problem that it was the nozzles. They glued my cracked nozzle so I would have some pressure but the glue came apart again. I bought new nozzles and it works better than ever.Have other shops check your vehicle before they do any work. They are no better than the Merlin on Army Trail.

So Tim, you tried to rip my mom off the other day. You are a very DISHONEST Person. You tried to sell her a service repair for almost $500.00 for replacing an altenator on a 96 chevy cavelier. You told her that the altenator which you quoted her at $350.00 was not a part that was readily available anymore. Thats completely false. Also you told her she gets a senior discount. Really.... wheres that? somewhere in that $500.00 service you tried to sell her. I picked up the altenator from the parts store, $94.00. they had it on hand, on the shelf. I installed it in 20 minutes . Disconnect +battery cable, serpentine belt, two electrical connections, and 3 bolts holding the altenator in place. This is the reason why people do not trust mechanics. You thought you were going to steal money from a 77 yr old woman. Wrong !! No Merlins you can not fix this and my mother will no longer be doing buisness with your company anymore. My advise to other people .... seek out a local mechanic, one who does his work out of his garage, not these chain service centers.

WHERE DO I START !!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE Wanted to get my muffler checked for noise and they told me its a hour wait just for workers doing simple oil changes !!!! And then finally when they pulled in my car to check for the problem TIM said my exaust is good its MY ENGINE IS ABOUT TO GO OUT AND MY ENGINE IS SCRAP TIM SAID WE CAN REPLACE IT FOR 3900 AND KEPT ASKING ME FOR WHEN WOULD I BRING IT IN TO GET DONE AND GOT UPSET WHEN I SAID I WANT A SECOND OPINION.. i took my car to toyota and paid 100 to get it checked out and they said its my exaust manifold and engine is great and been taken care of great ... so i called tim and told him the news and he went off at me and hung up the phone because he knew he was trying to rip me off and told me toyota mechanics dont know what there doing !!!!

Worst car service ever. Had me wait 2 hours. For a mistake they did. They strip oil pan and oil drain plug.dont bringing your vehicle here. Sample as an oil change and they cant get it right. Imagine your engines repairs

I had my car oil changed here - the service was prompt and the price was reasonable.

These guys charged me 60 bucks to run an obd scanner! They wanted to diagnose my car and kept me waiting for hours.If you need obd scanner service go to autozone and get it done for free.
