Great experience! Found a nail in my tire an hour before work. Called some local places who all seemed unwilling to help me quickly. Jason was the only person who offered timely service. Within 40 min I was there, got the tire fixed and was on my way to work. Jason was the one who helped me directly but all the employees seemed hardworking and willing to help. Also very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I had my vehicle towed to Car-X a few weeks ago after my vehicle had two flat front tires. Both of my tires were replaced right after they received my car. I received great customer service from Jason and the mechanic who worked on my car for the tire replacement and wheel alignment. Jason did a great job keeping me up to date with the repairs to my car. He suggested services that should be done to keep me safe. I had a budget and he was right there.

I got an alignment on my vehicle and they parked my car too far back and the Exhaust was pinned up on the curb and my exhaust was crushed and dented when I told the employee in the lobby he said it was fine and ran inside to take a phone call, I am very disappointed in this CarX for not taking care of my vehicle, I won’t be giving them my business again.

Had a frozen lug nut that Discount Tire could not remove and they recommended Car-X for this service. Jason answered the phone and told me he would help and that I should come right on in. They bought my car in and started on replacing the bad stud promptly and had me back on the road safely and was able to return to Discount Tire to complete the installation of 4 new tires all in the same morning. Jason and the Car-X team were prompt and professional and I will recommend them to anyone needing car repairs.

Called to set an appt for an oil change. They told me where they were(a block west of Barrington Rd.) An hour later, Kevin greeted me, got my car and oil change was finished 20-25 minutes later. I even bought the 3 oil change package because of the savings. Friendly and Personable. Great experience. A few months later, Went back to get the 2nd oil change and was told there would be a 39.95 surcharge. I said no, I bought a 3 oil change package. It is paid in full. This was not Kevin. We argued back and forth and I ended up getting my oil change but sacrificing my 3rd paid for oil change. Way to honor your commitment to customers, Car-x.

I had my oil changed about a month ago and all the oil in my car either dried up or leaked out and the manager was awesome enough to check our oil and visually check for leaks. I purchased a used 2010 Toyota Corolla S, and brought it to this Car-X location for its inaugural oil change and a general vehicle inspection. The manager, Kevin, indicated a strong familiarity of my vehicle and walked me through every step of the vehicle inspection process. He and his assistant manager, also a service technician, did a fantastic job of explaining everything that they saw with my vehicle. I am very pleased with the level of service that I received, and was blown away by the excellent customer service and concierge that I received from this Car-X location. I will definitely return in the future!Review revised on May 27, 2016: Manager Kevin no longer works at this business, and the new management could not care any less about their customers vehicles. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY. There are plenty of better businesses in the immediate area.

**Updating my review based on the fact I had a small issue w the brakes which were installed on my vehicle (squeaking) and Pete went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved and even upgraded my pads for me when we couldn’t resolve the issue with my current pads. We will be returning to this shop as long as Pete is there next time!**My husband and I have been coming to this location for about six years, maybe even seven. We’ve taken about four different cars to this location during that time. I kept insisting we come here any time something is wrong with our vehicles because of the amazing service and great prices I feel that I receive every time I come. The gentlemen always went out of their way to explain things to me and even sat with me one day when I was waiting and showed me an app that I could use to track all of my maintenance and repairs on my car. To this day, I use that app.However, today they fell short. The gentlemen who were there did provide friendly service and Jerry made sure to answer the many questions that I had, since there were quite a few things I wanted looked at. The negative experience started when I was quoted over $900 for brakes (pads, rotors, calipers serviced). I have never in my life paid that much for brakes and I really felt I was being taken advantage of.Luckily, my husband remembered that I purchased brakes for this car back in 2016 and I looked back through my app (thanks to the one Carx employee in 2016) and discovered I did in fact purchase brakes, rotors, calipers, and they were under warranty! I was provided with a new quote and they replaced my brakes ($180 later). However, I can’t shake this feeling of almost having to pay over $900 for some brakes. Obviously, I would have probably quoted the work somewhere else but just finding the time to bring my car in today was difficult and took me weeks to plan. Very disappointing and now my husband wants to find a new shop.
