My husband and I worked with Kevin O’Connor, Anthony, and another Kevin. All three of these gentleman where phenomenal. They where quick, informative and made sure to get us the best deal! I traded in a car and got a MAJOR upgrade with all the bells and whistles! When I need a car for my children or just another car in general I will not go anywhere else but to Sheehy with those three men mentioned above. Last time, I went to the Martinsburg Buick Dealership knowing I had an AC leak somewhere and they kept my car for 3 hours then called me and said they couldn’t find the leak so they just recharged it (EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS A LEAK) and charged me $350 for that. NEVER GO TO THE BUICK DEALERSHIP IN MARTINSBURG, they will take all your money and not fix anything.After that I decided to give Sheehy Buick GMC a chance and I was very impressed with their service. Same day they called me to tell me they found the leak, gave me an estimate of price and had it ready for me for a VERY decent price. I recommend this place and I will be taking my car back if I find any issues.

I spent 821 dollars for labor and replacement of hv blower fan. Bogus “environmental fee” $35. It’s a wire harness. I though it wasn’t to much to ask to get a courtesy car wash and/or vacuum inside the vehicle. Maybe I m off base???…

NOT SO HAPPY 4th of JULY!DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE! Both the sale manager JT and Robbie from finance hung the phone up on me after saying that they DO NOT HAVE TIME TO TALK! This business has poor customer service!I purchased a new truck 5 months ago and still have unresolved issues (1) My name was spelled incorrectly on the Title and I had to go to the DMV to get corrected myself. (2) The dealership refused to title my truck in Texas even though I am active duty military. (3) ROBBIE from finance promised to refund the service plan that only works on east coast if the military moved my family. When the Military did give me orders to move the dealership continued to delay refunding my service plan.The dealership only cares about selling you a car and taking your money. THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE MILITARY. After the sale they will not return any of your calls. Stay away from this place!

Delt with Wes (he was great, this post is NOT about him), my wife and I were looking at the new Acadia. Before we committed we told them where we wanted our payments so wes went and told hia finance guy and he said that he was ready to make a deal! We proceeded to go through with the credit application, once we did everything came back good and we were told that our payments would be $100 more a month than what we said we wantes to be at, after telling them we would meet in the middle They were absolutely not willing to make a deal as promised before we ran our credit. He gave us no more of a discount than what was advertised. I understand it is what is ot but dont promise me that you will get to where we want our payments and then do nothing to help us get there once we run our credit. We are VERY disappointed in this experience and will not recommend this place to any of our friends/family

Service rep Chuck was rude and failed to explain the issues with my 1989 GMC truck in a knowledgeable way. The repairs according to Chuck were beyond the garage capabilities and the quote ranged from $300 for a brake line “patch”, $700 for a single brake line replacement up to $1,500 Rear brake replacement With constant “that may not be the problem” comments. Took to united auto garage in chambersburg And on the phone they said they did these repairs multiple times per week on older trucks. Full fix cost was $190.

Showed up to buy a car. Knew what we wanted. The car price was more than the carfax and not negotiable. That was fine. But then they shared my credit information with my fiance. Im pretty sure there is legal problems with that but I might be wrong. The interest rate was insane. They had to run our credit at least 3 times which means a serious ding to my credit. We were not offered water. We were rarely checked on over a 3 hour period. I will not be returning. I give it a 2 because the salesman was polite even though he still seemed to talk down to me but not my fiance. The interest rate was insane and over all Im displeased by the service.

Not very happy with the service department at the sheehy auto plaza. I made an appointment Monday and when asked if the part had been ordered my answer was “no” therefore I then scheduled an appointment on Thursday with the perception that the part would be in and service would be completed. Instead I sat in the waiting area for almost an hour to then be told the part was ordered and no service was performed. Not sure that I needed to be present for a part to be ordered I feel as if it could have been done over the phone and I could’ve have went and got service then but no just wasted my afternoon for absolutely nothing.

I had a noise in the rear drive train in my 2017 GMC 2500 HD truck, which was still under warranty. I thought maybe a wheel bearing, but it turned out to be a nut came loose inside the hub which let a key fall out and got ground up in the rear end. So the whole housing was replaced with all new parts that was damaged. Thanks for the honest work, Sheehy of Hagerstown MD

I have a 2018 GMC sierra that had broke down on me and wouldn’t startI called On star had it towed to Sheehy GMC I was not able to contact anybody because it was later in the evening I called in and spoke with Jeff in service and he insured me that my truck would be done that the same day I called him 7:30 in the morning he said he would get in and get it looked at and then he called me at 11:30 before lunch and it was finished very happy with the service and with Jeff as well. It was a very pleasant experience. Please Ask for Jeff if u have any issues. Great guy

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Sharrett, with the help of my sales associate, Jon Silver. Jon was very responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to shoot and get me numerous photos and videos of the car, beyond the pics available on the web. Being an out of state buyer, these additional photos and videos really helped me to feel comfortable before making the trip to Maryland. Jon arranged for preparation of most all of the paperwork in advance of my trip to Maryland and to the dealership, so things went smoothly upon my arrival at the dealership. I am very happy with the car, and my purchase experience.

They do not honor their extended contract. Been paying for oil changes for years and they should have been free. When I said something years ago I was told I was wrong. Now they tell me I was right. Not even able to refund 2 oil changes, even though I paid for 5+. Terrible business especially to a 100% Disabled Veteran.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!! They do not deserve the 1 star that I was forced to give them in order to post this review. We were trying to buy a Truck every day since 8/8/2020. Koty Messenger was our salesman. We were given multiple excuses, even though the truck was already listed by them, they told us it needed to be state Inspected. They couldnt do any paperwork or money down on the truck because it wasnt inspected. Every day we kept calling throughout the day about this truck. Finally they let us start to do the paperwork on the truck, and we wanted to come in that evening on 8/11/2020 and Koty told us the truck wouldnt be ready until the next morning. Koty was suppose to call us first thing in the morning on 8/12/2020 to come in, and hell have everything ready to go and sign/ finalize the paperwork for the 2014 Ram. We had to call 3 times, left a message for Koty, he finally called us back at 9:30am and Sheehy was selling the truck from underneath us to another person. I have been in contact with the general manager Anthony and other corporate Sheehy personnel and they have done nothing to right this wrong. My husband is still waiting for an apology, and because they had already did the credit process and inquiries on him his credit score took a 5 point hit. I would expect this from a no name car dealership, but we did not expect this shady practice from Sheehy. I got my 2015 GMC Sierra here. Sales person was wrong about future upgrade coming for Android Auto, so Im stuck with a truck that will never have this. And they wont do anything to fix it. Maybe Ill go back, maybe I wont.

My experience was great at Sharrett. Rhonda was our salesperson and she was fantastic. She was very polite and not pushy and she even came out to greet us when we arrived, which is very rare nowadays. I noticed lately by visiting different dealerships, that most sales people just sit inside and wait for you to come to them, but not here at Sharrett. Also, I received a great deal on my trade-in and also a great deal on the new vehicle I purchased . I will definitely shop here again when I purchase my next vehicle. By the way, the Service Department is also excellent. I drive out of my way to do my oil changes there.

Arriving to Sharrett i looked around and spotted a BEAUTIFUL red sierra and spoke with ADAM about my situation and what i need in order to move into a new truck. After driving the Sierra my wife and i fell in love and wanted to be a payment we felt was worth the price. The service department screwed up the electrical system in my Acadia while doing a simple battery change. The vehicle was dropped off in perfect working order. The minute I brought it home from the dealership, I noticed things werent right. I tried to start it and it wouldnt turn over - after having that brand new battery installed, mind you. I took it back. They looked it over and said there was nothing wrong. More often than not, the vehicle wouldnt start. The headlights and tail lights shut off while driving in the dark, nearly causing me to be rear-ended. The radio and interior lights didnt work. The locks would randomly go up and down while at the same time the headlights would start flashing. Everything connected to the electrical system was on the fritz. Once I finally got them to admit an obvious issue, they refused to accept responsibility and told me this kind of thing happens for no reason. The very day I got it back from the service dept, it had major issues but thats all coincidental according to Sharrett. Sure. It ended up costing me hundreds of dollars in repairs. The only positive to this experience is that I found another local dealership that I have been more than happy with. I will NEVER return to Sharrett.

Overall a great group of people to deal with. They worked on trade in value of my car better than any dealership around. They acted like they wanted my business, not like other dealerships that offered 5k less. I didnt have to haggle for 8 hours either. Ive been in to many dealerships and this was the quickest Ive been in and out honestly. Only problem and reason for the 4 stars. It took them a while to fix a gash in my passenger mirror. They did it the first time and were sloppy and you could tell. They fixed it for me and gave me a free set of bed lights for my inconvenience. If you need a vehicle, this is one of the best local dealers around.

I walked in knowing what I wanted from their lot and they worked with me until I was satisfied. After a few hours I drove off the lot with a new 2014 GMC Sierra. I have been driving it for over six weeks now and love how it drives. I also took it to the mountains and it handled fantastically (went up steep mountain road that a Ford F150 could not get up) I love my truck! The folks at Sharrett were wonderful. Ben was great and did what he could. However, my 8 speed adaptive transmission, I believe, was malfunctioning. He said for the second time, that there were no software upgrades, or any thing that could be done. So I traded it in on a Toyota Tundra the next day.

I had my Buick Enclave in there because the passenger mirror would not go back out after having them folded in while at work. We took it in to Sharrett to see if it was covered under warranty for one, of course it wasnt. I still to this day so NOT know what is covered under our warranty when so far all of the electrical stuff we had it in the shop for, were not covered. We were even told at the time of purchasing the car, that the warranty helps with the electrical problems (if covered on the warranty). Again, what is covered??? Second, they told my husband that it would be $600.00 to get the mirror fixed as we would have to buy the whole mirror not just the mirror. Plus, we would have to have the mirror painted as well to match the car. Nope, not paying $600.00 for that. After getting in the car and seeing greasy, dirty shoe marks on my floor, looked over and saw they put the mirror back to where it should have been originally. So, how did it get back to normal of it was to cost $600.00?? We get home, my husband quickly pulls up the mirror on Google and does fast research to find out that all had happened was, it was bumped by someone or something. It ended up being past the flexible point where you can just bounce it back. It took him two minutes to figure this our and take care of it himself. Now the mirror works better than ever before. Soooooo, did it really cost $600.00 to fix it?! Well, you can answer that just based off of what I have written. We literally had ZERO problems when Chris was the Manager at Sharrett. Now, nothing but problems and people that just want your money. While I am at it, why was my floor crazy greasy and dirty? There should have been a mat down like every other time my car has been there!!!!!! Yep, I thought I would make this a public post instead of voicing my thoughts that day to management. Very disappointed and will not use Sharrett when I dont have too.

We had scheduled our 2008 GMC Yukon for service in order to check an engine light, fix an arm rest, look at a severed wire on our DVD system and to get an oil change. We had purchased an extended warranty a year and a half ago when we purchased the vehicle from Sharrett. The appointment was scheduled on a Tuesday but the dealership couldnt get us in until Thursday. When we did get the vehicle in on Thursday we were informed later in the day by Ryan Barker, the service consultant, that there was some major work that needed to be done. In all about $5000 worth of work. I felt OK until he told me that we had gone over our maximum mileage that was allowed in the warranty by just 20 miles. My heart sank. I had lost my job a few months earlier and had still found no employment. I remember thinking, what are we going to do. However, without missing a beat, Ryan said he was going to work for us and try and get the warranty company to fix the mechanical issues at the very least. All said and done, Ryan and his service manager, Jeff Braitman, were successful in getting the warranty company to cover ALL of the repairs, even the arm rest and DVD player. To elevate even more stress for us, Ryan even got us a nice loner to use for the entire week while they had our car. Ryan and his boss went above and beyond for us when they certainly did not have to. There hard work was an amazing blessing to us. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who has lost trust in the the car dealership or dealership repair sector. These guys are a class act and should be commended! God bless them, Doug

Loved our salesperson she was amazing. I would have give a 5 star but the financial lady was just like the expected car salesperson trying push as much stuff on you that you know you dont need but she trys to make you feel like an idiot when you say I dont want that.

This is the only car dealer to whom I have ever taken any of my vehicles, be they GM, Ford or Chrysler, for service other than warranty; everything from my 1990 Corvette ZR1 to my Ford Taurus. They fix it right the first time. The price, for a dealership, is reasonable and I definitely feel Im getting what I pay for. Its nice to know I can depend on Sharretts for all of my auto service needs.

Wanda Bennett and Christine Morral really took a load off my shoulders when they helped me purchase a used Buick Regal. My car had been declared totaled by the insurance company after being in an accident. It was an older car so I was to receive very little cash back. I saw the Buick on the internet, I knew Buicks were good cars if taken good care of. Wanda, with the help of Christine was able to put me in the drivers seat at a price I could afford. I own a Mazda CX7. I received a recall letter pertaining to passenger side airbags. I called the dealership and after speaking with a service manager I scheduled an appointment to handle the recall. When I arrived for my appointment I was told the recall could not be handled at this time. So why in the world would they have scheduled the appointment. I had to jump through hoops as did the parents of the children I care for to be able to get to the appointment. Since I do carry other peoples children in my vehicle, safety is a priority. I was certainly inconvenienced as were my customers. I do not like to treat my customers this way and I would think this dealership would feel the same. The purpose of my service appointment was made clear to the gentleman I spoke with so I dont understand this miscommunication. This is not acceptable and I am very disappointed with this dealership.

We purchased from Preston and it was an awesome experience! There was no pressure, he answered all the questions we had, we went the first time only to loo,k but we knew that we wouldnt get a better deal or be treated better anywhere else so we bought an awesome truck! We even said we were going to another dealer to look at a truck and Preston was not bothered because he was confindent in what he was selling! (We never went to that other dealer, we knew they wouldnt beat the deal we were getn) 😆awesome place, awesome people!

The truck was repaired as far as I know. I was told when I made the appointment that the air bag recall would also be completed however they still do not have the parts. My wifes car at another dealer has received their air bag parts. When will GMC get theirs?
