The car business is a tough one and It’s hard to please everyone, but my experience with Gresham Dodge/Ram/Jeep service was exceptionally bad. I purchased a new Ram 1500 in 2019 and it has not been a great truck, but that is Dodge’s problem. However, when my less than 2 year old, 39k mile truck needed repair, I had my local mechanic do what they could, but we quickly realized we needed the dealership to step in. We took the truck to Gresham Dodge and that’s when bad became worse.They literally REFUSED to work on the truck because they weren’t the first place I took it to. True story. On top of that, the staff, led by Keith, was extremely unprofessional and not at all willing to consider diagnosing the problem and effect a repair. Additionally, this place is in violation of Oregon’s mask mandate. Set side how I might feel about mask mandate, but as a small business owner, I have to comply. So should a prominent dealer like this. Avoid Gresham Dodge, you’ll thank me for it.

Maguire is an awesome sales rep, I would give him my business again. However, his leadership has fallen short. I ordered my new Rubicon and was given a good deal, but it came with a price. I was given a Jeep with scuffs and scratches which now has an active case with FCA. I can’t blame Gresham but they refuse to remedy it as they’ve told me it’s from the delivery handlers. Based on lack of judiciousness, I’d recommend talking to another dealership. See pictures for proof.****Update, see their response below. Come talk to us. You call me, you have my number, I’ve been dealing with Maguire. As evidence in their lack of care, you can instantly tell they only respond here. Pretending to care but don’t actually reach out to you.****

I received wonderful customer service from Steve Simmons and Darrell Turnipseed!Both Steve and Darrell were patient, kind, and professional throughout my long decision making process.Steve and Darrell answered my questions quickly and thoroughly. Gresham Dodge was also the only local dealership that had all of the 2021 Jeep models including the Jeep Wrangler Sahara available for test drive! I cant wait to get my new Jeep (my second Wrangler Sahara Unlimited). Im grateful for such a positive experience!

These guys are amazing! Went in today to purchase a used truck and these guys did everything they possibly could to get me a deal I was happy with. I do not have the greatest credit profile and I already have an active auto loan, even with all that against me they worked diligently to work something out. After a while we came to a deal. But they went another step further and said forget that deal. And got me another approval with an even lower interest rate and an extended warranty included! The salesman Art was the highlight of my entire day he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met … Tate, Luke, and James were also amazing. I have bought quite a few cars from a bunch of different dealerships from here in Oregon all they way to Florida. And none of them top this place. Honestly cannot recommend them enough. Will definitely be returning for all my future purchases!

First part was great. Window regulator broke on my car. Service department was able to get it fixed the next day. Super happy about theat.What i am not happy about is the 400% markup on the part to fix the window!!!! Found the part for $80 online and was charged $355. I am pretty sure the parts department didnt pay even $80. This is why i next to refuse to use dealership service centers. Scam scam

It’s rare to find a service department with good customer service. Today I found that when I had my regular service for my car. Aisha was personable and maintained great service despite being very busy. I also spoke with two other reps; I didn’t get their names but the guy behind her and the blond woman all the way on the right. They were also friendly and showed genuine concern with my issue and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this service department.

So last night I bought a truck! I was in one of those weird positions that I had a great vehicle but kind of needed a truck, so I was looking to buy one but I was in no urgent need to get one. Gresham CDJR had a truck that had all of the options I was looking for and a few that were nice. Travis my salesman was pretty cool, honest and non pressuring. We discussed that if this wasnt the right truck with the right numbers, then it wasnt the time and Travis understood that, there was no pressure to buy no pressure to make a decision.Well they were able to find a number that worked for me, and lets me honest worked for my wife, and worked for them. And I drove away in a new Ram 1500.I would like to thank Travis and the crew last night for making my truck buying experience a pleasant one and if years down the road it become time to look for something in the 3/4 ton, I will be checking out your inventory.

Our financial person we were assigned to was not very nice, we felt discriminated against during most of the process not sure if he thought we couldnt afford the car or what - we paid with a check- so I understand what his problem was. Super unhappy at the moment I took my truck to get a diagnosis because it was leaking oil, I let a man name Keith know my heater and the back door locks were not working and when I went to get my truck he charged me $533 i was fine with paying for the cost of diagnosis about the oil leak but he also charged me 150 to tell me the heater was not working even after I let him know when I dropped it off and he charged me $150 for the door locks he didn’t fix them . He didn’t fix the heater nor the door locks just basically charged me to tell me there not working even after I let him know and on the paper work it says I let him know as well. Super disappointed.

If I could rate lower I would. I have been a loyal, brand promoting, customer of Dodge for over a decade and find myself disheartened and disappointed. When I purchased my truck from Dodge, brand new, I went against my better judgement and purchased the several thousand dollar warranty. I entrusted my hard earned thousands to a company that promised to take care of manufacturer flaws in the product that I had purchased from them (which should go without extra purchasing). I have gone to the dealerships for every service and every recall. Yet, when I needed to call upon the promise they gave me in my warranty, I was told it was null and void. Apparently, I missed some arbitrary inspection ten years after purchase. I was given no reminder of the need for this inspection, nor did it have any barring on the quality of care of my vehicle (being they did all maintenance). I thought Dodge/Mopar was different, I thought they were better... I was wrong. I got nothing for my money. They even gave and charged me for an erroneous inspection that they knew was not covered. I went to another mechanic for the manufacturer flawed repair I needed and found that the diagnosis, I payed for, was incorrect. It is unethical and unconscionable to me that a company practice business like this. If you have a warranty with any affiliated company please check it and read the fine print. Your warranty, the one you payed for, might not be available to you when you need it.

Was there for a new electronic key. Got right in and they finished in less than an hour. They had to program the key to the truck. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Had the opportunity to look over a beautiful new metallic black TRX. Pretty impressive. Ill definitely go back for future service.

I wouldnt recommend this place or if you go make sure you get a salesman who knows what they are talking about and not just trying to sell you everything on the lot. The salesman we had, had no idea what he was talking about! Couldnt speak to anything about the trucks I was looking at. By the time we left the sales manager was running out the door after us. The last ditch desperate feeling just seems super sleazy. Just be honest when we are in the showroom... dont come running after my car when Im leaving.

After two months of not hearing from our salesman we stopped back in & talk to Pat. Pat has been our only positive experience at this dealership. He took down my information and details of what I was looking for & told me he would keep an eye out & definitely let us know. After about 2 weeks his second text was exactly what we were looking for. We ended up buying it the next morning knowing that it still needed to be detailed, but they assured us that they had already done a full inspection on it and everything was roadworthy.We made an appt & drop my car off via the overnight drop off. The next day around two I decided to go by and see if it was ready. When I got there my car was parked in one of the customer parking spaces & seemed like it was done.The lady was nice, and asked if They had called me to let me know its done and I said no I was just checking. She said its probably gonna be about 45 minutes you can either come back or if youd like you can wait. I decided to wait & an hour later she comes running out panicked looking for me to let me know oh my gosh your car was done when you got here Im so sorry you waited. I told her my car has been out front since I got here and she said why didnt you tell me. The service workers didnt tell me it was done. Its not my job to tell you if its done, you should know that, you work here. Whatever not the biggest issue.We got an appointment to have our local mechanic look the car over. Probably the best choice we ever made. First the radiator is leaking, seems like its from thecap. I decide to just buy a new cap and not worry about that. But the lower valve cover gasket is also leaking! I cannot believe that, one they didnt find the super obvious leak. My mechanic had it up on the lift and it was ridiculously obvious. And 2 that they would sell it with a valve cover gasket leak. we went in &!they said make an appointment to check it out & they would let us know whats going on. So we do overnight drop off, my apt was for 7 AM . I asked them at that time if once they inspect my vehicle theyll give me a call & let me know whats going on, the guy working assured me that they would. At 5:22 I got a voicemail and text at the same time saying that my car is ready for pick up. The text message also says they are open from 8 AM to 5 PM. So you literally wait until youre closed to give me any feedback at all which is almost no feedback. Great. So the next day once Im off work I headed to get my car. The poor girl working the front service desk is new and shes having trouble finding my car in the system. There are two younger mechanic men sitting behind her desk doing nothing. And they are suggesting how she should find it but also saying that they dont know how. So basically just making it harder for her. At that point the two young men realized oh we never touch that car and one of them says that was Keith and then proceeds to laugh. I said its unacceptable to be talking about a customers car and then reference the person who worked on it and laugh as if now theres something wrong with their car. Thats not OK. The man who said it just looked away and didnt respond and the other young man said oh sorry. The young lady still could not find my car, but shes new so its understandable. Another lady came over to help and said that it looks like its been cashed out. So we went over to the cashier and she couldnt find it in the system either. So the first lady went and did some thing and figured out that its all cash out I dont have to pay anything. But then they didnt know where my keys were. So they ran around trying to figure it out & realize they were at the front desk in case I came in late the day before to pick it up, although no one told me that I could come in after 5 PM. So now its basically a waiting game to see if this oil leak is actually fixed.

If only I could give a lower rating. Long story short, we’ve been giving Gresham Dodge our business for many years and after terrible business practices, they’ll receive it no more. Check the fine print on your warranties and get a second diagnosis on any issues. Businesses need to be transparent and held accountable for unethical business practices. If you want an honest business, find another company or independent auto shop.

I call to order replacement keys I was told it will take a week I call 9 days later parts department said parts are in forward me to service department who said come on in how about the next day say 9 or 10. I said see you there I called at 9 AM to say I am running late maybe 9.30 I was who did I talk to I dont know we dont just schedule like that and besides you need to leave your car over night in a very rude manner.All I wanted to do was to bring you business it was a test to see if I could trust this business.

Dealers rarely shine to me. It’s a place I have to go for a new vehicle, and like all businesses...they have to make money. Top that with there being a microchip shortage at the moment so truck inventory is at historical lows.I found the truck I wanted, but over 100 mikes away in Eugene. My employer participates in a discount purchasing program that I wanted to take advantage of, and after driving nearly two hours to test drive the truck, I was told (nicely!) that they just couldn’t honor the program due to high demand right now. I was disappointed to say the least. I drove back to Portland empty handed. I then reached out to Gresham Dodge/Ram. Not only did they manage to convince Litia in Eugene to allow them to trade and get the truck I wanted, they also drove down and brought it back from Eugene. More importantly, they honored my discount program. They didn’t have to, they made next to no money on the deal, and I still got the amazing service they provide to customers promising a more profitable transaction.Special thanks to Mac Conklin and the staff for making our experience amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Caveat emptor, buyer beware: in July 2021 I helped my new high school graduate use his/our hard-earned $20K buy a used Toyota truck with Zurich Car Protection plan from Gresham Chrysler/Dodge. Upon purchase, everything seemed ok with the car including a quick pre-purchase check at Orient Auto repair shop, and we drove away feeling confident, especially since we bought the Protection plan from the dealer.The truck drove well but got poor MPG on the way home (hours away), and then it started to have problems and check lights went off the morning after purchase. It fully broke down the next day.The disappointing part is not so much the truck breaking down, but rather how the dealers staff interacted with us on it. We wasted a lot of time trying to get the dealers finance department to clarify what the Zurich plan would cover, just trying to get them on the phone or get them to respond to voice messages...this strung out over weeks. The salesman was responsive, and insisted that the problem was likely us putting bad gas into the car (in spite of this being unlikely). The problems turned out to be mechanical air/emissions related including O2 sensors, and after a week wasted trying to deal with this dealer and Zurich, we paid a large un-reimbursed amount to have our mechanic fix the car.Along the way, the salesman assured us that problems like this are opportunities for the dealer to provide the customer with good service and stand out among the competition. The salesman stated that either Zurich or the dealer would cover the repair, and eventually the Zurich policy was declared to not cover anything that has to do with emissions. The dealer did nothing to help us and in fact we wasted a lot of time and effort trying to get help from the dealer in terms of what the Protection plan was about and how we should move forward. The few communications were cordial, but none of the calls brought a conclusion. Each time they said not to worry, they would call us back with answers, but only called the once to say Zurich was in the right (we should have known this upon purchase). Most notably, they asked for our repair invoice and stated they would get back to us on how the dealer was going to help out with it. After a month, I am left to conclude that they are passively declining...to bad they couldnt give me a straight answer so that we can all move on.I understand that the truck was sold as is and that problems with a used car may not be detected by a dealer selling the car and that the buyer assumes some risk. However, this dealer was not honest with us, and spun our wheels and wasted our time by asking us to call around to their different departments (pass the buck around) and repeatedly being unresponsive when we needed a path forward to a drivable car.

Found online and it seemed to be the only one around town in stock of the bikini metallic color, a beautiful turquoise. Test drove July 9th. Really liked it. Biggest concerns were the strong interior smell and the panoramic sun roof shade doesnt fully block sun. Researched a week. Mac listened to my concerns and patiently answered all my questions. Test drove again 16th, and decided to buy. Paid $29K plus $969.50 for privelege and CAT tax, title registration DEQ gray whale plate fees, and document processing fee. Financed through my credit union. Absolutely recommend Mac. If you cannot stomach high-pressure salespersons, Mac is your guy! I bought my 2021 Jeep Wrangler unlimited last month and worked with Pat, Tylor and Mike. Unfortunately due to my work hours and the commute, I didn’t get to the dealership until 30 mins prior to close. I didn’t go there with the intention to buy yet, I was just looking around and wanted to test drive some Jeeps. Pat was very friendly and was more than happy to help me, despite me coming in close to closing time. We ended up test driving the Jeep and I decided that I wanted to buy. I then worked with Tylor and Mike for the financial portion and they were just as great to work with. They were friendly and worked with me through the whole process, understood where I was comfortable financially and ultimately made it work. I will also point out that they ALL stayed until almost MIDNIGHT to make this happen for me and they all kept great attitudes throughout the whole process. I had to go back and forth to the dealership a couple days post purchase for a couple things (because I had wanted to make changes to a few things) and they were just as friendly and accessible at those follow up visits.I will go on to say that my boyfriend has also been considering buying a four door wrangler or a gladiator. Due to the chip shortage, we have been shopping around at other dealerships to find what we were looking for for him. First horrible experience came from the sales team at Ron Tonkin Jeep in Milwaukee. Unfortunately because of our work hours and commute, we also came in about 30 mins prior to close and they told us they were closed and refused to let us test drive. We understood that we came in close to close but a 5-10 minute test drive would have sufficed and if we had decided to buy, we would have been happy to come back the next day to do so. Needless to say, we did not go back to that dealership. Second bad experience was from a finance manager at another dealership. We understand that it’s their job to make money but when you try to hike the price up on a new Jeep $3k over what the MSRP is on the vehicle itself (the sticker was on the jeep) and then refuse to work with us on trade in value on our vehicle, this also leaves a bad taste in your mouth.Moral of the story, after visiting a few dealerships to try and buy another new vehicle, the customer service we received here at Gresham Dodge is incomparable. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market looking to buy. Not only are they friendly but they are reasonable and are willing to work with you to help you walk away happy. First off, Katie was amazing to deal with from start to finish. I was expecting the worst, another repair shop told me to expect thousands in repairs. Knowing this, Katie walked me through easier and cheaper options which seemed to have solved all my issues. She had Dan working on my truck and I would gladly bring it back if I ever need to. GCDJR replaced the air filter box on my Jeep Renegade a year ago due to a broken air line connector. When it broke again I returned to the dealership to inquire about warranty coverage. After much runaround, I was told by the Service Manager that they are not honoring warranties on broken parts due to the difficulties in being reimbursed by Chrysler. He advised me to contact Chrysler directly. I was shocked, but I did that, and the customer service person I spoke with (who was incredulous as well), then checked back with the service manager. However, he gave her a completely different story, saying that warranty coverage was declined because the part broke due to outside influences. The customer service person was unable to tell me what these influences were, but the part was never examined by a mechanic, so its difficult to say how the service manager came to his conclusion. I have been a GCDJR customer for years, but my advice is now to avoid this service department, if at all possible.Update (7/21/2021): Im not sure how to respnd to the owner who left a reply, so Ill do it here. I appreciate your followup, but I wont be calling. Your Service Manager was supposed to call Me after we spoke, but never did. I ended up going to another dealership (Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Portland), and they took all of five minutes to honor the warranty and order a part for me, which arrived the following day. Their service was amazing and if you are looking to improve your dealership, I suggest that you contact them to learn how they do it. They have earned a customer, and you have lost one. All over a $350 part.

Keith, Kevin and the rest of the team at Gresham Jeep have done a great job keeping my 245,000 mile Wrangler happy! On a recent visit I asked them to check out the suspension, expressing concerns about tie rod ends and ball joints. They could easily have sold me both, but found the problem to be much simpler and less expensive than that. I appreciate their honesty and I’ve always been pleased with the outcome of the work they’ve done. This is a great group of people to work with!

Took my 2015 Challenger in for a noise in the rear end that was appraised at anywhere between 2 and 7thousand dollars to repair at a different shop in Oregon City that does transmission and rear end work. I explained to Katie at Gresham Dodge about the noise and she was a very good listener and very easy to talk to. Dan Meyers was the tech that inspected my vehicle. He did hear the noise and suggested that instead of spending several thousand dollars that we try and change the differential fluid and see what happens. Well Dan was 100% right! My rear end no longer makes noise and i saved several thousand dollars!! Thank you Gresham Dodge and all the people in the service dept for your excellent work!!

Keith took care of my vehicle needs for a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle had developed a horrible humming sound driving at higher speeds. It was discovered to be the rear diff which was covered under my warranty. The most appreciated part was that Keith communicated with me on the status of my vehicle over several weeks. When I arrived the day the pickup I was given a temporary vehicle for several hours since I had to coordinate a ride to get to the dealership. It was much appreciated and would suggest Keith be given a nice Christmas Bonus because as a result I will be returning with the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee for future work along with the 2020 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon and he may see service from me in the future since we are considering a Jeep Gladiator.

Our purchase experience back in 2017 was OK. The salesman (dont recall his name) was nice, but the finance guy back then wasnt so great. He gave us the feeling that we were interrupting his Sunday to fill out the purchase paperwork on our Jeep. We didnt finance, so maybe the lack of kickbacks for the dealership played into it, I dont know. The first oil change experience was fine. Uneventful. We brought it back in October of 20 to have a strong coolant odor diagnosed, along with another oil change, especially since were closing in on the end of the 3Y/36K warranty in one month. Kelsey, the service writer was very pleasant, but unfortunately we were told that no leaks could be found. In the 6 months since, the odor became much worse, so I scheduled an appointment by phone with Keith. I explained the issue, and even emailed him photos of the leak that I FOUND.When I brought the vehicle in, Keith referred me to Ken, the Service Manager. Ken listened to my story, then basically said that since the vehicle is out of warranty, he could do nothing, stating that his hands were tied. He then wrote the customer service # for Stellantis on a post-it note, handed it to me and sent me on my way (!!). When I got home, I called Stellantis to take it up with them, and they informed me that our Jeep has a 5Y/100K powertrain warranty still in effect! The radiator leak, if properly diagnosed by a dealer, would be covered under this remaining powertrain warranty.Ken never bothered to mention this. Unbelievable.I immediately scheduled an appointment with Northwest Jeep, and the next week had the radiator replaced under warranty, no charge. The service experience at NW Jeep was excellent from start to finish. They have even followed up 3 times in less than a week since to make sure all was OK.Also worth noting:I was informed about the roof collapse in the service dept. before I brought our Jeep there. I would have been satisfied if Ken would have informed me accurately about the remaining warranty, and perhaps helped schedule a repair with another dealership since their service dept. is basically closed due to the roof issue, but he didnt even try.I contacted the General Manager (Jim), and he did write me back apologizing for the poor service - and to wish me luck with NW Jeep for our service appt. Glad he at least responded, but too little, too late unfortunately.We wont be back.

Service is terrible. Called ahead to schedule an appointment for my Jeep to have the seals replaced on the doors. My Jeep has been there for over 2 weeks. This not a RnR, I just need door and front window seal replaced. I have been promised calls multiple times that have not happened. Called today and you can only talk to the Service manger that took in the car. No one else can help. So another day of no information. I assume my Jeep has been sitting in the rain for two weeks collecting water but cant get any answers. My friend owns a GM Dealer and heads would fly if a customer was treated this way.
