Manager asked a customer to leave for soliciting, there was no sign that stated no solicitation . The customer refused to leave, the manger gets out of his work uniform and comes from behind the counter like he was ready to places his hands on the customer . Behavior completely unprofessional

Trade It is a really cool store!!! They offer lots of variety of things to purchase... jewelry, exercise equipment, stereo systems, gaming consoles and games, computers, surround sound systems, outdoor equipment (lawnmowers, weed eaters) televisions, kitchen appliances, movies, cell phones, bicycles...you name it!!! And you can buy items, trade items or sell items!!! They offer layaway and their customer service is excellent, in my experiences anyway!!! Prices are very reasonable and the majority of items seems to be in good condition!!! Weve made numerous purchases from Trade It and we will in the future!!!

This was highway robbery. Did not tell us that the 2 year warranty was not refundable or transferable. So they pocket $35 . Will not ever come back to this store again. Oh and I asked before getting the warranty what it all intailed. Still at that time did not tell me.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!I knew to ask about a return and the details when I made my purchase. Within 2 weeks I realized it was not what I needed and went to return and they would not give me but 80 percent back. They also call it a buy back so they can get around giving the correct tax back. I had the receipt and the box. They are not trustworthy to do any business.

Kyle and Cory were the nicest they stayed after closing to buy a Nintendo switch and TV from my son. Then charged up a Xbox headset for him to purchase. Kyle took the time to explain to him how they work and was so friendly in the process. While waited I watched Kyle deal with some of the rudest and he kept his cool. Cory (I think thats his name) he went through boxes of cables trying to find me a laptop charger and asked multiples times for else he could help us. Very friendly staff, I will definitely return.

Half of these reviews are from generally unintelligent people who dont understand that companies have certain policies. This is a great place that offers competitive prices and sells right alongside major used retailers i.e. EBay and offers extended warranties on high dollar items, something you wont find anywhere else for the price. Staff are generally very knowledgeable and wont try to BS you if they dont know it like other companies.

My experience this time at Trade It in Greenville NC could have been much better. The manager was helpful. The big guy with the long braids at the cash register is rude. He was on the phone trying to buy or sell a car while trying to take care of my transaction. Another guy dont know a phone charging cord from an a/v cord. Overall, not as friendly as Goldsboro.

Staff was great! A nice young man named Tobias was able to help me find some exercise weights I was looking for. He was able to help me get a good deal and I was very satisfied with the service and the weights that he assisted me with.

They have a problem low balling people under value things then sell for high price 3x what they pay for them. This is not a place to go to sell or buy anything. A pawn shop offered me way more than they did.

I would put zero Stars if it allowed me. Do not go to this place it is a total rip-off I had almost $400 worth of kayaks and they wanted to give me thirty bucks for both not each but for both kayaks. When I entered the store, a young lady named Jennifer greeted and welcomed me immediately. I began my browse through the store and after just a few minutes, a gentleman in a wheelchair approached me and introduced himself as Ray and said if I needed any help to just let him know. I liked the way he didnt hound me but let me know he was there to help. More salespeople need to learn that. I looked around at my own speed and then approached Ray to get assistance. Ray was very attentive and quite knowledgeable of the products in the store. Ray was so helpful with my purchases and also gave me knowledge for future purchases. I just want to say whomever hired Ray really knew he would be an asset. Ray walked me to the register and told me thank you for coming in today and if he could be of any assistance about anything in the future to just let him know. He also handed me a trade it card and said if there was anything I want to sell that this card would give me an extra 10% on the item I sell. Ray is an exceptional salesperson and I have and will return for help from him in the future.

I would avoid this store at all costs.While visiting this particular Trade It with a friend. He requested a the price check on a used loose cartridge video game. The item is priced about $40 more than a NIB version of this game.We went home and complained on Facebook about what happened. They had stated it was right and if I couldn’t afford it, I could put it on layaway or try eBay or something.The employees commented and then verbally assaulted me on my personal Facebook page after his post. Even after he apologized, the two same employees continued to harass and verbally abuse me.I saved the comments using screenshots from my Facebook page.I find it wildly unacceptable.I have contacted another trade it I frequently visit (it is fantastic in comparison) and informed them what happened. They provided me the number for the DM and I will be contacting their corporate office also.I want to post the screenshots here but to be respectful (a lesson they could both learn) I will not.Avoid this location. Avoid it. Avoid it.

Tobias is always so helpful whenever I go to trade it. He has explained products, and pricing for me on multiple occasions and is always eager to help. Whenever I need a good used electronic I can always find it at trade it.

Ive picked up several camping items, as well as musical equipment here.Ive never left thinking I paid too much, and the employees are happy to help as a go-between you and the price setters in back,if you choose to try negotiating. If an item has been there a month or more, they typically will happily be able to find some wiggle room on the price marked.Summary,Ive picked up several items I believe I got a a VERY good deal on. Ill even give 5 stars, never had any bad/damaged/or malfunctioning purchases. 👍👍

Trade it has the best prices on used items in Greenville the Manager always tries to go out of his way to ensure you have a good buying experience. The only problem is it sometimes doesnt have the nicest customers attempting to sell things. I was in there a few days ago and someone was trying to sell a pillow disguised as a 55 TV thinking they wouldnt open the box. The customer became enraged when the Manager asked them to leave and started shouting about how they smelled weed in the parking lot. update: just saw Christa Elise had made a review recently if you google her full name Christa Elise Macgray you will find out she has a rap sheet miles long for Obtaining Property By False Pretense and was wanted until recently by the police

We LOVE Trade It! We have bought printers and E-readers and computer equipment, DVDs and other stuff and EVERY single time we shop for almost anything we always seem to find the best price at Trade It! Even if something is not quite right with an item they always assisted us with quickness and exchanged things that we bought for things that worked wonderful with no delays. If you need electronics or tools or other random stuff just call Trade It! They are great for on the phone pricing and item availability and ALWAYS VERY nice and helpful!

Was very happy to find a good deal, but like many times before there was a ridiculous line to check out and the cashiers were running all over the store. You seriously need to place a fixed person behind the check out counter that isnt allowed to leave. I stayed and waited this time, but Ive left plenty of times before because there wasnt anybody ready to take my money. Ive emailed Freds office before about this. There were about 10 people in line when I was waiting this time and one person coming and going to take money.

I have been to the Greenville store on multiple occasions! I have never had a bad experience. Friendly staff and very fair prices. I have actually sold items and when I have to back in those same items were being sold for very fair prices! I will return as much as possible.

One of my favorite places to browse and shop. Personally, my experiences have been very positive as far as pricing, value, and service. This place was great in the first few years in Greenville. No everything is dirty, including merchandise, walls, floors, counters etc. They use to have all kinds of nice items for cheap and now they have all the damaged wal mart items that have been marked down less than 20 of retail price. Associates yell across the store, use inappropriate language on the sales floor. They need to close for a few days, bleach the floor, clean the products, wipe down the walls and hire some staff with some common courtesy and common sense!! As a former customer service manager for 20 years this place needs to change!

If I could give negative numbers as a review, I would. We bought a game system and they priced it wrong and we were lied to about the actual price and we got it home and it didnt work. We took it back and let them know it didnt work and got a different system. We got that home and it didnt work either and still had previous owners personal information on it. We took it back and the manager wouldnt see us and had the cashier lie to us about where he was. We asked again to see the manager again and the cashier went to find him and she lied to us again about where he was. We wasted so much time and gas to get broken items that obviously were not tested. The staff is so unprofessional and not customer oriented. I cannot wait to find the information for their corporate office. I will never shop there.

Called up to the store to buy a 2013 MacBook. Ray said he would hold it for me while he wait for me to get up there since i was coming from out of town. As soon as i got to the store they told me it was sold as soon as i hung up the phone. No notice that it was purchased. After that they tried to sell me a 2011 MacBook for $200 more than the 2013 MacBook. Terrible service. Would not recommend this store.

There is nothing I love like walking into my local Trade It and browsing their amazing collection and walking out the door with something spectacular. When Im not making a purchase, Im pitching a sale or making a trade, which I always get top dollar for! Got to love Trade It!

I have been here a few times and found that alot of items they carry are bought from other stores and marked up to beef up inventory. Good deals are extremely rare. A couple staff members are rude unless you are buying something. I brought a couple games to sell them just to see what they would actually do. They paid me $0.50 each and put them on the shelf a week later at $9.99 and $14.00. Plus unlike regular pawn shops they wont even listen to offers on stuff unless theyve had it for months. All in all its just another pawn shop that says they are different but in reality the mold of dishonesty still fits. The place is absolutely filthy and the floors are sticky.

I would liken the Customer service to what I would think a Medieval swap and shop market.There was one manager that was very kind, but the sales clerksseem to be bothered when you ask more than one question. They are rude and a little obnoxious.They are not well knowledgeable on certain items (like computers).When you get to the cash register, the workers are often giggling and beingvery immature. I loathed my experience there. I had gone in to get a computer tower for my mother and was told that the tower that I bought was guaranteed to work. When I got it home, it did not work and I took it back and I had to send it off and wait for two weeks for it to come back (instead of just exchanging it). The worst part of it was that I had to call them, they did not call me to tell me that it had been in for a few days.I wish the store would just leave this city. I would not go back in that store if someone offered to PAY me to walk in.

On electronics specifically, they test nothing, and yet value their merchandise by looking on ebay for the same items (that are in excellent condition). Problem is, most of what is traded DOES NOT WORK and is pure junk. Many of the pneumatic and electric tools are also junk. These guys price used stuff very near new/retail, which is asinine.

Wouldve given them another star, but they seem to have gone a little downhill. They still have a pretty good selection, but its just generally a little messy. If you want deals on media, be prepared to dig. The alphabetical ordering in their DVD section is more of a suggestion than a rule

I was able to buy a fully functional N64 with a controller, cords, and 2 games for about $30. That is amazing and I couldnt have gotten it without this Trade It being here.

I had a great time shopping. The workers helped me out and I saw a few potential items that I would like to buy in the near future.

I just recently traded in a laptop at Trade It a couple of weeks ago. I told them the amount of what Best Buy would give me for trading it, and they beat it. Ive since used some of this money to get some speakers. They tested them out before I purchased them and gave me extra speaker wire. All of the associates have been very courteous to me, but Ive noticed that they havent always been courteous to everyone. However, Ive also noticed that the clientele can also be lacking. While I was trying to trade in my laptop, an individual came in with a television that clearly had been stolen. Considering the situation, the manager acted accordingly about the situation.Update: I just recently received an email from Trade It asking past customers to rate their experiences with the store. To make a long story short, apparently, for the individuals that are giving the survey 5 stores, they are publicly posting those reviews on their website and possibly other sites. For individuals who give the store less than 5 stars, they are blocking the surveys from being publicly posted. When this happens, the surveyor then watches a patronizing and condescending video of the owner who explains why their survey feedback was not publicly posted. This is absolutely pathetic, and it is a bad business practice. The owner needs to take into account that constructive feedback is just as useful as positive feedback. Finally, no one should publicly post information from a survey without an individuals consent. Most importantly, only posting the positive reviews that meet a certain criteria skews the reality of this business.I will never buy or purchase anything from this store ever again.

Awful return policy on video games. I had bought one that they sold me a game scratched up to hell, figured Id try to return it for my cash back the next day, since I had bought the game around 7 and the game stopped working two hours later, only to be told when I came in that I could exchange for something in the store, and that the lady who said I could get my cash back was wrong. Problem is, that was the only thing that had even remotely interested me in the store.

This place sold me a 2 stolen phones back to back. The worst, least knowledgable staff Ive ever encountered at a pawn shop. Prices are not bad for the damaged, stolen, semi-functional, products they shlepp through the shop. Total trash. Go to any other pawn shop before you waste time at this shiny pawn scam artists.

This place is awful. The prices may be reasonable but if you buy something broken they will not let you return it. Youre taking an unnecessary gamble by shopping there. Was buying a Blu-ray box set that was in a bin that said DVDs 1.99, Blu-Ray 3.99 and Blu-ray season 2.99. When I went to buy it I was told 8.99 I told the woman where I got the Blu-Ray and she told me that that’s wrong and this is the price I would have to pay for it, I told her I did not want it then I left. The woman did not even go over to see what her sale tag says just said it was wrong. This was my 1st and last time I will ever go to this place stay far away.

Absolutely horrible experience. Will never go back and will recommend to everyone i know to AVOID a shopping at this establishment. I had a simple question about the availability of a product and to my dismay, a very rude, overweight, and uneducated “lady” was there to “assist” me. If I could use the term “assist” any looser I would. This worker was unconpliant, rude, ignorant, and just downright had a bad personality. She has no business working in customer service, nor a job for that matter. She had absolutely no motivation to help me or any other customer and gave off the impression that she hated her job and she was going to project that through piss poor customer service.

I have bought and sold a lot of things at trade it and recent the customer service jas gone to hell. I went in Saturday afternoon at about 7.50pm with some tgthin to sell I asked if they could look at the thing in the car as it was a few large items and they were very obviously aggravated that they were close to closing they told me I could vrbri them in if I wanted to sell them they offered no help getting the things in and while I was struggling to carry the things in the manager on selling side told me to sit tge treadmill I was attempting to carry in on the floor offering no help. It fell sideways and broke the screen I got a look like oh well and had to throw it away. I was very upset at the calous disregard for the customer

Great Prices, Terrible Customer Service. I bought a game from the one dollar bin. It rang up as 15.78. I wanted to see how far the girl would go before she realized the price was incorrect. After going all the way through the transaction I pointed to where I got the game from, so she had to refund my money. Then her 19 year old manager came and was like Im sorry this happened, but look you got the game for a dollar I brought it down. Complete Idiots.
