The employees were very helpful, and pleasant. It is the company itself that I take issue with. I do not think you should advertise a product that you cant get. I ordered a bedroom suite for my granddaughter on May 25 2021. It never came in. Finally got a call that told me it probably wouldnt. So I went to get my money back. Again very nice staff. Were going to issue me a check, but it would take a few days. When I wrote my check to them it was the day of purchase. Mean well I started to look around again and sawAnother similar bedroom set. Asked if it was in stock, and was told yes. Made the purchase. As it turned out all that was in stock was the bed and night stand . One of the dressers wasnt available and the other is on back order. This company need only sell what the customer can go home with.

I had a lovely experience with this store. My salesperson was Brenda Carroll. She was kind, patient, and very helpful. She made great suggestions on furniture available and pointed out options for saving money on what we needed. Later, when I needed an additional piece I called her and told her I was coming to Greenville to look at what she had. It was her day off and she came in anyway. Our place is nicely furnished and I feel we made a beautiful friend who made our move to Greenville so much more enjoyable.

Wonderful experience at Greenville Furniture Fair! Kelvin is a top notch salesman & a phenomenal people person! With his help I decided what item I was interested in purchasing & did the transaction & was out of there in a flash! Very disappointed with service not provided. I tried contacting the manager several times in which they took my phone and said that he or she will give me a call, still no response back. I was told that it would take 6-8 weeks to receive my back order, which I understood. When I called again concerning my Oder I was told something entirely different that it would take 6-12 weeks if I knew that in advance I would had purchase my furniture from another store! I am truly unhappy with no clue or results or return call.

She helped us maximize our savings and help us decide what pieces worked well together, having been an interior decorator in her past profession. Great value and great service!

Great show room. Easy to get around and find what you are looking for. Very comfy couches and chairs.Lots of different styles to choose from. They have appliances too. Our salesperson Samantha was attentive and none aggressive. Listed to what we were looking for. If she couldnt answer a question she went and found the answer. Financing didnt take very long either. Luckily we dont have to wait long to enjoy our purchases. We pick up our nectar mattress and sweet new coffee table on Friday. Excellent prices with the sale they have going on for July 4th weekend. I purchased several furniture items from Furniture Fair in Greenville at a great price. Had a great experience with Brenda, a warm, friendly and knowledgeable sales person .Looking forward to furniture delivery in early August 2021. My husband and I have been to the Greenville, NC store twice in one week. best customer service EVER!!! Our salesperson the first time was Samantha and the second visit was the manager John. We had to get a refund on some of our original purchase and ended up spending quite a bit more cause we bought more furniture. It was a huge mess for the manager to fix but he came thru with flying colors!! I highly recommend the store and their products!!!!!!

I ordered furniture 7 weeks ago with a brand new sales person, then informed by Emily & John that she was fired. I found this inappropriate information to tell a customer.They also promised me a delivery period of 2-6 weeks. After 2-3 weeks, I called and visited the store, receiving completely different information about my delivery each time. Nothing ever made sense.One Friday Emily called me saying my dining table and chairs were in and would be delivered by Monday. By the middle of that week, no delivery and not hearing from Emily, I called, she said my furniture never made it on the truck and it would be few more weeks.I decided to cancel the order. John (Greenville Store Mgr) said this process would take a week for Corporate & Central office to cut a check for the cash I gave at the initial order, and would be on a truck and delivered to the Greenville Office. I asked him if I could speak with Corporate... his reply was that he was Corporate... I found that so odd.Ironically, after I personally calling the Central office, Greenville decided to refund me my cash 10 minutes later.I would NEVER purchase from or recommend entering any Furniture Fair store!!!!

Bought a couch in March, it’s now almost October, when it was delivered one of the recliners was broken and they wrote it on the paper work and said someone would be in touch to come fix it. Never got anything. Called 3 or 4 more times after, kept getting the run around. Called again today because I wanted a bed, but not until my couch was fixed, almost 9 months later and still got the run around and no apology! Will never buy from here again!

The people were nice but when they told us our bed was in the back and can pick it up on Monday that was a lie. The manager in the delivery area was disrespectful and rude to my husband when we spending all this money for a bed we then decided to cancel everything. We will not pay money for your mistakes and been disrespectful to your customers for no reason.

Make sure u ask for Luther before you go in! Me and my husband love his customer service every time we buy from here we request him. He is easy to get along with and he does everything in his power to satisfy the customer. He has the sweetest personality and very humorous. Worst place ever to deal with. Read the reviews and even though they were horrible I still gave them a try. What a big mistake. Worst experience ever. Brought a bedroom set over a week ago. The dresser is badly damaged and is a great inconvenience to be because I cant use it . I called the store. Got transferred from one person to another only to be told the guy who would schedule my delivery of my replacement was on vacation. Really hes the only one who can schedule a delivery. No one had reached out to me since I called them. No apologies. Still have the damaged product in my house but wait why did they leave it here and they knew it was damaged...smh people work hard for their money I hate to get out of charcter.

Worst store ever. Emily has done nothing but lie to get a sell. Ordered sofa set with tables. Told me everything in stock. Then after contract signed I was told chair and tables on backorder. Finally got chair. Was told 2 weeks for tables. Been 8 weeks now and they still tell me the same lies that they get an order next week but dont know if my tables are there. If I was told this 8 weeks ago, I would have got my furniture somewhere else

One of the worst customer service experience Ive dealt with. Sales manager tell you it will be here in 2 weeks, 2 months later it finally came. We went to pick it up and store was shut down, no one had the decency to call and let us know. Their own delivery guys told us that they do that to everyone, promise quick deliver then sometimes its 3 or 4 months before their stuff comes.

Someone there pockets money. It’s been an issue in the past. All I can say is, hold onto ALL your receipts. They will send you a letter stating that you did not make 2-3 months of payments. Good thing we had our receipts to show them proof of our monthly payments. This has happened to us multiple times. It has also happened to other people that I know. We had a great sales person though..

If you shop at Furniture Fair do not work with Hunter. He sold me a bedroom and told me the furniture would be available on August 1. I went to check in the store and found out he lied. The set was on back order. The manager worked with me and was able to remedy the situation. Thank goodness I went to check on my order. Be aware of working with Hunter. Kelvin the manager was very helpful.

Check your receipts during the current promo (October 2020) at this store. I purchased items and did not get the 20% off. The sales manager tried to make excuses instead of just owning the mistake and fixing it. Claimed I did not qualify for it. I read a tag and there are no qualifications for the discount (ex. certain purchase amount, etc.). He finally gave it to me after waiting 15 mins.I had actually purchased several things. One of them items I found a cheaper price online in 5 mins after checking reviews of the product. I called and was told that would be price matched. Got a call back from sales manager and told he could not price match, but could give me a certain price which I agreed thinking I was still getting a good deal. The reviews of the product (not related to FF) caused me to cancel the item.I realized on the way home after dealing with the first item that the price he gave me (instead of the price match they advertise) was the 20% off price anyway. He wasnt offering me anything that I should not have already gotten!Check your receipts and prices on the items if you are buying anything during the month of October 2020. Something is going on in this store and I wont be back.

Had a mishap and stained some sofa cushions. The expensive sofa was purchase in another town and the furniture company no longer exists. I called the manufacturer and they said they can replace the cushions but I would need to worked through any of the furniture companies that sell their brand. Furniture fair carries the brand. I had all the information from the manufacturer to make the order easy. The sales person said that I would have to buy a complete new couch since I did not buy it from them. I explained the situation again to the sales person but she could care less. Read into this as you see fit but if they cant help me with this. I doubt they would support any purchase in the future. If Furniture fair in Greenville NC would have helped me, I would have made many more purchases in the future. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Purchased living room set and was assured that it would be here in time for the Super Bowl. Was told that I couldnt have the set off the floor because it was a sales item and the only one left. Called to check my delivery and Im not on the schedule, nor will I have my furniture in time for the Super Bowl. Then on top of that, the only compensation offered was the OLD set that was on the floor that I originally asked for!!!!!!!! Not some cheap ficus trees or a clock or anything!!!!! Once this experience is over, I am DONE WITH Furniture Fair. Do yourself a favor, go to Ashley or Badcock!!!!!

Starting week 11 today and have to call every week to get an update. Sales does a good job up front but I never heard back again. I had to initiate every call and was never called back after leaving multiple messages even reminding reception that my calls had not been returned previously. After finally resorting to talking to manager I was given a date when they would be getting it in and was assured I would be getting a call from sales person. No follow up ever came. Called a little over a week later, spoke with him again, and was give a new date two weeks back from original. Made some excuse that tariffs are messing things up which I dont think he thought through that. This was 10 weeks after purchase and now I called again a week later and am now told Thursday it will be in. Not getting my hopes up as this has been a terrible experience overall thus far. Seems they do not care after you have paid for it and have terrible customer communication skills once you leave their door. They have made no attempt to rectify their errors in the situation thus far. I will update as this continues to draw on.

Furniture is not good quality and will not hold up. The store manager couldnt even find I had made a purchase once he knew I was having an issue. Its still under manufacture warranty but they want to replace a big problem on the furniture thats not even 7 months old. If it wasnt made right they should replace it! And of story.Beware of this company...go somewhere else.

Great selection. Found everything my Dad needed. He got some great clearance deals and special holiday financing on regular priced options.Took quit a while to check out. Only big complaint is he was charged for his free delivery even though he lived 10 minutes away because his street address town wasnt the same.

This place is great. Found a gorgeous kitchen table at a great price. Through no fault of their own (furniture flawed out of the box) they had to drive quite a ways back to us 3 times. Not once did anyone sound frustrated or upset with us. Everyone from the manager, Brad to the delivery manager Andre and the delivery guys were pleasant and helpful.I promise this; because of their efforts to make sure we were taken care of, our family will shop here first for any of our future needs. We will also recommend to friends and family because of the great customer service we received. Thank you everyone at furniture fair, you guys are killin it!!

Came here shopping for my father-in-law and he did get some pretty good deals. The service was nice, and didnt say anything about my kids passing the time on the massaging chair. The only fault was the delivery policy. My father-in-law only lives 15 minutes away, but they wouldnt give them the free delivery because he lived outside of their area.

My grandmother purchased a new mattress set from them with the expectation that the set would be NEW ! The mattress that she received was USED, & had a dent in it. After noticing this my grandmother called them multiple times & was told different things. 2 WEEKS LATER ( which was today) I called & spoke with Luther the supervisor by the name of & he was so rude, rushed me & did not want to answer any of the questions I had On why was the process for a replacement mattress taking so long. I even Asked for corporate number & he said that he did not have it. That was indeed the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I had to google another furniture fair to get corporate number. I hope This gets handled accordingly. If you don’t know how to speak and be honest with your customers then you shouldn’t work with the public. especially when it was something that business did wrong . My grandmother just wanted her replacement brand new mattress set that she bought ! Luther needs to apologize and learn how to deal with customers. A lot of business can be loss over bad customer service. Bad customer service travels faster than good !

My wife and I picked out a sectional sofa and then after we filled out all of the paperwork they said it would be 3-8 weeks before the sofa would come in. It’s been 10 weeks and the sofa still hasn’t arrived. I’m going to go to a real furniture store.DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!Update: my wife and I went back into furniture fair and looked at some other sectionals. My wife picked out four different ones, all of which were not in stock.We went to Ashley furniture and found the original sectional that we wanted. Worst management ever! The manager Brad (bleach blond hair with glasses) was very unprofessional and will lie right to your face. Came here with my boyfriend to purchase a couch but now well never be returning after our experience. When we first stepped in the store we were welcomed by a sales associate who was very friendly. We looked at a couch that said it was on sale so we asked the sales associate to double check for us. He went and asked the general manager if it was the correct price and said it was wrong BUT he said he would HONOR the sale price to us. We finally decided to purchase the couch so we told the sales associate we would be back in 15 minutes to go to the bank, he then told us he would work up the paperwork so when we arrived everything would be in order. When we came back, he told us that he and the GM talked about the couch and said they would not honor us the sale price anymore. We then asked to speak to the general manager who from the beginning talked to us as he was above us and thought we had no common sense or money. Throughout the conversation he raised his voice at us and told us WE were wrong when we only repeated to him that we were told he would honor the price to us. In the end we asked how we could speak to the corporate manager and he gave us a fake number! The sales associate did nothing wrong, but the GMs actions were disgusting. Seriously wonder how he even has a job there.

I understand everyone has a different experience when it comes to shopping. I also think it may depend on what you get and who you deal with. I bought a table from them and it is perfect for my place. It was sturdy and affordable. I love it so much I went back and bought a television from them as well. No issues. The staff has always been nice to me when Ive been in there. Ill probably get my love seat from them as well. ***UPDATE: I did go back and get the loveseat from them also and I love it. I have a small apartment and it fits in perfectly. My table is still in great shape as is the other things I purchased***

At first I didnt even want to shop at this store based on the reviews which are awful for the most part. My sister wanted me to give it a try. The sales associate that greeted me was nice and though she was persistent on checking on me, she did give me some space and did not hover over me. She allowed me to circulate, answering questions when needed. It worked like a car dealer where she had to check with others to get a final answer. Furniture was delivered on the designated day. Yea! She even sent a nice little card thanking me for allowing her to work with me.PROBLEM!!!! Within 12 days a leg on the sofa table broke off. I called, sent emails with pictures; no response and called again. They were going to call me back about what they were going to do and no call. I called back several times, finally speaking to a manager. Said he would have to check with the other manager. I called back. They were going to fix and a furniture repair person would call. No call yet. I called again and someone took my message but no call. Will try again today. No iniative or follow up on the part of the store to make contact with me regarding my numerous calls. I now understand the frustration and disappointment that many others felt based on their reviews. I would not recommend this furniture store to anyone I cared about. Still waiting on a call to fix the furniture and will give an update. Hopefully my story will gave a happy ending. Right now, feeling so very frustrated!

They lie to your face and have no explanation when you challenge their lies. I’m assuming they’re not used to an educated person asking certain questions so they didn’t have enough time to come up with an answer. They lie about interest rates and they will set your account up, take your money, and make you go through hell and high waters when it’s time to take your furniture home. My husband and I had the best experience with our purchase! We had never bought living room furniture before, but furniture fairs coustomer service was absolutely amazing! Mr Taylor helped us find exactly what we were looking for! The Delivery was fast and the delivery guys were very patient with us and very respectful! And even though we over estimated on the size of our living room and had to send a recliner back because we just didn’t have the room for the extra one that we had originally ordered, they took it back with no problem! Can I give it no stars? The employees have ZERO customer service skills. We picked out a sectional September 7th, 2019 and we were told that it would take 3-8 weeks. That seemed like a broad time span but we loved the sectional. Its been 10 weeks and then we were told that they were unable to give us another time span because it was stuck in customs. So we went into the store on 11/5/19 to find a new sectional and every one (picked out 4 different ones) that picked out was, you guessed it, out of stock. We decided to cancel the order and leave. Before leaving, my husband spoke to the manager, he couldnt even make eye contact with my husband. Please stay clear of this place!!

LIES AND DECEPTION to get the sale. HUGE MARK UPS before sale prices. I understand paying a little more to support the local stores, but their mark ups are ridiculous! There was a sectional with the retail price of $4599.99, then sale price at $2299.99, then clearance priced it at $1999.99. What a bargain, I thought, but after it was too late. I found the exact 4 piece online with free shipping for $1400 and a brand new 5 piece sectional on their website for $2299.99 after I purchased the last discontinued piece. Here is my pathetic story. I bought a beautiful sectional on clearance, but before purchasing asked if they had a new one in stock. The sales woman (Brenda) stated that it was a discontinued item, and the only piece was the floor model. Regrettably, I purchased the floor model along with the warranty and paid for delivery. I thought i was getting great service when they delivered it a few days later, but when it arrived, the chaise was wet from a leak in the truck. When i asked them what they would do, I had to talk to 2 managers (Antonio and Brad) who then had to talk to their manager (who happened to be out of town at the time) to fix the issue. Apparently, because it was a clearance item, they didnt have standard protocol?? Even though I paid for their delivery service. A few days later, I was promised a new chaise. I thought it was strange they could get me a new item when it was a discontinued piece, so I did a little digging and that is when my stomach turned at the thought of a local store scamming their own neighbors! When I asked the manager about this, and requested a return/refund, he stated the sale was final and claimed that the higher price is for the personal service. I dont know how they sleep at night lying to people daily! I accept that I made a mistake in stepping in that store, but I dont want anyone else to make the same mistake. WORST RETAIL EXPERIENCE EVER! Oh yeah, they delivered my new chaise today. Maybe its the crappy experience, but I cant help but to think they just re-delivered the wet chaise.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! This store is not even worthy of the 1 star nor the items in it. The sale reps are nice & courtesy, but once you purchase an item that experience goes down hill from there. Not to mention, the protection plan is a complete joke WHEN ( cause you will need it) you use it. The warehouse manager is rude & the employees are disrespectful. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN EVEN IF THIS MEANS I HAVE TO BUILD & DESIGN MY OWN FURNITURE!

We went in to Furniture Fair hoping to find a new king size bed. What we found was not only a wonderful new bed, but some of the best customer service I have ever recieved at a furniture store! We were not pressured to buy anything we werent looking for, and the knowledge our sales guy, Joe, had about each mattress was great! We decided on a mattress, I came back the following Friday, did the paperwork within ten minutes and we had our new bed the next day!! I highly recommend the sweet service of Furniture Fair in Greenville, NC to everyone I talk to and we will certainly do business again with them in the future!

This place is horrible!! They are liars, and try to cover for one another by continuing to tell more lies. My family was displaced due to Hurricane Matthew a few months ago. My mom went here to get temporary furniture for their new location. She was told she would receive merchandise from the warehouse. She received used merchandise from the floor and they refused to give a discount for the wear and tear. She was given the run around for over a week. When she would call, the Sales reps would tell her the manager wasnt in. Finally, my sister popped up at the store. The sales associate told her he was in, and had been for a while. When the manager saw her, he tells her that he had just gotten in...which was a lie. She refused to leave the store until they gave her my mothers refund. They had several excuses at first...not enough cash in the store, etc. Eventually, they came up with the money. Well, my mom also bought a recliner that she kept. It stopped reclining in less than two weeks. The motor went out. In order to get it replaced, she had to contact a manager at the Jacksonville store to get the assistance she needed. Bottom line....avoid this store at all costs!!! They are liars and will try to rip you off!! She took her money and business to Furniture Distributors which turned out to be the best decision ever!! Great prices and customer service!!

They were very rude when they messed up a delivery. Claimed we should have known what was delivered. Delivery guys never went over what was delivered and we were NOT given an invoice with contents of delivery. Then claimed they didnt know where the item was because they didnt have them (to us implying we are lying). When a customer has a problem they should not be given this treatment ! They kept saying they have never had a problem in 15 years. Not our problem! There is a first time for everything if they had been polite and said they need to make sure they can give us a replacement for the item they didnt deliver by talking to their district manager we would have been fine.However when we got there the manager of the store was printing off where we signed. And then said so heres were you signed. Yes mister, but where was the item we did not receive ! Thankfully the item ended up getting delivered later.
