This is such a cute place! Love the vibe. Coffee was delicious, I got the tres leches latte it was very sweet and a desert for its self I definitely enjoyed it and the cups are so adorable 🥰 But I really do wish there was more seating inside especially for more than just 2 people.

That’s probably my favorite coffee place in Greenville. Always get their tres leches with oat milk. It is so good. Sweet yet not too sweet. Once my niece got an iced tres leches and I got the hot one and both tasted literally the same which is great. It always tastes the same which why I think I like their coffee. Great selection of beans too. And the place is in the heart of downtown. Love it!

Great coffee with a lot of options. I bought a bag of their Ethiopia, Guji (Natural) and had a free drip coffee, their Ethiopia Nano Challa, which was delicious. They also offer a variety of wine and freshly baked goods. Interesting and comfortable atmosphere.

Methodicals location in Downtown Greenville is centrally located with a great atmosphere! I order two 12 oz Tres Leche Lattes (because 12 oz is the largest hot size that they have while they are not able to fill reusable travel mugs) and a greek yogurt, herb-granola parfait; Both of which are perfectly delicious.Today, I was especially impressed because the barista, Garrett, offered to stagger my Lattes so that they would both be hot and fresh!! Wow! I have only had a handful of batistas offer such kindness and I assure you, it will not be forgotten. I regrettably did not ask the name of the other barista who made the Lattes and cleared one of my dishes, but whomever you are, I thank you. Additionally, Garrett returned to my table just as I was preparing to gather my dishes and took them so that i would not have to carry them down the stairs! Such kindness is rare, even in the service industry. Thank you Methodical for a fabulous experience today! I shall return.

This is the embodiment of the 21st century hipster coffee movement. But I cant help but love it. Super location but most important, super delicious espresso. Will go back next time Im in Greenville.

Methodical Coffee in downtown Greenville is one of the cutest coffee shops around. Its a bit on the small side downstairs with a small bar facing the courtyard and a few tables along the side of the shop as well as a few seats facing the area where the baristas work (no laptops in this area). The good thing is that it has extra seating just upstairs. The coffee is good, even the decaf americano was tasty and not overly burnt tasting like some places. We also had the quiche which was very tasty (it takes a little bit for it to come out since they have to warm it up but its worth the wait.) You can get your coffee for sit-in orders in an old vintage coffee cup with a saucer or you can get it to go in a cardboard cup. Theyve also got wine and tea on the menu. The shop also recently just turned five years old! Either way this is one spot you wont want to miss in Greenville.

It is my favorite coffee shop in downtown. I usually drink a cafe latte, but when I get here, I get to drink hand drip coffee. The atmosphere at the store is always pleasant and tidy. I used the couch in the lobby with the BOA, and if there are many people in the group, it is comfortable there. If you go alone, it is good to do graphic work on the second floor.

This place has so much potential and so much trendiness. It was almost cliche trendy, with their decor, beer/wine, and cold brew horchata, even down to the aprons the staff used, it felt a little over the top. Although the environment was clean and pleasant it just felt like I was in a Pinterest ad. The coffee was okay, the shot was decent and the technique was well executed but it lacked body depth. It could have been the beans used for the macchiato so another visit Is in order to determine if this is truly the best coffee in Greenville.

What a fantastic third wave style coffee shop in the beautiful downtown of Greenville SC. The roast their own beans as well as carry some rotation of other great roasters. Friendly and knowledgeable Baristas and the vibe is great! Excellent pour overs and lattes are prepared beautifully. Full of great tasting notes. Sidenote - the espresso machine art is by the same local artist that designed their coffee bags. Great outdoor area for kids as well to run and get wet! Check them out!

My wife and I came here and ordered a hot tea. The tea was fine but when we got home my wife received an email from them thanking us for our purchase. Weve never been here before nor did we give them our email address. Im a little concerned how they obtained our email for advertising purposes without our consent. I paid with a debit card and did not provide any email or phone number.Edit: We never accessed the company wifi either. I also tried calling them 10 times to ask how they obtained our email address and they never picked up the phone, otherwise I would not have turned to leaving a Google review to get some answers.

Best iced chai latte in Greenville, plus they can actually make a cortado correctly. And the loaded focaccia was truly amazing. Love this place!

Fantastic coffee shop. The baristas are friendly, environment is chill and relaxed, and the brews are excellent. Got an Ethiopian pour over and it is very fruit and pleasant, one of the best I have had. Espresso with 4.5 oz milk is really nuanced and tasty as well.

They have maintained consistency with their great coffee and friendly service. The only thing they have changed is that they now roast, which only adds to the experience.

Don’t get lost finding this place: it’s off the street, tucked back in a courtyard by the Apple Store. Worth seeking out, the vibe is cozy and inviting. Great cold brew and friendly staff!

Best matcha latte I’ve ever had. The barista with long hair is awesome and very kind. This is one of my favorite cafes in downtown! I definitely recommend.

Great little coffee shop with an excellent ambience and friendly baristas. if you have any questions they are more than happy to help. The menu is a little different from most places but just ask and they will walk you through what it all means. Be prepared to hunt for seating though, as they fill up fast.

Bright and cheery environment, smiling staff, unique coffee selection. I chose one with floral notes and my husband got one with citrus notes. My friend got the chai tea and all is the drinks were delicious. Only thing is that a 6 ounce cup is a lot smaller in your hand compared to sitting on the display shelf, wish I had gone a size up.

I absolutely loved methodical coffee. First and only 3rd wave coffee shop I have ever been to, and seems like theyre the only one in South Carolina! Theyre definitely ahead of the game in coffee culture. FANTASTIC espresso and Cafe drinks. I had several. Beautiful place. I loved being there. It is definitely the in place to be! I love their dish ware!! It is a small space though so just be prepared! And it was very busy so it was hard to talk to people behind the bar. But it was a wonderful experience and we loved it!!! Definitely a favorite place to visit there.

Best coffee in Greenville!

Had the Tres Leches Coffee and the Divino Niño. Both cups were perfectly brewed. The Tres Leches is just right with the sweetness and you can taste the condensed milk. Staff was super friendly and polite. The place has a calming atmosphere and pleasing décor.

This review is in regards to their coffee.I had the pleasure of visiting MC’s booth at the SCA Expo. After chatting with the fellas at the stand, one of them handed me a bag of coffee to try.In specialty coffee, there are certainly echelons, and from what I have seen and experienced, Methodical seems to be trying to enter the upper echelon. I am way out of my element, Donny, to say whether or not Methodical runs with Sweetbloom, Heart, or Ceremony.However, they certainly seem closer to it than they are far from it.What tips me off to this is their handling of the natural process Guji they gave me. It’s hard to roast and source a natural process that has more to it than that blueberry pie, Beaujolais thing going on.This coffee has a balance, flavor and body that gives a complexity to an otherwise two dimensional coffee.I imagine most people would consider my home brew process to be more serious than casual. The reality is the the better the coffee is; the process, water, and method need to match.If you’re local, I don’t discourage you from home brewing their coffee, but I would encourage you to up your game so that you can respect the quality of their product. Otherwise, count your blessings that Greenville has a roaster that knows how to throw down.
