Never buy anything from them online. they will steal your money!I bought online (recommended by google) a Küat pivot v2 on July 8, 2021 and I paid $411.95 for my bike rack. I have all proof by emails and receipts. First they never have the product available as they put it on the site. never answer your emails, Its been almost 4 months and I never received my order. I will file a lawsuit against them and have my money plus extra for all the stress. Bad customer service.
Worst cycling store Ive ever dealt with - avoid at all cost! Placed order for some clipless pedal body replacement (mine got scratched up from an accident) on Aug 20th. Website said itll take 4-6 weeks for special orders which Im fine with. Emailed after 2 months of waiting to get status of my order and was told it should arrive next week. Fast forward another two weeks and I got an email today (Nov 1st) from Glory Cycles customer service stating No update at this time, we are suggesting we cancel the order. No apologies or anything. What a pathetic store.
Glory Cycles was a huge help. Staff was super helpful and provided great suggestions. I needed new wheels but there was a huge set back from the vendor. Glory knew I was on a strict timeline and was able to provide me with other options and shipped my wheels super fast. My new wheels arrived and theyre perfect, super happy with this purchase. Thank you again to the staff who helped me and their attention to customers needs during a time crunch.
I ordered a group set online 4 months ago and have still not received it. Glory Cycles charged my credit card immediately upon ordering. I have emailed twice to cancel the order and get credit back on my credit card and still nothing. Glory Cycles promised to issue me a refund in a few hours and that was a week ago. I would not recommend ordering anything online from them.
1. I bought a bike online using an invoice they sent me in October of 2020. I paid for it and had to call them 5 days later just to get them to acknowledge they had my money and process the order.2. Many many delays on the bike. Not their fault as the manufacturer was way behind as well. However they never sent updates, weeks and weeks would go by and I would have to prod them just to get a status on my order. This happened many many times.3. Canceled the order on 7 March 2021. They replied in email they would cancel the order and refund my money. They never actually canceled the order. I had to call and tell them again to process the cancellation on 19 March 2021 while I was on the phone with them.Perhaps the in store service is better but I would not recommend anyone purchase a bike online or over the phone from them. Customer service is an absolute mess.
Great response time to an online purchase. Had the part I needed and helped me out! Great service!!
Due a personal issue I’d have to cancel my order and they did fast.Looking forward to buy stuff (high end bikes and parts) from then.I’ll recommend to anyone.
Excellent shop. I was looking for a specific bike, two bikes actually, and Clive went above and beyond to make it happen. His experience, 30 years racing, provided the information to ensure I got the right sizes of both the bikes and components. Availability of bikes and components is really crazy at this point, but Glory Cycles came through for me and have made me feel confident that even though I live across the country from them that they will be there for me with any questions, or any issues that may arise with my bikes. Thanks again Clive.
Your customer service is very very bad. I havent had gotten any emails or updates from you guys regarding a refund that has yet to be processed. I am now under the impression that you guys have just scammed me.I have been emailing you asking updates a few days ago. I gave you guys a chance since last week because you said that my refund will be with in 5-7 working business days(since june 23) firs email reminder i sent asking for any updates was on june 29, then another on june 30, then another yesterday and to my luck, NO UPDATES AT ALL!You guys should change your name from Glory Cycles to Glory Scammers.I would not recommend this shop if you are doing online transactions, they always list items in their website as and item that is available, only to find out that what ever was ordered, will still be ordered from their vendor. Please stop tricking people into thinking that you guys have your items available in your website, if its a pre-order item please indicate it there.Your customer service sucks big time. You guys are not even replying to my emails. Now because of this scenario i am hopeless that i will get the refund that i needed.UPDATE JULY 3 2021They gave me the refund and replied to my email a few hours after posting this review..... And again it would still take 10 more days before it will appear or reflect in your account.I dont know why but this shop will take your money FAST but when situations like this they take it so slow as if they dont want to give your money back. Now i have missed opportunities because if this crazy delay from your end.
Havent bought anything from Glory cycles but they been a great help piecing bike together thank you.
Received above and beyond customer service from this shop. They recommended the perfect gravel bike for what I was looking for earlier this year, and have been wonderfully helpful with helping me figure out an issue with a custom build Im working on. Im so grateful to these guys and definitely recommend them.
Ordered a full set of Deda Elementi Vinci bar and stem set for my Colnago but ended up calling the next day to go in a different direction. Clive sat on the phone with me for almost 45 minutes to guide me in the right direction, on top of that he notified me what was in stock and approximately how long each item would take. I finally came to a decision and he personally got my order out the same day. I cant thank GC enough for their knowledge and patience. looking forward to my new setup!!thank you again- Frank G
Through Amazon, I ordered an Elite Suito bike trainer for $837 on Feb 11 and my credit card was charged by them the next day. On Feb 20, after not having received the trainer or any communication from Glory Cycles, I emailed them to check on the status. They responded on Feb 23, apologizing that the trainer was out of stock and asking me if I wanted to apply the $837 to another purchase. On Feb 27, I responded that I didnt, and that I wanted the $837 refunded on my credit card. They stated that they would, but that it would take 5 to 7 business days. It is now Mar 16, (12 business days later) and the refund of $837 has still not appeared on my credit card. Theyve now held my $837 for nearly 5 weeks for the purchase of an item that they didnt even have in stock. Virtually all other Amazon vendors wont charge your card until they have shipped the item.
Glory Cycles is absolute garbage. They take orders for products they do not have, or have any hope of getting, in any reasonable amount of time. It is disappointing to work with a place that has so little regard for the customer experience. I have waited 14 WEEKS for them to fulfill my order for a bike rack accessory (expected 6-8 weeks). After giving up on Glory Cycles and requesting a return, they actually suggested that I give them more time... youre kidding right? While I have waited for Glory Cycles to deliver the swing arm I have missed opportunities to purchase the product elsewhere, because I mistakenly believed in Glory Cycles ability to live up to their end of a purchase agreement. I would not do business with Glory Cycles again on a dare. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau by the end of the day. Be warned, and check FB reviews as well they will confirm my experience is far from unique, and may actually be the norm.
Made an order online, looks like I got scammed haven’t been shipped and they haven’t picked up calls or email, have no idea what to do as I needed this and they won’t answer me
If you order from them they won’t respond to you if you ask (I did 3 times) the status of the order. Now 1 month I am waiting for my order.Never again
Absolutely terrible customer service. It took over 6 weeks and repeated follow-ups to finally get a refund for a cancelled order. This was in addition to the complete lack of communication regarding changes in expected availability of the original order before cancellation, even upon direct inquiry.
Ordered a replacement seatpost clamp for my sons Ridley. They said 6-8 weeks and charged my $60. No problem. Six months later, no seatclamp post, no email responses, no one ever picks up the phone.
Garbage. Made me wait for 4 months for a product I never received. They offer prices that they cannot follow through on. Refunded me after I called and complained after wasting my time for months while in comunication. and are spamming me with advertisements.
My experience was amazing with Richard at Glory Cycles.I needed a very odd, brand specific part for my Ridley Noah. A seat assembly/clamp for the integrated aero seatpost. I looked and looked online around the world and could not find one ANYWHERE. Not only did they have the part on the shelf, but Richard verified it was the correct part and went and made sure it was actually on the shelf and not ghost inventory since it was so obscure. He even let me know although the part was in perfect, like new condition, that it was brought in for someone who never purchased it and so it was not in the original packaging. Full disclosure. He said, “if it does not work for you return it no problem”. Just awesome. I would gladly recommend them just for the customer service.I see some poor reviews about items taking longer than expected to be received. That is COVID or the manufacturer not the shop....be cool everyone, it is crazy out there.
Ordering was simple online. My order was shipped within a couple days of ordering and it was quickly delivered. Received exactly what I ordered. Thank you for your fast and quick service during covid-19.
Friendly service and very accommodating and communicative. They clearly understand their product and while may not always have it in stock, in my case it was about a 1week delay but they offered low shipping rates and got it to me with a few days of recieving it.
Beware of deceptive business practices. The groupo I ordered took 6 weeks to be shipped. Then their shipper lost the package. I requested they file a complaint with the shipper. No response. I had to file complaint for them. I requested a replacement. They said we dont have one. I disputed the charge with the credit card company. Suddenly they said we do have a replacement, please remove dispute. I lifted the dispute. They didnt ship the replacement as promised and stopped communicating. I disputed the charge again. The shipper has resolved the claim but cant tell me the result. Clive openly threatened me in emails. They dont care about their customers one bit. Zero responsivity until I disputed the charge. My order was placed Sep 9 and now its Nov 14 and I still dont have either product nor refund.Response to the response by business owner below :Its not reasonable to expect a business to file a claim with Fedex when they lose an $800 shipment? Its not reasonable to expect a business to communicate with their customer on the progress after the CUSTOMER filed the complaint with Fedex on behalf of the business? Its not reasonable to expect a business to tell the truth rather than lie to the customer about replacements?I know quite well how credit card payments work which is why I disputed the transaction which was the ONLY thing that made you reply to my inquiries, just like this review is apparently the only thing now that makes you reply to my emails from the last two weeks. So you tell me who is rude.Fedex has concluded their investigation so you know the result but have not shared that result. Is that impatient on my behalf after having waited eight weeks for the product that I paid for instantly? To hear the results of the claim investigation that I initiated because you didnt want to do it (or didnt know how to)?And is it considered good business practice to try to personally attack their customer and post personal information in a Google review (which happens to be laughably false)?Your business and business practices suck and your response makes that clear to anyone. The only way out at this point is a refund. That is what any good-faith business would do for aa customer who paid for a product they didnt receive. It might be outside your control, but it is your responsibility. It certainly is outside of my control and responsibility.
Customer service is lacking; ordered a bike July 28, that was suppose to be in stock, they charged my CC, yet no bike shipped, nothing . .. and Im still waiting for an update, what gives Glory Cycles? Im still waiting to a response to my latest Email inquiry, send me frame or refund my CC. If I dont get a response in 5 business days -I will take this further.
Just started thinking about a new Pinarello F12. Wouldn’t shop anywhere else but Glory Cycles. I have purchased a Pinarello F8 and Pinarello F10 from Glory. I was super impressed with how easy they made buying a high end bike online. The real test is the follow up service and that’s we’re Glory really shines. Clive and his team really knows bikes and they make great recommendations. So ... if you are looking for the best gear at fair prices with amazing service.... look no further than Glory
Tremendous customer service; responsive and flexible with a real desire to make the customer happy. It’s not just a business; they clearly care about cycling and cyclists and the overall experience.
Glory Cycles made it happed despite Covid-19 Crisis. Great service and awesome team. I orders a bottom bracket and power meter cranks from the Glory Cycles website and their team managed to get me even the updated cranks from the manufacturer despit these unprecedented times. 5stars deluxe!
Customer service is outstanding 👍. I purchased a sram red 22 mechanical groupset from them. After receiving it I changed my mind and decided to upgrade to e-tap and customer service rep assisted me throughout the process(now Im waiting to receive the e tap upgrades). Once you order groupset from them it takes about 10 days to ship out but Im totally fine with it because Glory cycle was the only website that I could get a groupset with exact crank and cassette size that i was looking for.
Same story as everyone else. Item listed in stock on the website. I reached out to check the status of my order and was told they had to order two brakes from two separate places and are waiting for them to arrive. I was updated it will take another week before they can ship my purchase. Next time just find a shop that actually has what they say is in stock. Feel bad giving this review but it’s the truth.
Without a doubt the definitive high-end bike shop throughout the VA, NC, SC area (probably more). Clive and Andy were great to work with and when there was a hold-up in shipment of my bike frame, they even offered to change my order to the second bike I was also considering. If you truly want the ultimate pro-level bike, Glory Cycles cannot be beat (in equipment and price). I will certainly be back for more!
Canada is a wonderful place to live but not when you are a lover of all things Italian, specifically Italian road cycling gear. It was a tad nerve-racking buying online, esp when its something from one of your beloved Italian bike frame manufacturers and choice components (campy). Glory Cycle and Andy did not disappoint. Selection, price point, turn around time and condition upon delivery - nothing but exemplary. We are repeat customers and look forward to our next purchase! Thank you, Andy and your crew!
Poor build. Worse customer service. I bought a Hakka Mx from these guys and there was a list of problems:- Bottom Bracket cup (left) was stripped from the original install- Missing stem bolt washer (scratched stem)- Headset Bearing upside down from original install (did not seal and rusted out)- Frame was blemishedI asked about sending replacements and Clive would not make it right. His emails responses were manipulative. Embarrassing how a business owner will weasel himself out of responsibility. You may feel you are getting a deal, but you will end up spending more. Is it a gamble you want to take? I am writing this review to save my fellow riders time, energy and money. If you want to be happy with your bike do not buy from Glory Cycles.
The boys at Glory know their stuff inside and out. Ive now bought three bikes from them. Each has been exactly what I wanted - never mind what comes stock on a bike; they dont believe in that sort of thing - and the touch they put on them (like color-matched cable ends, bar tape - it matters) is outstanding. Service and attitude are wonderful, and far too rare these days. They truly get it, as theyre bike nerds themselves. Im fortunate to have them as my LBS.
Shady bike shop, keep away!I ordered my parts through their website and havent heard anything from them for two weeks. When I reached out they said they are ordering parts from manufacturer (Italy). WTH? Why wasnt I informed they dont keep stock BEFORE they took my money.Another week had gone by and the rep said the manufacturer dropped the ball and didnt ship the parts... the guy was obviously lying. A week later they shipped my parts to me. Thats over 4.5 weeks total.PS: Check out their Yelp reviews. Its the same schtick and this seems to be the business practice for them - dont keep stock, take the order, then get parts at retail from manufacturer, feed the customer some BS and have them eat the delays.
Top notch bike shop! I was interested in an ebike and doing a lot of research. Andy answered all of my questions and then some. Even though I have a LBS that sells Orbea, the staff at Glory was so much easier to work with. I decided to order the bike from them. Communication was great and I got the bike in a timely manner. I absolutely love the bike!! Glory has a different set up than Im used to, but I took a chance and it was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.
Like many of the other reviewers, I too was skeptical of buying a bike online but I can tell you that Clive and his staff are top-notch. They are small enough to give you personal attention and respond quickly to any questions or concerns that you might have. On top of that kind of service, their pricing cant be beat. Thanks Clive!!
I purchased a pair of Enve G23s that were delayed by weeks due to a production issue on Enves side. Throughout this time, Glory Cycles regularly kept me abreast of the status of the wheel set and when Enve wasnt able to fulfill the order using the original hubs- Glory offered a favorable resolution and even expedited the shipping n/c so I could race on the wheels that weekend. Excellent online bike retailer and will definitely do business with them again!
Shopping online can be risky, but the personal customer service provided me by the staff, especially Dixon, at Glory allayed any fears. He patiently took me through the various options and he knew what he was talking about. The bike I ordered came in great shape but I had a problem with the electronic shifting (I wasnt plugging in the battery properly). I emailed Dixon and he promptly got back to me with the simple solution and then followed up after that. Great service and a great price on a great bike (Colnago) which rides and shifts superbly (yeah, and looks pretty cool, too).
These guys are great. They get the product out the door fast. My first experience with them was last year when I bought my Pinarello and had it shipped. First of all, I got a screaming deal on the bike. Their pricing cant be beat on a lot of things. But there was an issue with the shipping that was beyond their control. Someone in UPS saw the factory Pinarello box and tried to have the package rerouted to their house somewhere in NC 1 day after it was shipped! Throughout the whole process Clive and the staff were on top of it. The package was insured for the proper amount for one. But they also called the shipper and made sure the package was safe and that it arrived at my doorstep on time. Great job, guys!Since that initial order Ive ordered odds and ends from them - basically whatever my LBS doesnt have stocked. The shipping is always prompt and their prices are great.
I had nothing but a tremendous experience with Glory Cycles. Let me first say that their prices are the lowest. But with the staffs expertise and customer service, I was impressed. I ordered a Pinarello Marvel at an unbeatable low price and had a flawless and smooth transaction. They also went above and beyond to accommodate a timing concern with shipping the bike. Just an outstanding shop and I cant say enough great things about them. Thank you Glory Cycles.
I love working with the guys at Glory Cycles. Been a longtime customer and always happy with the service and attention to detail. Just recently bought my 3rd Pinarello from them (Dogma with Campy Super Record 11) and could not be happier. Even was lucky enough to be passing through their hometown and stopped in to see their new location. It was great to see the place and meet the guys in person. I can assure you you wont go wrong shopping with Glory Cycles.
Glory Cycles is my new LBS.....Internationally. The level of service provided and time given to the smallest of details is second to none. With Glory Cycles there is no such thing as stupid questions and you dont feel like a regular customer. They Legitimately want your purchasing and riding experience to be all that it should be.I live a long ways away, in Trinidad & Tobago and was first given Clives email a couple months ago by another fellow rider who had nothing but positive things to say about him. I contacted Clive regarding buying the LOOK 695 frame set and DA9000 group set. I am a tall rider and at the time had a 61cm frame. After careful consultation over numerous emails and skype conversations, Clive gave me the most honest answer a sales rep could give...The 59cm frame was BORDERLINE within my limits and instead off selling it to me, he honestly told me it would work, but for what I want, I will not be as comfortable as with a slightly bigger frame and stared me to a cheaper option. That is the kind of service you want, legitimately putting you first. I will continue to buy things from Clive and have them shipped to me rather than deal with the local stores back home. It takes a couple days and I know Im getting the best option!
Very good store!Vendors specialized and attentive. They review equipment and parts that are very helpful in deciding. They do international shipping.I recommend.
Shipped the day of purchase and the best price, Thank you.
I have purchased two bikes from glory cycles. They do offer the best prices and it did take longer then two months for the bikes to arrive but some of this may have had to do with the Xmas break and the fact that the two bikes I ordered were in high demand (ibis Hakka mx and ibis mojo hd4). A few points. They are primarily a road bike shop and are not be good at putting together mountain bikes. My mojo hd4 had an eagle drive train which they configured incorrectly causing it to shift into the spokes under pressure. I thought it was a fluke but then my buddy who ordered a mojo 3 from them with eagle had the same problem. I sent them an email with a video explaining that eagle needed a certain measured adjustment. Never heard back from them.More seriously they put an adaptor on my front fork which was incorrect. For Fox 36 fork you do not need an adaptor for 180 (for rock shox you do). The end result of this was only a small portion of the front brakes was squeezing on the rotor which led to poor braking performance. I actually rode the bike for nearly six months and thought there was something wrong with the fit but crashed once because the rear slid out on me.For a while I thought maybe the bike just didn’t fit but It wasn’t till I was riding in downieville (long downhills) did I discover the error because the braking failed completely. I brought it to there lbs and the mechanic looked at it and immediately knew the error. He fixed it and now it brakes great. I sent them an email along with the brake pads showing them their error. Never heard back from them.I buy a lot of bikes and have purchased from competitive cyclist, adrenaline bikes, Colorado cyclist, and Jenson and I would say all of them probably do a better job putting the bikes together. But you can’t beat the prices these guys offer...
FAKE BIKE SHOP! I ordered online and it sat at awaiting shipment for over a week, until I called and canceled the order. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEESE SCAM ARTISTS!
I was looking for a custom set of wheel built to my specifications. No local shop in my city was willing to help me nor offer me options to fit my budget. I did some searching and came across several reviews of wheels builds by Clive at Glory Cycles.I contacted them and was walked through the process from start to finish. Clive and his staff were happy to help, explaining everything along the way, making the cumbersome experience of building wheels an amazing learning and fun experience. Many options were provided and everything was thoroughly explained to me. This is definitely one of my most memorable online shopping experiences to date. Glory Cycles sure knew how to earn my business. Would definitely shop with them again!
I had found Glory Cycles after doing some research on custom wheel builders, specifically with Chris King hubs and ENVE rims. After getting quotes from several retailers, I found that not only was the price the best here, but the service and attitude was by far the best. I received very helpful information regarding my planned purchase, and got answers to all my questions. Both emails and phone calls were always welcome, and I really appreciated that. Im always weary of online only communication because I dont feel like theres a real person on the other side. With a big purchase such as a fancy wheelset, I needed all the details and specs of my order to be perfect. Glory Cycles was exact in getting those details right. There was full transparency in the wait time from the manufacturer, and was offered other deals if I was uncomfortable with the manufacturing delays. To get exactly what I wanted, it was worth the wait. The building process was rather quick, and the build quality is excellent. Everything I bought was packaged very well, and was shipped with tracking information.I received everything in the time frame as promised, and am very happy with the purchase. There is much more business to come with such great service and prices. Keep in mind that Glory Cycles is a full service, brick and mortar shop! Because of that, they can handle all your needs from A-Z. Professional advice, full manufacturer warranty coverage, and real people to answer all of your questions!I highly recommend Glory Cycles for all your cycling needs!
Update: After I requested the order to be cancelled and be issued a refund the item was back in stock that same day. I asked them to ship the order and provide a tracking number. Of course nothing happened. Man I cant believe these guys are such dishonest people! At this point Im looking at almost $1600 loss on this FAKE bike shop.Ordered a road group set online and apparently one of the components was not in stock. Thus my shipping was delayed. I just wish their website reflected this fact or I was notified upon placing the order. After waiting several days I inquired about why my order since it had not yet shipped and was told about the delay. Not cool at all!
I ordered some Campy equipment from them recently. I’ve called for two days now trying trying to get an order update. Nobody answers the phone. I get cut off. Not sure if the company is still in business.Let me know if anyone can help.
I emailed enquiring about an e-road bike....being a fairly articulate road biker but new to the world of the e-bike...and, frankly, a little shy about doing it. Glory Cycles took the time to answer my *many* questions, I got very quick responses to my enquiries, and wound up buying the Orbea Gain. It was about 15 percent less than I could have gotten it anywhere else, and was delivered directly to me within two weeks. I was provided a tracking number and shipping updates. Communication and customer service were A plus. The bike itself is absolutely as promised...I did my homework independently as well as relying on the info provided to me by Glory Cycles....I have battled with a back problem that has plagued me on the bike for the last year or so and made riding over 40 miles impossible, less if there are lots of climbs or a tough headwind (anything that requires a lot of pressure on the pedals). I have done EVERYTHING. Bike fit, shoes, chiropractic work, KT tape, changed my traditional bike, yada yada yada. Nothing helped. So, short of hanging it up and riding a beach cruiser to Starbucks, I thought this would be worth a shot. The Gain is a nice bike in itself...I don’t know that anyone who isn’t *really* checking it out would even notice it’s an ebike. On zero assist it feels a bit tail heavy, but not unmanageable. Level 1 assist is enough to take the pressure off my back on all but a heavy climb (I am a small, light woman...it may be different for a heavier rider) and Level 2 felt too zippy for me for “just riding” so I felt like I had plenty of power should a huge mountain pop up out of the Texas landscape...or whatever. In short, the bike does what I need it to do, which keeps me riding, which is why I bought it...which is what was advertised. THANKS!
Like everyone else I ordered an accessories that was listed as in-stock but turns to be out of stock and they had to Order it from supplier its now been 3 weeks. I hate it when companies like these are quick to take your money but are extremely delayed at delivering your product. Worst of all after the 3 weeks I had to call them directly requesting an update why didnt I get an update? this will be the last time I ever buy anything from this untrustworthy company.
Ordered a product online which they apparently did not have in stock and had to be acquired from their distributor. Thus my shipping was delayed. I just wish their website reflected this fact (zero qty on hand) or I was notified the item was not in stock upon placing the order so I could have potentially sourced the needed part from another retailer. Instead I found out several days later after inquiring about why my order had not yet shipped.Secondly, according to the invoice my order was supposed to be shipped via Fed Ex ground. Glory Cycles then FURTHER delayed delivery after they cheaped out and sent it USPS instead. It didnt arrive on the USPS expected delivery date which is typical of my experience with USPS. It actually arrived 4 days after the expected delivery date.I live in a major metropolitan city and boxed items delivered with USPS have a propensity of disappearing before or after delivery. If they had sent the package with Fed Ex, as they were supposed to, I could have had my order held for pickup at a nearby location. Ill just stick with the major online retailers for my bike parts and accessories.
Great mom and pop online bike business. Great salesmanship, they are not pushy and never rip you off.
I wanted to take the time and thank Andy for his professionalism and responsiveness to my phone calls and emails. I could have purchased my Enve 4.5 Ses clincher wheel set any where, I live in Fl. I didnt because Andy right from the start had the best price, plus Andy himself has been one of the most knowledgeable and friendly people I have talked at any cycle shop therefore I purchased them from Glory Cycles. Its quite clear he knows his stuff and he helps you make the right decisions on your purchase based on your needs. GLORY CYCLES IS TRULY TOP NOTCH! BEST REGARDS Derik Mackenney
I needed a Campy part for my front derailleur and this was the only place I could get it. It’s in downtown Greenville. These guys seem to really know their stuff relative to Campy. I have been having a pesky shifting problem that nobody could seem to fix or even tell me what was wrong. The guy that runs this place put it on the stand and told me what the problem was in about 45 seconds. Turns out there’s a worn part in the shifter. He told me what was happening and how to minimize or avoid the problem till I could get it fixed. He said I could put it off till it got worse and I could spare the bike for a week, since they have to send the shifter off. I’m doing what he said and sure enough it works. He did suggest I just buy a new bike to use while they had the other one – a $11,000 Pinarello. I’ll be passing on that though.Anyway, this guy actually knows what he’s talking about with Campy and you might want to let him take a look at your situation. His name is Clive.
Great company to work with! Bike shipped fast, worked well, great price and selection.
Poor inventory management by Glory. A small part inventory is not hard to keep track of and should be easy enough to remove items that are out of stock. I purchased a camera mount on a Sunday evening. I waited patiently for a tracking number and never received one. Finally three business days later (on the day my package should have arrived for the shipping I paid for) I received thisUnfortunately weve made an error here and this item should not have been listed as available. We do not have a date from Shimano for when we will see more. Ive gone ahead and refunded your order in full.Very sorry! While I appreciate the email, I find it difficult to understand two things. 1) why the item was even on the website (or not marked as unavailable) if you knew you were out of stock and had no time table on which to get it back in stock (dont throw Shimano under the bus for your own doings). Having worked with Shimano directly in the past, a phone call to them can figure out when their expected time table is to get the part in. 2) why did it take 3 business days to reach out to me or even tell me?I could have ordered from another place to get the product and had a good time recording this weekend, instead I am left without a mount still and no time to order one without an expensive overnight shipping fee. I could have lived with being told Monday evening the part was not in stock, but you waited until late in the week to even notify me.That is just bad business practices. While unhappy I will say they were professional in their email (outside of time of sending) and hopefully will fix their inventory problem so this doesnt continually happen to their business.
Extremely Rude. Would not recommend.
I never thought I would by a bike on line. I have worked with my local bike shops, but have had inconsistent experience with some and others did not have the bikes I was interested in buying. When in SC, my friend wanted to stop by as he was interested in a pinarello. At the time, I did not plan on buying, but after I returned home, started thinking about a new bike. I was still skeptical about purchasing something that I would have to set up myself and having it serviced locally when I purchased somewhere else . After emailing Clive, it became clear that he knew what he was experienced with this process. He had me send a couple pictures of my current bike and told me what to expect wiht a new bike and suggestions on sizing and set up. He worked with me and answered multiple emails to help me determine what I wanted. We then spoke on the phone after shop hours to accommodate my schedule. I came to the conclusion that his recommendations for size and various components were going to be as good if not better than what I would get locally. The price was better and no tax and free shipping would more than offset the price of the free tune up I would get if I purchased locally. As far as local service, the components are essentially made by three companies and shamino components are the same regardless of the frame - same for sram, and campagnalo, so less concern about future needed service. It took a few weeks to order everything and get it together and shipped, but Dixon kept me updated when I asked questions throughout the process. It required putting together the handle bars, front wheel and saddle and setting up the computer. I had to read some to do this, but between a few emails and searching on line, I was able to get it together and ready to ride in a day.Overall, this was a great process and I would buy from Glory again as they exceeded my expectations.
Bought a new BH from them online, (they were the closest retailer for BH...no brick & mortars sold BH in Florida at the time). I must say, I was somewhat concerned about purchasing a $4K bike from an online retailer. Had to wait a bit for bike, but to their defense bad storms were blowing through the Carolinas at the time I ordered so they were closed a few days). Bike arrived about 3.5 weeks later in pristine condition...the packing was bomb proof and the bike was unscaithed. It was built as I ordered it and was set up mechanically perfect. They even color matched the cable ends to the accent colors on the frame....awesome. Clives call for frame sizing was spot on considering all I gave him was height, weight, torso size and the type of riding I do. He worked with me extensively to spec components that were all business yet cost effective. I would recommend purchasing a bike from them without worry.
Glory Cycles is now my LBS. The entire Glory staff has a great attitude and always delivers. Clive, the Owner/Operator/Chief Mechanic offers an expert, no nonsense approach to obtaining what you want while also subtly introducing what you might need. After one particular dark January with no less than a dozen flats, Clive convinced me to try road tubeless, the results have been fantastic. In the past, Glory installed a new Campy 11sp Record groupset on my older frame. I have also purchased a Campy Shamal wheelset, an Orbea 29er and a closet full of Assos from the team at Glory.
Amazing people work here!
Same as everyone else order something that says is in stock and now I have to wait for the manufacturer to mail them the part so they can mail me the part. I would have just ordered straight from the manufacturer stay away for online sales
