Today, I paid this shop $120 plus installation and fees for one General Altimax R43 tire. Looking online afterward, this tire retails for about $75, on average.Markups are one thing but this is ridiculous. Learn from my error. Shop around and research it if your tire needs are not urgent. Had I done so, there would be about $40 in my pocket and not in Mr. Automotives pocket. Absolutely no reason for this price discrepancy. And obviously I wont return here for tire purchase needs.

2016 4 Runner at 60K, took car in for slow leak, tire rotation, oil change. So got charged what dealer does, forgot to fix flat, broke a tire stud ($185.00 at Toyota), did not top off fluids. I am 67, no one has ever broken a wheel stud, let alone want to charge extra for it. Shame on me, I did not check, these guys are not AAA approved or part of better business bureau. They did not check break wear etc like the dealer either.

Good shop for oil changes and minor repairs.

I have used Mr. Automotive since I moved to Green Valley 6 years ago. I have never needed big jobs, just oil changes and tire rotations. Today I needed them for an electrical problem that caused my car to die without any warning a couple of weeks ago, requiring a tow to get to their shop. I feared it could be a big job. I made an appointment, was assured they could handle electrical problems as well as mechanical problems, and had my car towed to get to the shop a day before my appointment so it would be available for them to start work right away when they opened on my appointment day. I thought there was a good possibility some major electrical components could have failed. I got a call mid-afternoon the day the car was towed, informing me they had already repaired it by replacing the failed battery. They had to reset all the computers, had checked out all the electronics, test drove the car and said everything worked fine. The total bill was less then $200. They could have taken me for a big repair bill and I would have been none the wiser, but I didnt expect them to because I have always found them to be honest, in addition to doing good work and always keeping their promised appointment times. I highly recommend them.

Called multiple times to an appointment for service of my car. They took my name and number several times and said someone would get back to me shortly. They never bothered to return my call all day. Have no time for that kind of service. Thumbs down to me. Automotive.

I’ve been to Mr. Automotive several times, for small repairs. They are always very courteous and friendly. Brent has helped me most of the time. It’s been minor repairs so far. I will use Brent for all of my auto repairs that he is able to repair.

Called on a Thursday, said they would have someone call me back. Called again at 1pm Friday, said they would have someone call meI asked when, they said there closed sat & Sunday? All I had was a question,and maybe get a quote! Still no response! Sad!

Great work by the team here! They were honest, fair priced and even found parts to my door that no other place could find! And they had the part shipped in from another state. I think this place is absolutely the one stop shop for mechanics on ANY vehicle! Oh, And The waiting room is very large and graciously accommodates the comfort of customers...(unlike other mechanic shops in the area,not going to mention any names...) I know for certain after my recent experience with them, that I can leave my vehicle at Mr.Automotives without any worry! ... Because Mr.automotive is the best of the best in the south-west! Thought that I may have had a braking problem. Needed to get it checked out prior to driving back to Oregon. Brent was able to squeeze me in for a look and oil change. Good report on brakes....no problem. Not talked into un needed work. Had oil changed in same appointment. Friendly service and comfortable waiting area.

Close by and easy to get to from just about anywhere. Clean shop with a seemingly good staff of mechanics. Prices are in line with other similar service businesses. Have had a few jobs done and Im very satisfied. They are my go to service center when I need them.

BRENT SELF managed to squeeze us in to change our oil and check brakes on our 2006 Tundra. Could have tricked us into big buck repairs but honest and professional. Nice waiting room next door to small convenience store.

Terrible customer service. Simply asked for a price on a compression test. Was then treated like an idiot for even inquiring about one. Asked me to come in at 130 to scan my vehicle. When I arrived I was then harassed in the front lobby. Scan was never performed. When I was finally able to receive price for a simple dry compression test he quoted me at 260.16. So I inquired a another mechanic 85 max he said. Will never return and will spread word about my experience.

Friendly staff. Air is working, not sure about the cost of I could have gotten it done cheaper, but it is convenient.

I have all of the confidence in this shops ability. Ive tried the other local shops - they cannot hold a candle to Mr. Automotives abilities, prices and service. For those who think they are overpriced, trust me, you get what you pay for. Example: Polsky Tire. Diagnosed my wifes car needing a valve job because of the road noise. WRONG! Actual problem? Front, left bearing was shot! Glad I got a second opinion before her wheel fell off the car.While there, I have actually seen where Dave offers customers cost-effective alternatives. DO NOT USE THIS AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE PROVIDER UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND. Does an nice job, but Dave is way OVERPRICED on all services. Feel sorry for his captive audience of older retirees. Recent simple transmission service was $30 higher than it should have been, $210 INSTEAD of $185. Recent estimate for work requested was over double what it should have been. The work was estimated between $850 and $1350 dollars, plus tax. I got it done two days later after a 30 minute drive to Tucson for $500 taxes included. As part of this discussion I also mentioned I was in the market for new tires and was curious what hed recommend. He recommended the three worst tires you could buy Kuhmo, Yokohama and Hankook. I bought Firestones at Walmart. Speaking of Walmart Id consider Walmart before Id go to Mr Automotive for repair work. Clearly his less than congenial across the counter attitude and work estimate made it clear he did not want my business. Interestingly, while I was waiting to speak Dave about the work I needed done three people came in looking for Brent and when given the option to talk to Dave they all said theyd rather talk to Brent at their other store and left. After I challenged Dave on his price quote for the work I needed his last words to me were...Well we are not looking for work around here. Enuf said.

My check oil light went on, so I made an appointment. Apparently when I had my last oil change they did not properly put the seal on. Mr. Automotive fixed it at no charge. This will be my go to auto repair store from now on!!!
