Trunk door flopping up and down; wouldn’t stay shut. Pulled in without an appointment and though they were completely booked, squeezed us in. We were traveling and 150 miles from home. Owner Matt was exceptionally polite, had problem fully diagnosed, and contacted (sort of) local Honda dealer who did not have the part. Matt did a temporary fix to keep the trunk closed while we travelled home. He gave us a full diagnosis including part number to give to our local auto repair shop. As I write this, it is now being installed and I feel really grateful to Matt, his staff and the Gasoline Alley business in Green Valley. You will be in good hands!!!!

Matt always takes great care of our vehicles as though they are his own. We trust that he is “steering” (no pun intended) us in the right direction, and gets us back on the road safely. This is the best place to have work done on your vehicle. The entire staff goes out of their way to be friendly, helpful, and professional. Matt the owner is honest and a great mechanic. I havent interacted with all of the technicians yet but have observed their interactions with other customers and couldnt be more impressed. They always tell you what they found, and when possible show you and explain what that means so you have a better understanding of the problem.This is the only place I will ever take my car from now on. Being new to Arizona i found my 70 Pontiac 400 Ram Air engine did not like the heat. Matt, Will and mechanic Ray spoke my language. They installed performance parts, totally fabricated a new shroud and mounting and found old components on their own to complete a stock appearing conversion. They were on time, on point and my car is performing as it should be. On top of that I was always kept informed of the progress and called to help make decisions on what they were doing. Every person in this shop had a smile on their face when interacting with me. Top notch work for a very reasonable price and a Veterans Discount to boot. Gasoline Alley has earned my business. I’ve used Gasoline Alley in the past for a routine oil change, but now I’ve relocated to the area and needed help with a problem on my Malibu. I did some research on a rough restart after the fuel savings “auto shutdown” feature. Matt, the owner, also did his own research and suggested it might be covered under a power train warranty. He referred me to a local dealership and it was indeed a covered repair. That saved me hundreds of dollars thanks to Matt and his reputable repair shop.Needless to say, Gasoline Alley is where I’ll return to for not only their professional service, but their honesty and integrity..... You want an honest mechanic and top quality work, this is the place to go. My brakes were grinding a bit and they checked and said pads were good, plus checked all belts, fluids etc. He did not charge me anything for this. I was very impressed.

Matt and his guys were a refreshing surprise. They prepared my car for a cross-country trek, offered options for tires, answered my questions and requests, shuttled me back and forth, and best of all gave me a few laughs. I couldn’t tell you about pricing. I feel, in general, prices are higher across the board in Green Valley. But, I don’t mind paying when I have such automatic trust and confidence. A couple of weeks ago, I was in a real pinch as my window regulator went out in my vehicle while I was running errands. The window was all the way down and I couldnt get it back up at all..even with tools I had at home. To add to my distress, I had a job interview in Tucson that day within a couple of hours of this happening and did not want to leave my window rolled down while at the interview.I contacted Matt and his crew. They went above and beyond my expectations with their customer service. His crew fixed my vehicle in between other slotted appointments they had already taken on for the day. In addition, one of the service guys drove me back home so I could start getting ready for my interview and picked me up when my car was ready. I made it to the interview...didnt get the job, but gained a repair shop. As a person who has an extensive career in customer service and providing that above average standard to my own customers/guests I interact with...I was blown away by the friendliness, integrity and willingness of the Gasoline Alley crew to assist me during a stressful time. Matt fit me into the schedule not for profit, but he knew I needed assistance quickly and was going to make it work. They did what they said needed to be done to my vehicle, but never checked their work whatsoever. So now I have to take my vehicle back in because bolts are loose. Wiring is touching the intake manifold melting the vacuum lines. And my cruise control worked when I gave it to them .1.5 wka later its hasnt worked since I got it back. !

It’s hard to believe that this place gets any bad (legitimate) reviews.A friend recommended G.Alley to me and I had my oil changed there today; a nice bonus surprise was that my friend earned a $10 referral credit and I was given a $10 credit also towards my bill.I was not charged for a minor fix to my back window, which required the door panel to be removed; they even took their time to clean the duct tape residue off from the window and door.The entire time I sat in their office, waiting for my car, I observed professionalism and courtesy by office staff and mechanics towards their customers; they were up front with all of their customers.I would highly recommend Gasoline Alley.

They were recommended so when I had an issue with the airflow on my Toyota Camry. They looked at it and there was a missing bolt and loose wire. It was fixed and no change. My friend and I drove to Green Valley from San Diego in her 2003 F-150, to spend Christmas with my sister. While here we broke down on the side of the road in the evening on a dark road . AAA responded to our call and gave us 3 options for AAA approved mechanics. We luckily made the right choice with Gasoline Alley. The truck was towed to their shop at 7:30 PM . The next morning which was a Friday, Will called my friend and discussed the problem A broken belt and another damaged part. We were afraid we would not be able to get the truck repaired before the weekend and our scheduled departure of Sunday morning. Will was kind enough to put a rush on the repair and had the truck back to running in the late morning. We are so grateful to Will for his knowledge, professionalism and fast service . Being a girl and getting your car worked on can give you some serious anxiety. I went in because my brakes were making some crazy noises. Went in and they pulled my car in and then walked me out and showed me why it was making noises and constantly reassured me of how the repair and everything was going to work. Gave me an estimate and told me I could even shop around if it made me feel more comfortable. After researching and calling my grandfather I had the work done. Highly recommend this place for any lady who needs some work done!

Winners of the Honesty in Business award!!! Paid with cash and accidentally overpaid $50. Matt called and said hed have it in the drawer and to come get it whenever. Great service and communication. Took my truck in with an electrical issue and had it back in a day and a half. Highly recommended.

Total rip off shop! Don’t take your car here unless you want your hard earned money basically stolen! They just throw money at the problem until they guess correctly! That’s your money they are spending on the wrong parts until they finally find what’s actually wrong! I would leave zero stars if it were possible! Or better yet, negative!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS! After being recommended by a local friend about the mechanics here I decided i would go to have a couple rusted bolts removed. All the mechanics are friendly and I now know why, in their heads they are thinking What a sucker of course I will help you. These mechanics are corrupt and will overcharge you in labor, parts, and use your vehicles to learn how to do jobs they dont do. ALL THE WHILE MAKING YOU PAY EXTRA FOR THE TIME THEY ARE THERE LEARNING. I dont think any of them took the ASE certification seriously, and if they did they somehow managed to get by without full knowledge. The job was simple, remove 4 rusted bolts (1 was missing its bolt head) Albeit a job but to take 3 hours! I wouldve been more okay with it if they had any care about checking the cars for other repairs needed so I planted a test to see if these mechanics were ones I could trust. The rotor was in pretty bad shape and being right by the brake calipers I would figure they would see the bad shape it was in. Not only did they miss it but were taken aback that I would bring the new rotor in that I wanted them to replace as they all gave me stares when i brought in the part and said I thought you would notice, but you didnt. This company will take your money, your time, and all the while laugh to the bank. They dont care about informing their customers about anything. No quote, no estimate, just the bill.

On a road trip from New York State and visiting Madera Canyon, I needed an oil change. Someone suggested Gasoline Alley. I called them and they took me first thing the next morning. Being 2,500 miles from home I could only hope that theyd treat me fairly and not try to take advantage of an out-of-towner. I neednt have worried. Friendly, efficient, competent, and business-like, I can honestly say these guys are the best. They did the job at a very fair price (even a veterans discount), didnt try to sell me any additional work, and I left a very happy customer.I would recommend Gasoline Alley to anyone in need of honest, competent mechanics who stand behind their work.

Traveling through the area while going cross country with the family. Ended up having an overheating issue with the car. Asked a local for a recommendation, they mentioned this business and we are so glad they did. We didn’t have an appointment, but they said they would be glad to take a look. It turned out to be something quite simple, and they had us in and out in short time. Glad we found this shop, they could have soaked an unknowing traveler, but they were quick, honest and reasonable with the fee considering we weren’t scheduled. If we lived closer, I would use this business as a regular customer. Thanks for the help, we couldn’t be happier.

Recommended by a trusted friend, I called Gasoline Alley, even though Id never been there, from the N side of Tucson with bad noises under the car. Mathew said he could see me as soon as I could get there, and if I couldnt get there he would recommend a towing company. The repair turned out to be with the new set of shocks/struts installed badly by another repair shop! GA fixed the problem and sent us on our way with no charge. Can you believe that? And he never bad-mouthed the other shop, he said occasionally everyone overlooks things. Ill be back to Gasoline Alley next time I need service.

Took my car in to get a few things while there with my son this spoiled little kid came in throwing a fit about his rusted out subaru his mouth was repulsive, the staff however were Very professional and when the owner came out even he was professional while the brat was throwing a fit still I would have lost it at this point had it not been for the owner throwing him out repairs were fair prices (a little under average ) they were completed quicker than they quoted and confirmed done correctly . All in all these guys do a great job and keep it highly professional !

Being a long time resident of GV I have gotten to approach multiple mechanics around the area. Unfortunately of the 6 i have gone to Gasoline Alley provides the worst service of them all. I regret spending my time with such an ill mannered owner.

Did a cross country trip to California caught a flat in Arizona these guys fixed me up and got me on my way in no time.
