Love using Brake Max. For years they have been servicing our vehicles. They always take great care of our vehicles. They have flexible scheduling. Their prices are fare. They communicate greatly while the vehicle is there. I always feel like I’m driving a safe, well cared for vehicle.

I love this Brake Max location in Green Valley! We do not trust any other service center because we trust the staff here so much! Jimmy and Ricky have been outstanding in customer service and they are the first honest service staff that we have had the pleasure of working with! We love knowing that not only can we trust what they are saying but they work they have done on our vehicles has been outstanding and always completed in a timely manner. I had a 4:30 pm appointment and as usual they are always so nice and helpful. I forgot to ask about tire rotation and they also did not ask if I needed one. Would have been helpful to have the reminder. Otherwise, great team and service here.

Just came home on military leave the day before this horrible event. My wonderful fiance called in to get my cars tire replaced since it kept going flat. They were able to find it in the system and she asked if they could order the tire since I had the warranty. Guy said of course she said she would be there after work to get it replaced she showed up and was told that they dont order tires for customer unless if they come in and order it because of no shows even though we had been in the week previously to have a water test done to the tire. So they set up to order the tire this time the same guy was unable to find me in the computer so he ordered another tire that would fit. Come Wednesday I fly in and they have the tire turns out they found me in the computer and cant offer me a deal to pay the difference or buy the tire out right since I needed it. They than told me they would order the tire my warranty covered. This took a week and one day to come in. It unacceptable I had a complete flat and a donut only gets you so far. If you need tires skip these guys they will screw you over big time hit up Big O Tires they got me a tire same day same brand just different model fits fine. We have the warranty tire in the garage as a spare for now. I will never do business with these guys again because they have integrity and diligence.

I had the worst experience ever at the Green Valley Brake Max (#14). I made an appointment for a battery check for my 6 year old battery and also an oil change. An hour an a half later, they said youre all done! The bill was going to just be for the oil change. I inquired about the battery and was told it needed to be changed but they hadnt bothered to relay the the results of the battery check to me but did tell me it was about at the end of its life and needed changing. I asked about batteries in stock and was told they had one (36 month) battery in stock. I asked about a better battery and was told they could get one but Id have to wait while it was delivered. I noticed the invoice indicated they had rotated my tires but indicated they had low tread life left. Since I had replaced two of the tires on the vehicle last month due to a sidewall puncture I knew that was wrong and then was fairly certain they hadnt bothered to rotate the tires at all. I would call the manager at the store but Im fairly certain I would be wasting my breath. I paid for the oil change and left with the intention of never going back and spreading the word about how Brake Max treats people.Since this review was posted the manager at Brake Max reached out to me and offered to settle my bad experience. We reached a fair settlement. Based on this experience, I will continue to use Brake Max services.

Had to clean an oil mess left by the shop. Got home and found oil dripping on my garage floor. Had to lift the car and check that everything was in place. It was a mess of oil left from when they replaced the filter and wasnt cleaned. A little attention to detail goes long way at the end with the customers.

Went here instead of Firestone, because the werent as busy. They said i could pick my car up in two hours, and took a littlw more then three hours, which is fine. That happens sometimes. But then i had to ask if there was anything wrong. And the guy had to go look at the papers to see that there was something wrong. They couldnt get the alignment right because of two bolts that needed to be replaced.They werent going to replace them or even tell me about them. Thats not how you do business..

Needed a tire repaired. Very fast, friendly service and there was NO CHARGE!

I brought my flat tire to them hoping they could repair it (vs replacing it)around 2 pm. By 3:30 they called me to say they patched it and it was ready to pick up. When I got there they offered to put it on my car for me. It took about 20 minutes. I sat in their quiet lobby and waited. They put my spare away and the best part is they didnt charge a penny. I purchased a warranty when I bought the tires there a little over a year ago.

Not only was this the most expensive oil change I’ve ever had, but Tim was incredibly unhelpful and uncommunicative. I dropped off my car to get the oil change around 2:30. It was 5:30 and they close at 6 and I hadn’t heard from them. I called to check the status and he said they were almost done. I called again 15 min later and asked if I should just come get the car because I haven’t heard anything from them talking me to come pick it up. He told me that he thought I was already on my way. This was never discussed.When I got there it was 5 til close and he was chatting with a customer. Once I got to the counter it was 6 and he answered the phone and began to assist them as I stood there. This was upsetting because I felt like I didn’t have time to dispute the price of my oil change.Finally I get to my car and the passenger window has been left rolled down in the parking lot!! I was NOT happy and I do not recommend this place to anyone. They do not respect your time or property. Unprofessional.

I started using Brake Max because I could make an appointment. I continue using Brake Max because they get my car serviced promptly, they are professional, and they have excellent customer service. Jimmy is friendly and professional and always makes sure things are done right.

This was my first time at BrakeMax in recent memory and I was very pleased!

I strongly do not recommend. I have been taking all my vehicles here for oil changes and recently a $220 AC service for my van, here for years. I was always dealing with up-selling and recommended, over-priced services. I get it. I can understand and appreciate the hustle of sales.The breaking point with Brake Max was today I had my routine oil change appointment and when I arrived the attendant said my conventional oil change is $49. I mentioned the last 13 times I have had oil changes here it was $32 out-the-door. The attendant, without ever looking away from his computer screen, timidly remarked about corona virus, 4.5 liter engine, what we put in last time, I need high-mileage etc. I cut to the chase with the ultimatum of matching previous prices for the same service or Ill be moving along (I would even understand a slight increase in price citing corona or inflation, not double). He kept clicking away at his keyboard and while avoiding eye contact said I dont know man, I just work here.I left. I drove the 200 yards to Brake Masters and they got me right in with a smile, confident customer engagement and accommodated my request for a later pick-up time and did so for the reasonable price of $34.99.Bottom line: you have plenty of options. Walmart does oil changes while you shop for half the price of Brake Max. You do not need Brake Max. They need you more than you need them. Take your money elsewhere.

Took in for a routine oil change and a check engine light and they were able to find out what caused it and fixed it in a couple hours time. Jimmy also was great with helping out with price and getting it down with coupons. Really appreciate the straightforwardness and efficiency! Been our go to place since we moved in the area.

This was my first time using BrakeMax and I was impressed. The prices and quality of work seemed to be inline with each other. I decided not to wait in their lobby for three work to be completed, but i did look comfortable with seating and a tv.Overall, Id use them again.

Went to BRAKEmax on Saturday to service my tire. Reception was great. The attendant was pleasant and professional. He advised that the tired was damaged beyond repair and so a new tire was ordered under my protection plan. I got a curtesy call on Tuesday to say that the tire was ready. I went back and again the service was prompt. On the return of my keys. I went to check the tire and also to make sure that the spare was replaced in its rightful place. The spare was in the back of the car. I went back into the store to ask why it was not placed under the bottom and was told it was due to a padlock that was noted on the chain which would prevent it from being lowered to attach the spare. I ask them to try as I did not believe that this was a real issue. The attendances came out and tried and the chain came down no worries and the spare was placed in its rightful place. I am great full that they listened and tried and that it all turned out well. I will use Brake Max again and will take my daughters car there also and also refer my friends. Thanks again for listening to the costumer. Thanks for a job well done.

When you leave your car somewhere to be repaired, the biggest thing you need to have between you and your mechanics is trust. My very life depends on.their expertise. Thei are also professional and polite. I would recommend them to anyone.

I took my 2018 Subaru into the Sahuarita BRAKEmax for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation. This is the second visit for my car. During the first visit in Dec 2020, they also inspected my tire depth and brake pad thickness as part of the service. This time, June 2021, they reported GREATER tire depth on all tires, including the spare. This is not possible. Also, they skipped the brake pad inspection altogether.They seemed very stressed and too busy this time around. I hope they are able to solve their issues should I decide to come back again.The staff is very friendly. Just a bit overworked apparently

I took a brand set of tires to have them mounted, balanced and vehicle aligned to promote longer tire wear. Employees were friendly, and since I needed service before leaving for a trip I didnt mind paying so much!!! My truck is still pulling to the right after two alignments, store agreed to refund for alignment. My two front tires are showing premature wear after three weeks of use. Since I did not purchase tires from them I am more than likely at a loss.Updated: took vehicle to another shop,turns out alignment was off and tires were off balanced. Tires had excessive weights installed, so out of the mounting, balancing, and alignment only the mounting was done correctly at Brake Max.Most employees were wearing a mask but vehicle was not sanitized. Just be cautious.

I went in thinking and expecting to have to pay for brakes, but to my amazement they informed me that both my front and rear brakes were still good and don’t need to be replaced. They could have replaced them and charged me, and I wouldn’t have even know they weren’t needed.I appreciate the honesty, and I will definitely return to this location!

Great Service and Excellent Automotive Knowledge! We needed a lot of work to our Yukon and with the help of everyone at BrakeMax they worked hard to fix everything and keep the price fair. The facility is clean and state of the art equipment with techs and managers that know how to get the job done correctly, onetime and at a fair price.

Customer service is a 10/10. They fixed my problem and were pretty timely about it. My only problem was I signed up for their members credit card and I was supposed to get a discount because of the card but when I went to pay it off (on time) the discount was never applied. But I would still go back and recommend this place to others.

There is a reason why Brake Max here in Green Valley has a nearly perfect review score... John is AWESOME. Hes helped me up at the front desk a handful of times. I am a STICKLER when it comes to my vehicles. I do 99.9% of my work, tires and alignments are the only thing I visit the shop for. I have a masters in Engineering and used to design open wheel racecars along with aerospace equipment. I wrench constantly at my house and know my stuff... They also know their stuff at Brakemax. The mechanics back in the shop are VERY sharp and HONEST. Ive taken my vehicle to other tire shops to be told the wrong thing. Then took it over to brakemax where they aligned the truck and mounted my tires... Giving me an honest opinion and accurate assessment. Id trust these guys with even my folks vehicles. Theyre gr8, couldnt imagine getting my tires anywhere else!

Scheduled tires to be rebalance. Arrived late for apptmt. Added tire rotation & resetting tire pressure light. Everything was done & original quoted price was honored. Great customer service.
