I was in a situation where my Wife was about to get admitted in hospital for confinement immediately. At that moment my car broke and it didnt start. Called my insurance people, they were there immediately and confirmed that there is an issue with the Starter, for which my car has to be towed.Long story short: I have called several Car Mechanics with in 5miles radius and told my situation. None of them are ready to help at that moment and asked me to come next day and were charging way high. This happened at noon that day.PAMELA from this store, after explaining my situation, assured me that she will get my car ready before 6PM and asked me to get the car Towed to midas location.Its not only about the technical work they did, they did went above and done a great job as humans.We are grateful for your outstanding help. I got a state inspection done for my son’s truck. I called Pamela first to check to see how busy they were, she indicated it would be 30-40 minutes and she was exactly right. I bring many of my cars here for their reliable and reasonable prices. I recommend them confidently!
Went to get my vehicle inspected so I could get get my registration tags for it. I didn’t have a long wait so that was nice. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. Went in for an alignment and to have rotors turned as I was chasing around a shake in my rear end (thought to be the front) and a knock in my wheel wells. I replaced every front end suspension part (cv axle, stabilizer links, tie rods inner and outer, lower control arms on both sides) EXCEPT the strut mounts. The older gentleman there who is a tech told me to check my tire (had a chunk of metal in it) and the mounts without having the aforementioned information...Voila! Problem solved! Good people here at the Grapevine location, better than their other local locations.

Dont take your car here. I had a full diagnostic testing done on my Ford at Ford for the check engine light. I told these people what I needed. All I needed was a tune up and these people tampered with my fuel injector to get more money out of me. I dont trust them and Im sure they cant tell me better than the maker of my car whats wrong it. I only took it to them because Ford wanted too much for a tune up & because theyre supposed to have good ethics & mechanics. I was wrong in thinking so
Went in for brake job and inspection. They checked and determined I didnt need brakes after all. Very professional and honest people. Service is outstanding. I will be a returning customer.

I was unsure whether my car needed a starter or a battery. When I took it to Midas, mechanic (Kevin) diagnosed the problem as needing a battery. He not only installed the battery, but checked the car for other possible problems. The manager, Pamela) explained the battery guarantee. The facility was very clean. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Kevin (assistant manager) made fun of the car I drive directly in front of me, and he was very disrespectful towards me, a woman. If you are a woman, I highly suggest not coming here because you WILL feel disrespect by Kevin’s unwelcoming and condescending tone. I do want to mention that I did not get any service done on my vehicle because the 2 minutes I was there, I was bullied and treated with disrespect. Once again, Kevin is the assistant manager. Very unprofessional.
My husband introduced me to this place in 2015 and I can NOT recommend them enough! Vince and Ms. Pam always remember me, and are so helpful with every auto problem I have! Not only that, but my brother’s truck had a huge mechanical problem and they not only helped him affordably fix it, they offered a payment plan to help him make sure he could pay them AND not have to forego his rent and groceries for the month. Not only affordable, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE but guaranteed work. I used to go small business but MIDAS Grapevine make it as affordable and friendly as your mom and pop shop. Had my vehicle towed here due to the fact they were close and I thought Midas was a reputable company. I asked them to give me an estimate for a radiator that had been damaged from some road debris. After approximately one hour, I get a call from the store manager who starts out telling me I need new tires and brakes(not what I asked to be looked at) and a host of other things that werent what I requested. I had a large obvious hole in bumper and radiator which would seem like a priority. And I explained it was the priority. After being quoted an astronomical amount, I informed her that I needed to speak with my husband and I would call them back. Spoke with him and called back to inform them not to do the work. I was told that they had the parts there and had started the unauthorized work. I informed them I didnt want work done and that I would have vehicle towed. I arrange to have it towed to my home and called to let them know that someone would be in for the keys. At this time I was informed that I needed to pay $180 for the work that had been done. I never authorized work so how am I being charged? After wrangling back and forth, they agree to release my vehicle. But the condition I received it in is worst than when I left it with them. NEVER ALLOW THESE CROOKS TO TOUCH YOUR VEHICLE!!!!
I desperately needed to get my shedded serpentine belt replaced before making a long trip to OK, on Saturday. The woman who answered the phone was super nice & assured me that they would get me on the road & to take my time getting to their shop. This is not the first time that this team has taken care of me & my cars. They are kind, respectful, honest, and get the job done right. I highly recommend them & will continue giving them my business for years to come!

SCAM SCAM Went to get a oil change and tire roatation $45 ONLY. A hour later they gave me a bill for over $500. I did not authorized none of the EXTRA service. Ask to speak with manger ask to see cameras was denied. Never received and did not sign any paper work for extra services. SCAM BECAREFUL
Took about 2:30hrs just to get an oil change. The shop didnt seem very busy, however it might have been.
Brought my car in with a bad alternator which they replaced and provided a loaner car and were great. I decided to get a re-manufactured one instead of a new one to save $250, which cost me in the long run. Three months down the road my alternator has gone bad twice and the manager, Vince, went out of his way to ensure I was provided a brand new OEM alternator at no cost, provided a loaner car so I could drive to work, and even reset my warranty to 36k and 3 years from today. I am very happy with how they handled a unique situation and ensure Im not constantly worried about my car breaking down. Thank you!

Well thought Midas was a great outfit, until this last oil change. Having my 2017 Camry serviced at Tonys, since they were busy today. But get here today and Midas tightened the oil filter so tight, it now has to be chiseled off. Wont be going back to these idiots.
Very good all around car repair shop that can almost do it all at usually very competitive pricing. Ive had minor and major work on my wifes car and my pickup over the years and have been very happy with the quality of the parts they use and reliability of the repair being done right the first time around. But this month the main mechanic, (#1 mechanic, but also front counter work taking in cars and processes them out), was not using a facemask even though a sign in thier front door window stated it is mandatory to wear one to go inside. I had to ask him to put his on before checking my wifes car in, and he stated he wasnt enforcing the facemask order and was put out when asking him to put his on. He plainly stated that he didnt believe in them! When picking up my wifes car, again no facemask doing front counter work. 1 person in the waiting area was wearing a facemask, and I walked in wearing mine and again, he made no attemp to put his on, so I was forced to go along without his facemask on. This will be the last time Im patronizing their shop until the COVID-19 has a treatment and, or an immunization to stop the spread of death and suffering world wide!! PUT YOUR FACEMASKS ON Midas!! You would have been given a rare 5 star review from me otherwise for my last car repair. I dont want to risk the lives of me, my family, and community just for a car repair!! Please get with the program because businesses like yours is now part of the problem, not the solution in slowing the spread of the virus.

This Midas location is awesome! Ive taken my van there twice in the past two years during trips to Dallas. The guys are all very friendly and helpful, their shop and waiting area appear to be much more organized than most others Ive spent time in, their pricing is very reasonable, and they dont try to oversell you on stuff you dont need. In fact, they were very complimentary of my Honda Odyssey with over 270,000 miles on it! I was also happy they honored their website coupon even though I couldnt print it out as I was traveling. The Lego table and large fish tank are also big pluses for parents who need to keep their kids entertained during an errand oil change. Great Midas shop!
Went to get a resonator delete in my STI. They started at 8:25 and had finished the job at 8:48. I was charged 130$ (one hour of labor.) also, at the end of their installation/fitment they took my car for a “test ride.” Which consisted of one of the gentlemen redlining my car multiple times around nearby roads. Overall I am disappointed in complete experience there that morning. When I questioned the price due to the time the manager said, “they did special work.” The gentlemen there seemed professional, but I am not completely satisfied. Would not recommend to friends, or family.

First, customer service is great here!I went in on my lunch today with little time left for them to see the problem, and they finished right on time! Well I would have but I decided to get the rest of what was needed to be fixed on my vehicle.Great prices and they really educate you on what the problems are instead of feeling dumb when you leave and didn’t know if you were over charged or being told stuff just to take your money! Vince, the manager, was very helpful and patient with the questions and concerns I had. I’ll definitely be back and recommend them to anyone!!Grateful for good people!!
Every time Ive come here, its easy breezy. Ive been coming here the last few years. While Firestone (down the street) has a larger, newer spot, they always seem frenzied and/or slow. I called Midas at 8:30 am on a Thursday to see if i could stop in for some routine stuff. They answered on the first ring, and said the sooner, the better, as they had only 2 guys on in the morning. This time it was Chris who graciously helped me, but its been consistent every time. I got there by 8:45 am, and by 9:45 am, i was out the door with all 4 services performed. I enjoy the fact that the guys at Midas are friendly, actually talk to you, and enjoy everything cars lol Whether its catalytic converters (which they helped with on my old car) or a routine oil change, tire rotation, and new filters on the newer car. Midas Grapevine keeps it simple.
First time I went there my tires has nails on them. They fixed and told me that I didnt have to pay for it because they just covered the hole. They finished fixing my tires quickly at that time. Id say about less than 20 mins. I was pretty entertained by their fishes plus they have a friendly staff and smiling faces.Second time I went I needed my car maintenance this morning. Someone helped me again as soon as I came in and saw a smiling face again. I asked how long will I have to wait for my car to be ready and they estimated for about an hour. I didnt purposely timed them but when I went back to pick up my car they actually finished my car in less than an hour. Great service Midas! Youve earned yourselves a five star👍

I can’t say anything about the actual work done here, but what I can say is how awesome their customer service is! I ran out of gas just down the street from them and came in to get help, without hesitation they helped me get gas and even brought me back to my car to help refill it. I will go here in the future just because of how they treated me when I was in need.
Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust but ive been doing business with Vince for at least 6 years. Hes always taken care of us and works to earn your trust. Its been a pleasure to get to know him.

I dropped it off in the morning to get an oil change. She told me It will be a little while so I took a lift to Main Street and walked around for a bit. I called about an hour and a half later she said it would still be a little bit but couldn’t give me an exact time. I took a Lyft home. I waited another hour or so and called she said she was about to pull it in once a bay opened up. I showed up an hour and a half later to pick it up and it was still sitting where he parked it. They did nothing with it all day. It sat with them the entire day and they did nothing. Horrible customer service.
Good price and courteous staff... But, an oil change and inspection shouldnt take 3.5 hours after they had already estimated an excessive 2 hours. Also, after specifically asking for a tire rotation (which is standard with their oil change service) it wasnt done! I wont be back.
Went here on suggestion from previous coworker.staff seems friendly enough, went for power steering pump and then...According to my mechanically minded friend, apparently theres a core or part that needs to be reseated/replaced when you replace the water pump, which they didnt do and just let me drive off and a week later come back with more issues and they had to replace that and the water pump again. will they pay for the mistake? nope. just charged 1400 for the jobreply to owner. I addressed this before leaving. Dont give us these apologies.
Take your business elsewhere. They did a front caliper brake job, over charged me on the parts and did not torque the bolt down. I was on the freeway when the front wheel locked up and nearly caused a major accident. When I took the repair bill into the shop they were dumbfounded and asked me repeatedly why I did not bring my truck back to them for the repairs. I thought about filling a law suit against them. I just counted my blessings and learned a lesson. I will never take my vehicle to another Midas. I would not trust them to replace a windshield wiper blade!

They overcharged me for my services. $840 for an oil leak. They told me it was that expensive because alot of work needed to be done. I for one dont know anything about cars, so I went ahead and paid it. I ended up taking it to another mechanic in Lewisville who changed my brakes for me and they told me I was indeed overcharged for the work that had been performed on my car. I also have an issue with them lying to me about my headlights. I needed them to be changed, they told me they had to take the entire bumper off to install my bulbs. Which would be 30 minutes per light. Who spends an entire hour changing 2 bulbs? I went on YouTube, all I had to do was pop my hood and reach around to the socket and change my bulbs. It literally took me 2 minutes and 23 seconds to change both bulbs... They just want money from you, especially from the ones who dont know too much about cars. They prey on the naive...

BEWARE!! VinceJust called to ask how much it would cost to turn the rotors in my truck. Vince, the guy who answered the phone, proceeded to try and upsell everything right off the bat. Never even asked me what type of vehicle I drive. Just started adding stuff up. Immediately the warning signal went off that said SCAM SCAM SCAMMy issue: Very slight vibration right front. I just personally replaced pads. All I wanted was rotors turned.He told me1. Rotors with bearings cannot be turned (lie) they just replace whole unit.(???)2. I might have a ball joint issue. (Even though I just informed him I just replaced ball joints)3. Id probably need pads and rotors (Hey didnt you just hear me say I just replaced the pads?)Talking to this guy everything in my gut said STAY AWAY.
Have taken my Lexus here twice just for an oil change but with the quality of service and the customer service you would think that I was getting thousands of dollars of work done. Have gotten better service here than at Sewell Lexus! Sewell has nothing on the people who work here.Very impressed with the Manager Vince and his staff, especially the skinny young man who helped me today (the one wearing the yellow cap and talked about his wife and daughter). They didn’t try to upsell me anything, unlike most other places, and I actually heard them tell a customer that they didn’t need brakes yet. Wow.Customer for life.Thanks guys!

Long story short, this is the best place I have ever brought my vehicle.I encourage everyone to read below why this is true.I have nothing but incredibly positive remarks for this place. To begin, I want to give a shout out to the manager, Vince. He is absolutely incredible and gave me some of the best service I have ever received at any establishment ever.It all started when I took my 03 Suburban in for an engine light. Vince said he could check it for no charge and diagnosed the issue as a failed oxygen sensor in the exhaust. They gave me a quote and I found it high, but Vince gave me the paperwork so I could call around and get some other quotes which I found to be very honest. Not surprisingly Midas quote was the lowest by about $20 so they took care of it. I didnt have an appointment and was there only an hour before they closed but Vince said it was no problem. I was in and out incredibly quickly.What really surprised me and made me incredibly appreciative for this awesome employee was that he also informed me that my external temperature sensor which connected to my AC was shot. He gave me the part number so I could pick one up at OReillys and even told me I could bring my truck in the next day and he would replace it... FOR FREE! Sure enough I brought in the burb and they took care of it, once again no appointment, in just a few minutes.I had another issue with the AC which was unrelated and I had really learned to live with it. The flap that controlled where the air comes out (on the dash, the foot vent, etc) was broken and the air only came out of the defrost vent. Vince said they could take care of this for me, but I was really trying to save some money. I told him I wasnt really looking to spend anymore so once again he really surprised me with excellent service. He told me that my problem could be caused by one of several different things but they he could diagnose the issue for me, FOR FREE. Even when I told him I would probably take care of it for myself he still extended that offer. They diagnosed it as a module underneath the steering wheel and I said I would take care of it. I went and purchased the part, and went to install it in my garage. It took me nearly an hour to take out the old broken module, so long story short I took my truck back to Midas. Vince told me the issue would be an easy fix and quoted me 80$. I gave them the go ahead and they started work. It ended up not being an easy fix. It took nearly 5 hours to fix this truck as the problem was bigger than originally prescribed. They told me I could leave and come back or stay, (the truck was drivable) but I decided to stay for a while. I eventually did leave but when I came back to pay, it was only 80$. I was shocked. Nearly 5 hours of work for 80$. Vince apologized that it took so long and stuck with the original quote. I wasnt even mad in the first place that it took longer, but now I was thrilled with all the staff there. I had an opportunity to meet essentially everyone there while I waited and they are all incredible people. I do not plan on taking my truck anywhere else other than this place whenever I have the opportunity.I wish I was better able to articulate my appreciation and gratitude for these fine people. I will definitely return.
I cant believe they can sleep at night! Vince lied to me about a part on my sons car and when asked about it, lied again. They will completely take advantage of anyone that doesnt know about car repairs. Ive told many people what they said was wrong and what they did to fix it and it is comical and they dont care! If I made a bad decision shame on me, but to make a decision based on being lied to, shame on them!! Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, and do NOT let anyone you know go to this repair shop!!

Dealerships are NOT an option- they wanted 3X the $ for the EXACT SAME repairs AND with MIDAS, you get spectacular WARRANTIES, WOW!! You just CANNOT BEAT it!! Worst ever all I needed was an oil change the guy told me all kind of stuff was going to be wrong with the car if I dont get a filter and something else but after I got the oil change it felt like I never had no change the car ran worse than it was running before I actually received the oil change
I have been to this location twice and had my oil changed 0 times. The first time I went on a weekday in the middle of the day (3pm on a Thursday) there was nobody in the waiting room and 1 or 2 cars in the bay. They quoted me a wait of 1.5-2 hours and I had to get to another appointment at 5, so I made an appointment for Friday at 2:30. I showed up for my appointment and they told me they were 1.5-2 hours behind. Seriously?! I was not in the mood to spend 2 hours of my Friday afternoon in the waiting room of Midas, especially after making an appointment to avoid waiting. I took my business next door to Firestone without an appointment and got out in and out in an hour for the same price as Midass coupon price for full synthetic (the Firestone cashier applied their coupon without me even asking). Take your business elsewhere unless you want to spend half a day getting your oil changed (and thats IF they dont turn you away).

Two words money hungry. I went in today with a coupon for oil change, check belts, air filter, and have tires rotated for a total of $21.00 and then come to find out my car takes synthetic oil so then my total with the coupon came out to 79.98! I then called my father and he said just come home with the quote so he could look it over. Lets just say we will not be customers at midas.
