Super helpful staff. I was deciding between phones and there were multiple employees helping me at the same time. If they didn’t know the answer to a question they would call somebody else. It’s great to get a Midwest feel in a big corporate store. I’d definitely recommend getting an appointment before but they accommodated my walk-in.
No noNo help what so she gave us appoint. To best buy, but they didnt know why they did?It was very confusing
My phone could no longer make calls so I took the afternoon off, and headed to my carrier. After they diagnosed the device they told me that it had a fried motherboard caused by an Apple update. Apparently there is a pending lawsuit because Apples updated have been killing their old phones. Anyway, they told me if I went to the Apple store I would be able to get a replacement device. It was a 45 min drive for me but I headed to the store trusting they would be able to take care of me. When I arrived I got turned away for not having an appointment. After talking to a manager who was no help, I left very disappointed. From the parking lot I chatted with a very helpful Apple rep online who admitted to the issue, and directed me to Best Buy to have things taken care of.I wish the individuals at this store would have done more. Especially considering the fact that I drove across town, and could not call to make an appointment because their update caused my phone to quit working. My situation was unique, and they acted like there was nothing they could do. I will never shop this store again, and may ultimately make the switch from Apple.
Nice sales staff, nice customers, but the 1.4 million dollar television on the entire back wall is worth your time to visit. A excellent shopping experience on Apple products with an excellence of quality matched by no one else in that line of business and service.
Came in and was greeted, witch was nice but I want able to get notifications on my Apple Watch and the accounts couldent even tell me how to fix it. Instead he just directed me to call a number or have my watch repaired even though there was nothing wrong besides me not getting notifications. Will not be visiting again:(
Been waiting for 30 minutes now to be seen. I arrived at the time of my appointment. This is a simple drop off of an iMac for repair. This is to fix the previous repair that was completely botched. My organization has about 75 Macs. Is the kind of service I’ll receive every time I have a problem. They wouldn’t allow me to send it in for repair. Only option is to drive 45 minutes to this horrible store, then drive here again to pick it up when complete. What horrible customer service
Went to pick up a $1300 order and the staff in the store would not allow me to pick it up because of a medical condition. Made me go outside and sit in my car for over an hour for curbside pickup. Never received the items. Ive been an apple customer probably longer than the little boy has been alive.
Was OK. Feels a bit intimidating... not inviting. Having to schedule an appointment to pick up an online order was odd.
Nice service. Just double check your prices. The guy said $699.00 for the iphone 12 and when i got home i saw the recpite and it said $729.00 plus tax. But $699 and then $729 ? $30 dollars over charge..no way.
Great place to ask questions and nice display of products. Staff is welcoming.
Didnt know I needed an appointment, drove from a ways away and have to go back. Other than that the place was very nice and the people were courteous.
Erased all my daughters stuff on her iPhone. Came home and had to have tech supervisor fix it over the phone. On the phone for 1 1/2 hrs. But Patricia was awesome 👌. She did an excellent job. Wish I couldve said the same about the Apple Woodland store 😡😡
Had to go 3 times to resolve my issue, the last person was very professional and helpful
Im not a fan of Apple disappointed in not able to help my grandson solve his issue
It was an ok experience. I guess since I’ve never been inside a store and have only talked to Apple agents on the phone that I had high expectations. They were packed… I made an appointment the day before so I wouldn’t have to wait… still waited. And I was a little underwhelmed I guess. The first 3 people we delt with were super nice and eager.. but we kept getting passed around from person to person. And I didn’t expect that from Apple. Next time I’ll just buy what I need online.
For some reason all the workers seem to swarm you. I had 6 ppl helping my cousin get a new phone. We only needed one persons help. They kept pressuring her an talking down to her cause shes younger. The whole thing was a anxiety filled mess. Imo this is bad customer service.
I have an eight month old Apple Watch. It stopped charging. Called Apple customer service. They made an appointment for me. Got to the apple store, no appointment. That the rep probably entered it wrong. Waited 1 1/2 hours. While there the watch started to charge. They said if I had more problems to get online to request a box be sent to my house for repairs. No box came. Stopped at the store to drop my watch off, was told I needed an appointment. I could not even drop it off for repairs without one. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE PROCESS.
Pathetic customer experience. If I could give zero stars or negative stars, that would more appropriate and reflective of my visit. Its like dealing with robots. If you like interacting with people who cant think for themselves, and who have zero understanding of how to create a positive customer experience, this is the store for you.
Really nice store and the worker went out of his way to help me. Fast and courteous. Excellent store.
I personally Despise Apple for many reasons, But my Stepchildren they Love it, my Stepdaughter just Graduated 🎓With a Ivy League Education From PENN and she needed a new computer. My 1st attempt was sullied because they told me they were open untill 8pm, but when we arrived at 7:10pm they instructed us they were closed so I ended up ordering online and picking up in store and that was a easy process.
Disappointed because staff kicked me home. I was early for my pick up time and I had to come back at the exact time.
Quotes $1200 for a repair. Genius says needs new logic board, display and battery. Took it to a local professional, $75. It was a bad sensor. I did some digging and its like this across the board with all Apple stores. They are so anti repair they have even gone as far as to try to strike down a right to repair bill. My next computer will be a PC.Look up Louis Rossmann on YouTube.
Never go to this location. Posted hours are incorrect and when I asked if they could help troubleshoot my battery because it dropped 10% in the last month they said no and basically pushed me off on their applecare phone line. Horrible customer service towards someone who has been an Apple Customer for over 20 years.
Just awful, treated me like a criminal because I bought my macbook pro secondhand, had the recovery #s that only the original owner would have, had transcripts of conversations with the original owners, had a receipt of purchase from the original owners, but they wanted to have the original receipt from an apple store on a 2013 device in order to remove a firmware password and refused to help me. If only these had not been apple, this wouldnt have been a problem. Im not surprised why apple such a bad reputation and Microsoft is far superior. Its funny the tech who must have been 17, lol, a tech, yeah whatever, said that it was to insure that criminals dont wipe macbooks pros but the irony is that The only thing apple has over microsoft is that they refuse to work with law enforcement to backdoor apple products for convictions, imagine the child predators out there because apple refuses to help law enforcement retrieve kiddy pics, apple is disgusting.
You have no worries, they make sure everything is correct . I enjoyed the atmosphere, new products & suggestions.
I had phone issues on my iphone7. Couldn’t seem to get it fixed ever. I upgraded to a 11 for my grand daughter and I. We have had nothing but wasting time constantly trying to get them to work.I rest phones multiple times. The Apple care supervisor told me to go to the store and swap them for new ones since I have warranties. I took time off work 4th time and grand daughter off school came in Dani said nothing seems to show on running scans so he was resetting phones I explained Apple care sent me to Best Buy. They already reset my phone, they said need new phone. I came again to Apple on Sunday. The guy who set up an apt said it sounds like the hardware recall and to come Tuesday. We came Tuesday, Dani said he had to reset the phone first. Then I needed to see if that fixes the problem. I’m using my old phone and 11 most of my apps will not allow me to sign in on my new phone but working fine on my old phone.I don’t know too many people that have to pay for two phones to get a active phone.Right in front of Cassie and Danny they said it should work. I swiped my phone it didn’t swip.I showed them on the second swipe it worked so they both said see it works. NO! It’s nit working it shouldn’t have to swipe 15 times to shut the phone off. They tried telling my grand daughter she didn’t know how to do it correct. She’s had Apple phones for 5 years. On my fathers death day I had tried calling out, my phone was not allowing me to call out at all. It was frozen 18 times. It would allow me to turn on the phone then turn off the phone. My callers the next day was talking I couldn’t hear them.My phone keeps turning black. So does my grand daughters phone.Black! You can’t see the call at all. This is not correct. I have spent over 18 hours trying to get working phones.
Sorry Im old, Cant talk to a person by phone. The information the automated operator is asking for, I dont know what they are even talking about. Just wanted to make an appointment to come in.
Awesome store! They’ve got some of the BEST customer service ever! The team is great, the products are awesome. It’s literally everything you’d expect from Apple. The only negative thing is that this store seems to ALWAYS be packed. So expect a few minutes delay when you walk in, but there’s plenty of staff that make sure you don’t wait too long.
I was at the woodland Apple store today and want to thank Dan for his patience and knowledge as he help with my dads iPad. Dan you’re the man!😏
So helpful!! They went the extra mile helping with my iPhone and Macbook. Excellent service
Ordered the iPhone 12 mini through the Woodland store directly yesterday. The rep (Stacy) got me all set up and I was made an authorized user through Apple and my carrier. Upon trying to pick up I was refused after paying $250.00 towards the phone already.Note to self, safe yourself $$$ and the runaround with this store and just go through your carrier. Had the issue solved in 10minutes with AT&T.The only bonus was spending 45minutes with 1800MYAPPLE and they still couldn’t solve the issue so I was credited an additional $100.
Over complicated queue management but stuff are always helpful.
Wonderful family day, meeting for lunch and some shopping.
You cannot even walk into this store without feeling incredibly unnerving. There was no line and the store was mostly empty, but I got swarmed by security people right in front to go through a roped line nobody was standing in, take my temperature etc which is fine, but then he told me I needed an appointment and the next one was 40 min away. I just wanted a power cord. People were walking out of the store and there was no wait! I will never visit this Apple store again. They treated me like I was not an Apple customer. There must have been 7 people working the front that were just security, not Apple employees...never again.
Picked up an online order curbside was simple once I drove back to where I was suppose to be lol
Horrible customer service, I went in because my new iPhone wouldn’t connect to my Apple Watch. The guy helping me out had a bad attitude and was rude, he kept on rolling his eyes at me and giving me brief answers like “figure it out on your own” I was always polite to the guy, I understand that with the pandemic everything is more complicated but there’s absolutely no reason to give bad customer service. Needless to say I’m never going back to this apple store, I’d rather make the 45 minute drive to the one in Lansing.
Its an Apple store, so your experience wont be inconsistent to other Apple stores. In terms of pandemic precautions theyre taken seriously with well attended entrance to control incoming customers and triage appointments as well as separators between the employees and customers. Minimal wait times for the two times I visited.
I couldnt even get in the store and they were helping me with knowledgeable service personnel. I spent 30 seconds there!
Worse service ever! They have an express line for package pick up but apparently express means nothing! They have called people from the other line more often then from express. For supposedly being a smart store they are very smart!
Disappointed In this store as well as I phone 12. Store service was extremely slow even having an appointment. Then I ended up talking to three different people having to explain my problem to each . They all gave me any excuse they could come up with . They blamed my carrier on phone not working even when I had proof that carrier was not the problem. They were no help and when I asked what’s the next step I could take in getting my phone they had no suggestions. I am stuck with a 1000$ phone that doesn’t work. Apple quality and costumer service is terrible. Don’t buy this overpriced junk. So much for the warranty they won’t stand behind.
Terrible Customer service. The reps will talk over you and when calling will refuse to give your their name or agent number. This store is poorly ran and needs a better management team. You should not have employees who are service reps standing around doing nothing when people are trying to call to schedule an appointment and you will not answer your phones. So you are basically forced there to see what is really going on. Not a good way to treat people there are other companies just as good as Apple I can switch to and after this experience am highly considering it.
Apple Associate and manager were extremely rude and blamed my brand new iPhone 13 not working on my carrier and not because the phone is possibly defective.
Lol just stopped by to laugh at the sheep
Extremely safe setting during COVID-19, with reservations only (appointments and purchasing) and 15 min face-to-face (with masks and acrylic barriers) appointments. I worked with Jamie, who worked with her supervisor to make sure I got the best service and options for my iPad issues. Grateful for Jamie and the team making my experience as smooth as possible.
Im very confused with this Apple store. I have an issue that can only be resolved in the store which I made a purchase. I even called apple support and they said they cant help me because this was a in store purchase. They transferred me to the Apple Woodland store, before they did that I even gave them the heads up how I couldnt get a hold of anyone. I understand with Covid 19 that things are not normal and we all have to deal and adjust with this new situation. What I cant understand is how this store is running so different then the other ones. I actually went out there yesterday to see if I could just go to the window and talk to someone the security told me no. I noticed that other people were just as confused and frustrated as I was. Im actually driving to the store in Lansing Michigan to have them help me out. I called and got a hold of a store employee right away I told them my situation and they were able to help me and can take care of it today for me. I think this is so weird I have an Apple store in my backyard but there so poorly run through this time that I have to drive a hour. GREAT JOB LANSING STORE!
Tho security was nice and even helpful, this store has gone Covid crazy! You can’t go in, you can’t talk to anyone, but I could stand just outside their store and order my new phone online with someone! When just across the aisle I could go in a store and shop and try on clothes. Have some sense people.
Horrible customer experience. I went with my grandfather to help him find a new computer. After waiting ten minutes (with only about ten people in the store) we were finally acknowledged. The woman who helped us lacked so much knowledge it was unbelievable. She deliberately LIED to my grandpa saying that he had the best, most expensive model already, so he shouldnt get one any lower. In fact he had the most affordable, simplest model and it was more than enough for him.Staff obviously just cares about their commissions.Apple has completely failed at delivering a positive customer experience-other than its products. Keep making those billions!
Made an appointment to pick up an iPhone 12. Time of appointment was 1130. As soon as I got there I was immediately greeted and got my temperature taken as those are the temporary measures they are taking. And employee helped me right away with my pick up. I asked if I could exchange the 12 for a 12 pro and he said no problem but had to make another appointment which they had 1230 available. Walked around the mall for a bit and went back at 1230 and was helped out immediately upon arriving. Got my iPhone 12 pro in no time. Great service 👍
The employee who helped me was amazing helped me save some money too
Had a problem with my product. They tell me to call support. I call support and they say there is nothing they can do about it, the people at the store have to fix the problem. I tell the people at the store that. They tell me they cant solve my problem and to call support again. ???
Dont go there
Very stupid service ever ive got not going there anymore and pls dont go there their service is so bad
The Apple store has always offered good service, and they continue to do so even during a pandemic. I recently had to go to pick up a phone that I dropped off for repair before the shutdown. I was impressed with the screening and safety measures they were doing. They have a repair pick up station outside the store, which is where my son and I were directed after checking in with their security guard. The guard also took our temperatures after asking for permission. They are limiting how many people can be in the store at once, and they had another station set up outside the store for people who know what they want and just need to pay for it. I was impressed with the whole experience.
The speaker on my mac laptop broke (hardware issue). Apples website wouldnt let me contact the store directly so I spent two hours on and off the phone making sure it wasnt a software issue. After which, I was told that the this store is not making any repair appointments because in a week a new iPhone is coming out and Grand Rapids does not have the option for mail in repairs (too small of a city?) and that I could drive to Lansing if I want to even start working on getting my computer repaired. Not only could they not make an appointment any time next week but are unwilling to schedule any future appointments. They recommend calling back in a week to see if anything opens up (but dont call the store directly).
Went to the mall to get my watch fixed because all of the sudden it won’t stay charged. Looked online and it said I didn’t need an appointment. But when I got there they said I did need an appointment starting yesterday. My Apple care is up today so I called Apple and they said I will have to pay to get it fixed. We all know the batteries in Apple products go bad after a couple years. Since they are not willing to help me at all, I will think long and hard before buying another Apple product. Their customer service has gone down hill. I am highly disappointed. They could have just fixed my watch at the store especially since they new this was my last day of Apple care.
Showed up with a dead iPhone I had wrecked the night before. Without directions it was a hassle to find this place. Once I found it the big bad security guard told me they werent taking people without an appointment, so I said id like to schedule one. easy right? no! he says they can only be done by phone call and seeing as I have a dead phone and Ive come alone I said that would be a problem. Big bad security guard says have a family member or friend do it. Anyone see a problem here? Usually love apples environment and employees but having a security guard handle your affairs is very un APPLE-Like.
Many cool stores theres something there for everyone
Very nice mall always clean people are friendly its wider than Rivertiwn mall were not so friendly.
They have all different kinds of phones 📱
One of Michigans finest Id say!
This place literally sabotaged my MacBook air. After bringing it in with a charging issue, they called me the following day to inform me that my MacBook air’s logic board and display needed replacement for “$923.17.” I came to pick up my macbook air, and sure enough, my display was now not working and the macbook wouldn’t power on at all. It wouldn’t even show the flashing battery signal on the display notifying it needs to be charged. Less than 24 hours prior, these issues were nonexistent. They broke my macbook air far beyond the condition of when I had originally taken it in there, all so they could recommend I purchase a new one. Stay far away. I have already filed complaints with corporate and will pursue all actions necessary to stop this criminal behavior. Extremely disappointed
I bought an iPad Pro from the Apple store and when I brought it home to open it there was a crack on the screen. I went to exchange it and they weren’t very helpful and told me to call Apple support. Called Apple support and said I had to deal with it in store. Long story short, Robert helped me figure everything out and was super nice. Thank you!
I walked right in and was kindly greeted. This was already a great start to customer service. Almost instantly, I was directed to the technician for the Boot Loop issue with the iPhone 6s. The technician was very helpful and patient as we went through the process of getting a free trade-in with warranty. Very energetic and engaging, which helped the process go even quicker. They even called my service provider to get the phone set up for me, so that I wouldnt have to wait until the next day to set up the phone at a store location. I was very thankful for that, but unfortunately, we were not able to set up the phone at that specific time.Going against some of the 1 star reviews, there are employees specifically for certain fields of service in the store. The employee(s) seen standing around may not have been the worker that could specifically assist you in your category. Yes, getting help does take time but thats just part of dealing with this type of business.Overall, great customer service and patience from the employees. I went in with a single task and walked out with that single task completed.
I was very impressed with how Apple and the Woodland Mall was handling the covid-19 procedures. Both parties were very diligent with whom they allowed in store and how many they allowed in store at a time. For myself since I was picking up an online order, I didnt even have to go in store, just check in outside the store and they brought the product to me. Great service, and great preparedness by Woodland Mall.
Apple has horrible customer service... you can buy new products and have them delivered from the store two hours later. But you buy AppleCare and have a faulty battery that according to Apple themselves is only at 15% lifespan and the only option is to go without your only laptop for over a week.
Worse service ever. They sent a defective iphone and they couldnt do anything even though it was on them sending a defective iphone.
11pro bought last year. Got screen dark on one side of screen and bad feedback when making call. Went 3times to store to get fix, they keep sending back to home sayin no any issues in phone. Have apple care too. Still they can’t do nothing. Made one more appointment next week. I’m gonna drop at store, I’m not gonna pick up phone until fix. Upset for poor service. Sorry to say this is what it is.
Terrible service. Discriminated against me based on my medical intolerance. Refusing service even though our unlawful MI order states that masks are required if you are medically able to wear them. You all are basically communists who outsource all of your production to China.
They are open back up now.but this the only one in West Michigan.
I didn’t get the voicemail saying my phone was repaired and was late to pick it up so Apple store told me they sent the phone to their factory and it was scrapped for parts.Thing is twice now since my phone was “scraped” after they “completely wiped” all my personal information that same iphone has attempted to log into my Apple account using my ID. First in India and then at 5:42am today from Nanjing.Don’t trust them with your phone if you value your privacy!
We live 2 hours away so we couldnt go for tech support, luckily, they stayed on the phone with us for almost 2 hours! Trying to help get hubbys phone to work. It works now, and were so thankful for theyre help!
Quick return and online order pickup. Friendly service.
There is no appointment available for purchase of an IPhone. You Check in and 30 minutes later you finally have your phone that you want to set up. Imagine an amputee with a prosthetic as well as being a diabetic. Did even one of the 20 plus representatives recognize that their customer may need a seat? Business’s is obviously too good. But be mindful of those with special needs. You totally failed with that.
Always busy so no one goes there any more.
Atrocious customer service. Everyone here has no idea what theyre doing and is completely useless.
Great products, but do not expect a warm greeting or interactive purchase experience. Maybe I had heard so much I expected a better experience, but I was wrong. We walked in and said we wanted to buy a new phone. We were told to stand at one table. Another employee said if you walk around you could loose your space. So after 15 minutes of waiting, we were greeted again, but only to tell us that someone else would need to help us, but dont worry the phone you want is reserved, and please dont walk around or we may not be able to find you. Anyway 10 minutes later someone else was helping us, but helping a couple other people also. I would think spending $800 would get you a few minutes of undivded attention, but that is simply not the case. They run you through as fast as possible. If we were allowed to walk around we would have bought accessories also, but we went to another store for those. Also they do not offer seats for disabled people, this is the most concerning. Seems Apple only cares about revenue, not people.
Usually a very busy store but happy how they have handled the pandemic. Usually long waits but its for the best. Seemed to be out of stock on a few items, a little annoying I have to come back but shop local!
Poor customer service due to COVID they said. Told us we would be able to receive an overnight phone replacement under Apple Care and referenced us to apple.com or 1-800. When speaking to the team they told us three day delivery at best. No I am out of a working phone for a week and our company if BYOD and this is extremely costly to me and my company. There was no one in the store and it was appointment only yet appointments were a week out.
Completely useless. Found all lost iPhone. Waps told they might be able to help find owner. Got bounced around multiple employees before being told they could not help without anyone making any attempt to help. If you have an iPhone do not lose it the apple store does not care!
Apple is a money hungry, low quality, overpriced experience that I would never recommend in my entire life. Samsung is affordable, has better/the same exact specs for half the price. Dont go Apple. You will regret it.
The most ridiculous most and efficient most unfriendly store Ive ever been too will never buy an Apple product in my life
Had to repair my iPhone 7 here a while ago; they forgot to put 2 screws back in where the charger is located. Couldn’t give me a discount for doing the job unprofessionally after I paid around $500- $600 for a new screen. I am a long time iPhone user. They should worry more on the customer side when you’re paying top dollar for the product to be fixed correctly. Thank god my iPhone XS hasn’t broken yet or i would go bankrupt.
Apple always has high quality service and this location is no exception. Purchased an ipad and the staff member that was helping was very knowledgeable. It was funny though when I tried to checkout apple pay with my apple card did not work, I ended up having to use the metal card.
The store is in a good location and has lots to offer but with that said, make sure you have plenty of time to get what you need. I have been to this location a few times and they always have lots of workers but most are not helping and will make you wait for nothing. If you get an appointment things will go a bit faster but still expect to wait when you get there. Again get used to seeing workers standing around and not helping customers like they should. To say the least I would go to the Ann Arbor location before coming back to this location again.
Great products of course... Apple. But even with a room full of employees on staff, its hard to get someones attention. However, once you do, theyre awesome. Attentive, friendly, knowledgable, and patient. Perhaps I need a little more of that patience...
Excellent customer service
Wife bought me the Air Pod Pros for Christmas, guy at Apple said how great they are...sound and buttons are good, made no mention of them not staying in your ear! My older ones will stay in on a roller coaster, and the new pros wiggle out when walking, of course if you wear them once you can’t return them. Rip off!!! 300$ bucks for junk.
I will be ditching all Apple products. No Parler = no Apple. Bye bye Apple. You are cancelled.
Good place. Great people. Too bad the business model is still a scam
Automated phone message said the store was closed until further notice.
It is probably one of the worst customer service I had everI would strongly advice trying not to visit this branch
Went in for a battery replacement for iPhone 6S about a week ago, and everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful. Even though the place was packed, had someone working with me quickly, and was able to get the replacement process started right away. I was impressed with the entire experience, even when the phone was brought to me on completion, was with smiles and helpful information. I left there feeling good, overall an unexpected great experience.
Is there any better customer service on the planet than one receives at an Apple store? Cody did not disappoint, resolving our forgotten password issue with kindness, a smile and with super speed. The cost? A handshake and thanks. Amazing! ❤️
I was there earlier today & Daniel helped me out! He did a phenomenal job on handling my problem with my phone & He knew what he was doing. Very nice also professional.
Not too happy. I drove to see a person/ customer service and all they said was we will call you for technical support. If I had known I wasnt going to be able to see a person to help with my problem I could have saved myself gas money and less hassle. I had missed their call and have not been able to get the help I needed. Really disappointed with apple services..
