Great customer service! Do not go to a non corporate store if you need any kind of help customer service wise! Verizon is a terrible company for customer service so when you find good customers service take advantage! The lady walked us through it even on the phone she was a great help! Thank God!

Came in last night wasted 40 minutes because their systems were messed up came in today the moment they opened waited an hour before I was seen all to find out that the deal I could have gotten last night was no longer being offered today. I was here last night for that deal now they want $300 more for the same exact thing and they wasted an entire hour of my time today as well as 40 minutes yesterday.

I want to amend my last review to add that I noticed another elderly lady being helped with great kindness by one of workers. I was impressed by his patience and care. While I was there I heard that the store was short on workers that day and I could see the stress level was up on the remaining workers. It was during a Covid partial shutdown so I hope things will get back to normal soon. I think the workers were trying their best during a very stressful time. I went to the store after I checked on Google that is was open.I did not dig down into the web page to read that they preferred appointments. Next time I will call the store first to find out the Covid rules.

Very rude greeter. My company pays for my phone and I ordered a new phone. I want to make sure I am home to sign for it. I received an email with the order number. I can’t access the tracking info because you need to login to your account to view it. I don’t have access to the company account. I explained this to the greeter and had my order number ready for him to check on his tablet. He rudely told me I just had to login to my account. I explained earlier that I couldn’t. He then told me I would have to get in line and wait 90 mins. He couldn’t take 2 seconds to look up the order number. This isn’t the first time I’ve had horrible customer service at this location. A couple of years ago I came in to replace my mother’s phone and the sales person was very condescending and aggressive. He kept pushing for me to purchase additional accessories I said I didn’t want.

I made an appointment to add a new line to my existing plan and port a number to it. The only reason I had to go into the store was to get a SIM card. The system for checking in is very clunky. I waited for over 20 minutes. The agent was very helpful and I got my business finished, but make sure you have an appointment and prepare to wait.

Spent all day trying to switchover my work phone from an old S-8 to a newly purchased A71 5G. Data and aps all transferred just fine but the thing will not activate. I tried two different customer service lines and all I got were automated responses telling me that my phone is already activated or that their are no recent orders for the given phone number. I thought Id try a physical store for answers but the local number sent me right into the same labyrinth of an automated menu with the same two responses. Im not that upset about the phone not activating, that sort of thing happens, but I am absolutely livid about how hard it is to just talk to an actual customer service rep to get the problem sorted.

The system is a mess. 2 trips to buy the phone. Ben was helpful but told me to go to Woodland to pick up the phone. They could not release the order when I got there. They said it takes up to 3 days to release the paperwork. Well that was on Dec 21 and it is now the 28th and the store is “temporarily” closed. Ben gave ne his phone number to contact if I needed help and he has never returned the phone call. I realize it is a Pandemic but there has to be a better system than this. I have someone “on line” trying to help me but they can not cancel l the order and ship to me directly. Meanwhile, I keep getting emails that I am going to lose the discount if I do not turn in my current phone and I am being billed for the new phone. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Went in to upgrade my phone, yes I had to wait but I believe that is due to Covid restrictions, being Christmas holiday time and also because they take time to help you get what you need. Peter and Shavey both took time to genuinely help me get what is best for me and help me understand how things work. Very Pleased with the Awesome customer service I received. Thank You!

Be prepared to wait. You would think they would staff more people to help with how they operate the store. Accessories are pretty expensive so shop around. There isnt any comfortable seating in the store so you pretty much stand around waiting to be helped. The seats they do have are just a cushioned bench with no back support.If they could add some comfortable seats the wait wouldnt be as uncomfortable. having more people on the floor would be nice too. Never had bad service there, just have to wait so long.

I recently added 2 lines to our existing account which included trade ins of our phones. I ordered the phones online and picked them up 30 minutes later at this location. I waited less than 10 minutes for the phones and the process took less than 2 minutes to complete.I returned to the store a week later to trade in one of the phones. I waited 10 minutes is all. The agent was very professional and completed the trade in process in a matter of minutes painlessly. I was emailed a receipt for the trade in while I was in the store. I went home and logged in and all the accounting already appeared on our account. Much easier process than I anticipated.

Yesterday I visited the store situated at 1979 East Beltline Avenue 49525 to discuss moving my five-lines to Verizon and purchasing one or two phones.My discussion with this salesman ended very quickly after his condescending and arrogant greeting. He rolled with the quick ending and just moved on as if nothing happened.I will not be back to this store and I will not consider returning to Verizon as my service provider ever again. ~My previous Verizon service wasn’t good enough for me to come back to Verizon and pay for this guy’s employment.Verizon may want to consider informing their sales team that they are not working a garage sale.

I brought in an unlocked device and asked to do a compatibility check with the Verizon network. Being an Xfinity Mobile (Verizon network) device I was confident it should work, but wanted to verify as I was attempting to sell the device to a gentleman who was with me. I was given a flat no by the Verizon store employee and offered no other explanation other than the website said it wouldnt work. This caused my sale to fall through.Not accepting the answer, I called Verizon Customer Support when I got home. Within 10 minutes the agent had walked me through some checks of the device, and after inserting my own Verizon SIM card, discovered the device was indeed compatible and working on the network.Such a simple check, yet the agent on the phone was willing to go one step further than the Verizon store employee standing right in front of me.

I have been to this location multiple times and never have I had good service but, today took the cake! I waited in line for 15 minutes before someone ever acknowledged my presence! I was there to purchase a phone the gentlemen was condescending from the beginning Im confused as to why it takes five minutes to look up a price of a phone. When I was told the price I informed him that I could buy the same phone on Amazon for $600 less! He quickly said well I would do that then...Seriously $600 difference, Im here in your store currently amd pay a monthly fee knowing I was ripped off the first time I got my phone now you have zero desire to even work with me and act as if Im rude for not wanting to throw $600 away. Spent 1.5 hours just to buy a phone, was told there was discounts much larger than there actually turned out to be, left with out phone set up and working, took 3 trips back to the store and countless calls with the tech help to get it set up. 2 months later still not 100%. The store terrible and Verizon Corp service not the best. They are the very $$$ though. I would hope that you would get better service for the price. Not true in this case.

Really kind of concerned about a couple of things at this store and these concerns are the reasons I will not be returning here.I came in to this store because I was directed here by customer service at their corporate offices to get new SIM cards as mine were at end of life. When I arrived, I waited around at the counter without being greeted or assisted for 5-10 minutes. When I finally was greeted, I was put on a wait list for which I didn’t wait too long.When the Verizon associate got over to me, he started asking what he could help be with but stopped mid sentence to help two other people. When he finally got to helping me, he switched out the SIM cards with no issues but before he set my phone down, I asked for my old SIM cards back. Instead of just handing them to me, he placed them in his pocket with countless other SIMS.SIM cards hold a vast amount of personal data that can include contacts, texts, passwords and banking information. There is NO reason he should have put them in his pocket. When I reiterated that I wanted my cards back, he pulled out a *handful* of SIMS and arbitrarily picked two out to give me, telling me they were mine. How could he have possibly known those two specifically were mine?Why did he take any of those SIMS, including mine in the first place? Why isn’t he educating customers on the fragile and delicate nature of the data that he is collecting in his pocket? If Verizon is destroying these SIMS to protect customer data, who is ensuring that these tiny cards are completely accounted for and not going home with an associate?TL;DR: You will generally wait. The associates here are rude, lazy and they take your SIM cards. Customers beware and take your old cards home to destroy yourself!

These guys are hit and miss with me. The last time we went we met this really fun girl who helped my wife pick out a phone (my wife cant pick out a phone to save her life). She was super helpful and we left feeling valued and taken care of. Then the time before that we went in to get a tablet (on a Saturday), they didnt have the one we were looking for and the guy just started up the process to have one shipped to arrive the following Tuesday. Now he might have been trying to be proactive, but it felt more like he was worried about a commission. There was another Verizon 20 minutes away that had what I was looking for and I was pretty clear I wanted it this weekend.

Horrible experience. On top of waiting 3 hours to be helped. They also gave me the wrong iPhone. Specifically told the associate Justin I wanted the iPhone 11 Pro Max for her and the regular size for me. The gentleman sold me the wrong iPhone, and because the box was opened requested me to pay a 50$ re-stocking fee because he provided me with the incorrect phone. Not only that, he also lied to his manager saying he told us about the restocking fee, which was never mentioned. After telling the manager what had happened the manager said there was nothing that could be done and that his associate did not provide me with the wrong phone. That if I was to not take the phone, they would mail it to my house. Don’t go here unless you want to be ripped off

My husband and I went in to this location to have our phones upgraded. We have always gone here and have had zero issues, always get in and out pretty quickly. However we went in the other day and had the worst customer service experience ever from Ben. We told him we wanted to pay off my husbands lease and then upgrade both of our phones. He was very helpful at first until he came back and told us it was going to cost us almost $500 and kept pressuring us to buy a phone case, screen protector and car charger. Told us that it was all included and we should pick out our cases. When I questioned why it was so expensive he had no response. We told him we did not want anything except the phones and he insisted on knowing more about us and what we were planning on purchasing to protect our phones. This went on for about 15 minutes or so to the point where we walked out of the store without purchasing anything because we were so frustrated. We left and went to another location and purchased our phones there and paid only $200. Like I said absolute worst customer service Ive ever received. If it were possible I would give zero stars for how horrible our experience was.

(Went with the LG G4) No hard sell tactics or pressuring. Was a very laid-back experience and he stayed with me through the whole process, even helped install the screen protector and case. The phone my wife wanted was not in stock for over a month. After being put off both in phone and in person by store reps, I finally discovered they had stock again. I went in to start the upgrade process for her only to find that her phone was worth half what they were offering. Im about done with V, and I certainly will not return to this location.PS Amazon will give me $187 -$230 for her current phone with no hassles.

If you want terrible Verizon experience, be sure to go here. There are many problems with the store, and the employees working there.First off, I went in the store looking to buy a new phone. I had already picked out the one I wanted, but the sales associate pushed me to get a different one that was more expensive. The sales representatives are pushy, and overall unprofessional. They use many different tactics to try and get you to buy more than what you need.When I got to the store, I waited for over 15 minutes for someone to come and say anything to me. I was then immedietly put on a waiting list, where I then stood for another 30 minutes!! Absolutely disrespectful.The phone I purchased here broke in 3 days, and I had to go back 3 more times to even get the problem fixed. I hope they dont take any sort of pride in their customer service, because its the worst Ive witnessed.These Verizon employees were trained to scheme and get you to buy the most possible. They make sure you walk out, with way more than you actually need, and claim that its all free, but really its just raising your phone bill. We didnt realize from the Verizon site that by scheduling an in-store pick-up, we were choosing to bypass customer service in favor of the do-it-yourself approach. We thought it was more like making an appointment to speed up the process. Once the clerks saw that we still were hoping for assistance, they cheerfully gave it anyway, though there was probably no commission in it for them! We bought cases and will return for our future needs. They were very knowledgeable and kind.

Called the store to find out the schedule of a specific associate to set up an appointment to discuss a billing issue. The first associate gave me the next few working days for the associate I wanted to speak to. The next day I called back to set up an appointment on one of the days provided and was told by a second associate that the specific associate does not work that day. I asked the second associate to check the schedule so I could set up an appointment. I set up an appointment for a specific time when the associate would be there. Verizon then sends a reminder email two days before the appointment with the wrong time. I had to call back to tell them the time of the appointment reminder that they sent was wrong and to set the time back to the original time scheduled. Upon arrival on the appointment day and time, was informed that the associate was sick and we would have to wait behind the 4 people ahead of us. Verizon should have bumped us to the front since we had an appointment - what is the point of making an appointment if you just have to wait. We ended up waiting 45 minutes past our appointment time to discuss our billing issue. Disappointed in the customer service at this location.

Service was fast. However sales rep really pushed to sell phone case bundle that I was not interested in. And after I got home I realized that the sales rep added Total Mobile Protection to my plan without my permission or even asking if I wanted it. This insurance plan is 1/2 the monthly price of the phone. I had to contact Verizon corporate and have them remove it. This is not the first time that the reps have been dishonest & it is really frustrating! Buyers beware & check your receipts & bills for the add on’s that the sales people sneak in.

I had such a positive experience!! The man that helped us was positive and friendly, listened to what I had to say. I had a few complicated requests and he didnt seem bothered and even went above and beyond for some of it! Didnt mind waiting a bit, I knew they were busy. Finally got a phone (droid turbo), and Ive had it for two weeks and three days until the screen finally went black and started spotting. Took it to the store and even though they had one at the store, they said they could not swap at the store. I can barely use the phone due to not being able to see past the spots, and they said they would just have to mail me one. How awful is it that I have to wait for a phone to come in the mail when their product fails, but if I was a new customer I would have walked out of there with a new phone? This proves that as long as they have you locked in some kind of contract, they could care less about helping you. I expressed that I didnt want to have to send the faulty phone back through mail because last time I did three years ago, they just lost it and charged me for the phone! I even had a tracking number and confirmation that a guy named Kevin signed for it and they still charged me for it because they couldnt find it in their warehouse! Of course, they said no to me asking to return it here due to the prior situation. Why do we keep getting suckered into paying more to these people for their service when their service is selling you a phone? Because after the sale, they could care less about you or your problems.

I highly recommend making an appointment thru the My Verizon app. I had an appointment and I still waited 30 minutes past my time. However, my appointment bumped me to the front of the line. The crowd seems to ebb and flow. The store is mostly for sales now. Anyone wanting tech service is forced to calling the tech line for assistance.

When I opted to activate a new line (as I was told they would need to do to sell me the phone), I was told they were refusing to sell it to me due to a promo being ran by my current carrier and the fact that they wouldnt make money off of the sale. Horrible service. I just got a new phone there and wasnt explained that I would be charged for the first month at time of purchasing the phone, I was showed next to nothing about the phone, everything I was showed I had to inquire about. The associate refused to activate my phone and decided instead to give me a print off and told me to follow the instructions. Then he doesnt even give me a receipt. I had to go back in for a receipt, and then he made me wait for almost 5 minutes. He also just assumed I wanted insurance on my new phone, he never asked me. I left this location with a non-working phone to replace a lost one. I paid for the new phone at the store. It was not properly activated in the store and when I called Verizon customer service I was told it was not properly activated. I tried back and forth with Verizon service and was not able to get the phone activated. When I called back the store I was told they sell phones and do not service them. The store manager, LJ was not willing to help me by phone or do anything to fix my phone. I am happy to remove this post if I can get some help. It has been four days since I left with the phone that was supposed to be activated.

Had a great experience in the Verizon store at Knapps corner. Went in there about 2 weeks ago to update to the new iphone and got help from an awesome guy named Aaron.. I drove to this store because I had to wait 45+ minutes at the 3850 Alpine Ave NW Comstock Park store in order to get help. After 3 times going to that store and having to wait 45+ minutes for help, I decided to try this location that took me 10 min extra drive time to get to thinking that this would be better than sitting in the other store watching the paint dry.The wait time for this store was 23 min 44 sec. I timed it just to see if they could beat the 45min+ of the other store and see if driving the 10 extra minutes was worth the gas and time. Good news was I saved about 25+ minutes of time but the wait was still way to long in my opinion. I understand that at sometimes these stores can get busy but I can easily see that this is an issue across the Verizon stores and/or their process as a whole.The crazy thing is all I wanted was to buy a USB to PC interface cable which the sales rep told me should have come with the phone I just bought. I quickly realized that the Sales Associate at the other store had taken it out of the box when setting up my new phone and forgot to put in back in the box when I bought it. What blew me away is when the sales associate told me one comes with the phone I asked him if I could get the one that was suppose to be in the box. The sales associate at this store told me that I should pay attention and check the bag next time and he could not just give me one. He was right of course but they should do their jobs and make sure to put everything back in the box a new phone comes in. I was told that I would have to go back to the store where I got it from and ask them for a replacement. I ended up driving over to Best Buy and bought one for $8.My suggestion is to not go to a Verizon Store if you want good fast customer service. I have never used Verizon as a Wireless service before so I will more than likely eat the bullet and just return the phone. I do not need the hassle of dealing with terrible customer support.

Normally I wouldnt care about this as I am a customer of AT&T, and have been for 8 years. BUT my parents are Verizon customers and they finally decided to upgrade their phones. First off, right inside the door, they dont have a greeter. There are people standing everywhere and no one to ask what we needed help with, get us checked in, NOTHING. After a few minutes (and more people coming in) a girl finally came up and checked my parents in. Mind you, we walked in at 2:30pm on a Friday and didnt walk out until 4:30pm. With that being said, lets continue. I really didnt keep track as my parents asked questions to pass the time but I am pretty sure we waited 35-45 minutes (we were told there were 7 ahead of us). As we waited we discussed plans, options, and phones they wanted, and looked at available accessories.Finally a guy comes up and asks how he can help. My dad informs him that they are wanting to upgrade to the iPhone 6 & 6+. They begin by looking at the current plan set up, and then quickly went into talking about monthly plans. Well, the guy apparently thinks that everyone knows everything about every plan that Verizon has to offer because he confused my dad on more than one occasion. The guy talked fast and explained the bare minimum. I did pay attention and would chime in on what I felt was best for them, and the guy decided that he didnt like my answers and argued why he was right and I was wrong.After going back and forth my parents made their final decisions and he went to the back to retrieve their phones. He returned a few moments later and told them the color options that he had in stock. They were acceptable to my parents so they proceeded. I feel like this process should have taken 10-15 minutes tops, but instead it dragged on for well over 30 minutes...maybe even close to 40+ minutes (I really should have timed him). Now I get that my dad had to create an apple ID, and the guy clearly saw that he could push any and all accessories on them and theyd buy...but really dude?!Once the process was over and a few basic questions were answered we were on our way. Again, about 2 hours later! The staff seemed really terrible and only care about making money not making customers happy...but then again, the girl who is supposed to greet people and check them in is too busy playing around in the back and not even paying attention to what is going on that I dont see how they do make money. Overall I am very under-impressed with the customer service at Verizon Wireless...hopefully all of their stores arent run like this one.

I have a phone line through Verizon. Verizon as a corporation has great service for their phones. This store does not take appointments. Theyre rude and short and Kurt. They do not respect your time.

Worst customer service ever. Go in to pick up phone ordered online and follow instructions provided in email from Verizon to bring in photo id and credit card if payment in required. Since I paid for it online no credit card should be needed. When my wife gets there they indicate she needs the credit card used for the payment to pick up the phone even though she is authorized on the account and the phone is for her number....Absolutely useless store!

Had the WORST experience at this Verizon store. My dad ordered a new phone offline for me to be picked up in the store. Once I got there, they told me my dad needed to be there in order to get the phone. My dad drove 2 hours to the Beltline store and we STILL couldnt get the phone and got talked down to when asked to be compensated in some way. By far the WORST customer service I and my dad have ever received. It was so bad that my dad is considering switching to a different network.. Do not go into this store if you dont need to!!
