I was very thankful for Iesha for all her help. I had bought the wrong wiper blades for my truck. She helped me get the right ones then came out and helped put them on.
One of my headlights had recently been changed but never cut on and for a few weeks I was thinking it was a wire or fuse issue. I went in the store thinking to just buy a fuse and test it out. But this lady Tracy came out to my car and moved my headlight around and it popped right on ! She was nice and informative, saved me so much money and worrying thank you so much ☺️
Staff at the Grand Rapids location were great. Been OTR for a few weeks and returned home to a leaking radiator. They delivered a new one to our shop and was able to salvage my off time fairly quickly. Dont usually run in to such friendly people at parts stores so it was a rare treat to do so this time.
I really love the one on 28th ST. Well I guess I should clearify that, I appreciate some of the staff and the work they do and how they tend to us customers. I can honestly say if your there on the right day and the right staff is working you will receive GREAT service,they dont make you stand there and wait while their on the phone,they help you with everything no matter what it is (putting a battery in,service check, carrying heavy parts to your car etc..) with NO complaints or rolling of the eyes.Plus you have some of the employees who really know about automobiles/Mechanics. Now there is some of there staff that sits on there personal phones while customers are there or they want to give attitudes to customers/other staff (in front of customers), and then theres some staff that will make you stand at the counter while they answer the phone and carry on a conversation.UNACCEPTABLE.. PRAISE TO THOSE THAT ARE DOING THEIR JOB,WELL DONE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

The store was quite busy when I arrived. It took a while to get my alternator tested and then purchase a new one. My young salesman struggled with the testing equipment and locating the part but with the help of his superiors he was able to supply me with what I needed. I hope he wont be discouraged and stays with it. Also I hope custimers will be patient with these new employees who are learning a new craft. We were all there once upon a time.
Came from Kalamazoo for a part for a van. They even held it aside until I was able to purchase.
This location is closest to my work. It’s never easy here. The employees are slow and confused. It’s ridiculous. I will go out of my way from now on.

This place is awesome. Most of the employees were incredibly helpful. Even helping me change my alternator on their lunch break! Scott was very rude and not helpful in the least. The younger kids were willing to take the time to help me. Scott just wanted me in and out. A product of his generation I guess.

I have specific car maintenance items I purchase there and have never been disappointed. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and dont make me feel stupid on things that are new to me. Great place.

Every time I visit auto zone I always end up being more knowledgeable than the so called Professionals who work here. He didnt even know how to convert fractions! The young man who tried to help me was polite but the tone in his voice was very bored and unenthusiastic. I am never shopping at AutoZone again.

The store is probably great, theres a customer service rep that has a bad attitude. He need customer service training. He was not helpful at all. I had to ask for a bundle to save money. Instead of him saying Since youre purchasing both you can save money by purchasing it in a bundle I said online I can get it cheaper in a bundled. He said you can here too you want it that way? I was shocked he didnt offer it to begin with. Also the way he said it like I would rather not have the discount. Had I not asked he would not have offered. I also asked for another item he pointed down the isle. When I told him I couldnt find it he just said it was down there. He didnt look to help me out, or check in the system. Nothing.
Staff is always helpful and friendly. They help us ladies out when we cant quite do the small things for ourselves and NEVER make us feel foolish or useless.
Hit or miss. Overall, staff is friendly but a few times I had a bad experience. Its cold, Im going inside! during the free battery testing. A great service, but I felt bad for the employee because he was cold and I asked him a few questions about the battery test. Another time was being told I could get Autozone rewards for spending $20 or more. Staff made a mistake, didnt want to correct it and told me to call support to fix it.

The people here are always helpful. They do battery diagnostic tests here for free. Nice to go here when I need small things for my car, they make sure I have what I need. They have an expansive collection of the manuals and part breakdowns for basically every make of vehicle.
Basically the Walmart automotive section. If your lucky someone will actually know something about cars. Go in there already thinking you know what you need and just get it and if your wrong then just order online if it was the wrong thing.

Shift leader was a absolutely terrible, wasnt kind or helping in any way and just very rude. Come to find out he followed us outside immediately to go smoke a cigarette. Horrible service. Will not be coming to this location again. Id rather drive ten miles to the next one.

Came in for a battery since mine was giving me trouble. The manager who was helping me offered to change it for me so I wouldnt have to come back with the old one. He wasnt able to do so due to the bolts being almost stripped, but he was very kind and helpful and set me up with everything to get it done at home. He even gave me a jump since my car didnt want to start. Thank you so much!

I was able to call AutoZone and ask for part availability before driving out there to ensure they had what I needed. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. AutoZone offers a variety of vehicle parts and accessories, in addition to tools, gloves, paint, and electronic odds and ends. If they dont have the part you need, they can order it in at no extra charge and it will be there the in a few days at the most.Bonus: Most AutoZones have a small phone accessories aisle, in this aisle I found a pair of wireless earbuds in the same style as Apple Air Buds for $30. As far as sound quality and overall functionality, these are definitely worth the price. The only downside being they arent very comfortable for long term use.
Terrible service, card readers are messed up and I had to pay cash and somehow it still took 40 out of my bank. We will see if and when I get the money refunded. Just go to a different auto zone if you need help
My go-to Auto zone location was closed due to power outage 12/1/19. I went to a different location for windshield wipers. The young guy I purchased from put them on for me.One of them fell off that evening on the way down my street. I asked someone at work to get it on correctly; only to find the other was not on all the way either.Ive NEVER had an Auto Zone employee not able to put wiper blades on correctly.Wont be back to the 28th se location. The blades are $30.00 each!! Wondering how they would have handled this if Id have lost one or both on the highway.
I went in for a light bulb for my brake light in my car. One of the guys that helped me came out to the car with me to help me put the bulb in. It was busy inside, so I was going to try to do it myself, but he offered despite of that. Great customer service experience.

I still cant get over it. When you buy parts here, many things they put on for you for free. No way. Who does that? AutoZone thats who! No, theyre not going to put on new brakes or put in a new motor. LOL unless I was dreaming they put on a new headlight for me and other times small parts here and there. You wont believe it all you have to do is ask.
I am not a car guy. I came in with a old battery from my daughters car. Chaz helped me, verified that I had the right battery and was extremely helpful. I also bought a used Jeep Commander, that the engine light on. Came out, looked the vehicle over and assured me we had a good truck! Ran the test and everything came back clear. I know there will be issues with vehicles, but if I need a part or something checked, I’ll head back to Auto Zone and see Chaz. Nice work Chaz! Great service!
My daughter has an older car with numerous problems. One very serious problem, stalling and failing to idle properly. I went to the Auto Zone on 28th street to have the codes read. Some problems came back that needed correcting. However, none that seemed to address the rough idle problem. The young woman manager whose name I have forgotten unfortunately had a similar problem with her car. She suggested replacing the Throttle Positioning Sensor which controls idle and fuel consumption. Well, after replacing this and spark plug wires, the main problems with this car were fixed. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You made a difficult diagnosis so much easier. I would highly recommend this store for its friendly helpful staff.
I own a 2006 Saab 93 2.0T and I needed a new brake caliper for my car. I requested that they had the part delivered here from Livonia on a Saturday (because it was the only part I could find that would be delivered before the week started). and they said they would have by the next morning. Sunday comes and I come to their store. I brought in the piston I needed replaced for the core charge and they didn’t tell me that the part I ordered had a bracket too. So I drove 20 minutes home to get my old bracket, 20 minutes back for the core charge. Not a big deal, right? Well, I come back and I’m holding the new part in my hands and the inside of the piston does not match the piston on the old part (there’s a ridge inside where the brake pad’s spring belongs). I figured it’s fine since I’m sick of hunting for parts, and I try to purchase it. The man at the desk told me that his computer couldn’t process the part and that I’d have to wait a few hours before they MIGHT have it fixed. I’m writing this very angry and disappointed in the parking lot. Most frustrating car part searching I’ve ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and don’t ever come to this Autozone. Terrible.

He wouldnt come out to my car and see anything just maybe if you check on YouTube like come on! How do you get paid to tell customers something like that? Im coming to your business with concerns. Never returning and will not promote anyone else going here either.

Went there to get my battery changed on my car. They were super helpful and went outside in single digit temperature to install it for me. I had previously looked on Walmart at batteries. they were the same price as autozone, but they do not offer installation. I am very pleased!!!

Dont go to this one. The vast majority of the employees dont know a thing or two about car talk. If you want to hit up an autozone, go out to Wayland or Hastings. Their employees are well educated in the lingo. These guys here though, slow, misinformed and not well trained on their computers. Hell, I heard the representive tell an employee that DEXCOOL was RED COOLANT. These clowns.

This particular store failed to follow though with an order I place causing a full day delay in getting my car on the road. The employees seemed confused and not very knowledgeable. Hopefully this was a one time screw up. We will see....

I found the sales clerk to be less than enthusiastic. She never smiled. She stared blankly when I was trying to explain what I wanted. She scrolled through the screen so fast that I could not tell what she was talking about or even if she knew what she was talking about. I persevered and found the light I needed however I think her behavior was rude, disrespectful and unacceptable for a sales clerk.
Costumer service was not professional. When asked questions, answers were given in rude and senseless matter. Not trained properly, staff member could not do simple trancations. And when asked to speak to manager employee couldnt seek manager because was careless and not driven.
Had the parts we needed, very friendly staff.

I honestly do not know how this store competes with OReilly across the road. Their CS is ridiculous. Any random visit, you stand around -very patiently- for as long as 30 minutes before anyone assists you. Sorry, but a 20-30 wait time is ridiculous. And if you run into a simple issue, such as a core refund, or product inquiry - a manager will usually make the worker wait a bit before assisting, further inconveniencing you, the customer.
