My husband’s car needed repair from bumper accident and they repaired it in two weeks time. They also sprayed his left passenger car door which was a different color for free. Thank you so much for the great service.
Very disappointed. Will be contacting them and my insurance company.Needed some box repair on my truck from an accident. They did an excellent job of repairing the one side. The other side and bumper had noticeable damage that was never touched. There is a hose on the underside of bed that is only connected on one end, they left wires for my backup and box camera just hanging (zip ties are now holding them up. My taillights were not hooked up.
Brought my car into here after getting in an accident. Cant trust their automatic text system as apparently it is not accurate for when the car will be completed. When I called the shop about the confusion no one took responsibility or offered an apology. Picked up my car when it was finished and the windshield fluid pump that they replaced was not functioning properly. Ive now left two voicemails over the course of several days with no response. Staff has trouble with personal responsibility, professionalism, and timeliness.
The actual body work completed as well as suspension appears fine. They would have gotten a higher rating if my exhaust pipe had not been broken in the process. Customer service response was it was rusted..we will see if your insurance will pay....Broken and rusted are 2 different things! I always use another shop for body work & let my adjuster talk me into this one..Never Again

I was visiting family over Easter weekend. While backing up, I snagged on a guide wire on a telephone pole that was in my blind spot and it ripped off the front bumper of my 14 GMC Yukon Denali. It was hanging on by a thread. We called Abra first thing Monday morning and they saw me right away to get an estimate. I felt so foolish but they were all so kind and professional the entire time. I was flying out for a week and could leave the car there to get fixed while I was gone. They took care of everything, fixed it good as new and even detailed the inside of the car. I cannot speak more highly of this business and all the people I encountered. Thank you so much for an excellent job.

Car had multiple scratches and rust spots and they made it look like new.
Friendly, professional staff. We had quite the wait, about 30 minutes due to other costumers and processing. But we were able to get our repair estimate. The associate delivered out estimate with candor and clarity. Besides the wait we were very about with our visit to Abra.

A couple of weeks back, I had a customer back into my car, destroying the drive side door. After many phone calls, his insurance company was going to cover it. I brought my car in for a quote, where I then got to drive it around all beat up, with a door that doesnt completely close, before the insurance company got to approving the quote. Finally, my car went in on a Monday, and I had it back by Thursday. They did a great job. And I was surprised to see they even cleaned my car. And I mean a good thorough clean. It was vacuumed. The dashboard, steering wheel, center console, etc.My only hiccup wasnt really their fault. But they wouldnt release the car until they got payment. I never received the check from the customers insurance company. Being that my car was ready, I had dropped off my rental and walked up there. This is just their policy, and no mark against them, so just make sure you have payment before you get stranded like I did. Thankfully, the insurance company called them, and told them theyd send a check direct to them, and I was on my way.I found the guys to be professional and courteous, and I hope I never need to see them again, but I would definitely recommend them.

Brought my car in due to a front end Collison and when I went to pick up my vehicle because it was a total loss they didnt even have my car street legal when I arrived headlight missing no bolts to put it back in place finally after going inside 2 times they offered to put the car back together who the hell does that

This shop Is amazing! They were able to do the work very quickly, very well, and they cleaned the interior! (I badly needed it) But they cleaned it better then when I’ve taken it to places foran interior cleaning.Now my car looks new and it took them less than a day. They customer service was awesome as well, very patient and explanatory. I’ll definitely be back!

Hello, I’ll try to keep this short.I initially got Arab’s information from my insurance company, so I booked an appointment. When I dropped my vehicle off, I went through the damage with one of the technicians and informed him my vehicle was now making a noise since I went in the ditch with it. I picked up my vehicle at the end of the business day, they was getting ready to leave the shop. So as soon as I took off I still heard that noise coming from the right end, the same noise I informed the technician on. So I called them and they were already gone. I left a voicemail, didn’t hear back for a couple of days until I called again and then I was told they don’t do mechanical work. Which I think I should’ve been told right when I mentioned that it was now making a noise in the front (especially when I turned right) because if that was the case I would have taken it somewhere else where I can get it all done at once.. It was an inconvenience and with covid 19 going on, a lot of shops were scheduled out. As for the body work, it looks good. Except my Chevy emblem is not there.
They did an amazing job of fixing the dent on my equinox. They even vacuumed out and wiped down the inside of my vehicle. Justin was really easy to work with as well.
My vehicle was taken to ABRA based on the advice of my insurance company. My overall experience after receiving damage to my vehicle was extremely poor.Two days after my vehicle was taken to ABRA and dropped off, the body shop called to ask me when my vehicle could be dropped off to begin work. When I explained it had already been brought there, they clearly knew a new vehicle had shown up, as the operator described my vehicle stating, “Oh, is that the grey one?”. When asked about it later, they stated the keys were on someone else’s desk. Meanwhile, my vehicle was out of commission for a couple more days, costing someone (insurance) additional money for the rental car. Clearly, inter-office communication is lacking.When I received my vehicle back, there was a warning indicator on for low tire pressure, which wasn’t on when the vehicle was taken to the shop (on a flatbed). I was not notified of the new indicator, nor did the shop fill up the tire. So much for getting the vehicle back in same or better condition than it was dropped off in. Is a low tire pressure a big deal? Not really – but it’s just one more indicator of poor customer service.There were new scratches all over the car. Now I can no more prove that, than the shop can prove they weren’t responsible. But based on my own knowledge and the incredible lack of quality for the rest of the job, Id say odds favor Im telling the truth. Scratches on three doors, the passenger quarter panel and driver side mirror. Some of them are considerable in scope. I don’t know how they washed the car after the work was done, could be it was a result from that (if a drive-through wash), but really not my problem, is it? My vehicle was brought there to be repaired, not damaged further. As far as Im concerned, the burden of proof should be on them - as they did not indicate during the initial walk-around that there were scratches anywhere - just like you would with a rental vehicle. But good luck getting that to work out.There was clear-coat over-spray on the rear window, rear deck lid, trim and rear bumper panel. Come on, folks. You’re supposed to be professionals, getting paid to do a job, and you can’t seem to accomplish the most mundane and basic of tasks, the prep work. Will the over-spray damage anything? No. But it’s noticeable enough to the untrained eye, I saw it after all. The rest of the damage sucks, but I cant prove it so I guess thats on me. But this? Completely unacceptable.The damaged portion that was repainted looked good (the only reason they got more than 1 star), but the rest of it was quite sloppy.The entire experience left me with a distaste in my mouth; it reeked of poor communication, sloppy workmanship and bad customer service.***Update: The service manager of the shop called to apologize, stating among other things, that there are supposed to be quality checks in place, that clearly were not followed. He offered to call the following week to set up a time when they could buff scratches and remove the over-spray. Fast forward a month or so, and still no call. Review dropped to one star, as the lack of customer service seems to extend all the way to the top. Leadership by example, folks.***Update Jan 2021: After approximately four months of zero calls back from this shop, they called again stating they just found my file and wondered if there was anything they could do to make the experience any better for me. Fool me once...
Abra couldn’t fix my car or perhaps they didnt care. My insurance company sent me there, and the most disappointing service ever: scratches, unrepaired mechanical issues... After multiple phones calls, emails, visits and (supposedly) repairs and inspections at Abra during the period of almost 1 and 1/2 months, my insurance company finally agreed to send my car to another mechanic for further diagnosis and repair because Abra was simply incompetent to fix simplest problems. My second mechanic found mechanical issues (two parts) right away, also had to correct Arbra’s body repair mistake. Two months after my car was origianlly sent to Abra, finally my car is repaired by the 2nd mechanic (NOT Abra) and back to the pre-accident condition. I would never forget what Brian (manager) said to me .... You crash your car, come to us, and expect us to make it perfect? … . I should have told him, “Yes, thats exactly what I expect.”

We used Abra in Grand Rapids when my daughter was involved in a collision. They were wonderful to work with, I talked the most with Brian and Justin. Every time I talked to them on the phone they took the time to explain where the car was in the process and answer all my questions - they were very patient. Abra worked seamlessly with our insurance company. They stuck to the timeline they gave me for completing the work and were even done a couple days early. We hadnt planned on picking it up before our vacation, but when I told Brian we were going out of town, he worked with me to make sure we could pick it up before we left and return the rental car so we didnt have to pay the extra days for it. Wonderful customer service! Thank you so much!

Ive been there several times and theyve remembered me despite it being months in between visits. They have gone above and beyond to make sure everything they do is quality and exactly what you asked/paid for. I really appreciate any place that has excellent customer service and Abra is high on my list of businesses I respect for that very reason. You can trust there people to take care of your vehicle but also to price it fairly as well as treat you like a valued person rather than a walking checkbook.

Only great experiences here. I can be picky about customer service, I hate being talked down to about my car. They have been great about listening to my concerns, helping me with insurance coverage, and letting me see the work that is done with my vehicle. They orders parts and let me do the work myself when I feel I can. I will continue to use them in the future. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was referred to this shop through Allstate after my drivers door was wrecked. The guys at ABRA did a great job replacing and repainting, no one has been able to see where any damage was done. The only issue I had was with the loner car but they do offer loners. If you only have the one car the millage is very limited so if you work very far you have to pay extra per mile after you use 50 per day.
The customer service was 5star plus, outstanding. I was in an accident 2 years ago and had my car repaired at an Abra in Illinois. The paint on the bumper started to peel. Having since moved to MI I came to this location and they repainted my bumper free of charge as warranty work and even gave me a loaner car to use. They had trouble matching it at first, and noticed it themselves and informed me before I noticed (Im not sure I would have ever noticed this because it was so subtle and had to be in the right light to see the difference). They corrected this no questions asked. superb experience here.
