Customer service, honesty and integrity are alive and well at Richmond Import Service. I have been a customer for 15 years, and have never had an unpleasant experience having my car serviced from minor to more complex issues. They have always made me aware of less expensive options when there have been some available, and have only suggested what is necessary to keep my truck running like new. When its time for a new car in a few years I will consider buying another Toyota, in part because I will be able to continue using Richmond Import for my car care needs. Like most of other reviewers have mentioned, they are the most honest, reasonably priced and punctual when it comes to Toyota car repair. They wont sell you anything your car dont need.

Not happy with being charged $100 more than I agreed to pay them to get a headlamp to work. Almost $700! They didnt call me to get the additional amount approved... they just added on an extra $100 to adjust the headlamps. Seems like adjusting the headlamp would be part of the $150 in labor they charged for installation. When I asked why they didnt call me, he said they were just too busy. Not a very good excuse. They seem to do good work, but they need to improve their communications with their customers.Update: Im updating my review to 5-stars. Chris had reached out to me to discuss my experience, and I was really impressed with his willingness to make things right. I know things dont always go right, but this shop clearly wants to address customer concerns when things dont quite meet expectations. Thanks Chris. I look forward to doing business again with you guys in the future.

Weve taken our Honday CRVs there for years and have had fantastic service! Totally trustworthy.

They fixed my Jeep and solved other problems quickly at a very reasonable cost. I do not have many good experiences with auto repair, but this is one of them. I am out of town and came to them randomly. I am a car guy and a mechanical engineer.

As long time clients we have been taking cars to Richmond Import for years, and we continue to be surprised by their integrity. They look for the best parts at the lowest price and tell clients which repairs make economic sense. What other auto repair shop refers you if theres a better alternative? If you have a Lexus more than a year old Richmond Import will take better care of your car, and of you, than the dealership.

The best place to take your car for a professional service. Very honest and professional people. They dont charge you double or triple for parts like other auto mechanics, and very reasonable labor charge per hour, and no extra hours charge. I deff recommend this place.

Always helpful. My relationship with Chris and company started over ten years ago. I found a Toyota specialists flyer on my windshield at my workplace in Innsbrook, within walking distance of Richmond Import Service. Been taking my cars and referring to family ever since. I left my work laptop there once. Not only did they call me, they stayed open an hour or so longer so I could come pick it up. I trust them. They arent trying to upsell me on anything. I keep buying Toyotas knowing I have a good place to take them.

After taking my rx330 to 2 other places, including Lexus of Richmond, the folks at Lexus Specialist Import were able to quickly diagnose and correct my cruise control problem. Working fine now! I wont be taking my RX anywhere else.

Terrible service! I had an appointment to drop off and pick up on Friday, but didnt get my car back until Monday. Was quoted that the work to be done would be $500 but was forced to pay $900! I never received a call for the extra work that needed to be done.
