Such an amazing place with reasonable prices that definitely deliver on qualityWe ordered the melted turkey sandwich and the pistachio cake. They both tasted so great that I had to taste the English cheesecake and took home theVictorias SecretPistachio cream cake andBlack forest cakeThe service was also up to the mark and other hostess was very kind. Will definitely come here again.
Complete disappointment. Been here 5 times all together. Each time they were out of several breakfast menu options by 11:00. Why say you serve breakfast till 13:00 on weekends if you don’t have half of the menu at 11:00? No idea. Last time I went there I ordered an inedible croissant. This croissant is the worst example of a saggy bottom I have ever tasted in my life. As the matter of fact, it was so saggy that the croissant stuck to the wooden board it was served on. Never seen anything like it. Lost of better places for breakfast in Kiev.
This must be a priority stop if you ever visit Kyiv !We ordered the chicken salad with medium spicy sauce and it was just perfect! The Turkey melt was something else ! I’ve never liked a combination of Turkey and eggs but this was so good !For desserts we had the super chocolate cake which is gluten free ! Of course you can tell how good it was by the name!!!+Popcorn cake was fluffy sponge cake tastes a bit like banana bread topped woth caramel sauce and popcorn which was nice !The service was amazing.
Best brunch in Kyiv so far, hands-down 🙌🏽. Very fresh ingredients and very tasty food. I ordered iced macha tea with homemade almond milk, avocado toast with poached egg, and berry tart. I had to force myself to stop eating because i was very full. Otherwise, i would continue and try all their menu. The crew is very friendly and the crowd is beautiful 😍.
A bit pricy for Breakfast yet the Service was pretty fast. All of the waiters speak English therefore it is easy to communicate. We ordered eggs Benedict & scrambled egg on a toast & a tea. Total bill was 499AUH close to 19$.They accept dogs to the cafe which is a good thing. Overall we like the cafe although Eggs Benedict was not superb.
I had a great experience there with my friend their brownies are awesome must try if you visit this place
TREE LECHES MILK CAKE & PAVEL desserts are so yummy! I will definitely come back to eat them again. One of the best bakeries in Kyiv.
Good service, decent coffee and a respectable breakfast menu. Also nice to sit outside on a sunny day.Service was pretty good, although when busy slowed down a bit.Well priced. $
A place to go for nice desserts and great service! Love that this place has lots of waiters since waiting time is quite short and dishes are served quickly. Quality of food is quite high, desserts are really nice but also the price is respective. Cafe has its own bar, so all drinks including coffee are served from there. It’s very clean inside. Lovely place!
Nice place to eat breakfast. Waited for 15 min and nobody acknowledged us. That’s bad customer service. I just want the management to take notice. Having said that they do have one of the best breakfast places in Kiev.
Foods is good maybe more less expensive
This is our second visit to this branch and it wont be the last one. Their overall food and deserts are tasty. Their waitress Olga was really friendly and she made sure things we ordered are the way we wanted them to be. She was always in eye contact with us to make sure everything was perfect.See Olga at Shota Rustaveli St branch because she speaks well English and she is a high standard waitress!Victoria Secret cake is a must. Dont leave without trying it.
Liked the vibes of this place. friendly and nice staff who speak english. i had tree leches milk cake which was real yum! we asked for one to go and they gave it for us for free as a gift! nice gesture. My mom had chocolate icream and she liked it, i felt it was rich in coca powder flavor.Summer in bottle smoothie was refreshing but not real cold. I had to ask for ice.def, i will come again.
Nice interior, good coffee and cakes. Self-made almond milk - be careful with it, taste too sour. Some furniture is lacking stability and shacking all the time. Not sure if this a feature, more looks like a bug.
Nice place. Tasty food. Good service. Wasnt overcrowded, though it usually is. The only bad thing can think of is music that is a bit too loud to have a conversation...
The red velvet cake and victoria secret cake are top notch; the best i have had in a long time.
Ordered Benedict eggs that came super cold, covered in greasy sauce - probably would taste much better if it wasn’t ice cold. The soup and burger were decent but overall very disappointed in cold eggs.
Unarguably one of the best places for a great breakfast experience. The place is very nice, the staff is young, helpful and bright, and the food is amazing. Probably the best porridge Ive had in my life (Im young but I make a lot of porridge), and the toasted bread with PB&J was just supposed to be a side, but could easily be a main (size-wise). Good value for money. Will come back again, definitely recommend 🥰
Good food, good service,a bit expensive compared to the restaurants around it, but the quality worth it.
Very expensive sweets and poor service.Dirty outdoor seating with pigeons eating from left overs on the next tables
I tried cold banana shake and big cookie in there it was delicious. You should try desserts for sure.
A cool restaurant/cafe with a laidback vibe and creative menu. Deserving of a high score. Ordered the bacon and eggs as well as syrniki (russian cheese pancakes), a must try.
This place sells mediocre food at a price of a high end bakery. I was shocked to see the price of a basic cheesecake equivalent to $50 USD - an unjustifiable price for some biscuits and cheese. Sad to see Kyivs cafes turn into money grabbing industries.
Delicious food, friendly service and a chill vibe. I came here following the recommendation of a friend as a must do during my trip in Kiev and Im glad I came. I ordered the unicorn cake and a lemongrass coffee. Both were DELICIOUS. This place can become pretty busy so my friend and I ended up just sitting at the bar as opposed to a table to enjoy our coffee and cakes
The place is incredibly delicious. I’m from Saudi Arabia and I saw this place and I fall in love with it. I would highly recommend it. المكان لذيذ جداً ويستاهل التجربة
A must visit gem in Kyiv. Everything is good! And as always service with a smile.
Sat in the worst seat possible indoors, new customers that were in a queue leaned against a divider just right beside my table. Waiters were oblivious to the obvious discomfort and weren’t willing to exchange the seats. People in the queue were spitting and spatting while chatting and leaning against my table. Could’ve been nice but it was not.
Really enjoyed a brunch with family at Milk Bar. Worth noting that breakfast menu is available on workdays, while on weekends you will have a brunch option. We ordered an omelette with chicken and couscous porridge. Food was very tasty, well-prepared and service was excellent. But keep in mind that this place is slightly pricey compared to other spots in Kyiv. Also, at 11 am on Saturday is was super crowded)
Absolutely awesome! They have an excellent menu for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of sweet and savory options. I had a traditional style breakfast but they knocked it out of the park. The smoothies are also delicious (try the chili-mango) The service is attentive, helpful, and lightning-fast. Also the best place in the city to grab dessert. From cinnamon rolls to cheesecake theyve got something for your sweet tooth.
For our surprise the queue wasn’t that long as everyone had mentioned. We got a table in around 5 minutes. There were many waiters, it made the atmosphere pretty stressful even tho it wasn’t, your empty cup of coffee was taken away before you had the time to put it down on the table.Coffee tasted well, we also originally ordered some dessert in a glass but got some sort of “cake” with strawberries and whipped cream instead. We accepted the miscommunication and ate it. It was good, but was it 300 hryvnia good? Nah, more expensive than in Sweden och New York. Maybe a turist trap maybe just miss communication, either way - I don’t think we’re coming back.
When I lived in Kyiv, this place was a fan fave in my volunteer abroad group. The grilled cheese is to DIE FOR. I think about it often.
Menu has changed after my last visit. Unfortunately they removed some of the best deserts and brunch items.Notes:- After menu update they removed the English menu from deserts and drinks menu, you need to ask for English menu, it will be provided- Waiter on our first day couldn’t speak English but another waiter helped us- 3 milk desert is so sweet now- Only filter coffee is available from menu, other 3rd wave coffee methods not available- At restroom there is only hot water(quite hot) at taps, it is not possible to wash hands after couple seconds !!!!!!+ They provided sugar syrup separately next to lemonade which allows you to balance sugar+ Avocado and poached egg toast taste ok, could be served with some salad with this priceOverall, things looking below my previous experiences/expectations, it used to be a must visit place, not any more.
Latte macchiato was cold. Cake was good.
Testy desserts. High price. Not client oriented at all. They have refused to cook items from breakfast menu. They said that kitchen were rebuilt for a main menu 10 minutes ago... And that we are just late (but, they were looking for a place for us for a long time). At the same time, they offer breakfasts (along with main menu) all day at Monday. Thus, their kitchen can be used to cook breakfast all day in reality. Conclusion: The Milk Bar is unfair with clients, they are lazy and will loose their clients until they rethink their behavior.
Hands down, the best coffee I had in Kyiv. Also, their desert is something that shouldn’t be missed while you’re there 👌🏼
The worst service ever! They made me wait in queue outside for a table like 15mins and some lady just walked in front of me and spoke to waiter and occupied the table. The waitress just plainly lied on my face saying she too was waiting before!Highly unprofessional attitude towards foreigner.I would highly recommend to avoid this place under any circumstances.
One of the most popular places in Kyiv. Prices are too high, Id say, but damn it, their desserts are amazing! And I also really like the interior design.UPD: I dont know why but desserts are not so awesome anymore... Besides, coffee and milkshakes are just awful, wouldnt recommend trying them. Wouldnt recommend Milk bar in general anymore.
Breakfast like a dream. For all the day
Nice service with amazing taste...
Great place, very tasteful. A bit too american thou
The bar is quite popular. The location is just perfect. You can drive up from all directions and by different transport. Quite affordable prices, which is very pleasing. However, not everything is a disadvantage. The restaurant offers very large portions. I love coming here with my friends. Although you can relax with your family.
Amazing sweets and cakes. Just amazing
It was clean, the service was nice, but it was really expensive and in my opinion (except the chocolate cake) not really worth its price.
The most popular place in Kiev. Center, delicious desserts and corporate design. Where everyone should make a photo with a brand-name utensil or an exposition on the street. On a day off or even just in the evening - long lines to sit at a table. There are waiters a lot, but in this crowd you need to order yourself . Take-away is also available you can pick up coffee and dessert, but check that you put in a branded box and package. Conclusion: you need to go in the morning to eat delicious and relax
3 star is just because they don’t have any idea about coffee even though they pretend to be a high quality coffee cafe.Cappuccino is 12-14 oz cup, milk with coffee flavor made in lamarzocco.Pour over is just one option from Kenia. And I was told it takes 15-20 minutes to make it. This is ridiculous. Nobody cares about training staff. The food is just ok.Atmosphere is really nice.
You can go everyday without hesitation .
Ive been looking for a place with GREAT breakfast for 25 years! This is the best yet. Very friendly staff! Now, if they would do 2 eggs over easy with bacon, fried potatoes and toast Id come once a week! 😊
We tried the tres leches, Coney Island (plain cheesecake), English cheesecake, banana brownie, lavender milk, matcha latte and tonic in the span of two days! The first time I was a bit disappointed to see that they didnt have many items available on the menu when we went. My first (red velvet cake), second (basque cake) and third (English cheesecake) choices werent available at the time. So I went for the plain cheesecake which was lovely nonetheless! I was pretty bummed out to see that they did have a mille feuille matcha cake (cake made out of thin crêpes). It would have been nice if the staff pointed this out as a new addition simply because it wasnt on the menu, I just happened to notice it when I was leaving. The lavender milk is something I had to try but now I know what it tastes like, Im probably not going to choose it again. Its exactly how youd expect it to taste like but I just cant get used to the idea of drinking instead of smelling lavender. The matcha latte was just okay but Ive had better. The tonic version was exactly what I was expecting but I didnt really enjoy it, boyfriend took it out of curiosity. The banana brownie was very good considering Im not a huge fan of bananas as ingredient in dessert! And both cheesecakes were delicious but the real star of everything was the tres leches! It. Is. Divine. We really liked this place and would definitely come back to try out the other goods whenever we can!
