My son has wanted to visit a cat cafe for a couple years now, so when we were staying nearby on vacation, we jumped on the opportunity to stop by to play with adorable cats and support a great cause. The staff were so kind and the cats were obviously well-cared for and their well-being was always first priority. Hope to be back soon.

The Purr & Pour Cat Cafe is an absolute gem in Georgetown! Grab a cup of coffee, or something stronger if you would like, from the menu and enjoy it while playing with cats who will entertain you with their adorable personalities! All of the cats in the cafe are adoptable! It is necessary to sign a waiver, as the Purr & Pour Cat Cafe does not declaw their cats. Dont forget to take a peek at the t-shirts, wallets, and other little souvenirs in the shop! The owner is just as sweet as the cafe itself, and she made our time spent in the Purr & Pour Cat Cafe a very fun afternoon!

Very wonderful place. Very wonderful people that work at Purr and Pour Cat Cafe. I ended up adopting two cats, Queenie (smaller cat) and Mama (bigger cat).

This place is a gem for cat-lovers! We have been twice now while visiting from out of town and love it! We have brought our kids twice now and they love it. We have animals at home, so they are very aware of how to approach animals and listen to direction well. The staff is so welcoming of us and them and say it is good for the cats to be exposed to children too. This is just such a cute place to take an hour from touring Georgetown to stop in for some A/C and a cool drink while enjoying some cuddle time with feline friends. Cant say enough great things, stop in sometime and see for yourself!

What a wonderful experience!! My family & I were on vacation & made a trip down to Georgetown to visit the Cat Cafe on the recommendation of our daughter, who goes to college in S.C. We had such a fun time that we ended up adopting 2 of their fur babies. Vixen & Milkyway are now a part of the Dooley household & we couldnt be happier! 😊❤

The couple that owns this business really cares for the the customer. They are very friendly and will introduce you to every cat so you know their name. They do not over book the session you are scheduled for. So the cats are not that distracted and can interact with the people and give the cats best opportunity for possible adoption. Me and Gf had a great experience. This is a great place just to get away and socialize with the cats to relax or see the cats for possible forever companion. All the cats their deserves a permanent home.

I loved my visit at Purr & Pour Cat Cafe and highly recommend others visit and support them! I am actually allergic to cats and did not sneeze or have itching eyes at all while there. The facility is so clean and the cats are so loved and well cared for by the owners. I will definitely return and try to resist bringing all the cats home!!

I had a great time. I’ve been on travel for a while and really needed a kitty fix. My only issue was that I reserved time and thought there would be fewer people allowed in during my reserved time. The kitties are adorable and fun to play with. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely go back.This place is also awesome because the are just fostering the cats. Every kitty is available for adoption, so if you’re looking for a fur-baby, give them a visit.

The cats were wonderful. Some were more playful than others but you could tell every cats personality. One sat next to my child as he read a book. Others played with wands with my other child. Everyone was satisfied and happy to be there. The staff were lovely and definitely loved the cats.

Amazing experience. Patricia and Alicia were extremely helpful in finding us a new kitty. The cat room and cafe were very clean and inviting. Once we were alone with the cats we were able to get to know many of them. Shamron, a young handsome tuxedo chose us. We also enjoyed the calming music that was playing.My husband and I highly recommend Purr and Pour. We were given complete records, rabies tag, microchip ID#, and some food to take home. We love our new little buddy.💕

Great place to hang out and play with some Kitties. Not ready to adopt at this moment, but will certainly visit again when were ready. Staff is super friendly and they introduced us to their numerous cats waiting for furrever homes. It was hard to leave without taking one or two home.

We discovered this cafe by accident and it was the highlight of the vacation for me. A must see for any true cat lover. Free roaming adoptable cats to brush and play with. A very nice selection of items for sale in the cafe from cat toys to t-shirts. Best of all, all proceeds go to support a shelter.

The cat room is clean and comfortable, with cat toys and tables and cute sleeping nooks all around.Beverage options vary from coffee and tea, to wine or beer for the adults in your party. (Really good beer selection, too!)

I love cats, and so do the Purr & Pour folks! My extended family enjoyed our hour-long cat-petting session. The atmosphere is set up wonderfully for the cats, and it was heartwarming to know that these cats were able to socialize and run around in a safe and playful environment while waiting to be adopted.

Wonderful place to hang out with cats. My family are cat people and being away from our pets for a week is hard. It was lovely to pet the cats and hear about the good this Cafe is doing for feral cats in the area. The staff knows the cats and really cares about finding them permanent homes.

My very first Cat cafe and I love it! I was on vacation and hadnt petted my own cats in 5 days so I was definitely due for some time with the felines, enjoyed a glass of wine as well and bought a super cute T shirt! If I come back here again for vacation Ill definitely come back here!

Its a nice little place in Georgetown area to sit and relax for a bit. The owners were super friendly and conversational throughout the whole visit and the cats were fun to play around with too. Theres a separate room where you can get a free drink with a donation of any amount, so getting a free beer and playing around with cats is a win in my book.

Patricia was phenomenal. The cats were great to be around and the items from the gift shop go to helping the cats. My daughter and I loved it here.

We had a wonderful visit at the cat cafe. The owners are incredibly sweet and you can tell that they take good care of the kitties there. All of the cats were happy and seemed comfortable. It made us happy to see how the owners planned the space out for cats first and put their needs into consideration. We would love to visit again and highly recommend it.

We had an absolute blast at Purr & Pour! There were 11 cats that we were able to play with for an hour. There was also a variety of beverages to choose from in the cafe, and the workers there were so helpful.

If you love cats you will enjoy having a beverage, something to eat and playing with these little lovelies! You can adopt from here. They ask for a $10 cover to come in but it helps to feed them and any Vet cost. The staff is very friendly and informative!

On vacation and needed to take a rest from walking & shopping, and also missing my cat, and what a gem this place is! Owners were SO friendly, and so passionate about helping the animals in the community! I had a nice glass of wine, got to hang out with some very loving kitties (Vincent stole my heart), look at some of the fun books they have in the lounging area, chat with other cat lovers ... and my admission goes toward good work in the animal community. A win/win/win/win/win .... cheers to this great place!

This place was amazing! So much better than the cat cafe in Charleston! It was a very reasonable price and we even got a free drink! The cat selection here was great as well! I felt very welcome and will definitally be going there again.

We found the perfect addition to our family which we were not expecting. We were just trying to kill an hour by playing with the kitties however our little Crowley stole our hearts and we took him home the next day. What a wonderful place! I wish more of these establishments existed.

So many lovely cats to see. When I sat down on the couch to pet a cat, a dear sweet female cat hopped up in my lap for pets. She made herself comfortable and just kept purring. A must visit in Georgetown, SC.

This was a wonderful experience for us and our two boys (ages 9 and 7). We had lots of fun playing and hanging out with the cats. The owners were kind and friendly and our visit even included a drink for each of us. Masks were required and entries limited so it definitely felt safe.

The owners are very friendly, my onky complaint is that hey have a small selection of drinks (but thats ok, and its not their main focus), overall I liked the experience. Its a great place to visit if youre in the area and missing your pets. They also have a map for you to pin your locality onto, I thought it was interesting seeing that people from all around the world have been here. We will visit again, and we recommend this place to anyone interested in helping these folks save some kitties!

The space was happy/lively, the staff were super friendly and passionate, the cats were cute and affectionate, and the value for what we paid was phenomenal! This was such an awesome visit! We had the opportunity to pet the cats and as we were the only two customers at the end of the day, we got to feed them! This place is truly a wonderful idea as the cats get to socialize and feel more comfortable than they would in an animal shelter. Will definitely be going back!

OMG Kittehs!!! We made a reservation online for 4p and arrived to spend time meeting all the adoptable kitties. Our host was so helpful and told us the names of each of the cats and a bit about their personality. There were plenty of toys and places for the cats to hang out. Almost all the cats were friendly and curious. There were a few that were skittish. We spent an hour playing with the cats and giving out our fill of head scritchies. Because we were there as the last appointment of the day, we were able to help feed the cats as well. There is a cute little gift shop in the back. Street parking only.

I recently went to the Purr and Pour Cat Cafe as a gift to my cat crazy girlfriend. I actually had a blast with the cats (who are absolutely adorable) and the amazing owners who are extremely kind, caring, and wonderful people. To top it off, the coffee is great! I HIGHLY recommend that you visit!

Me and my wife had a super good time there! It was the first time we went to a cat cafe and loved every bit of it! We also still love little Ace, who was a bit aggressive, but thats cause he was super playful, and we understand thats in some cats nature, so it was no big deal. Overall it was an A+++++ experience and we look forward to visiting again, whenever we vacation again in the area!

Purr & Pour Cat Cafe is a gem in historic downtown Georgetown. The owners, Patricia and Steve were wonderful! We also enjoyed talking to the young lady who was working at the reception desk when we checked in at the cafe. The cats are well cared for and full of personality. We loved supporting this small business and spending some time with some very sweet kitties. Well be back to visit again!

Took my 6 year old grandson there to play with the kitty’s. He loved it!! Patricia gave us some info on each kitty so we knew how to interact with them. Steve really engaged with Caden to connect with him and make him comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to take your kids and grands to!
