Went in for tires and was very impressed with Ross. Told him what I was looking for and he was great to work for my needs. He was spot on with the look I had in visioned in my head. I was totally disappointed in the original person that mounted and balanced my tires. Outrageous vibration when I left. Brought my car back the next morning and Ross put his best man on my car. After rebalancing the wheels to perfection I am totally happy with my experience there. Thank you to Ross and the man that had to make my wheels perfect. Totally pleased now.
Jerry/JD was great. A+ customer service and kept his s**t together even when rude customers were yelling at him for things that were out of his control.
We scheduled an oil change and tire rotation appointment at noon. When we arrived we spent almost 15 minutes just checking in. After over an hour we called to check in on the status of our car and they had not even started it yet. We considered leaving and going somewhere else but as we were about to, they pulled the car into the garage. We left for lunch and were supposed to received a call once the car was ready however when we returned again over an hour later, we had not been called yet and the car was already sitting in the parking lot. It took over ten minutes again just to pay. What was supposed to take under an hour ended up taking over three.
Little slow due to not many technicians at the time. But very friendly staff. Work was well done.
My husband was told he got a free sumitomo tire. He did not. He was there over 4 hours getting new tires. How slow can you be? Got home after all that and Erica called gave my husband someone elses key. He had to go back and take then the key. What a bad experience. Dont go here.. a very day.
These guys are absolutely the worst tire shop Ive ever had to deal with. I was lied to over the phone repeatedly (about price, wait times, and availability of specific tires they said were in stock). The price was exorbitant. I feel like they preyed on my wife because she was there alone and upsold her to get the most expensive tire they could sell her. The wait time was outrageous. I will never go there except maybe to stop by and yell my frustrations out at the front counter. This shop is a clown show. Save your time, your money, and your sanity....go anywhere else.
Made an appointment for 10am on Saturday, was on time (even early) and there were only three cars in the bays (and MAYBE one waiting). The customer service reps were super nice and told me it should be about an hour. Over an hour and half later and they have yet to remove it from the spot I left it. An older man, who I assume is the manager, assisted another older gentleman that came in and wanted new tires. The manager told him he could help him and get him those tires today — meaning RIGHT THEN. Put the man’s car in the bay and there were two (including me) still waiting to be seen from 10 AM! If I was behind appointments, that’s fine and I understand it’s a busy day. But to take a walk-in over your waiting customers that had appointments is bad business and sexist that my time doesn’t matter.
Best experiences I’ve had at a tire kingdom! I’ve had overall terrible experiences. But Rigel. On the phone was super helpful. Gave me a price I couldn’t refuse. I came in. Got it done in under 2 hours! Flippin great. Awesome team!
8/21/21 went in at 930am for an 11am appt(tires and alignment). I left my truck since they said it would be ready at 2pm. I come back at 3pm to my truck parked in the same spot. The managers response we dont have any open bays. Well, youve lost a customer too.
Had appt for 1130am finished up around 230.😑 Let me tell you the wait was well worth it! 😰They found a major issue😱. Got the parts,😀 fixed problem.😀 At a descent price And then i was on my merry way. Highly recommend NTB!!!! You guys rock.

Great experience with these guys. Had a flat tire around 7pm at the tail end of a 7 hour drive. We (Family of 5) got a hotel until morning so I could call around. We were traveling to a vacation rental so losing the night and at least half the next day was pretty unfortunate. First thing in the morning every single shop I called was slammed (holiday weekend) and wouldnt even give me a time estimate. Talked to Chris at NTB and explained the situation. He said they were busy too and had about an hour wait, but if I came in he would take care of me.I left the family at the hotel and took the car in as soon as I hung up. He checked me in, took the car back as soon as he could, quickly found the leak, and was able to patch it up. He came in the lobby to give me updates the entire time. All in all it took less than an hour from when I arrived. Was able to get back on the road before 10, which was huge.These guys were extremely considerate and professional. They prioritized me because I was in a tough spot, and I couldnt be more grateful. I truly appreciate buisnesses that operate like this. They have my highest recommendation.
Got some tires installed. Took longer than expected but the up front staff was very apologetic and helped me understand their circumstances. Danielle was so polite and nice! And the manager was up front and out in the shop the whole time i was there trying to keep the cars flowing with the mechanics! Need more staff but overall very good!

I got a front end alingment bout a month ago. Hit a curb with right front wheel. Ever since the accident my steering wheel shakes when braking over 45mph. I change rotors and changed calipers. Still shakes so my other option was get a front end alignment. So I did and now my car shakes when I got over 30mph and shakes when hitting the brakes. My car is worst now than before I took it them
My husband took our car here earlier today for an oil change. We made an appointment for 3 oclock. Thinking that if we made an appointment it would be done faster. My husband waited for an hour before they even took the car back. & he had to tell them again that he was waiting on an oil change for them to do anything. Its like he had to remind them to do their job. Very unprofessional.
I have came to this NTB since I’ve moved to Gastonia two years ago. All the younger guys are nice with positive attitudes. I went to get an oil change a week in a half ago, the older guy at the front desk started on my car 30+ minutes after I got there a few minutes before my appointment. I was there for over an hr in a half for them NOT To have rotated my tires or put air in them (as I asked, and because it’s included in the amount), just to find out today it’s NO oil in my car as if I haven’t gotten an oil change. I’ve never experience this issue prior to today and feel like I should be compensated for this poor service. There are no other issues with my car and they found no issues, I don’t think they completed their job for the amount I ALWAYS spend when I go for an OIL CHANGE.

Stopped in to get a tire repaired. It was a trailer tire that was in the back of my truck. Before I even finished telling the guy what I was there for he told me he didnt have any patches. My first thought was your a tire store. How can you not have any patches? Second thought was there is a parts store almost directly across the street that delivered to wholesale customers. I know this because I work in the automotive aftermarket. This guy just didnt want to help. Very rude unhelpful service. Go somewhere else. Dont stop here and spend your money.
Rigel is the best store manager this location has seen in the past 5 years that ive been coming here. very nice. very professional and very knowledgeable when it come to the mechanics and technical aspect of the vehicles that come in.

Ordered tires online from tire rack.com and had them delivered here. I called and set up an appointment for them to change all 4 tires and do an alignment. Got there and they began the work only to tell me that they only got 2 tires in, but they had 3 wheels off the car already. It took them over 2 hours to diamount mountand ballance 2 wheels and didnt even get the alingment. Not a good shop to go to
My wife realized that our vehicle needed an oil change before going on vacation. So she called to see if they had any openings in their schedule, and they said that they were booked, but if we brought our vehicle in they would work us in. Oil changed completed and the manager was great to deal with too. I’ll be going back with all of my vehicles.
Service is horrible. Took over 1.5hrs for a simple tire rotation and balance.I‘ve worked at NTB in the past, and still to this day I’m dealing with this company! TBC Corporate is a HORRIBLE company to work for! NEVER in my life will I work for a company who does not care about employee’s or even the customer! Had an appointment to get the oil changed in my daughter’s car. Scheduled a conventional oil change. The girl working at the counter printed out some forms. She asked if I was getting a full synthetic change. I said no, conventional. She walked around the corner and spoke to someone, I assume the manager. All I heard was him saying “there ain’t no way.” She came back out and said they wouldn’t do a conventional oil change. No explanation just that. Very unprofessional. The manager or whoever he was couldn’t come out of hiding to explain? I just spent $1300 on a set of tires for my car and was treated well. I guess if you spend $1300 on tires they treat you better than if you’re just getting a $30 oil change. I won’t even go back to get the free tire rotations on my car. I’d rather go somewhere else and pay for it than go to this place for anything.

I went to this place a few months ago and bought new tires service was great at that time. But then I made an appointment a couple weeks ago to have an oil change . when I got there I was told I didnt have an appointment and their computer. that I could be worked and but it would be an hour or two. I told them thats why I made the appointment I didnt want to wait that long.
Whats the point of setting up an appointment? I understand a short wait but waiting over an hour before they even touch your car is ridiculous.

The customer service here really needs some improvements, I came for a simple tire mount and balance I was told 45mins. We left the store to go get breakfast which took about 30mins.we figure they would have the car in the bay by then but they havent even started on the car.Ever so often i would look and see how far along was they into mount and balance of the tires and the guy was talking and watching a video that someone was showing him.I asked acouple times how much longer i was told 10 to 20mins. It took 2hours to do a simple tire mount and balance . I asked for a manger but the look on his showed that he didnt care . Im a auto tech myself and the way this all happen was really bad. I had no problem with the price but the service on all parts should have been starting from the front desk all the way to the managers.

Went to Firestone first to get tires. The people there were rude as rude could get. So I walked out and went to NTB. The girl asked if I had an appointment and said no. She said no worries ill get you in. And she did was in and out in less than 2 hours for 4 tires and an alignment. Thanks NTB and the girl who was working on New Years day
Today I dropped off my vehicle for an oil change around 10:45 am with a ready time of around 2 o’clock. I receive a call maybe 30-45 minutes later saying that I needed a new oil pan because the bolt was stripped and leaking oil. Remind you I’m going in for a regular 5,000-6,000 mile oil change with no evidence of a leak. They tell me it will be $750 dollars for a new oil pan, oil, and labor. My mouth drops with shock that something so simple (2 hour job for an experienced mechanic) could cost so much. The employee tells me that he can work with me on the price though... how does that make sense? So I call a local mechanic S&B Detail & Auto (Bobby) and he tells me that he can replace the stripped bolt with an over sized bolt that cost $7 and change the oil with no problem. They easily saved me $625 and turned a negative into a positive. NTB should be ashamed of themselves and should have offered the same solution instead of trying to rip off a customer. Please don’t waste your time. Thanks

This store is great! I went in for a simple oil change and asked them if they could try to find where a weird noise was coming from. Within minutes Brendon walked me out to my car and showed me exactly what was causing the noise. The mechanic was also very helpful in explaining how the brakes were making noise. So of course I had them do the work to. They were very quick and fair priced. I was a great pleasure to do business with them and I will be coming back for all my cars!

Did a break job on my daughters car and charged $450 and did NOT bleed the brakes. Said they would charge us $79.00 to bleed them. I will NEVER take another vehicle to these people again and WILL NOT recommend them to anyone.

I fully understand company policies as I work for a company that provides very similar services as this location. But it is very disheartening when the young man at the front counter won’t even consider helping with a valve stem replacement when I was stranded 35 minutes from home with three children in the car due to having a size tire on my car that is not recommended. I didn’t ask for mounting the tire as I already have the tires on the car. I just needed a valve stem replaced which doesn’t require the removal of the tire from the wheel but just to break the bead right by the stem for replacement. As I said, I understand company policies but when someone is in dire need of help as I explained, I would absolutely break rules just to be a good person with decent moral compass. Humanity>policies
Their road hazard warranty paid off for me twice within 2 months. Though Im ticked at myself for messing up my tires, they honored their warranty and fixed my tires no questions asked. Not once, but twice. I was a little upset the first time because it cost me almost 400.00 to replace my tires WITH the warranty, and the issue was no fault of my own. However, only two really needed to be replaced and they gave me all 4. The second incident was absolutely my fault. They probably could have technically denied my request for replacement, considering it is road hazard and I was the responsible party. I went in upset with MYSELF and the employee not only served my vehicle but served me as well. I am now a happy customer and recognize he went above and beyond when he could have said Sorry, your accident is not our responsibility.
Best experience Ive had at an auto shop yet! They are very friendly and know what they are doing. I dont usually leave reviews, but I had to spread the word about them. I definitely recommend paying them a visit.
Went this morning with shaking in my car when I slowed down. They fixed it, same day in about an hour. Great service, helpful staff and very knowledgeable. I will remain a loyal customer.
Was told during an oil change at a different company that my battery showed weak even though it had been replaced at NTB (different location). Asked this location to check the battery strength, associate showed me the printout of the battery that it was testing strong. Had to ask what steps I should take next because the jeep isnt starting right up, and was eventually told that it could be the starter or the alternator, and after more prodding, was told they could test both for free.So as long as you know what you need to ask for, theyll do it for you. Nice guys but not overly helpful.

Went in for normal oil change. they told me my brakes were almost metal to metal!!! gave me a great price, very efficient and quick service and havent had any problems! great great GREAT people from management to the technician.
Had 4 new tires installed on my RAM 1500... drove home and clearly out of balance. Went back... waited over an hour for them to finally rebalance the tires. Found that they were still out of balance... now I’m back for another round of balancing and the management could care less. As a matter of fact very condescending with me (our machines sometimes go out of spec)... This site has the worst customer service. Stay away! I’ll never be back.

Worst service across the board from part time kid behind the counter to store manager and even heads in the corporate office DO NOT take your vehicle any where near these people. Took my car in for a simple oil change with absolutely nothing wrong with it now it’s on a flat bed trailer to be fixed. These Jake leg people have no clue what there doing should not be in business. Evidently they know as much about cars as your average person carrying a screw driver.
Had an emergency near store closing but these great guys took me in and handled their business very professionally and swift thanks to Rigel and his crew. Highly recommend this company for your tire service.
Come at your own risk! Theyll do the oil change yes but will mess up your car... I went in for a oil change waited for almost 3 hrs and the manager came back in to tell me they cant get my car started again due to that they messed my engine and had to get my car towed out the shop.They were unprofessional and unapologetic. The company didnt want to take responsibility for their mistakes and full of bullsh*t. Dont come here.

GASTONIA TIRE DATES! about a month ago I bought 4 new tires about 3 weeks in I don’t know what made me look but when I checked the manufacturer date on the tires one of them was 2 1/2 years old sold as new! I called the store they were nice enough said come by so they can look at it I did that Thursday 11/7 they were nice enough & ordered me a new tire to be installed today 11/11 all was good until I went to leave the lady at the counter was closing out my ticket and said that will be $22.something WHAT they wanted to charge me for replacing the tire that never should have been sold as new so she didn’t know the back story but the “manager” Brandon Brenon something like that is who I saw on Thursday & coming in today so he came around the corner I asked why do I have a bill? That should be warranty he started to try to explain so I said it’s NTB his store’s fault the tire had to be replaced = no money he got ATTITUDE and said take you keys and leave what has happened to customer service...
Most of the time, when I take my vehicle there I receive excellent service. My recent experience was not that great. I called prior to taking my vehicle in to make an appointment so I wouldn’t be waiting as long as I would have been if I had just drop by. Although I had made the appointment it still took more than two hours to balance and rotate my tires and check my alignment which had to be adjusted. My issue was when I was told on the phone when I made the appointment that it wouldn’t take as long because I had an appointment at a certain time, still took over two hours. Then when they told me my vehicle was ready I checked and ask if they had rotated my tires which they had not...REALLY! They had to take my Vehicle back in to rotate the tires. Not only that but my steering wheel and the drivers door had grease all over them which they tried “somewhat” to get off after I had to ask them to clean it. In my opinion they are starting to get slack, each time I go in there it seems to get worse and worse. I guess you can say I’ve had an unpleasant experience.

Vehicle was damaged during a simple flat tire repair while I was visiting Gastonia, NC. Technician acknowledged the damage was not there prior to the service, but couldnt diagnose the cause. I took it home, had it diagnosed, and took it back the next time I had to go to Gastonia (about 100 miles from home). I told them what had been broken(exhaust flange), and they asked to examine it.I was then brought into the shop where store manager Brendon told me I had a broken exhaust flange. He said they hadnt worked in that area so wasnt responsible. I responded by saying I knew he hadnt worked in that area, but that the lift they used had damaged it. He just kept saying sorry you feel that way. I pointed out that the problem didnt exist before they worked on it, and again he says sorry you feel that way. I pointed out I wasnt discussing my feelings on the matter, but facts about the situation, and he says again sorry you feel that way. I requested to file a claim, received no paperwork, and no point of contact to follow up with.A repair that wouldve been less than $100 is now likely to lead into a matter of court costs and reimbursement for travel issues all because Brendon doesnt know how to manage a business, or say anything other than sorry you feel this way.Should be less than a star, but that wasnt an option. If you appreciate your car, dont bring it here.

I had a very good experience at NTB. The mechanic took time to sit and explain what he thought was needed (oil change and new tires) and explained what each service was and what it would cost. There were individual charges and I asked about each which he patiently explained.

Took wifes vehicle in for tire rotation/alignment. scheduled appointment online and dropped off vehicle. returned in a few hours and it was ready for pick-up. i recommend their alignment package since you can do it at scheduled intervals and whenever needed.
Went in today to have a valve stem replace.Made an appointment for 3 pm and was told that even with an appointment I might have to wait 1-1:30 hour.When I got to the store it was empty. I said great this should be in and out.As I came in and gave them my name it was joke after joke about it.yes its not a common name but please a little more respect.when I told them that I need a new stem valve I was asked to bring the tire into the store NOT the shop,the store.One of them looked at it and said the dealership is close andthey open tomorrow.I dont know if Im asking too much but todays experience is not acceptable.I thought respect was part of customer service.What kind of tire shop dont have a valve stem on hand and on top of that I had to rolled in and out the tire.
I own four vehicles and have bought all of my tires from here. Thankfully I have never had to use road hazard. I work a job that does not permit scheduling appointments and today I was in a pinch to get my tires rotated. They were too busy to accommodate a loyal customer by simply rotating the tires that THEY installed. Not only did they turn away a paying customer because I did not have an appointment, they lost a loyal customer as well; but, they did gain a negative review. Just another business that fails to comprehend what customer service actually is. I bet if I was there to buy more tires they would have squeezed me in. Never again, NTB! By the way, do I need an appointment to have a tire repaired covered under road hazard?
The mechanics seem to know their jobs, but need to work on their time. If they expect customers to pay moderate/higher price for the service, they should be able to deliver a faster performance. There are used tire shops with guys who can do the same job in half the time.
The staff at this location is really friendly. They make sure you understand what’s going on and everything is always done in a timely matter.
Every time I come in here they say they’re too busy even though all the bays are empty. They said they only have weekday appointments but that doesn’t work for most people.
Staff was friendly. I’ve been here several times in hopes things would get better for an over all experience but it hasn’t. The fact that it takes an hour or more every time I come to get an oil change done is beyond ridiculous. I am a mechanical technician myself and where I work I get an oil change and state inspections done in 30 minutes or less on most vehicles. These guys have no sense of urgency to get the work done. If you have an hour to 2 hours to get an oil change and tire rotation done then by all means this place is great for you. Would not recommend this place to anyone I know.
Went in to NTB for my routine maintenance and oil change. Chris was very pleasant and nice. service with a smile. completed my car within a timely fashion. will be coming back to NTB from now on.

Jessica was fantastic at multitasking and most welcoming. She was taking phone calls and checking in guests for service, all during their undergoing remodel. My oil change, tire rotate, & alignment was fast, accurate, curtious, and professional. I will be back for sure.
