This is one of the best places I found to give my business to since I moved over here from Indian Trail. Such a clean waiting room. Such professional and helpful staff. So thorough. So ON TIME. I have our inspections done here, wouldn’t trust our vehicles to anyone else. HIGHLY recommended!

Took my truck to Randys to have the tires rotated and to inspect my front bearings for any sign of wear before taking a trip. I ended up reserving a rental vehicle to drive on the trip last minute, but decided to still take the truck because I needed the tires rotated. They rotated the tires and told me the bearings seemed to still be in good shape. I drove the truck straight to my house, which is about 7ish miles away, and parked it. I backed into the driveway and walked away on the drivers side. I return home after my 4 day trip and decide that Im going to wash my truck. While washing my truck I notice one of my center caps have fallen off. I had already received a follow up text, asking how everything was. I didnt have anything bad to say at this time, because I didnt notice my cap was missing at this point. When I did realize my cap was missing, I sent a picture of the wheel and missing cap and made then aware it was missing. This cap has rode for 30,000+miles without falling off after I personally installed them on the truck and rotated the tires myself. He tells me that the style of caps I had didnt look like they wouldve had to be removed in order to rotate, which he was correct, they didnt have to be.. But they can easily be knocked loose when being re-installed on the truck. So I guess, even though I didnt touch the wheels that day, its still my fault the cap fell off. While waiting for mine to be finished, I had planned on bringing my girlfriends car by the following weekend, but I think I will find someone else to do the work for me.

These guys are awful don’t ever use them. had a vehicle just needed a wheel removed they took a week and a half just to tell me they couldnt take a wheel of a car. No contact no calls no updates. Car would still be there another week if I hadn’t called. These guy are totally useless

Brought my 95 wrangler in to put an exhaust on the 350 I just put in it, the vehicle was finished when they said it would be finished, the price was a little higher then originally qouted, but the work was top quality and I have zero complaints about the craftsmanship performed on my vehicle. Most of all it sounded great, I get compliments on the sound everytime I take it out. Definitely recommend.

Installed parts wrong after having our vehicle for 2 days. Then promised they’d fix it if we brought it back in on a specific day and time. Did that and sat for hours with no one caring. The manager kept “forgetting” what our issue was and no one remotely cared that we had very unsatisfactory work done. Spent $800 and got swindled.Edited after reply from business to address that the parts supplied were the issue: they weren’t. You shouldn’t have had to order any additional parts for the vehicle. Everything needed was in the kit we gave you that was made for that truck. Took it to another shop after you gave us the run around and said it couldn’t be done. They got the parts WE gave them installed with no issues. We gave y’all the exact same parts and you told us the company must have sent us the wrong parts but they didn’t. We even checked with the company after you told us. We brought in pictures of a diagram to show you how they go in and no one cared to look. You were told over and over that this was an upgraded kit and would go in differently. We wasted our money coming there and not one time did we feel like no one ever cared about it being done right, only fast. So we had to pay a different shop a few hundred to have the parts we gave you installed the right way when you claimed that wasn’t possible. It’s frustrating because now we are out the money we paid you and had to postpone work jobs causing further disruption to our money. So I’m unsure of who you spoke to on your management team, but that person seems to have given a false or embellished report of what really happened.Also want to add when we got it back it was making noises, and we were told the truck was too loud for the tech who test drove to hear it but we both heard it right away. We had to bring it back in and have that minor issue fixed as a result of your tech’s incompetence. We also were bringing it in for the parts being installed wrong at the same time. When we brought it back we waited 2.5 hours to even have it put on a lift, despite being told over the phone we would be brought in to the bay first thing at 9am regardless of who was doing what. Nothing about our experience was pleasant.

I had a 3pm appointment to have a muffler installed. I arrived at 2:40pm and there was no one in there. I gave them my keys and walked to the gas station across the street. When I got back, there was two people in there, both of whom were serviced before me. They didnt pull my truck in until 4:35. I was already looking for someone else to do the job. Then they charged me double. DONT GO THERE!

Great shop for small jobs. They dont like to do a job thats more then easy.I left my car for over a week and I was in no rush to get it back. I was told several times they could fix it if I would pay more for more stuff to be done. When I disagreed with this and asked them to fix initial cause of problems, they couldnt manage to fix it.My initial bill was over $800 and they decided that wasnt enough, so I had to remove my vehicle.

Good folks - I have been going there for years and never been disappointed. They saved me a TON of money on a Honda catalytic converter replacement, compared to the dealer!

Went to them to get exhaust installed and was done at reasonable price and staff is very friendly. Exhaust came loose and rattled two different times and they fixed it for free even though it wasn’t their fault (because of trans rebuild) work is done quickly and very efficiently. Would recommend to anyone.

Someone recommend them to me for some exhaust work. I drove from Indian Trail to their shop in Gastonia and I am happy I did. The customer service is second to none. Very friendly and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. Alex even called me the next morning for a follow up on if I was happy and satisfied with the work since I picked my car up after hours the previous day. That sealed the deal for me on having them doing all my repairs on my vehicles.

Had my brakes and rotors changed on the front and back paid a total of $685.00 and now I’m being told by another mechanic that my brakes and rotors where not changed on the front😤 can’t believe allowed someone to bamboozle me out of my hard earned money... I’m a single parent of two kids but God sees all but be careful cause to now I didn’t know the difference........ TODAY IS June 30, 2020 and I’d like to apologize and to go on record and say that I was wrong and they did everything right it was just a shade tree mechanic trying to make more money off of me and I feel so stupid for accusations of RANDY’S AUTO not fixing my brakes and rotors when they did they’re great and I do Apologize y’all I know nothing about cars

I had my 2006 Santa Fe in the shop to have my AC fixed, while they searched for the problem they found my wire system as well as myspark plugs needed replacing, I didnr really want to pay another 350.00but it was necessary, before they did the work they called me first, and I approvrd the work, I thanked them for their honesty. and hard work ..

Great place! I had some exhaust damage to my car that was going to be very expensive to replace. The dealer recommended I check this place out and see if they can weld it rather than replace the parts. In less than an hour and for under $100 they fixed 2 leaking gaskets and shifted the entire system back in place. They were very friendly and trustworthy (which is hard to find with some auto places). Highly recommend this business.

Ive been to two other shops since moving here 4 years ago, RANDYS has treated my wife and I much better than the other two. Very fair and fast work on our two Hondas and my Nissan D21 hardbody truck. If youre looking for a shade tree mechanic, you get what you pay for. I called around and got quotes every time we had work done and RANDYS was always below the other quotes and got us in within a day or two, if not the same day. I cant afford a new car and have bills to pay, I think they understand that and treated us right.

They replaced my power steering pump on my truck back in August. It started leaking again in November. So I told them about it and they put another power steering pump on free of charge no questions asked. So if you want to take your vehicle to repair shop that guarantees their work take it to Randys.

These guys are the best hands down at custom exhaust. Custom made H pipe, Flowmaster 40s with tips on a 2017 Mustang GT Premium Convertible. Perfect fabrication and installation. Sounds amazing with no drone noise at highway speeds. Always have my exhaust systems done here.

Horrible customer service. Paid $1500 for electronic cut outs on my car and have brought it back 2 consecutive times in a month. They told me it wont cause any damage to my M5 and will work just fine. Wrong on both. Caused engine power reduction and cut outs get stuck open and do not close. Been several weeks of putting me off and will not refund me. Come Get work done here at your own risk.

Very good service!! Dropped my car off and was worried all day that it wouldnt get fixed right, however they ended up fixing it perfectly!! They found other things wrong with it but I appreciate them letting me know instead of not telling me just so I could end up back with further issues. I dont know why other reviews are bad but my experience was great with them. All my repairs will be done by them from now on.

This place is a rip off told my wife to go down there to get state inspection done and they said we needed ball joints and made her pay half the inspection fee. Like $12.50. I know the ball joints are fine and I told her to go down to Clark tires the same day an they passed it no problem. I will never do business with this company ever again and I will make sure I tell as many people as I can and I hope they lose $1000s of dollars just because of me.

Inspection showed car needed new catalytic converter, cost $900. Alex at Randys found i only needed a new O2 sensor, cost $250. Highly recommend Randys for emission issues.

Not really sure how to comment on this. Yes, they do a fair job at exhaust work.In between, 2 to 3 stars.We used them back in 2004 for our truck to have a muffler put on and it does sound great and work was excellent.As far as mechanical work, I dont really have anything great to say about it.We brought our car in for exhaust work.Brand new motor, but for some odd reason it would keep stalling when you put it into gear, and then the oil pressure would drop to 0. We asked them to check that out for us, but it really never was checked out. After the car sat there for over week, I got a phone call saying the car is ready to go and ran great!Wrong...........the car stalls as soon as you put it into gear. It was not fixed or a reason as to why it was doing this.They also did not put back the Traction Control Switch that was removed from the center console, but just left it on the seat, and wires wide open.Also, we had asked to please put the car in the shop at night because it is a rare car and expensive. It sat outside for several nights. I get it, really I do, they had no room, but I am sure they could have taken at least one of the newer cars out and put ours in, especially when they promised that it would go in at closing time, nightly.Two mechanics supposedly worked on the car, but there was always a delay because of one mechanic who started the work had home issues and our car was put on the back burner several times. Yes, we didnt need the car back right away, but that is not the point.Would I use them ever again for mechanical work? No.Exhaust? Yes.Now we have to bring the car to another shop to have the motor checked out. smh

Yea.. We “ had” a 2005 Mazda Tribute.. that I had towed up there.. An there it set for months..& months.. week after week we called.. went up there. and was told it was bad e.c.u. They had put coil packs o2 sensors but I was told it just died..I told them look I got $1500 cash.. to get it fixed.. but it never was.. Now I see a employee driving it .. with a tag on it.. And this vehicle was the only transportation of my g.f. Tracy who has stage 4 cancer..

Very bad service and the mechanics that work there and the inspector need to learn how to work on cars. they need to be inspected themselves. I took my truck there to get inspected and they told me I needed a Pittman arm and all my tie rods to be replaced to pass inspection and I took my truck to 2 different mechanics and there is nothing wrong with my Pittman arm or tie rods just Normal wear I got it inspected somewhere else and passed no problem . Hope the dmv investigates them and they lose there inspection license because there crooks.

Please watch out if u go here this place is a rip off they took a piece off my car and said I need it fix to pass my inspection they lied that piece had nothing to do with it and then they talking about 600 dollars please go to another place if u want to save money I end up going some where else and they fix the problem for 150 and they fix the problem they messed up on my car my car and it been running good ever since so please do your self a favor and go some where else this place is no good only person that was nice was the lady at the front desk she was very respectful and did her job well

This place doesnt even deserve one star! They have horrible customer service. They tell you one date for your car to be finished and it really takes them two weeks. They dont know what they are doing. All of the mechanics need to go back to school. One mechanic asked Siri a mechanical question right in front of me. Who does that!? Randys Complete Auto Care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE! It wont run after.
