Avoid this location if you want to get a flu shot. They dont even deserve a one star rating. My wife made appointments for herself and our kids. She took them out of school to avoid the weekend rush. Weve gone to Walgreens for years and they have all our our insurance information which hasnt changed for years and years. She gets there and the person they had working said we couldnt use our insurance and wed have to pay $41 for each person if we wanted the flu shot. NOT TRUE!!!!!! We went to a different location last year and they had no problems accepting our insurance. We pay enough for our insurance premiums without needing to pay Walgreens $124 dollar for flu shots that are free of charge. They guy would NOT even bother to run the insurance cards they had on file. I called the Benson location and they ran my insurance card over the phone to check and sure enough, WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE COVERED 100%. So avoid the 40/42 location and go to a different location if you have insurance. But thanks Walgreens because going forward weve decided to go to CVS instead. Bye-Bye Walgreens.
A model of inefficiency. If you are thinking if coming here for the covid shots, be warned that it could take up to 45 min., whether or not you registered on their website. You will still be standing in line. Theres redundant paperwork to do, too. Makes no difference if you completed any forms on line. Apparently they dont have access to those systems. And pray to God that their systems dont go down suddenly because it takes their computers HALF AN HOUR to reboot, as it happened on Monday. The actual administration of the injection is only 2-3 min, so they get at least 2 stars. But after these experiences (and reading other reviews) this Walgreens cannot be my regular pharmacy.
My wife and I have both tried to call about different issues in the last five days and been put on hold for fifteen minutes then hung up on. My wife has been waiting for five days for a vital prescription and we cant even get in touch with someone to find out whats going on. Avoid using this pharmacy.
I called the pharmacy 2 times and those two times I was hung up on after waiting on hold for 20 minutes each time. I also called a third time in which I waited on hold for 26 minutes before I was able to speak with anyone. They need better employees that know how to give good customer service.
Every time I go to this Walgreens the customer service believe it or not gets worst.... now were at a zero in the rating. Today Mr. Tori T. past the window several times never acknowledging that Im at the drive thru waiting on service. Well I waiting for 10 minutes before she came and said how may I help you I wish that the corporate office would do something about the less than professional service given at this location. So, please beware of the wait time on the phone or in person and how they make you feel that you are inconveniencing them. Go figure, I thought it was their job....
Waited almost hour after my scheduled vaccine appointment while others were checked in and got vaccines before me. And always have to wait at least 30 minutes in the store for pharmacy medications pick up
I tried to call twice today because they did not return my vaccine card on Monday. 2 calls,on hold for over 15 minutes both times and never got to speak to anyone. Poor customer service to say the least. Id give a 0 star if I could
Worst Walgreens in the world. I spent 45 minutes calling and being hung up on after holding each time...not one time so i pick up my meds do they ever apply my pharmacy discount card to have to go back for a refund. Garbage
Constantly being put on hold for up to 20 minutes when I call to request refills. Drive thru line is always insanely long. Youd figure at some point theyd hire some help.
Very professional here! Everyone was very courteous and was able to get me in and out quickly! Also they had good deals on treats and sweets!
My doctor recommended and ordered me a tennis shot and 2 antibiotics on 03/24/2021, the pharmacy gave me my antibiotics. but refused my tetanus shot because they said the wound needs to heal first. at first I believed them, but I can find no information that says that, that is even a thing. I am stuck wondering why they refused my tetanus shot. I trust my doctor more than this pharmacy. I will be calling my doctor in the morning to figure out what is the truth. if I am wrong and I should wait until wound heals to get my shot I will take this review down. this is not the first time this pharmacy has confused me.
Bad customer service. Do not care about the customers picking up prescriptions.
This is one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever been to. They seem constantly short staffed and you always have to wait a long time to get your prescription especially if you go inside. The people don’t seem too bright behind the desk and today I went through the drive-through they couldn’t get my insurance to work, asked about insurance I had three years ago so I had to get out of line and go into the store to clear it up. I had to Wait in line again and then wait for them to find my prescription. So disorganized. I will do mail order from now on.
The lady’s at the pharmacy and the “nurse” were very nice when I went and got my covid shot.
Personally I just love Walgreens especially if you look for the orange sale tags
I switched to walgreens because CVS no longer takes my insurance. For the most part, Ive never really had any issues but my last experience the other day needs to be shared for improvement with staff at the pharmacy. I was forgotten about and waited over 35mins for my prescription while in pain. You guys need more pharmacy STAFF!!
Valentina was a HUGE help!I didnt know where to look for what I needed, and she led me right to the products. This Walgreens is well stocked inside. I appreciate the help! Especially from the employees.
Pharmacy is terrible. I dropped off my 2 prescription and the lady said it would be 1 1/2 hours until it would be ready because they started giving covid vaccines. She said she would call me when ready. I left and ran some a few places and ate lunch. 2 1/2 hours later I went to the window. The same lady helped me. The prescription was never printed and filled. She blamed the covid shots. Sge said it would be an hour and I said Id had already waited 2 1/2 hours. She then said they would go ahead and fill it and it would be ready in 20 minutes. I pulled around and parked for about 30 minutes. Pulled back to window and a different lady came to window. She said the same thing. Hadnt been printed or filled. So the first lady didnt print it and fill it 2 times I went there. This lady said they would fill it and it would be ready in 15 minutes.and they would send me a text. Finally 15 minutes later it was ready. I went to window and a different lady helped me. I paid and whe I got my meds and I thanked the girl and she just tuned her back to me. Terrible Pharmacy and customer service.
The wait time is gotten ridiculous. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone on hold just to be told that I would have to call back the next day for the prescription. The next day I waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru just to ask for the prescription to be filled. I am wondering how long I have to spend when I come back to pick up the prescription.
Rough visit. The store associate pulled down his mask during my checkout as if to make a point. He asked to have one of the beverages I was buying and after I paused and said no he said it was a joke. Then he criticized Walgreens for having to ID me. You deserve better, Walgreens, or, you need a better on-boarding program.
The people at this pharmacy are really nice.
Due to Covid-19 I have had to transfer my monthly prescriptions here for the time being. I was told I could pick them up at a certain point 2 weeks ago, and when I arrived they were not ready. They said to come back in 20 minutes. I did, and they still said they werent ready. I waited for these prescriptions to be filled for almost 2 hours. Cant wait to take them back to my normal pharmacy!
My friend and I went in to get a flu shot, she is eight months pregnant. We were both impressed with the simplicity and gentleness of the pharmacist. It was the most gentle simple flu shot we have ever had. They were awesome! We will definitely be coming back next year.
The only reason I am giving them as much as three stars is because of Jeff. He is the absolute best!! Never an issue with my medication, always very polite and quick. The man knows his stuff. Now, if you step inside this Walgreens and your pharmacists is not Jeff, you are out of luck!! The others are slow, rude, and simply horrible! I will not give this persons name, but she is the worst. Extremely rude, inexperienced, slow, and just plain doesnt give a damn. I wish they would fire her!!! It is to the point that if Jeff is not working I turn around and walk out!!! Enter at your own risk when dealing with anyone else. (FACTS)
Let me profess by saying up until about six or seven months ago I never had any issues with this Pharmacy. They had a Pharmacist who was always very efficient and polite! I have been a customer of theirs for over six years. But Now... Some of the pharmacy techs are good! Very nice and willing to help. As for the actual Pharmacist I have dealt with over the last few months; rude, complacent, externally slow. I went in one day to pick up (1) prescription. I waited over two and half hours. I even left the store and came back and it still was not ready!! I was the ONLY customer in there. The pharmacist claimed she tried to call me, yet my phone was on me the whole time and NEVER RANG! Not even a text telling me it was delayed. Nothing! I waited another fifteen minutes and finally received my medication. Unbelievable! The same pharmacist is completely bias and treats some people with complete disrespect. If you have a choice and are not forced to do business with them I highly recommend you do so. As for me I am switching.
I was called by the automated system that my medication was ready. When I arrived it was not ready and I had to wait 45 minutes. The manager of the pharmacy didn’t seem to care that there was a huge line of customers. Their customer service is awful. They need more help at this store to accommodate the large growing population in their area.
I wish you could rate in the negatives. This store is HORRIBLE. ESPECIALLY THE PHARMACY. I go to pick up my husbands medicine and I specifically ask for 3 of his medicines that were refilled. The lady comes back I pay over $150 for these medicines and Im given 2 of them. Not told there is only 2 and that one cant be filled till the next day (today). So I leave ..my husband and I get in the car and take off for NY. 12 hours away. He goes in to take his meds and comes to find out one is not in there. We call and are told they cant transfer it .. the doctor has too... since we are in NY for 6 days..call the DOCTOR and well closed for holidays since he is out of town. ...wtfffffffff... I hate this Walgreens and will be changing from them immediately. Not to mention theyre slow and you wait for ever for your medicine.
Staff is friendly and helpful with explaining insurance issues. Also saw a couple of junkies getting mad because the staff told them it was too early to get their narcotics filled. The staff stood firm and handled it very professionally! Way to fight the opioid crisis!!
Best pharmacy and customer service staff of any pharmacy/Walgreens I’ve been to. Every time I call, they are prompt and polite. This is the Chik-fila of Walgreens! They have even gone out of their way to fix insurance issues I’ve had in the past. Great job!
Dont waste your time with the pharmacy, it would be far less painful to die of whatever condition you have than deal with these mouth breathers.
I have always had a friendly experience here from the pharmacy to the cashiers.
Pharmacy has been helpful and timely, I had an issue getting my prescription filled at another pharmacy, where Jeff has been very helpful is contacting my physician and the previous pharmacy to try to resolve the issue.
Horrible experience! Had 3 issues since I have been forced to use Walgreens. Twice now the med my doctor ordered has been out of stock and these were commonly used meds. Then 2 years ago they filled my script for nitroglycerin by giving me 125 tabs!!!!! Do the not have any common sense. Because of my Tricare insurance I cannot go to CVS. NEVER had a single problem there! Frustrated at best.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! If you want a CHAOTIC & STRESSFUL encounter this is the place for you! This building is full of judgmental bigots that assume they know everything about you due to the medicine you take! As for the last review just because you see someone arguing with this bunch DOES NOT mean they are “junkies” STOP assuming YOU KNOW EVERYTHING about random people!I guarantee You DO NOT...I have dealt with this poor treatment from them for far too long and as of last night NO MORE!I honestly hope they get ANOTHER $80 million fine!
I went inside to fill my childs prescription. Found out the Doctor needed to be called to clarify/correct a dosage and I was told hed keep an eye on it and for me to come back later. 4 HOURS later and the Pharmasist still had not called the Doctor!!! Absolute neglect.
This is a fantastic drug store. Staff is knowledgable and friendly, and willing to go the extra mile when needed. Ive never been disappointed.
Pharmacy is all about bait and switch! Good rx is a discount program that you sign up for and Walgreens has agreed to to sell you drugs at a certain price but when you go to purchase them they dont give you the brand that gives you the discount that shows online when you look it up. I paid almost 80.00 and checked them online when I got home on Good rx and it should have been no more than $25.00. Ill be transferring all my prescriptions to a local family owned pharmacy that I can trust ! Thanks for screwing me out of my hard earned money Walgreens
Very slow, never have anything ready. rude customer service, unreliable.
Called to get a refill of my sons medication- staff was so helpful, fast and friendly- there werent any refills left on the prescription, so they contacted the doctor. Awesome!
AMAZING service, had a doctor send in a prescription 15 minutes before close, and they filled both of them for me so I could pick them up that night. A+
The people working the pharmacy are always very nice. There are never more than two people or rarely three people working the pharmacy. They are working very hard, juggling the phones, the drive thru and the people lined up at the counter. Wait times to turn a script in is very long. Waiting for a script to be filled is painfully long. It is so sad that as hard as they work and as nice as they are, you are always left feeling their customer service is terrible. It is not the fault of their employees but the company’s decision to never have enough people there to service the number of scripts coming in.
Helpful employees, good experiences.
Pharmacist and their staff are very knowledgeable. Answer all questions regarding your prescription and filing insurance.
It is very frustrating when you are standing in line and the sales clerk is having a personal conversation with the lady he has already rung up, leaving you standing there. Keep your personal conversations and your flirtation off the clock to provide customer service to all.
Great service, always!
Very bad experience! Very rude!
Everything here is slooooow. Rude employees too.
I received a text that prescriptions were ready to be picked up yesterday but today they are not ready again. The clerk just replied the system may not be working.
